{"Of course, it's you. River Song."}

Fay and I followed happily after Theta as he ran between the cases of the museum while commenting on the labelling of the various exhibits. I had changed once again, wearing a dark blue beanie over my red hair. Fay was in a little white sundress, it had flowers all over it. Theta had happily complemented our daughter, before giving me a once over and groaning in approval. Sadly, we have had time to break in these new bodies, with Amelia either bothering Theta or Fay following us around. I ain't complaining about her though, I definitely am complaining about Amelia.

"Wrong. Wrong. Bit right, mostly wrong. I love museums, not as much as my girls though." He winked at us causing Fay to giggle as he rushed to pick her up and spin her around. "Yeah, great. Can we go to a planet now? Big space ship? Churchill's bunker? You promised me a planet next." Amelia complained, ignoring us. Theta sighed as he held Fay on his hip, "Amelia, this isn't any old asteroid. It's the Delerium Archive, the final resting place of the headless monks. The biggest museum ever." I explained to her causing her to roll her eyes at me. "You've got a time machine. What do you need museums for?" My eyebrow twitched in annoyance as did my fingers at the girl. Easy, Kate. Easy. "Wrong. Very wrong. Ooo, one of mine. Also one of mine." Theta continued onwards with Fay as we followed behind. My face pulled back up into a smile as I watched him happily with our daughter. Everyday he gives me a reason to love him, "Oh, I see. It's how you keep score." Amelia teased, Theta is glaring at a square box in a case. I frowned making my way over to it, I could feel something slightly snap as I read the words. Theta gently moved me back noticing the glow my hands started to give off. "Oh great, an old box." For once, I agree with Amelia.

"It's from one of the old starliners. A Home Box." Theta spoke out loud. "What's a Home Box?" Amelia asked causing me to turn to her, "Like a black box on a plane, except it homes. Anything happens to the ship, the Home Box flies home with all the flight data." I explained to her, "So?" Amelia questioned with a scoff, "The writing, the graffiti. Old High Gallifreyan. The lost language of the Time Lords. There were days, there were many days, these words could burn stars and raise up empires, and topple gods." I growled lowly at the words, how the hell did she know Gallifreyen language. She just kept giving me more reasons to hate her, "What does it say?" She asked looking at our expressions. "Hello, sweetie." I smash the glass around the box since Theta was holding Fay causing an alarm to sound. We quickly take off as guards chase us back to the Tardis.

"Why are we doing this?" Amelia asked the same thing I was wondering out loud. "Because someone on a spaceship twelve thousand years ago is trying to attract my attention. Let's see if we can get the security playback working. Theta has stolen the Home Box, now we are all criminals. He connected it to the console, and the playback shows River Song winking at the camera. "Of course, it's you. River Song." I hissed, my eyes flash as my hands spark the console causing the Tardis to start to shake. Theta immediately spins me around and pins me against it, my hands on his shoulders. My eyes widen as he pulls me into a deep kiss before he pulls away with a smirk. This bastard was trying to distract me and it was working!

"The party's over, Doctor Song. Yet still you're on board." A man spoke, causing us to break away from one another.

Fay wasn't paying any attention to us, more focused on the Barbie she was playing with. Amelia, however was going between us and the screen with a glare. "Sorry, Alistair. I needed to see what was in your vault. Do you all know what's down there? Any of you? Because I'll tell you something. This ship won't reach its destination." The annoyance smirks as she pulls down her glasses, "Wait till she runs. Don't make it look like an execution." Alistair demands to the men behind him, "Triple seven five. Slash three four nine by ten. Zero twelve slash acorn. Oh, and I could do with an air corridor." Theta scoffs with an eye roll as he reluctantly inputs the coordinates, "She's not getting an air corridor." He stated with a growl as I laughed a little. "What was that? What did she say?" Amelia asked, following him around the console as he slides around to input everything. "Coordinates." We all tell her together, "Like I said on the dance floor, you might want to find something to hang on to." River is standing in front of an airlock. She blows a kiss and it opens. Alistair and his guards hang onto rails as River is sucked out, backwards. The Tardis materializes in her flight path with no air corridor but Theta and Amelia rush towards the door. "Whoo!" He opens the door, and River Song comes sailing in. She barely misses the Doctor as he sidesteps causing her to land on Amelia instead who squeaks in shock.

"Doctor?" Amelia and River shout in anger and annoyance at him but he just bounces towards me with a smile. Like a child who did something good, which he did; so I gave him a nice long kiss. River immediately scoffed as she moved past us, "Follow that ship." She demands, and we albeit reluctantly do. "They've gone into warp drive. We're losing them. Stay close." River growls out in annoyance. "I'm trying." Theta snaps back causing Fay to look up,

"Use the stabilizers, daddy." She speaks up, River jumping at the sound of her voice. Her eyes darkening at the sight of her, like she already hated me; why would she need to hate Fay? "There aren't any stabilizers." He tells her gently, "The blue switches." I tell him, he pauses before pouting. "Oh, the blue ones don't do anything, they're just blue." He whined out, I snorted with a shake of my head. He knows exactly what they are, he just didn't want to use them. "Yes, they're blue. Look, they're the blue stabilizers." I gave him a pointed look as I press them and the Tardis stops shaking. "See, my love? I know you know what they are, you make a point not to press them." I gave him a look, he continued to pout as he moved over to me. "Yeah. Well, it's just boring now, isn't it? They're boring-ers. They're blue boring-ers." He grumbled as his arm went around my waist.

