{"Oh great, I have a feeling this is going to be fun."}
The Tardis is tumbling out of control and Fay is loving the ride. It flies over the Millennium Dome with Theta dangling from the threshold, sonic screwdriver between his teeth and trying to pull himself back inside. I let out a small squeak as I hang to the console, every time I moved towards the door the ship rocks again. We are heading straight for the Parliament Clock Tower, so I make my way around the controls and change course just in time. Theta climbs back inside and shuts the doors behind him, exhausted, as the Tardis continues on its way. Fay letting out an excited laugh as she ran towards her father whose eyes brightened as he held his arms out for her.
It was peaceful for another minute before another explosion went off. The room suddenly shifted and we went backwards right into the swimming pool. I quickly swim up, looking around to see Theta holding onto Fay tightly. Sighing in relief, I finally notice the books that had joined us in the pool. "Aw, my books." I pouted lowly causing them to look over, "Don't worry, my love. I'll fix it later." I let out a small chuckle as Theta swims over with Fay, handing her to me he places a kiss on my lips before he starts to search for something to pull us out.
For only the second time ever, the Tardis doors open outwards - they are facing the sky - and a grappling hook is thrown out.
A soaking wet Theta clambers out, his hand reaching down for Fay as I lifted her up. She giggled as her father placed her on the ground outside before he smiled down at me with his hand reaching for me. I paused staring at it, "I've got you. Always." He whispered, his eyes shining brightly causing me to smile up at him. "I know." I told him, tightly grabbing his hand and climbing my way up. When I was on the ground, Theta settled on top of the tardis which was on its side. He looked down at it with a frown before looking back to us, "Could I have an apple? All I can think about. Apples. I love apples. Maybe I'm having a craving? That's new. Never had cravings before." Fay and I turned, finally noticing the little red haired girl that was staring at us strangely.
"Are you okay?" She asked with a cock of her head, her voice Scottish and she looked about Fay's age. Well in human years anyway, "Just had a fall. All the way down there, right to the library. Hell of a climb back up." Theta winked down at me causing me to laugh, "You're soaking wet." She pointed out looking at the three of us, "We were in the swimming pool." Fay spoke up with a smile over her own. "You said you were in the library." She muttered back, "So was the swimming pool." I countered with a raised eyebrow as I pulled Fay into my front. Rubbing her arms as she started to shiver from the cold. "Are you a policeman?" She asked Theta who frowned in response. "Why? Did you call a policeman?" I asked her, "Did you come about the crack in my wall?"
"What crack? Argh!" He falls to the ground, immediately Fay and I are by his side. "Are you all right, mister?" The little girl asks with a frown as she eyed us. "No, I'm fine. It's okay. This is all perfectly norm..." A breath of golden energy comes from his mouth, it swirls the air before making its way towards Fay and I. It soon split, both strands going into our chests. "Well that's new." I muttered in confusion as Fay giggled, "Who are you?" The girl asked finally gaining our attention again. "I don't know yet. I'm still cooking. Does it scare you?" Theta asked her as we helped him up.
"No, it just looks a bit weird."
"No, no, no. The crack in your wall. Does it scare you?"
"Yes."
"Well then, no time to lose. I'm the Doctor, This is Kate and Fay. Do everything I tell you, don't ask stupid questions, and don't wander off." Theta walks straight into a tree causing me to wince and Fay to laugh once again at her father. "Are you all right?" The girl asked with a wince on her face, "Early days. Steering's a bit off." He pops back up, "Daddy is silly." Fay speaks up, rushing towards her father and raising her arms for him to pick her up. I smiled as he swooped her up into his arms with a giant smile of his own. "My girls."
The young girl leads us inside, "If you're a doctor, why does your box say Police?" She reached into a bowl, pulling out an apple before handing it to Theta who bites into it, then proceeded to spit it out. I snorted as he grimaced, "That's disgusting. What is that?" He asked looking down at the girl in disgust, Fay quickly snatches it from her father's hand and eats the rest. "An apple." The girls spoke together, "Apple's rubbish. I hate apples." He complained causing me to roll my eyes, I moved over to the counter grabbing a couple of napkins. "You said you loved them." Our daughter teases, I hand a napkin to Fay, then to Theta who looked at me confused. "No, no, no. I like yoghurt. Yoghurt's my favourite. Give me yoghurt." Amelia gets him a cup from the fridge. He pours it in his mouth and then spits it out into the napkin.
He looks up at me with a raised eyebrow as I shrug, "I hate yoghurt. It's just stuff with bits in." He grumbled throwing it away along with Fay's apple that she had mostly finished before handing it back to her father. "You said it was your favourite." The redhead frowned up at him, "New mouth. New rules. It's like eating after cleaning your teeth. Everything tastes wrong. Argh!" He twitches violently, smacking himself in the head causing Fay to laugh. "What is it? What's wrong with you?" Theta frowned before he spun around as if trying to figured out what he was missing. He paused, then looked down at Fay who stared up at him in confusion. He quickly picked her up, finally content with her in his arms. "Wrong with me? It's not my fault. Why can't you give me any decent food? You're Scottish. Fry something." So she gets the frying pay out while Theta dries his hair with a towel that I managed to find.
"Ah, bacon!" That gets spat out, too. "Bacon. That's bacon. Are you trying to poison me?" A saucepan of baked beans gets heated up. "Ah, you see? Beans." Until he gets them in his mouth, that is. Fay is sat on the table before he rushes to the sink to spit them out. "Beans are evil. Bad, bad beans. Bread and butter. Now you're talking." He throws the plate of bread and butter out, hitting a cat. "And stay out!" I roll my eyes as I make my way to the freezer. "We've got some carrots." She suggested watching me with a frown, "Carrots? Are you insane? No. Wait. Hang on. I know what I need. No, Kate knows what I need. Yes! Thank you, my love. Fish fingers and custard." He kisses me with a smile before making himself happy with his food. I managed a bowl of soup, while he contentedly dips the fish fingers into a bowl of custard and eats, Fay and the little girl have some ice cream.
"Funny."
"Am I? Good. Funny's good. What's your name?"
"Amelia Pond."
"Oh, that's a brilliant name. Amelia Pond. Like a name in a fairy tale. Are we in Scotland, Amelia?"
"No. We had to move to England. It's rubbish."
"So what about your mum and dad, then? Are they upstairs? Thought we'd have woken them by now." I asked her as I wiped Theta's lips with my thumb before sticking it in my mouth causing him to gap at me. I smirk back at him, "I don't have a mum and dad. Just an aunt." Amelia gains our attention just as Theta was about to start squirming. "I don't even have an aunt." He muttered out lowly still staring at me, "You're lucky." She tells us, "I know." He winks giving my hand a squeeze as Fay watches us with a smile. "So, your aunt, where is she?" I asked turned to Amelia just as he placed a hand on my thigh. "She's out." I slowly turn back towards Theta who was smirking into his custard. "And she left you all alone?" Fay asked, our attention back on the little girl. "I'm not scared." She states staring at our daughter with a frown. "Course, you're not. You're not scared of anything. Box falls out of the sky, family falls out of a box, man eats fish custard, and look at you, just sitting there. So you know what I think?"
"What?"
"Must be a hell of a scary crack in your wall."
:••:••:••:••:
The crack is about three to four feet long, and slightly w shaped. My hand twitched as Theta moved closer to it, Fay whimper slightly causing him to frown. "You've had some cowboys in here. Not actual cowboys, though that can happen." Amelia stood behind us, her hand reaching for Fay's. "I used to hate apples, so my mum put faces on them." Amelia gives Theta an apple with a smiley face cut into it, he has moved away from the crack to grab it. My eyes glowed as I began to move towards it. "She sounds good, your mum. I'll keep it for later. This wall is solid and the crack doesn't go all the way through it. So here's a thing. Where's the draught coming from?" He turned, his eyes widening just as I touched it.