I hummed gently as he pulled me close, "Mom, you need to fly. Stop letting daddy distract you." I moved away from Theta as Fay made a valid point. "Yes, sorry." I noticed Amelia and River were standing off to the side glaring at us in annoyance. "Okay. I've mapped the probability vectors, done a fold-back on the temporal isometry, charted the ship to its destination, and parked us right along side." I winked at Theta who blushed brightly before giving me a face. "Parked us? We haven't landed." I raised an eyebrow back, my smirk still intact. "Of course we've landed, my love. I just landed her." He grumbled again, "But, it didn't make the noise. You know, the..." He starts to wheeze as he moved over to tickle Fay who was already laughing at her father. "Yes, but we both know the only reason it makes that noise is because I let you leave the breaks on." I point out.

"Yeah, well, it's a brilliant noise. I love that noise." I snorted, "Fine." I flip a switch, "There. Now, the breaks are on. Happy?" He came back over to me with Fay in his arms. "Very." He kissed me again before grabbing my hand and moving us towards the door. "Come along, Pond. Let's have a look." He insisted with a smile, "No, wait. Environment checks." River stated as she moved towards the console causing me to frown. "Oh yes, sorry. Quite right. Environment checks." Theta opens the Tardis door and looks out, "Nice out." He spits out sarcastically, as she tried to touch the console only for it to shock her. She glared at it harshly, before grabbing her shoes that she had thrown down and coming over to us. "We're somewhere in the Garn Belt. There's an atmosphere. Early indications suggest that..." She had started to say after pulling out her hand held scanner only to be interrupted by Theta. "We're on Alfava Metraxis, the seventh planet of the Dundra System. Oxygen rich atmosphere, all toxins in the soft band, eleven hour day and chances of rain later." He winked at me as Fay laughed.

"He thinks he's so hot when he does that." Amelia giggles like a school girl as we step out, "Right then, why did they land here?" She asked, still looking down at her scanner. "They didn't land." I stated, "Sorry?" She snipped back in response, "You should've checked the Home Box. It crashed." River sighs, moving further away from the Tardis as we head back inside. "Explain. Who is that and how did she do that museum thing?" I rolled my eyes, like we had to explain. Why does every companion demand we explain?! "It's a long story and I don't know most of it. Off we go." Theta speaks as he sets Fay down on the chair and moves to start sexy up again. "What are you doing?" Amelia asked with a frown. "Leaving. She's got where she wants to go, let's go where we want to go." Theta shrugged, "Are you basically running away?" Amelia asked with raised eye brow.

"Yep."

"Why?"

"Because she's the future. Our future. My family's future and I don't like how things are going. Kate doesn't like it either. It's dangerous. She's dangerous."

"Can you run away from that?"

"I can run away from anything I like. Time is not the boss of me."

He honestly sounded like a child, but I'm the one who loves him. "Hang on, is that a planet out there?" Theta groans in annoyance, "Yes, of course it's a planet." Fay tells her as she kicks her feet back and forth. "You promised me a planet. Five minutes?" They have a stare down before he looks towards me. I nod lightly, and he bows his head with a sigh. "Okay, five minutes." She squeals, "Yes!" She quickly takes off, Fay slowly trailing behind her. "But that's all, because I'm telling you now, that woman is not dragging me into anything." He paused looking towards me, he moves over to pull me close. "You know, we haven't had time with these bodies. Wanna go fool around for a bit them come back?" He grunts as he pulls my body impossibly close to his, his tongue dragging along my neck causing me to moan. "As much as I would love too, we can't. You and I both know, there is something out there that needs fixing. Besides, we have all the time in the world." I muttered gently as I ran my hand through his hair.

He sighs lowly as his shoulders sagged, "I suppose so. Alright, come on! Our daughter is waiting for us anyway." He spins me around causing me to laugh before he drags me out the door. The once sleek spaceship is a burning wreck sticking out of a rock-carved building. "What caused it to crash?" Amelia asked as we moved to stand next to them, Fay immediately moving towards her father. "Not me." River grumbled out, "Nah, the airlock would've sealed seconds after you blew it. According to the Home Box, the warp engines had a phase shift. No survivors." Theta spoke, crossing his arms with a confused frown; also wondering why it crashed. "A phase shift would have to be sabotage." I stated with a sigh, "I did warn them." River mused with a smirk, I scoffed. "About what?" Theta asked, looking towards her with a raised eyebrow. "Well, at least the building was empty. Aplan temple. Unoccupied for centuries."

"Aren't you going to introduce us?" Amelia demanded with a smirk as she gently bumped him. Theta groaned in annoyance as I looked away from them, "Amy Pond, Professor River Song." River gasped, spinning to face us. "Ah, I'm going to be a Professor some day, am I? How exciting. Spoilers." She winked, Amelia giggled as she watched them. "Yeah, but who is she and how did she do that? She just left you a note in a museum." Amelia asked with a raised eyebrow, trying to whisper but River still heard her. "Two things always guaranteed to show up in a museum. The Home Box of category four starliner and sooner or later, him. It's how he keeps score." I scoffed with another eye roll, I don't think I've ever done it so much before. Ok, that's a lie, Rose really brought the eye roll outta me. "I know." Amelia mussed lowly, "It's hilarious, isn't it?" River smirked smugly towards me as Theta picked up Fay once more with a frown. When he was worried or angry, he seemed to want Fay in his arms more. He's always wanted her in his arms, ever since she was born. I think he stayed up with her and took care of her more than I did. That wasn't because I didn't love her or didn't care, Theta just needed to hold her. He needs her, just as I need them both.