A bright light shined as I let out a shout of pain, I could faintly hear Theta and Fay yelling for me but it was overtaken by the whispers of time.
"He's mine."
"This is me, being reasonable."
"Who are you, River Song?"
"Don't touch my daughter!"
"Amelia Pond, you better step away from me. This is your fault. You're daughter did this. She's taken everything from me."
"We've never forgotten, just moved on as we needed too."
Letting out a gasp, I flew back, landing in Theta's arms. His eyes were wide and horrified, he was shaking as was I. "My love, are you okay? Nora?" I slowly nodded as my body finally began to regain itself. "What happened, momma?" My head snapped towards Fay and I immediately pulled her away from Amelia who frowned as I did. Theta watched me for a moment, before he carried Fay and I to the bed. He set me down before placing a kiss on my head, "Whatever you saw, it'll be ok. We can fix it." I stared up at him with tears in my eyes before looking down at my daughter who sat in my lap staring up at me. "I'm not so sure. That crack is a diversion of time and it's not done yet. It will take what it's come for." He frowned at my words before standing up and looking towards the crack. He scans it with the sonic screwdriver. "Wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey. You know what the crack is?" My heart skipped as I smiled at his phrase from his last self. "What?"
"It's just a crack. But I'll tell you something funny. If you knocked this wall down, the crack would stay put, because the crack isn't in the wall." Theta spun around to face us with a raised eyebrow, "Where is it then?" Amelia asked looking between us, still standing in the doorway. "Everywhere. In everything. It's a split in the skin of the world. Two parts of space and time that should never have touched, pressed together right here in the wall of your bedroom. Sometimes, can you hear?" Theta asked as he looked between the three of us, I knew he wanted to know what I had seen and heard but I couldn't tell him. "A voice. Yes." There is a vague growling from somewhere. Theta empties Amelia's nighttime glass of water and uses it to listen to the crack. "Prisoner Zero has escaped." An anonymous male voice came through the wall, "Prisoner Zero?" Theta and I asked together looking towards one another in confusion.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped. That's what I heard. What does it mean?" Amelia asked watching in confusion, "Prisoner Zero has escaped." I continued to repeat on a loop, "It means that on the other side of this wall, there's a prison and they've lost a prisoner. And you know what that means?" He spun around again, "What?" Fay asked this time, looking up at her father with concern on her face. "You need a better wall. The only way to close the breach is to open it all the way. The forces will invert and it'll snap itself shut. Or..." He stops, pausing for a moment as he made eye contact with Amelia who raised an eyebrow at him. "What?" She asked, "You know when grown-ups tell you everything's going to be fine and you think they're probably lying to make you feel better?" I snorted slightly with an eye roll, I knew exactly where this one was going. "Yes." She spoke after a moment, "Everything's going to be fine." Theta takes Fay's hand and aims the sonic screwdriver at the crack. It widens, flooding the bedroom with bright light.
"Prisoner Zero has escaped. Prisoner Zero has escaped."
"Hello? Hello?"
A giant blue eye looks at us through the crack. "Oh great, I have a feeling this is going to be fun." I muttered sarcastically with a frown as I crossed my arms staring the eyeball down. Theta stood protectively in front of the three of us, "What's that?" A bolt of light shoots towards Theta, and he doubles over, then the crack closes again. "There, you see? Told you it would close. Good as new." He spun around with a cocky smile upon his face. "What's that thing? Was that Prisoner Zero?" Amelia asked looking up at Theta for answers. "No. I think that was Prisoner Zero's guard. Whatever it was, it sent me a message. Psychic paper. Takes a lovely little message." He pulls it out and reads it, "Prisoner Zero has escaped. But why tell us? Unless." He spins around with wide as he looks behind me. "Unless what?" Amelia asked, her eyes wide with panic. "Unless Prisoner Zero escaped through here. But he couldn't have. We'd know." He stated as he picked Fay up, holding her tightly in his arms and making his way out of the room slowly.
The stairs go up, There is a door across the way and two at the far end where the staircase goes down again. "It's difficult. Brand new me. Nothing works yet. Kate's still registering as well so I don't want her too. But there's something I'm missing. In the corner of my eye." He slowly starts to turn with Fay in his arms who was already looking at the same door that I was looking at, the door that wasn't supposed to be there. The Tardis Cloister Bell tolls, and we all pause, Theta's eyes widened. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" He takes off running with me following close behind, Fay giggling as she bounced while her father ran with her. "I've got to get back in there. The engines are phasing. It's going to burn!" I didn't even know that Amelia was following until she spoke up from behind us. "But it's just a box. How can a box have engines?" She asked as Theta moved to help me climb inside, handing me Fay so we could stand on a ledge instead of falling straight down into the water. "It's not a box. It's a time machine." I listened to Theta speak to the young girl. "What, a real one? You've got a real time machine?"
"Not for much longer if I can't get her stabilised. Five minute hop into the future should do it."
"Can I come?"
"Not safe in here. Not yet. Five minutes. Give me five minutes, I'll be right back."
"People always say that." She huffs, "Am I people? Do I even look like people? Trust me. I'm the Doctor."He jumps down into the Tardis, "Geronimo!" I rolled my eyes with a shake of my head as he lands with a splash. Fay laughed at her father as he popped his head up to stare at us, before moving towards the console room where we would meet him. The door close and the Tardis dematerializes. Amelia runs back to her room, gets a suitcase from underneath her bed and packs. The door across from hers is the bathroom. She doesn't notice that one of the doors at the end is now open. Dressed in duffel coat and wooly hat, Amelia sits on her suitcase in the garden and waits.
:••:••:••:••:
When the Tardis finally materializes, steaming, it is day and Amelia is not there. Theta, Fay and I finally tumble out, "Amelia! Amelia, I worked out what it was. I know what I was missing! You've got to get out of there!" He takes off leaving Fay and I behind causing me to roll my eyes in annoyance. So that's how this one was gonna be, "Amelia? Amelia, are you all right? Are you there?" Fay and I make our way inside as he runs up to her bedroom door. "Prisoner Zero's here. Prisoner Zero is here! Prisoner Zero is here! Do you understand me? Prisoner Zero is..." A floorboard creaks behind him. He turns and gets knocked out by a cricket bat, Fay and I wince as we are met with a wide eyed red head. I raised an eyebrow, "Hello, Amelia." I started off before watching her grab Theta and handcuff him to the radiator.
She gives Fay and I a pointed glare, before pointing towards him. I let out a small chuckle before making my way over to sit next to Theta as Fay plopped down in my lap. If that was how she wanted to play it, I will play along. Theta is soon revived by our daughter who was poking her father on the cheek with giggles. He quickly jerks, wrapping his arm around Fay protectively and quickly looking around. His face immediately relaxes at the sight of me sitting next to him, "You ok, my love?" I asked him gently as I touch his forehead, my eyes glowing to heal his wound. He nods with a gentle look in his eyes that makes me blush, he then sees Amelia in a micro-skirted police uniform using her radio. I could tell it was a fake but Theta didn't see through her act, "White male, mid twenties, breaking and entering. Send me some back-up. I've got him restrained. Oi! You, sit still." She snapped finally noticing us moving around. "Cricket bat. I'm getting cricket bat." He looked at me in confirmation causing me to nod back with a raised eyebrow. "You were breaking and entering."