"I'm nobody's taxi service. I'm not going to be there to catch you every time you feel like jumping out of a space ship." Theta snarled with a glare, but she just smirked in return. "And you are so wrong. There's one survivor. There's a thing in the belly of that ship that can't ever die. Now their listening." River uses her communicator, she was right; now we were actually paying attention. "You lot in orbit yet? Yeah, I saw it land. I'm at the crash site. Try and home in on my signal. Doctor, can you sonic me? I need to boost the signal so we can use it as a beacon." He does, grudgingly. "Ooo, Doctor, you sonicked her." Theta shot her a glare as he used one arm to hold Fay and the other to point at Amelia. "Don't. Shut it." She flinched slightly at his tone before nodding with a pinch of her lips. "Sorry." She murmured, "We have a minute. Shall we?" She pulls out an old ragged, brown book and starts slipping through the pages. "Where are we up to? Have we done the Bone Meadows?"

"What's the book?"

"Stay away from it."

"What is it though?"

"Her diary."

"Our diary."

"Your diary. Her past, my future. Time travel. We keep meeting in the wrong order."

Four small tornadoes kick up the dust and turn into four soldiers. "You promised me an army, Doctor Song." The leader stated as he met up with us, "No, I promised you the equivalent of an army. This is the Doctor." Theta scoffed as he moved around me, "I'm not the only one, if anything that's my dear lovely Kate. The best and only army. An army of one my woman, she is." Theta kissed me quickly as he finished off his ramble. I let out a small laugh as I shook my head, River and Amelia both grunted in annoyance. "Father Octavian, Ma'am, Sir. Bishop, second class. Twenty clerics at my command. The troops are already in the drop ship and landing shortly. Doctor Song was helping us with a covert investigation." He shook our hands as Theta finally put Fay down, Octavian frowning at the sight. "Has Doctor Song explained what we're dealing with?" He asked, seemingly baffled that we would bring our daughter along. His reaction immediately made me glare towards her, she just smirked in response. "Oops. Doctor, what do you know of the Weeping Angels?"

I'm really gonna kill her.

:••:••:••:••:

Night has fallen and the rest of the troops have arrived with their supplies in a small drop ship, like a container unit. They have set up camp around it, "The Angel, as far as we know, is still trapped in the ship. Our mission is to get inside and neutralise it. We can't get through up top, we'd be too close to the drives. According to this, behind the cliff face there's a network of catacombs leading right up to the temple. We can blow through the base of the cliffs, get into the entrance chamber, then make our way up." The five of us ended up around a table, Theta placing Fay on top to sit upon it. After he reamed River a new one about not letting us know, he then turned to Octavian and told him Fay would be following us in. No one better could keep her safe, we trusted her with Martha or Donna but she was safe with us. "Oh, good." Theta laughs with a smile.

"Good, sir?" Octavian asked looking towards him confused, "Catacombs. Probably dark ones. Dark catacombs. Great. Spots to get lost, together." He winked at me, Octavian immediately frowning in disappointment and disbelief at the suggestion. I however gave Theta a smirk in response, sending him a quick reply. "If we're quick about it. I'm not wearing anything underneath." Theta immediately flushed red, causing me to laugh. It wasn't technically true, I was wearing something but they were very line layers underneath. Octavian clears his throat with a disapproving frown, "Technically, I think it's called a maze of the dead." He spoke up, "You can stop any time you like." Theta snapped in response, Fay playing with the gadgets on the table. "Father Octavian?" A soldier from afar yells out, "Excuse me, sir." Octavian leaves. "You're letting people call you sir. You never do that." I scoff, she's only been with us for a few days. We've taken her on two trips, how the hell does she know what he does and doesn't let other call him. I swear, she was just like River. It was highly annoying, "So, whatever a Weeping Angel is, it's really bad, yeah?" She asked as he too started to mess with the gadgets on the table.

"Now that's interesting. You're still here. Which part of wait in the Tardis till I tell you it's safe was so confusing?"

"Ooo, you are all Mister Grumpy Face today."

"A Weeping Angel, Amy, is the deadliest, most powerful, most malevolent life form evolution has ever produced, and right now one of them is trapped inside that wreckage and I'm supposed to climb in after it with a screwdriver and a torch, and assuming I survive the radiation long enough and assuming the whole ship doesn't explode in my face, do something incredibly clever which I haven't actually thought of yet. That's my day. That's what I'm up to. Any questions?" Theta asked after his rant as he spun around to face the other redhead. "Is River Song your wife? Because she's someone from your future, and the way she talks to you, I've never seen anyone do that. She's kind of like, you know, heel, boy. I mean other than, Kate. How many wives can you have? Is Kate you're wife too? She's Mrs Doctor from the future, isn't she? Is she going to be your wife one day?" An explosion was heard from behind us as Theta immediately moved to grip my hands. He turns to her with a snarl, "Yes, you're right. I am definitely Mister Grumpy Face today. No, she isn't my wife, she's nobody. You stay away from her, Amelia Pond. Kate is my love. She is my soul and my heart, my wife and I think it would be in your best interest to stay away from those thoughts and River all together. Kate doesn't trust and neither should you." Theta hissed out in absolute anger, she had backed away as he moved in on her, her eyes widening in slight fear from his tone of voice. She paused, before nodding causing him to move back over to me and Fay, Fay watching her with a cock of her head.