"Well, that's much better. Brand new me. Whack on the head, just what I needed." I snorted lightly with a shake of my head. He could've just asked me, I would have at least done it nicer than the other redhead. "Do you want to shut up now? I've got back up on the way." She snapped as she lied, "Hang on, no, wait. You're a policewoman." Theta stated as he frowned, "And you're breaking and entering. You see how this works?" She rolled her eyes in exasperation, I knew she recognized us or she wouldn't be lying. "But what are you doing here? Where's Amelia?" Right in front of you, idiot. I sighed, we must have missed the point of time, when the Tardis was rebuilding around us. It wasn't like we had much of a choice, she wouldn't really let us near the console as she changed. Poor girl. "Amelia Pond?" Amelia asked with a fake confused look, "Yeah, Amelia. Little Scottish girl. Where is she? I promised her five minutes but the engines were phasing. I suppose I must have gone a bit far. Has something happened to her?"
"Amelia Pond hasn't lived here in a long time." Her tone of voice changed as she glared at Theta, defiantly resented us. "How long?" He asked, "Six months." Twelve years. Damn, she wasn't letting him in on it, I mean neither was I but that was more or less because I wanted to see how this would play out. Fay didn't seem to notice and if she did, she was to busy playing with her fathers fingers to care anyway. My baby was just like her father, couldn't sit still worth the life of her. "No. No. No. No, We can't be six months late. I said five minutes. I promised. She was gonna be Fay's friend! My daughter needs a friend. What happened to her? What happened to Amelia Pond?" She pauses before speaking into radio, I rolled my eyes at her acting. Theta would be the only one to fall for it. "Sarge, it's me again. Hurry it up. This guy knows something about Amelia Pond."
"I need to speak to whoever lives in this house right now." Theta demanded causing me to smirk slightly, so this one can get demanding. That's gonna be fun, "I live here." Amelia sassed him, "But you're the police." She rolled her eyes in exasperation. "Yes, and this is where I live. Have you got a problem with that?" I didn't meet her before but I had seen memories of when Theta met Rose and that was almost exactly how they met the second. Theta flinched slightly at my train of thought, his eyes growing dark at the sudden sense of déjà vu. Fay frowned as she looked up between us, "How many rooms?" I asked changing the subject, "I'm sorry, what?" Amelia asked with a cock of her head. "On this floor. How many rooms on this floor? Count them for me now." I demanded shooting her a glare, she glared right back with a snarl. "Why?" Theta immediately tried to move in front of me as my eyes began to glow in anger. "Because it will change your life." He spoke up, his eyes turned towards me as he leaned his head on my shoulder to calm me. "Five. One, two, three, four, five."
"Six."
"Six?"
"Look."
"Look where?"
"Exactly where you don't want to look. Where you never want to look. The corner of your eye. Look behind you." She paused, slightly in horror before she turned around gasping at the new sight before her. "That's, that is not possible. How's that possible?" She asked with a high pitched voice, "There's a perception filter all round the door. Sensed it the last time I was here. Should've seen it. Kate and Fay did." He stated winking at me, "But that's a whole room. That's a whole room I've never even noticed." She muttered, "The filter stops you noticing. Something came a while ago to hide. It's still hiding, and you need to uncuff me now. Kate? Can you, my love?" I shook my head at him, "Not yet." I spoke quickly as she moved towards the door. "I don't have the key. I lost it." Damn, this girl was a major liar. "How can you have lost it? Stay away from that door! Do not touch that door! Listen to me, do not open that. Why does no-one ever listen to me? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to?" He turned towards Fay and I with an offended look, I snorted as Fay laughed. "I don't think so, daddy. Mommy and I listen to you." He pouts before nodding and kissing her on the head. "Yes, I suppose you two are the only one who need to listen to me so I can protect you." I raised an eyebrow at the man, I'm pretty sure I'm the one doing the protecting, but I guess I'll let him believe what he wants.
Amelia goes inside the mystery room, "Again. My screwdriver, where is it? Silver thing, blue at the end. Where did it go?" He tried looking for it as best as he could seeming as he's chained to a radiator, that sounds familiar. Maybe a show I had seen? "There's nothing here." She called back, "Whatever's there stopped you seeing the room. What makes you think you could see it? Now please, just get out." A long paused came before she let out a breath. "Silver, blue at the end?" Amelia asked, Theta cocked his head to the side in confusion. "My screwdriver, yeah." He replied, "It's here." He cleared his throat with a nod, "Must have rolled under the door." No it didn't. "Yeah. Must have. And then it must have jumped up on the table." My eyes flashed red, "Get out of there. Get out of there! Get out!" Amelia picks up the screwdriver, which is nearly stuck to the table with gunk. "Get out of there!" Something snake-like with very long sharp teeth slithers down behind her. "What is it? What are you doing?" Theta asked as he looked between me and the door, Fay curling in closer to her father. "There's nothing here, but..." I spoke before she could finish, she needed to see it. "Corner of your eye." I spoke loudly, "What is it?"
"Don't try to see it. If it knows you've seen it, it will kill you. Don't look at it. Do not look." He was wrong tho, if it wanted to kill her, it would have done so by now. It's had years of time. Amelia turns and finally stares it in the face. She screams, "Get out!" She rushed out of the room, throwing the sonic. "Give me that." He snipped slightly, as he locks the door, then tries to free himself. "Come on. What's the bad alien done to you?" I snorted before finally using my powers to free him. He let out a happy laugh as he picks Fay up, and the three of us stand together in front of the radiator. "Will that door hold it?" Amelia asked, "Oh, yeah, yeah, of course. It's an interdimensional multiform from outer space. They're all terrified of wood." I snapped in annoyance at her stupid question, there is a bright light in the room. "What's that? What's it doing?" She asked again, "I don't know. Getting dressed? Run. Just go. Your back up's coming. We'll be fine, Kate here is my backup." I smirked smugly at the praise, he really knew what to say. "There is no back up." Amelia hissed in annoyance, "I heard you on the radio. You called for back up." I rolled my eyes, she really wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. Why give up your best cover? "I was pretending. It's a pretend radio." Theta scoffed in disbelief at the notion. "You're a policewoman."
"I'm a kissogram!" She takes off her cap and her long red hair falls down. "Ew." Fay and Theta uttered out together causing her to look highly offended, I immediately slapped my hand over my mouth trying my hardest not to burst out laughing. The door falls down to reveal a workman in overalls and toolbelt, with a black dog. "But it's just..." Theta interrupted, "No, it isn't. Look at the faces." The man barks instead of the dog. "What? I'm sorry, but what?" Amelia breathed out in horror, "It's all one creature. One creature disguised as two. Clever old multi-form. A bit of a rush job, though. Got the voice a bit muddled, did you? Mind you, where did you get the pattern from? You'd need a psychic link, a live feed. How did you fix that?" The man in the corridor opens his mouth to reveal the long needle-like teeth. "Stay, boy! The ladies and me, we're safe. Want to know why? She sent for back up." He pointed towards Amelia, "I didn't send for back-up!" She hissed back causing me to groan and Fay to shoot her a look than prompted asked, "Are you stupid?" I immediately placed my hand over my daughters mouth, "Sorry. She's still learning." Amelia scoffed as she glared that two of us, "I know. That was a clever lie to save our lives. Okay, yeah, no back up. And that's why we're safe. Alone, we're not a threat to you. If we had back up, you'd have to kill us. Although, technically Kat..." Before he could finish, a light shined on the house. "Attention, Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded. Attention Prisoner Zero. The human residence is surrounded."
"What's that?" Amelia asked looking towards the sky in confusion, "Well, that would be back up. Okay, one more time. We do have back up and that's definitely why we're safe." He smirked smugly only to pout when the 'backup' continued. "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." I smacked his arm, "Well, safe apart from, you know, incineration. You just had to jinx it." He stuck his tongue out at me causing me to raise an eyebrow, "Careful my love, you know you'll need that later. I suggest you quit being a brat." He froze, his eyes widened as his pupils dilated, my own widening as well. That shocked me, "Yes mommy. I mean ma'am!! Yes ma'am!" We we're now both blushing red as Amelia watched us with a frown. I cleared my throat turning away from him as he whimpered slightly. "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." Theta, still distracted struggles with the sonic screwdriver. "Come on, work, work, work, come on." It wasn't going to do anything. "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." Theta grabbed Fay, pulling her into his arms as he yanked on my hand. "Run! Run!" We rush passed the alien, Amelia letting out a yelp in shock as she followed after us. "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."