"Momma, is she stupid?" Fay whispers into my ear, clearly still not low enough seeming as Theta snorted and Amelia gapped in annoyance. She was about to say something but River calls from the drop module, saved by the devil. She has changed into combat fatigues, her face pulled up into a smirk. "Doctor! Doctor?" He groans as he grabs Fay's hand and pulls her along, "Oops. Her indoors." Another explosion rings out, and I pause, turning to look in the direction of the explosions. My eyes widening at the sight, it was an area were no one was trying to get through. I look down at my hands with a sigh, Theta knew but I didn't even notice that I was the one setting off the explosions. Subconsciously, I made sure to do it away from people; at least that part of me still worked. "Kate?" I turned to face Theta and Fay who were waiting for me. "Coming." I moved forwards, placing my hands on my sweater pockets as I did so. "Father Octavian." River called out, as we caught up with Amelia, "Why do they call him Father?" She asked, "He's their Bishop, they're his Clerics. It's the fifty first Century. The Church has moved on."

:••:••:••:••:

A grainy image of a Weeping Angel with its back towards them is on a monitor on the far wall. I frowned as I looked at it, "What do you think? It's from the security cameras in the Byzantium vault. I ripped it when I was on board. Sorry about the quality. It's four seconds. I've put it on loop." She smirked smugly, "Yeah, it's an Angel. Hands covering its face." Theta states as he gently pushes Fay back outside, telling her to stay so she wasn't in danger. You can never know with Angels, "You've encountered the Angels before?" Octavian muttered looking between us. "Once, on Earth, a long time ago. Fay wasn't even born, Kate was pregnant with her. But those were scavengers, barely surviving." Theta explained, that was with Martha. We should really get in touch with her once again, "But it's just a statue." Amelia stated with a halfhearted laugh. "It's a statue when you see it." River uttered out, "Where did it come from?" I asked with a frown.

"Oh, pulled from the ruins of Razbahan, end of last century. It's been in private hands ever since. Dormant all that time." River explained towards me, albeit reluctantly. "There's a difference between dormant and patient." I state with a raised eyebrow, "What's that mean, it's a statue when you see it?" Amelia asked again, "The Weeping Angels can only move if they're unseen. So legend has it." River uttered out. "No, it's not legend, it's a quantum lock. In the sight of any living creature the Angels literally cease to exist." He accidentally rips a piece of the ship off, causing Amelia to snort and River to roll her eyes. I shook my head with a smile, dork. "They're just stone. The ultimate defence mechanism." He grumbled as he threw it away, "What, being a stone?" Amelia scoffed, "Being a stone until you turn your back." We all move to leave.

"The hyperdrive would've split on impact. That whole ship's going to be flooded with drive burn radiation, cracked electrons, gravity storms. Deadly to almost any living thing." Theta speaks as Octavian comes up beside him, "Deadly to an Angel?" He asked causing me to scoff and cross my arms. "Dinner to an Angel. The longer we leave it there, the stronger it will grow. Who built that temple? Are they still around?" I asked looking at everyone for an answer. "The Aplans. Indigenous life form. They died out four hundred years ago." River spoke up, I nodded in response. "Two hundred years later, the planet was terraformed. Currently there are six billion human colonists." Theta smiles in excitement as he claps his hands together. "Whoo! You lot, you're everywhere. You're like rabbits. I'll never get done saving you." He winks at me, I shook my head in amusement. Fay bounds over to a table, and picks up a book. "Sir, if there is a clear and present danger to the local population..." Octavian trails off, "Oh, there is. Bad as it gets. Bishop, lock and load." Theta demands causing the man to nod and move off. "Verger, how are we doing with those explosives? Doctor Song, with me."

"Two minutes. Sweetie, I need you." Theta paused with a frown, scoffing as he glared at the nickname. "Sweetie? Don't call me, sweetie." He growls out as he follows after her towards Fay and the table. "Anybody need me? Nobody?" Amelia goes back into the Module and looks at the image of the Angel on the monitor. I sighed as I made my way towards the table as well, I really didn't like this. "I found this. Definitive work on the Angels. Well, the only one. Written by a madman. It's barely readable, but I've marked a few passages." Theta riffles through the pages of the book. "Not bad. Bit slow in the middle. No. No, hang on. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait." He sniffs the book and Amelia pops her head out, looking towards us. "Doctor Song? Did you have more than one clip of the Angel?" River snapped out of her daze from staring at my husband, said man wasn't paying any attention to her. To busy with the book, and looking to see if Fay and I were ok. "No, just the four seconds." She yells back, "This book is wrong. What's wrong with this book? It's wrong." Amelia frowns slightly before popping back inside, "It's so strange when you go all baby face. How early is this for you?" I scoffed, baby faced? Really? She starts flipping through her books. "Very early." He snips in response.