"Kissogram?" Theta asked with a disgusted and judgmental looked, causing me to snort as we made our way through the garden towards the Tardis. "Yes, a kissogram. Work through it." She snapped in anger and embarrassment, "Why'd you pretend to be a policewoman?" To impress you, was the first thought rolling through my mind. "You broke into my house. It was this or a French maid. What's going on? Tell me. Tell me!" She might as well have gone with the french maid, with the way she kept looking at him. "An alien convict is hiding in your spare room disguised as a man and a dog, and some other aliens are about to incinerate your house. Any questions?" I asked her in a rush, they always ask too many questions. "Yes." She immediately responded causing me to roll my eyes in exasperation. "Me too. No, no, no, no! Don't do that, not now! It's still rebuilding. Not letting us in." We stand in front of the locked Tardis, no where to go. Theta hands Fay over to me as he notices something. "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." Amelia turns to grab his hand but he immediately snatches it back. "Come on." She snaps in anger, "No, wait, hang on. Wait, wait, wait, wait. The shed. I destroyed that shed last time I was here. Smashed it to pieces." I nodded at him as he turned to check back with me. "So there's a new one. Let's go." Amelia rolled her eyes. "Yeah, but the new one's got old." He licked it causing me to sigh, well that will never change. "It's ten years old at least. Twelve years. I'm not six months late, I'm twelve years late." He yelled out in shock, "He's coming." Fay spoke up as she looked over my shoulder. "You said six months. Why did you say six months? Kate, why did she say six months? Why didn't you tell me?" I shrugged, it wasn't really the time too. "We've got to go, my love. Keep moving as you talk." I told him as I moved behind him to push him forward, "This matters. This is important. Why did you say six months?" Finally, she snapped spinning to face him in anger. "Why did you say five minutes!"
"What?"
"Come on."
"What?"
"Come on!"
"What?"
"Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."
:••:••:••:••:
"You're Amelia."
"And you're late."
"Amelia Pond. You're the little girl."
"I'm Amelia and you're late."
"What happened?"
"Twelve years." I muttered out sarcastically, with an eyeroll. "You hit me with a cricket bat." Theta pouted with a frown, "Twelve years." Amelia snipped in response. "A cricket bat." He snapped, "Twelve years and four psychiatrists." I raised an eyebrow as Fay looked at her. "Four?" Fay asked looking at her like she was insane. "I kept biting them." She muttered out, embarrassed. "Why?" Theta asked in confusion, "They said you weren't real." She uttered out as we met up in town, "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat." It is coming from the Ice cream van speakers. "No, no, no, come on. What? We're being staked out by an ice-cream van." Amelia snapped in annoyance, "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." I sighed, that is really getting annoying. "What's that? Why are you playing that?" Theta asked as we moved towards the truck, he puts Fay down as he reaches for the radio that was playing. "It's supposed to be Claire De Lune." The man spoke in utter confusion, "Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated. Repeat. Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated."
It is also on a jogger's iPod and a woman's mobile phone. "Doctor, what's happening?" Amelia looked towards us as Theta turned towards a house, his eyes lighting up in thought. "Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." The big eyeball is on every channel on the television. An elderly lady keeps jabbing at the remote control. "Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate the human residence or the human residence will be incinerated." We burst into the house, "Hello! Sorry to burst in. We're doing a special on television faults in this area. Also crimes. Let's have a look." Theta moves around the room, checking out the devices such as the tv and radio. "I was just about to phone. It's on every channel. Oh, hello, Amy dear. Are you a policewoman now?" The old lady asked looking up at Amelia in confusion, I snorted slightly. "Well, sometimes." She replied in embarrassment, being caught in her own lies. "I thought you were a nurse." The woman frowned at her, "I can be a nurse." Amelia shrugged back causing me to roll my eyes.
"Or actually a nun?" She continued to question, "I dabble." Amelia shrugged, "I bet." I scoffed out as I crossed my arms in annoyance, was this one gonna be a bitch? Probably. Not that I care. I've gotten sick and tired of caring about what others think of me. The only ones I need approval from are Theta and Fay, and they didn't seem to care. "Amy, who are your friends?" She asked looking towards us, "Who's Amy? You were Amelia." She still is, to me. "Yeah? Now I'm Amy." She snapped in annoyance towards him with a glare. "Amelia Pond. That was a great name." Theta grumbled out as Fay grabbed his leg. "Bit fairy tale, daddy." She looked up at him with a smile, he leaned down with a smile of his own as he kissed her on the forehead. "Your name is fairy tale, my little dove. I love your name." She giggled at her father, who pulled her into a tight hug before picking her up again. "I know you, don't I? I've seen you somewhere before." Theta frowned as the old lady leaned in for a closer look. "Not me. Brand new face First time on. And what sort of job's a kissogram?" He knew what it was, he was more or less wondering why she would do it. Still a little girl in his eyes. "I go to parties and I kiss people. With outfits. It's a laugh." I rolled my eyes again, as Fay and Theta grimaced. "You were a little girl five minutes ago." She scoffed in annoyance at the man, "You're worse than my aunt."
Theta turned towards the old lady, "I'm the Doctor. I'm worse than everybody's aunt. And that is not how I'm introducing myself." He pointed at me as I smirked back in response. I reached to change the radio station, trying to get back on track. "Repetez. Le Prisonnier. Zero wird der menschliche." I raised an eyebrow, looking back at Theta who nodded in response. "Okay, so it's everywhere, in every language. They're broadcasting to the whole world." He looks out of the window. "What's up there? What are you looking for?" Amelia asked, frowning at him. "Okay. Planet this size, two poles, your basic molten core? They're going to need a forty percent fission blast." A young man comes in and Theta speaks to him, I raise an eyebrow at the sight of the man. Flashes running through my brain, first Merlin, now Percival. I wonder if we'll be able to meet Arthur next. "But they'll have to power up first, won't they? So assuming a medium sized starship, that's 20 minutes. What do you think, twenty minutes? Yeah, twenty minutes. We've got twenty minutes." Theta spins around, putting Fay back on the ground. The girl making sure to hold onto her fathers hand, "Twenty minutes to what?" Amelia asked, "Are you the Doctor?" The reincarnation of Percival asked, pointing towards Theta. "He is, isn't he? He's the Doctor! The Raggedy Doctor. All those cartoons you did when you were little. The Raggedy Doctor. It's him. And Her! The witch, and the princess. The sidekicks." I glared in annoyance as Fay pouted in slight hurt. Before we had come back twelve years late, Fay had actually wanted the girl to be her friend. Theta also shot her a glare, his own body tensing at the names.
"Shut up." Amelia hissed in embarrassment and anger at the way Theta was staring her down, he turned towards the other two again. "Cartoons?" He huffed out in slight discomfort, "Gran, it's him, isn't it? It's really him! An her!! Oh my god, I had the biggest crush on her and she's real!" I raised an eyebrow, blushing as Theta gapped at the man giving him a growl. He pulled me into his side, "Jeff, shut up. Twenty minutes to what?" Amelia tried to change the subject as Theta turned to me with a pout, "You're mine." He murmured gently as he rubbed his cheek against mine. I smiled as my hearts soared happily, I loved this man. "The human residence will be incinerated. Repeat." The aliens sadly broke us out of our moment as Fay tugged on our hands. "The human residence. They're not talking about your house, they're talking about the planet. Somewhere up there, there's a spaceship, and it's going to incinerate the planet." I pointed out as Theta nodded along with me. "Twenty minutes to the end of the world."
"Repeat, Prisoner Zero will vacate 'the human residence, or the human residence will be incinerated."
:••:••:••:••:
The four of us are now walking down the middle of the road, mostly in awkward silence somewhat in tense silence as well. "What is this place? Where are we?" Theta asked as he and I swung Fay forwards and back while we walked. "Leadworth." Fay spoke up first as she laughed from the swinging. "Where's the rest of it?" I asked looking around the small town, "This is it." Amelia shrugged as she walked on the other side of Theta. Making sure to steer clear of Fay and I, still embarrassed from earlier.
"Is there an airport?"
"No."
"A nuclear power station?"
"No."
"Even a little one?"
"No."
"Nearest city?" I asked, budding into their back and forth, "Gloucester. Half an hour by car." She responded in kind, with a glare towards me. "We don't have half an hour. Do we have a car?" Fay asked as we finally stopped swinging her, but continued onwards. "No." He sighed, "Well, that's good. Fantastic, that is. Twenty minutes to save the world and I've got a post office. And it's shut. What is that?" He takes off, the three of us following close behind him. "It's a duck pond." Amelia spoke in response with a sarcastic tone and a eye roll. "Why aren't there any ducks?" Fay asked looking towards her father as she bent down to place her hand in the water, Theta immediately stopping her before she could touch it. "I don't know. There's never any ducks." Amelia shrugged with a frown, "Then how do you know it's a duck pond?" I asked her, crossing my arms and cocking my hip out. "It just is. Is it important, the duck pond?"
Theta clutches his chest, his regeneration cycle still moving through his body, mine nearing the end. "I don't know. Why would I know? This is too soon. I'm not ready, I'm not done yet." He smacks his forehead, wincing in response as I sighed. "What's happening? Why's it going dark?" A black disc covers the sun, like a total eclipse. "So what's wrong with the sun?" Amelia asked in confusion, "Nothing. You're looking at it through a forcefield. They've sealed off your upper atmosphere. Now they're getting ready to boil the planet. Oh, and here they come. The human race. The end comes, as it was always going to, down a video phone." Theta muttered out with an eye roll, "This isn't real, is it? This is some kind of big wind up." She laughed half heartedly and shaky. "Why would I wind you up?" He asked her with a frown, he had no reason to wind anyone up. "Why do I need to wind anyone other than you up? Is that a thing? Is there a difference?" I snorted at his train of thought he sent to me in confusion. I shook my head giving him a quick kiss, causing Amelia to frown at us in confusion. "You told me you had a time machine." Amelia snipped trying to interrupt us, "And you believed me." Theta snipped back with a glare.
"Then I grew up." She snarled, "Oh, you never want to do that. No. Hang on. Shut up. Wait. I missed it. I saw it and I missed it. What did I see? I saw. What did I see? I saw, I saw, I saw..." People all over the village green taking photographs of the sun, except duplicate Barney and his dog, and a boy photographing the people. The time is 11:30. "Twenty minutes. I can do it. Twenty minutes, the planet burns. Run to your loved ones and say goodbye, or stay and help me." He spun around, his eyes turning determined. "No." She snapped, "I'm sorry?" We both asked together, him in confusion as I glared in annoyance. "No!" She shouting his face before grabbing his tie pulling him towards a car. "Amy, no, no, what are you doing?" She drags Theta to a car that has just pulled up and slams his tie in the door, then takes the keys from the driver and locks it. "Are you out of your mind?" I snapped in irritation, "Who are you?" She snarled in his face, "You know who I am." He sighs in annoyance, "No, really. Who are you?" I threw my hands up in irritation. "Seriously, Amelia. Look at the sky. End of the world, twenty minutes. We don't have time for your midlife crisis. Release him now, or I will make you and it won't be pretty." I growled, my eyes changing color as my voice grew dark. She stared at me in shock, my body immediately relaxed when Fay grabbed my hand. "It's ok, momma. We've got time. Amelia is human, can't help it. She's an ape." I threw Theta a pointed look who looked like he was trying not to laugh.
Amelia glared at Fay, "Well, better talk quickly, then." She snipped back at me as a old man stood by waiting for his car keys. "Amy, I am going to need my car back." He stated looking between the four of us, "Yes, in a bit. Now go and have coffee." I sighed with a shake of my head, this was getting old. "Right, yes." Mister Henderson does as he is told. "Catch." He tosses her the apple with the face carved in it. It is still fresh. "I'm the Doctor. I'm a time traveller. Everything I told you twelve years ago is true. I'm real. What's happening in the sky is real, and if you don't let me go right now, everything you've ever known is over." He explained as quickly as he could, "I don't believe you." I growled, my eyes flashing as the car keys disappeared from her hands and the door opened. She looked shocked as he released himself and moved to stand by me. "Just twenty minutes. Just believe me for twenty minutes. Look at it. Fresh as the day you gave it to me. And you know it's the same one. Amy, believe for twenty minutes." He then turned away from her, going back to his main attempt. "What do we do?" Amelia started as she moved to follow us. "Stop that nurse." He runs onto the village green and grabs the man's phone.
"The sun's going out, and you're photographing a man and a dog. Why?" Theta asked, snatching the man's phone. "Amy." He uttered out in shock, causing me to raise an eyebrow. "Hi! Oh, this is Rory, he's a friend." Really? "Boyfriend." There it is, here we go. "Kind of boyfriend." Theta gave her a slightly distorted look mixed between disappointment and sadness, Fay just frowned and crossed her arms. "Amy." He spoke towards her, sounding hurt at the implication. I sighed, shaking my head, it was Rose and Mickey all over again. At least Mickey was happy in the end. "Man and dog. Why?" Theta spoke up, trying to change the tense subject. "Oh my God, it's him." Rory breathed out in shock as he pointed towards Theta. "Just answer his question, please." Amelia grumbled, "It's him, though. The Doctor. The Raggedy Doctor. An the sidek..." I held my hand up with a glare causing him to blush a squirm. "Don't even say it. I am not the sidekick and neither is Fay." He gulped before nodding, I frowned slightly as he watched me with a blush. "Yeah, they came back." Amelia shrugged as if it was no big deal. "But they were just a story. He was a game." Rory breathed out in shock, "Man and dog. Why? Tell us now." I demanded, he quickly nodded causing Theta to throw a glare of his own. "Sorry. Because he can't be there. Because he's..." Theta finished with him, "In a hospital, in a coma."
"Yeah." Rory breathed out with another nod, "Knew it. Multiform, you see? Disguise itself as anything, but it needs a life feed. A psychic link with a living but dormant mind." The man barks at us, standing across the yard. Theta moves in front of Fay as I glared at the multiform. "Prisoner Zero." I growled out, "What? There's a Prisoner Zero too?" Rory asked as he spun to face Amelia who cleared her throat and nodded. "Yes." One of the pretty eyeball spaceships comes down. "See, that ship up there is scanning this area for non-terrestrial technology. And nothing says non-terrestrial like a sonic screwdriver." Theta hold up the sonic making all the streetlights explode, the car alarms go off and a poor woman's mobility scooter zoom off down the road. A fire engine goes past on its own, two tone blaring. "Oi, come back here! Come back!"