"So you don't know who I am yet?" She asked, seemingly perking up as she moved in slightly closer to him. "How do you know who I am? I don't always look the same." He asked her with a glare, "I had pictures of all your faces. You never show up in the right order, though. I needed the spotter's guide. To bad, they were destroyed, even the copies I made disappeared." She shot me a glare, and suddenly I was smirking devilish at her. Good job, future me. She growls as she watches Theta give me a kiss on the cheek in front of her. "Pictures. Why aren't there pictures? This whole book, it's a warning about the Weeping Angels, so why no pictures? Why not show us what to look out for?" I frowned as I looked over his shoulder again. "There was a bit about images. What was that?" I asked him, gently. "Yes. Genius, my love. Hang on." He flips the book and reads, "That which holds the image of an angel becomes itself an angel." Theta frowns as Fay jumps down from the table. "What does that mean? An image of a Angel becomes itself an Angel."

A image of the angel is inside, "Doctor! It's in the room!" Fay takes off towards the ship, finally we heard Amelia shouting and quickly follow after her. "Amy!" River looks panicked, as Thera tries to get the door open. "Doctor!" Amelia continues to shout, "Are you all right? What's happening?" He asked her as he banged on the door. "Doctor? Doctor, it's coming out of the television. The Angel is here." Theta sonics the keypad lock. "Don't take your eyes off it. Keep looking. It can't move if you're looking."

"What's wrong?"

"Deadlocked."

"There is no deadlock."

"Don't blink, Amy. Don't even blink."

"Doctor."

"What are you doing?" River snaps towards Theta as Fay looks up at me, I sigh. "Cutting the power. It's using the screen, I'm turning the screen off. No good, it's deadlocked the whole system." Theta explains as River glared at him. "There's no deadlock." She snaps, "There is now." Theta growls back in anger. I grunted as I moved backwards with Fay, "Move!" Theta spins around with wide eyes as River moves away as well. This Angel didn't know who it was dealing with. "Help me!" At the same moment, I took a deep breath and use my powers to destroy the tv, killing the power to the Angel. Soon, the door unlocks and Amelia stands there. She holds the remote control, "It just kept switching back on." She breathed out as we all rushed inside with her. The tv now smoking as Theta rushes forward to scan it. "Yeah, it was the Angel." He uttered out, "But it was just a recording." Fay watched her father,

"No, anything that takes the image of an Angel is an Angel." She stated looking back towards Amelia who nodded numbly.

"Whatever holds the image of an Angel, is an Angel." River spoke up with a nod, "River, hug Amy." Theta demands, causing her to frown in confusion. "Why?" They both asked together, "Because I'm busy." He snipped in response. "I'm fine." Amelia spoke with a small smile. "So it was here? That was the Angel?" River asked, "That was a projection of the Angel. It's reaching out, getting a good look at us. It's no longer dormant. The eyes are not the windows of the soul. They are the doors. Beware what may enter there."Theta turned towards Amelia to ask her something before he could there is an explosion outside.

:••:••:••:••:

"Last one positive."

"Kate? Doctor? We're through."

"Okay, now it starts."

Everyone climbs down a rope ladder into a very large underground space. Theta drops before helping Fay and I off the ladder, "Do we have a gravity globe?" I asked spinning around in the darkness. "Grav globe." Octavian demands, as a Cleric hands a globe to me. "Where are we? What is this?" Amelia asked, I moved back over to Theta and Fay. "It's an Aplan Mortarium, sometimes called a Maze of the Dead." I spoke as I moved along, "What's that?" Amelia asked once more. "Well, if you happen to be a creature of living stone.." I had it over to Theta who kicks the globe into the air, where it illuminates a vast array of mausoleums and statuary. "The perfect hiding place." Fay utters out in awe at the sight, if I didn't feel so creeped out; I would say it was beautiful.

"I guess this makes it a bit trickier."

"A bit, yeah."

"A stone Angel on the loose amongst stone statues. A lot harder than I'd prayed for."

"A needle in a haystack."

"A needle that looks like hay. A hay-like needle of death. A hay-alike needle of death in a haystack of, er, statues. No, yours was fine."

"Right. Check every single statue in this chamber. You know what you're looking for. Complete visual inspection. One question. How do we fight it?" Octavian demands towards his men, "We find it, and hope." Octavian stops River, I immediately hid in the shadows. "She doesn't know yet, does she? Who and what you are. What you did to them. I'm sure if she did, you wouldn't be here anymore." He hissed with a smirk, she glared darkly at him. "It's too early in their time stream. I don't want to know if she knows, either." River snapped in response as my eyes darken to a glare. "Well, make sure they don't work it out, or they're not going to help us." Octavian hissed in anger, "I won't let you down. Believe you me, I have no intention of going back to prison." She walked away causing him to scoff, "I doubt prison will be the least of your worries when she finds you guilty of it." A cleric comes up to Octavian as he follows the group. "Sir? Side chamber. One visible exit." He nods, "Check it out. Angelo, go with him." I emerged from the shadows to meet up with the group again.

I knew I couldn't trust her, lying bitch.

I immigrated towards Theta and Fay who were walking beside Amelia, starting up the terraces. She pauses to rub her eye, and stone dust falls out between her fingers. River immediately takes notice as she walks up to us, "You all right?" She asked the redhead, my eyes keeping a glare. "Yeah, I'm fine. So, what's a Maze of the Dead?" Theta had bounded further away as they stopped. "Oh, it's not as bad as it sounds. It's just a labyrinth with dead people buried in the walls. Okay, that was fairly bad. Right give me your arm. This won't hurt a bit." River injects Amy, "Ow!" She yelped in anger and disbelief. "There, you see. I lied. It's a viro-stabiliser. Stabilises your metabolism against radiation, drive burn, anything. You're going to need it when we get up to that ship." Theta and Fay were examining the rocks as I watched protectively from the side. "So what's he like? In the future, I mean. Because you know him in the future, don't you?"

"The Doctor? Well, the Doctor's the Doctor."

"Oh. Well, that's very helpful. Mind if I write that down?"

"Yes, we are."

"Sorry, what?"

"Talking about you."

"I wasn't listening. I'm busy." He speaks, Fay looks at me with a shake of her head causing me to smile lightly, "Ah. The other way up." She told him as I crossed my arms in annoyance, he turns River's portable computer around. "Yeah." Theta grumbled out. You're so his wife." My growls rumbles my throat as Thera moves to grab my hand and pull me away from them. "Oh, Amy, Amy, Amy. This is the Doctor we're talking about. Do you really think it could be anything that simple?" River teased, smirking at my back. "Yep." An rumble echoed the cavern as the ground vibrates, Theta immediately pulling me into a hug. "It's alright, my love. She just trying to get to you. Please, calm." I took a deep breath before nodding, Fay immediately grabs my hand as he pulls away.

Gunfire.

The five of us turn and run back to the main group, Theta leading the group as I held onto Fay tightly. A young Cleric has shot up a statue, "Sorry, sorry. I thought. I thought it looked at me." He cried out, Octavian growled in annoyance. "We know what the Angel looks like. Is that the Angel?" I paused at the question, my body sagging as I moved closer to the statue. "No, sir." The man sagged himself, I slowly reached up to touch it. "No, sir, it is not. According to the Doctor, we are facing an enemy of unknowable power and infinite evil, so it would be good, it would be very good, if we could all remain calm in the presence of decor." I flinched back at the images that flew past my eyes. Shit. Looking towards Theta, he was watching the boy. "What's your name?" He asked, with a raised eyebrow. "Bob, sir." The man responded, "Ah, that's a great name. I love Bob." Theta winked down at Fay who giggled. Bob was the name of her very first imaginary friend. Typically, timelords didn't have imaginary friends but seeming as Fay was the only child we had and she had been by herself for the last fifty years without another kid her age. We allowed it, "It's a Sacred Name. We all have Sacred Names. They're given to us in the service of the Church."

"Sacred Bob. More like Scared Bob now, eh?" I cleared my throat, trying to get Theta's attention. "Yes, sir." Bob replied, "Ah, good. Scared keeps you fast. Anyone in this room who isn't scared is a moron. Carry on." Octavian nodded at Theta, "We'll be moving into the maze in two minutes. You stay with Christian and Angelo. Guard the approach." The men dispersed and we continued moving deeper into the caverns. I looked around, my hands twisting as I destroyed one. Blinking, the began to move towards it causing me to sigh. I knew it. I couldn't use my powers without them trying to use it to regenerate.

I took off, "Had dinner with their Chief Architect once. Two heads are better than one." I moved towards the sound of voices, "What, you mean you helped him?" Amelia asked as I finally met up with them, "No, I mean he had two heads. That book, the very end, what did it say?" Theta frowning at the sight of me, wondering were I went. "Hang on." She pulls the journal out, "What if we had ideas that could think for themselves? What if one day our dreams no longer needed us? When these things occur and are held to be true, the time will be upon us. The time of Angels." There was a long pause as I tugged on Theta's arm. I needed to tell him, but the further we moves away from the two women, the more they followed. "Are we there yet? It's a hell of a climb." Amelia complained. "The Maze is on six levels, representing the ascent of the soul. Only two levels to go." River explains as I stopped. "Lovely species, the Aplans. We should visit them some time." He smiled down at his daughter who was watching me, her face forming into a frown. Amelia said something but I didn't hear her, my eyes meeting Theta's. "Doctor, there's something. I don't know what it is."

"My love, the aplan's have two heads, these statues don't." He immediately froze, his grip tightening on Fay's hand.

"Oh." He breathed out, looking around at all the statues. "What's wrong?" Amelia asked looking confused, "Oh." The collective penny has finally dropped. "Exactly." I stated with a nod, "How could we have not noticed that?" River gapped in horror, "Low level perception filter, or maybe we're thick." I sighed giving him a look, "I was distracted." I muttered lowly with a frown. "What's wrong, sir?" Octavian asked with a frown, "Nobody move. Nobody move. Everyone stay exactly where they are. Bishop, I am truly sorry. I've made a mistake and we are all in terrible danger." He backs everyone closer together as he moves Fay towards me.

"What danger?"

"The Aplans."

"The Aplans?"

"They've got two heads."

"Yes, I get that. So?"

"So why don't the statues? Everyone, over there. Just move. Don't ask questions, don't speak." We move into an alcove away from the statues. "Okay, I want you all to switch off your torches." Theta demands in anger, "Sir?" One of the clerics ask, "Just do it. Okay. I'm going to turn off this one too, just for a moment." I sighed with a shake of my head, I know he believes me. He just wants to see exactly how many. "Are you sure about this?" I asked him with a raised eyebrow, "I can't use my powers on them, I tried earlier. They'll eat it." He immediately sighed, "Then no, I'm not sure about this. The light goes out then back in an instant. "Oh, my God. They've moved." Theta runs down the passage, and it is filled statues coming towards them. "They're Angels. All of them." Shit, I had hoped only a few would be Angels, I did see a few statues at the beginning with two heads but damn. "But they can't be." River breathed out, "Clerics, keep watching them." He runs back to a vantage point of the main cavern. All the statues are climbing up towards them. "Every statue in this Maze, every single one, is a Weeping Angel. They're coming after us."