"I think someone's going to notice, don't you?" He smirks smugly as he winks at me, of course I could bring attention to us but that in itself could cause a lot of trouble as well. He blows up a red telephone box, then the screwdriver explodes. "No, no! No, don't do that!" He drops to the ground trying to pick up the hot melted sonic. "Look, it's going." Rory pointed out as I moved towards Theta and Fay, "No, come back. He's here! Come back! He's here. Prisoner Zero is here. Come back, he's here! Prisoner Zero is..." Prisoner Zero goes squidgy and disappears down a drain cover. "Doctor! The drain. It just sort of melted and went down the drain." He rolled his eyes looking back at her with a snarl. "Well, of course it did. My love, will you?" He pouted at me as he handed me the sonic with a sad yet hopeful look. Letting out a small laugh, I went to grab it, "Wait! Momma, I want to do it! Let me!" I nodded giving the sonic to Fay who cupped it in her hands as closed her eyes. A few seconds later it was gone, "See I'm not a sidekick." She stuck her tongue out at Amelia and Rory who gapped at our daughter.
Theta laughed as he picked her up and spun her around. "What do we do now?" Amelia asked, crossing her arms as she looked between the three of us with a frown. Not liking what she saw apparently, "It's hiding in human form. We need to drive it into the open. No Tardis, no screwdriver, seventeen minutes. Come on, think. Think!" He goes to smack himself but I grabbed his hand before he could, giving it a kiss. He blushed brightly with a little smile, "So that thing, that hid in my house for twelve years?" Amelia asked with a frown, "Multiforms can live for millennia. Twelve years is a pit-stop." I explained to her causing her to look creeped out. "So how come you show up again on the same day that lot do? The same minute!" She snipped in irritation, "They're looking for him, but they followed me. They saw me through the crack, got a fix, they're only late because I am." Rory looked between us in confusion. "What's he on about?" He asked me, I raised an eyebrow in shock. Me? "Nurse boy, give me your phone." I held my hand out for it, he immediately gave it to me with a blush. Theta growled in annoyance and rolled his eyes. "How can he be real? He was never real. He was just a game. We were kids. You made me dress up as him." Rory stated in shock as I handed Theta the phone, he immediately flicks through the images on the iPhone. "These photos, they're are all coma patients?" I asked him, looking up from over Theta's shoulder.
"Yeah." He nodded, "No, they're all the multiform. Eight comas, eight disguises for Prisoner Zero." Theta rambled out, "He had a dog, though. There's a dog in a coma?" Amelia asked causing me to scoff, "Well, the coma patient dreams he's walking a dog, Prisoner Zero gets a dog. Laptop! Your friend, what was his name? Not him, the good-looking one." Theta had spun around to question her, "Thanks." Rory uttered out in sadness, "Jeff." Amelia immediately answered causing me to raise an eyebrow. "Oh, thanks." Rory snipped in sadness, I patted him on the shoulder, "Don't worry, I think your handsome." Theta's head snapped towards me in shock and Amelia glared in anger. "He had a laptop in his bag. A laptop. Big bag, big laptop. I need Jeff's laptop. You two, get to the hospital. Get everyone out of that ward. Clear the whole floor. Phone me when you're done." Theta demanded as he positioned everyone towards where they needed to be. "Your car. Come on." Amelia smacked Rory on the shoulder as Theta led Fay and I back towards the house. "But how can he be here? How can the Doctor be here?"Amelia and Rory get into a proper Mini, not a BMW oversized wannabe.
"Is he really handsome?"
"Yes."
"More than me?"
"Never, my love."
"Ew! Stop it. We're trying to save the world!"
:••:••:••:••:
Jeff is lounging on his bed, using his laptop when the three of us burst into his room. "Hello. Laptop. Give me." Theta practically pounces on the bed to grab the laptop, "No, no, no, no, wait." Jeff panics as his eyes find mine then Fay's and his eyes go even wider in horror. "It's fine. Give it here." Theta snaps in anger, "Hang on! The little girl!" Jeff shouts just as Theta takes the laptop and sees what Jeff was browsing. He pauses, his head immediately turns towards Fay. "Don't look, Blimey. Get a girlfriend, Jeff." Fay frowns but listens to her father as we wait for him to clear whatever was on Jeff's laptop. Mrs Angelo enters, "Gran." Jeff groans in confusion. "What are you doing?" She asked, why do humans have to be so nosy? "The sun's gone wibbly, so right now, somewhere out there, there's going to be a big old video conference call. All the experts in the world panicking at once, and do you know what they need? Me. Ah, and here they all are. All the big boys. NASA, Jodrell Bank, Tokyo Space Centre, Patrick Moore."
"I like Patrick Moore." She smiles at Theta, "I'll get you his number. But watch him, he's a devil. Tried to hit on my Kate." He winks at me causing me to blush at the memory, yeah I won't be showing my face around him anytime soon. Theta made sure to mark his territory with that one. "You can't just hack in on a call like that." Jeff snipped in exasperation. "Can't I?" Six faces come up on the screen, all labelled as above plus ESA and CSIRO. He shows them his psychic paper. "Who are you?" Patrick asked over the call, not recognizing this version of Theta. "This is a secure call, what are you doing here?" Another man asks, "Hello. Yeah, I know you should switch me off, but before you do, watch this." Theta clicks his tongue and winks as Fay moves to sit beside her father. "It's here too, I'm getting it." She watched her father in wonder, "Fermat's Theorem, the proof. And I mean the real one. Never been seen before. Poor old Fermat, got killed in a duel before he could write it down. My fault. I slept in. Oh, and here's an oldie but a goodie. Why electrons have mass. And a personal favourite of mine, faster than light travel with two diagrams and a joke. Look at your screens. Whoever I am, I'm a genius. Look at the sun. You need all the help you can get. Fellas, pay attention." He claps his hands together as Fay smiles excitedly.
"Sir, what are you doing?"
"I'm writing a computer virus. Very clever, super fast, and a tiny bit alive, but don't let on. And why am I writing it on a phone? Never mind, you'll find out. Okay, I'm sending this to all your computers. Get everyone who works for you sending this everywhere. Email, text, Facebook, Bebo, Twitter, radar dish, whatever you've got. Any questions?" By this time, everyone but me was in front of that screen, "Who was your lady friend?" Patrick asked, clearly talking about gran who blushed and waved. "Patrick, behave." Theta snipped, "What does this virus do?" Another voice came over the screen. "It's a reset command, that's all. It resets counters. It gets in the wifi and resets every counter it can find. Clocks, calendars, anything with a chip will default at zero at exactly the same time. But yeah, I could be lying, why should you trust me? I'll let my best man explain." He paused before looking towards Jeff, leaning into whisper at him. "Jeff, you're my best man." Jeff's eyes widen in shock, "You what?" I snorted slightly, "Listen to me. In ten minutes, you're going to be a legend. In ten minutes, everyone on that screen is going to be offering you any job you want. But first, you have to be magnificent. You have to make them trust you and get them working. This is it, Jeff, right here, right now. This is when you fly. Today's the day you save the world."
"Why me?"
"It's your bedroom. Now go, go, go." The three of us immediately take off, Theta stopping in the hall before turning around. "Oh, and delete your internet history." He slams the door with a huff as he turned back to me with a exasperated look and shake of his head. I laughed as he grabbed my hand and we took off once again. As we exited the house, Amelia called Theta. A long pause sounded before Theta sighed "Look in the mirror." Apparently, she forgot she was in a police uniform. Theta's eyes brightened at the sight of a fire tuck, he immediately rushed towards it as I grab Fay following after him. "Don't worry, I've commandeered a vehicle." Halfway there, Amelia calls again. Fay continues to play with the buttons and sirens. "Are you in?" Theta shouts as he hands the phone to me, I immediately put it on speaker. "Yep. But so's Prisoner Zero." She responded immediately, "You need to get out of there." Theta snapped, a long pause was heard with faint voices in the background before we heard Rory gasp. "Oh, my God!" He shouts in horror, "Amy? Amy, what's happening? Amy, talk to me!" Theta shouts in irritation, "We're in the coma ward, but it's here. It's getting in."
"Which window are you?"
"What, sorry?"
"Which window?" Theta asks again, this time in annoyance. "First floor, on the left, fourth from the end." The broom finally gives up, we could hear the woman over the phone. "Oh, dear little Amelia Pond. I've watched you grow up. Twelve years, and you never even knew I was there. Little Amelia Pond, waiting for her magic Doctor to return. But not this time, Amelia." Amy gets a text from Rory's phone. Duck! They do, and the fire engine ladder comes crashing through the window. Theta makes sure to let Fay climb over first then me, also making a comment on my ass to which I sent him a smirk in response. "Right! Hello. Am I late? No, three minutes to go. So still time." He smirked smugly at the clock before turning back to the monster in disguise. "Time for what, Time Lord?" It hissed at him, "Take the disguise off. They'll find you in a heartbeat. Nobody dies." I told her as I crossed my arms in front of me. "The Atraxi will kill me this time. If I am to die, let there be fire." She hissed again, "Okay. You came to this world by opening a crack in space and time. Do it again. Just leave." Theta grumbled out, getting annoyed by this monster. "I did not open the crack." It responded, "Somebody did." Fay spoke up from behind Theta and I, "The cracks in the skin of the universe, don't you know where they came from? You don't, do you?"
She changes to a little girl's voice. "The Doctor and his woman in the Tardis doesn't know. Doesn't know. Doesn't know! And the poor Queen of a dead world, with powers to destroy the very world he protects won't even be able to stop it." And back to the adult voice. "The universe is cracked. The Pandorica will open. Silence will fall." I cocked my head to the side as I glared. "And we're off! Look at that. Look at that!" The clock says 0:00. "Yeah, I know, just a clock. Whatever. But do you know what's happening right now? In one little bedroom, my team are working. Jeff and the world. And do you know what they're doing? They're spreading the word all over the world, quantum fast. The word is out. And do you know what the word is? The word is Zero. Now, me, if I was up in the sky in a battleship, monitoring all Earth communications, I'd probably take that as a hint. And if I had a whole battle fleet surrounding the planet, I'd be able track a simple old computer virus to its source in, what, under a minute? The source, by the way, is right here." There is a bright light outside. "Oh! And I think they just found us!"
"The Atraxi are limited. While I'm in this form, they'll still be unable to detect me. They've tracked a phone, not me." Theta smirked smugly causing me to smirk myself, I loved it when he showed off. "Yeah, but this is the good bit. I mean, this is my favourite bit. Do you know what this phone is full of? Pictures of you. Every form you've learned to take, right here. Ooo, and being uploaded about now. And the final score is, no Tardis, no screwdriver, two minutes to spare. Who da man?!" Everyone paused to stare at him as I smile brightly while Fay jumped up and down excitedly. "Dad is!" She cheered causing him to smile down at her before he picked her up and spun her around. "Then I shall take a new form." The creature hissed in anger, "Oh, stop it. You know you can't. It takes months to form that kind of psychic link." Theta snarled back with an eye roll, "And I've had years." Amy collapses, "No! Amy? You've got to hold on. Amy? Don't sleep! You've got to stay awake, please."
"Doctor." Prisoner Zero has transformed into a gangly man with a ripped shirt and floppy hair. I raise an eyebrow at the confusion on Theta's face, did he really not look at himself while we were in the Tardis. He could've taken a second to a least look like I did, "Well, that's rubbish. Who's that supposed to be?" He asked me with a pout on his face. "It's you." I spoke with a monotone voice, "Me? Is that what I look like? Do you like it?" I went to response, my heart pounding at his question. Of course I liked it. He my man, how could I not like it. "You don't know?" Rory asked from behind us, interrupting us with his own confusion. "Busy day. Why me, though? You're linked with her. Why are you copying me?" A little girl comes from around a curtain and holds the duplicate's hand. "I'm not. Poor Amy Pond. Still such a child inside. Dreaming of the magic Doctor she knows will return to save her. What a disappointment you've been." She smirked eyeing me as well as if she knew something I didn't. Although, I already knew how the woman felt about the love of my life. I usually always did, it wasn't hard to figure out.
"No, she's dreaming about me because she can hear me. Amy, don't just hear me, listen. Remember the room, the room in your house you couldn't see. Remember you went inside. I tried to stop, but you did. You went in the room. You went inside. Amy, dream about what you saw." I raised an eyebrow at him, he was actually correct. "No. No. No!" She transforms into a slimy snake looking creature. "Well done, Prisoner Zero. A perfect impersonation of yourself." I smirked towards the ugly alien that hissed at me in response. "Prisoner Zero is located. Prisoner Zero is restrained." A light shined, locking prisoner zero within the beam. "Silence, Doctor. Silence will fall and so will she."
Prisoner Zero disappears in a rush of wind, and Amy slowly starts to wake. "The sun. It's back to normal, right? That's, that's good, yeah? That means it's over." Amy moves around as Theta stands up with an annoyed look on his face. "Amy. Are you okay? Are you with us?" Rory asked, Fay watching the sky with a frown before looking up at her father. "What happened?" Amy asked as she sat up, "He did it. The Doctor did it." Theta shook his head at Rory's words. "No, I didn't." He turns and snatches Rory's phone from his hand.
"What are you doing?"
"Tracking the signal back. Sorry in advance."
"About what?"
"The bill."
Theta phones the Atraxi, "Oi, I didn't say you could go! Article fifty seven of the Shadow Proclamation. This is a fully established level five planet, and you were going to burn it? What? Did you think no-one was watching? You lot, back here, now. Okay, now I've done it." God, he's so sexy. I pouted slightly at the thought that I couldn't have him for a good minute. I really wanted to test these bodies out, "Did he just bring them back? Did he just save the world from aliens and then bring all the aliens back again?" Rory asked in shock as he looked between us, Theta just took off with the rest of us following behind. "Where are you going?" Amy asked running after us, "The roof. No, hang on." He enters a men's locker room, "What's in here?" I rolled my eyes at her obvious question. "I'm saving the world - I need a decent shirt. To hell with the raggedy. Time to put on a show." I whimpered slightly in exasperation, he just had to tease like that. He shot me a wink, I huffed in response, "Tease." I hissed towards him in his mind, he just laughed. "You just summoned aliens back to Earth. Actual aliens, deadly aliens, aliens of death, and now you're taking your clothes off. Amy, he's taking his clothes off." Rory spun Fay around before me, I smiled at him in gratitude. "Turn your back if it embarrasses you." I smacked him, he grumbled something before he continued. "Are you stealing clothes now? Those clothes belong to people, you know." He turns to Amy, "Are you not going to turn your back?" He asked her with a slight look on his face, "No." I cleared my throat before grabbing her arms and turning her around. She growled in annoyance as I glared at the back of her head. This time it was Rory who looked grateful as he nodded back at me.
:••:••:••:••:
Theta walks out in a new shirt with several ties draped around his neck. The Atraxi is hovering overhead, "So this was a good idea, was it? They were leaving." Amelia snipped in annoyance, "Leaving is good. Never coming back is better. Come on, then! The Doctor will see you now." The eyeball drops onto the roof and scans the three of us, "You are not of this world." It annoyances loudly? "No, but I've put a lot of work into it." He looks at his selection of ties. "Oh, hmm, I don't know. What do you think?" He asked Fay who shook head head with a grimace, he nod's throwing it behind him at Amelia. "Is this world important?" I scoffed at the question, "Important? What's that mean, important? Six billion people live here. Is that important? Here's a better question. Is this world a threat to the Atraxi? Well, come on. You're monitoring the whole planet. Is this world a threat?" I asked with a pointed look as I crossed my arms. There is a projection of the world between us, "No." It responds, "Are the peoples of this world guilty of any crime by the laws of the Atraxi?" I asked again, "No." It replies instantly. "Okay. One more. Just one. Is this world protected? Because you're not the first lot to come here. Oh, there have been so many." The projection shows the Daleks eta, before it moves to my recent regenerations, "And what you've got to ask is, what happened to them?" A run through of all the previous Doctors, then this Doctor steps through the projection with a jacket and bow tie. "Hello. I'm the Doctor. This is my beautiful Kate. Basically, run." The eyeball zooms back to its ship and leaves, very fast. There is a brief materialisation sound, then Theta takes a glowing Tardis key out of his new jacket pocket. "Is that it? Is that them gone for good? Who were they?" We are already gone and down the stairs and running out of the hospital.