"But there was only one Angel on the ship. Just the one, I swear." River shook slightly with wide eyes, "Could they have been here already?" Amelia asked with a frown, "The Aplans. What happened? How did they die out?" Fay asked looking up at River, the women flinching slightly at the girl before looking away. "Nobody knows." She uttered out, "We know." I stated in fact, we definitely know now. "They don't look like Angels." Octavian uttered out in confusion. "And they're not fast. You said they were fast. They should have had us by now." Amelia snipped slightly causing me to frown. "Look at them. They're dying, losing their form. They must have been down here for centuries, starving." I stated in fact. "Losing their image?" She asked again with a cock of her head. "And their image is their power. Power. Power! My love! You told me and it went right over my head." He yells in annoyance at himself before smacking his forehead. "Doctor?" Amelia asked in concern, "Don't you see? All that radiation spilling out the drive burn. The crash of the Byzantium wasn't an accident, it was a rescue mission for the Angels. We're in the middle of an army, and it's waking up." He explained, "I noticed earlier and went to destroy one, when I did; the other began to eat it. They wanted the same energy that I use to grow. So some might be fully restored. We have to be careful." River scoffed with an eye roll at my explanation. "We need to get out of here fast."

"Bob, Angelo, Christian, come in, please. Any of you, come in." Octavian calls into the radio. "It's Bob, sir. Sorry, sir." Bobs voice comes back, but I could tell it wasn't Bob. "Bob, are Angelo and Christian with you? All the statues are active. I repeat, all the statues are active." Octavian demands, "I know, sir. Angelo and Christian are dead, sir. The statues killed them, sir." Theta immediately grabs Octavian's walkie-talkie. "Bob, Sacred Bob, it's me, the Doctor." Octavian looks at him in annoyance, "I'm talking to.." Theta interrupted him. "Where are you now?" Octavian growls in anger. "I'm talking to my..." Theta waved him off and I snort. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, shut up." Octavian glares but he doesn't say anything more. "I'm on my way up to you, sir. I'm homing in on your signal." Bob responded, "Ah, well done, Bob. Scared keeps you fast. Told you, didn't I. Your friends, Bob. What did the Angel do to them?" I cleared my throat, gaining Theta's attention.

"Snapped their necks, sir." Theta frowned in sadness. "That's odd. That's not how the Angels kill you. They displace you in time. Unless they needed the bodies for something. The Angels don't leave you alive. So tell me, how did you escape?" Theta spoke, his voice darkening over the radio as everyone watched. "I didn't escape, sir. The Angel killed me, too." He sighed with a nod, "What do you mean, the Angel killed you?" Octavian asked moving forwards, "Snapped my neck, sir. Wasn't as painless as I expected, but it was pretty quick, so that was something." I raised an eyebrow at the detail. "If you're dead, how can I be talking to you?" Theta asked him, "You're not talking to me, sir. The Angel has no voice. It stripped my cerebral cortex from my body and re-animated a version of my consciousness to communicate with you. Sorry about the confusion." Damn, and I thought I was dark. "So when you say you're on your way up to us..." Fay started, staring up at her father with a raised eyebrow. "It's the Angel that's coming, ma'am, yes. No way out."

"Then we get out through the wreckage. Go! Go, go, go. All of you run." Everyone starts to run except the four of us. "Doctor." Amelia calls back, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm coming. Just go. Go, go, go. Yeah. Called you an idiot. Sorry, but there's no way we could have rescued your men." Octavian glared at us. "I know that, sir. And when you've flown away in your little blue box, I'll explain that to their families." He leaves, Theta frowns before pulling the comms up again. "Angel Bob. Which Angel am I talking to? The one from the ship?" Theta asked, "Yes, sir. And the other Angels are still restoring. Your female can help immensely. We will take her with us." I scoffed as Theta growls. "Ah, so the Angel is not in the wreckage. Thank you." We run past Amelia who is standing there. "Don't wait for me. Go, run." She doesn't, I push Fay forward who nods and takes off. "I can't. No, really, I can't." She cried out, "Why not?" I asked her with a cock of my head. "Look at it. Look at my hand. It's stone." It wasn't. "You looked into the eyes of an Angel, didn't you?" He asked with a frown, "I couldn't stop myself. I tried." She whimpered out, we both sighed in agreement. "Listen to me. It's messing with your head. Your hand is not made of stone." I told her as I crossed my arms. "It is. Look at it." She insisted, "It's in your mind, I promise you. You can move that hand. You can let go."

"I can't, okay? I've tried and I can't. It's stone." I sighed as I moved around, getting antsy. "The Angel is going to come and it's going to turn this light off, and then there's nothing I can do to stop it, so do it. Concentrate. Move your hand." I snap at her with a glare, we really didn't have time for this. "I can't." She responded back with a glare of her own. "Then we're all going to die." Theta snipped in response, "We're not going to die." I told him. He shook his head, "They'll kill the lights. Kate, you can't use your powers. We'll all die." I rolled my eyes in response. "You've got to go. You know you have. You've got all that stuff with River and that's all got to happen. You know you can't die here." We both scoffed and he laughed sarcastically. "Time can be re-written. It doesn't work like that. Besides, I'd rather that then have a future with her." Amelia flinched in shock as the statues arrive. "Keep your eyes on it. Don't blink." I demand with a glare.