The Tardis is waiting for us, Fay yell's excitedly. "Okay, what have you got for us this time?" He moves to open the door, "Look at you. Oh, you sexy thing! Look at you."
Amy and Rory run up just at it dematerializes.

Night time.
The sound of the Tardis wakes Amelia up, and she quickly rushes to the window. After staring out at the TARDIS for a second, she takes off her wedding ring and runs outside.
We watch as the redhead comes rushing out, her eyes slightly dimming at the sight of Fay and I still standing next to Theta. "Sorry about running off earlier. Brand new Tardis. Bit exciting. Just had a quick hop to the moon and back to run her in. She's ready for the big stuff now." He taps the side of Sexy, "It's you. You came back." She breathed out in shock, "Course I came back. I always come back. Something wrong with that?" He asked looking towards me in confusion, I raise an eyebrow. "If you ever leave me behind again, I'll kick your ass. You always come back for us. No matter what." He nods immediately with a satisfied smile. "And you kept the clothes." Amelia judged with a frown, "Well, I just saved the world. The whole planet, for about the millionth time, no charge. Yeah, shoot me. I kept the clothes." I cleared my throat as I slightly sniffed the air, I thinks it's a bit longer than before again. "Including the bow tie." She snipped sarcastically, "Yeah, it's cool. Bow ties are cool. Fay said so." He fixed his bow tie, looking down at our daughter who nodded in approval. "Are you from another planet?" Amelia asked looking between the three of us, her eyes slowly moving down towards my hand. Finally realization dawned on her, and a look of hurt ran across her face as she noticed my wedding ring.
She suddenly glared and a look of determination appeared on her face causing me to raise an eyebrow.
So that was how this was gonna be.
"Yeah."
"Okay."
"So what do you think?"
"Of what?"
"Other planets. Want to check some out?"
"What does that mean?"
"It means. Well, it means come with us." Theta shrugged as if it was no big deal but she immediately perked up, she thought this was a sign. "Where?" She asked crossing her arms, "Wherever you like." Theta spoke as he grabbed my hand, clearly picking up on her signals. "All that stuff that happened. The hospital, the spaceships, Prisoner Zero." She paused, her face turning serious. "Oh, don't worry, that's just the beginning. There's loads more." He spoke smugly, "Yeah, but those things, those amazing things, all that stuff. That was two years ago." She shouted, I smirked slightly as Theta huffed. "Oh. Oops." He shrugged, couldn't change it now. Might as well get over it, Amelia. "Yeah." She breathed out, almost as if she was expecting some different reaction. "So that's..." He uttered out slowly, "Fourteen years!" She snipped, right. Fourteen years, this girl has been chasing after my husband thinking he likes her but in reality he still sees her as the seven year old girl we originally met. That wouldn't change. "Fourteen years since fish custard. Amy Pond, the girl who waited, you've waited long enough." He told her gently, feeling sorry for the kid. "When I was a kid, you said there was a swimming pool and a library, and the swimming pool was in the library." She pointed out causing him to shrug. "Yeah. Not sure where it's got to now. It'll turn up. So, coming?"
"No."
"You wanted to come fourteen years ago."
"I grew up."
"Don't worry. I'll soon fix that." He opens the Tardis door allowing Fay and I in first, Fay runs around with laughter. Amelia and Theta soon follow in after us, "Well? Anything you want to say? Any passing remarks? I've heard them all." He asked spinning around and raising his arms, "I'm in my nightie." I frowned at her, was that really her passing remark? "Oh, don't worry. Plenty of clothes in the wardrobe." Theta grumbled out as he picked Fay up to sit her on the console. "And possibly a swimming pool. So, all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will. Where do you want to start?" He asked turning to look between us, "You are so sure that I'm coming." I sighed, sadly we both knew she was coming. "Yeah, I am." He muttered out, "Why?" She asked with a cock of her head in confusion. "Cause you're the Scottish girl in the English village, and I know how that feels." He did, we both did and since Fay was the last timebaby, so did she. We all knew the feeling of being an outcast, "Oh, do you?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "All these years living here, most of your life, and you've still got that accent. Yeah, you're coming."
"Can you get me back for tomorrow morning?" I cocked my head to the side as I eyed her, "It's a time machine. I can get you back five minutes ago. Why, what's tomorrow?" She cleared her throat with a shake of her head. "Nothing. Nothing. Just you know, stuff." Clearly it wasn't just stuff, my eyes moved towards her figured where I saw it. The faint impression of a ring, she was getting married tomorrow and yet here she was lying to us. "All right, then. Back in time for stuff." A sonic screwdriver rises from a slot in the console. "Oh! A new one! Lovely. Thanks, dear." Theta uses an old typewriter wired into the console, "What's tomorrow, you know. Don't you, my love?" I gave him a look before nodding, "I'll tell you later." He sighed before nodding back in response. "Why me?" She asked breaking up our mental conversation. "Why not?" Theta asked with a shrug, "No, seriously. You are asking me to run away with you in the middle of the night. It's a fair question. Why me?" I scoffed, it wasn't just him. "I don't know. Fun. Do I have to have a reason?" He snipped in annoyance at the red head, "People always have a reason."
"Do I look like people?"
"Yes."
"Been knocking around on our own for a while. Our choice, but I've started talking to myself all the time. It's giving me earache. Beside, I originally came back for seven year old you, for Fay. She needed a friend." Amelia looked hurt as she slightly shot Fay a glare. "Y'all are lonely. That's it? Just that?" She asked cocking her head, "Just that. Promise." He smiled at me with a gentle look in his eyes. "Okay." She muttered out slightly upset, she thought there would be another reason. "So, are you okay, then? Because this place, sometimes it can make people feel a bit, you know." He paused, picking Fay up and putting her on the ground causing her to go take off and explore. "I'm fine. It's just, there's a whole world in here, just like you said. It's all true. I thought. Well, I started to think that maybe you were just like a madman with a box." He let out a boastful laugh, "Amy Pond, there's something you'd better understand about me, because it's important, and one day your life may depend on it. I am definitely a madman with a box. Ha ha! Yeah. Goodbye Leadworth, hello everything." He sets the Tardis in flight.
I frowned as I watched her, she eyed him with a smirk but I still couldn't get the voices out of my head. I don't know if I can handle this for very long, I didn't want her around my daughter, my husband or even myself.

So, I'm in a mood and so is Kate, I've decided to make her a little bit bitchy to start off. This is gonna be her dark era, her sixth was her weak era, seventh was insecure, with eight as happy, but now she's gonna go dark. Many things will happen with this Kate, starting out with me regeneration and being shot by the master. Now it's visions and Amelia, soon it will be something more.
I just got eight teeth pulled, I'm now single and I'm irritated with certain things on here. So her mood is my mood right now.
Anyway, thank you all for the love and support! I appreciate it!
I've also think I've come to the decision to just for now work on this story, if I get motivated for my others, I will work on those but for now this is my main one.
If you don't like it, go away.
Thank you!!
I love you all!
I really do.