"Run!"

"You see, I'm not going. I'm not leaving you here."

"I don't need you to die for me, Doctor. Do I look that clingy?" Yes.

"You can move your hand."

"It's stone."

"It's not stone."

"You've got to go. Those people up there will die without you. If you stay here with me, you'll have as good as killed them." She started to cried, "Amy Pond, you are a crybaby, and I'm sorry." He hissed at her, she nodded with a small smile. "It's okay. I understand. You've got to leave me." She uttered out causing me to roll my eyes. "Oh, no, I'm not leaving you, never. I'm sorry about this." He bites her hand. "Ow!" She yelps, releasing her hand, immediately we take off. "See? Not stone. Now run." I snapped in annoyance. "You bit me." Amelia yelps as she follows closely behind us. "Yeah, and you're alive." He snarls in annoyance. "Look, I've got a mark. Look at my hand." She continues to complain. "Yes, and you're alive. Did I mention?" He looks towards me with a certain expression and a eye roll. "Blimey, your teeth. Have you got space teeth?" She continued with a frown, "Yeah. Alive. All I'm saying."

"Clerics, we're down to four men. Expect incoming." Octavian's voice leads us to the group. Fay standing next to him, the man protecting her. "Yeah, it's the Angels. They're coming. And they're draining the power for themselves." Theta states as we meet up with them. "Which means we won't be able to see them." Fay stated, rushing forwards to hug us. "Which means we can't stay here." He responded to his daughter, giving her a kiss on the head as I take her hand and pull her beside me. "Two more incoming." Octavian shouts, "Any suggestions?" River asked in annoyance. "The statues are advancing on all sides. We don't have the climbing equipment to reach the Byzantium." Octavian explains as we are surrounded. "There's no way up, no way back, no way out. No pressure, but this is usually when you have a really good idea." River looked towards him with a raised eyebrow. "There's always a way out." He spoke, his body frozen as he looks me right in the eyes. "There's always a way out." I repeated, "Doctor? Can I speak to the Doctor, please?" The comm clicks on, "Hello, Angels. What's your problem?" Theta asked still staring at me, my eyes move up for a split second and he smirks. "Your power will not last much longer, and the Angels will be with you shortly. Sorry, sir."

"Why are you telling me this?" Theta asked, "There's something the Angels are very keen you should know before the end." Bob spoke, "Which is?" He cocked his head slightly, we were becoming more and more outnumbered. "I died in fear." Fay gripped my hand, "I'm sorry?" Theta snarled slightly, "You told me my fear would keep me alive, but I died afraid, in pain and alone. You made me trust you, and when it mattered, you let me down." Amelia frowned as she leaned towards River. "What are they doing?" She asked the woman, "They're trying to make him angry." She muttered back, "I'm sorry, sir. The Angels were very keen for you to know that." I scoffed with an eye roll, the worst thing they could do was piss him off. "Well then, the Angels have made their second mistake because I'm not going to let that pass. I'm sorry you're dead, Bob, but I swear to whatever is left of you, they will be sorrier." He snarled into the radio, "But you're trapped, sir, and about to die." Bob taunted back. "Yeah. I'm trapped. And you know what? Speaking of traps, this trap has got a great big mistake in it. A great big, whopping mistake." He stared me down, and I nodded. Fay makes eye contact with her father before smiling and nodding, our trust in this man undoubtedly all there. "What mistake, sir?"

"Trust me."

"Yeah."

"Trust me?"

"Always."

"You lot, trust me?"

"Sir, two more incoming."

"We have faith, sir."

"Then give me your gun. I'm about to do something incredibly stupid and dangerous. When I do, jump!" Theta yells slightly as he spun around on us, Fay smiled brightly. "Jump where?" Octavian asked, frowning in confusion. "Just jump, high as you can. Come on, leap of faith, Bishop. On my signal." Theta demands, "What signal?" Octavian utters out with a raised eyebrow, "You won't miss it." I tell him with a smirk of my own. "Sorry, can I ask again? You mentioned a mistake we made." Theta points the gun at the hull of the Byzantium. "Oh, big mistake. Huge. Didn't anyone every tell you there's one thing you never put in a trap? If you're smart, if you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow, there is one thing you never, ever put in a trap." Theta's eye and voice had darkened, I could tell practically all the three adult females that were standing here had wanted to drop their panties. "And what would that be, sir?"

"My Girls." Yep, panties dropped.

He shoots at the Byzantium, a bright light and we all jump.

Ok, guys another episode out.

I wanted to get this one out before I go to work!

I hope y'all like it.

I tried to insert Fay as much as I could here but at this point in time she's not really super important. She's included of course and she is important but I don't really have a place to put her in this one.

She learns as she goes, so her being quiet and watching her parents is actually better for her.

Also, I originally had the idea to have Kate destroy a whole bunch of Angels but then I was like, how would the episode end and how would I be able to do the next one. I kinda need the angels so I decided that her powers can be used as energy/food for the angels.

Anyway, I hope y'all like this.

Also, I think subconsciously I've decision that Rose and River will always be an enemy for my OCs, any of books. I can't stand them, and I honestly don't know if I can write them any other way. I'll try with River on one of my other fics but I can't say it won't change.

Again if you don't like, don't read.

Thank you all for the love and support!!!

I appreciate the feedback as well!
