{"Well, I'm not sure I appreciate that."}

Rory is on the phone, trying to make himself heard above the noise of his stag party. All the participants are wearing red t-shirts with Rory's Stag on the back and a picture of Rory and Amy inside a heart on the front. "Hey! It's me. Hello. How are you?" He is talking to the answerphone, "The reason for this call is because I haven't told you for seven hours that I love you, which is a scandal, and even if we weren't getting married tomorrow, I'd ask you to marry me anyway. Yes, I would, because you are smashing." A giant pink cake is wheeled in to the tune 'The Stripper'. "Oh. Oh. Oh, blimey. I've. I've, er got to go. I'll see you tomorrow." His companions push Rory forward, "Out. Out. Out."

I burst out of the fake cake fully clothed and silence falls. "Rory! That's a relief. That reminds me, there's a girl standing outside in a bikini. Could someone let her in and give her a jumper? Lucy? Lovely girl. Diabetic. Now then, Rory. We need to talk about your fiancé. She kissed my husband and I'm not happy about it." Someone drops his beer glass and it smashes on the floor. "Now, would one of you lovely gentleman mind helping me out?" Before anyone could move forward, Theta burst through the doors. "Don't touch her! She's mine!" He shouts and excitedly helps me out of the cake as Rory watches us in shock.

"Come along, Rory."

:••:••:••:••:

Theta is hanging underneath the console platform, doing some welding. Fay is sitting on the console chair as I leaned against the railing on the top floor. Rory and Amelia are standing apart from each other, Rory closer to me while Amelia stands near the area of Theta. "Oh, the life out there, it dazzles. I mean, it blinds you to the things that are important. I've seen it devour relationships and plans. It's meant to do that. Because for one person to have seen all that, to taste the glory and then go back, it will tear you apart. So, I'm sending you somewhere, together." Theta rambled as he came up on the second level. He gives me a small kiss upon the cheek as he passes by, I almost pull away but I don't. I was pissed, but I had to remember that it wasn't Theta who I was pissed at. "Whoa. What, like a date?" Amelia scoffed as she crossed her arms, I shoot her a glare as Rory looks down sadly.

"Anywhere you want. Any time you want. One condition. It has to be amazing. The Moulin Rouge in 1890. The first Olympic Games. Think of it as a wedding present, because it's either this or tokens." He then turns to Rory who was now looking around the room in slight awe. "It's a lot to take in, isn't it? Tiny box, huge room inside. What's that about? Let me explain." Theta starts with a smirk, "It's another dimension." Rory stated, interrupting him. I let out a laugh as Theta continued on, Fay had made her way over to us with a smile towards the male. "It's basically another dimension. What?" He pouted as his brain finally caught up. "After what happened with Prisoner Zero, I've been reading up on all the latest scientific theories. FTL travel, parallel universes." Rory shrugged as Theta turned to me with a sad pout. He comes closer to lean against my shoulder, "I like the bit when someone says it's bigger on the inside. I always look forward to that."

I chuckled again as I gave him a kiss, "So, this date. I'm kind of done with running down corridors. What do you think, Rory?" Rory looks away from his fiancé, who looks slightly hurt at the cold shoulder. Theta spun to start up the rotor, Fay grabbing Rory's hand giving him a small smile. He smiled down at the little girl, Amelia scoffing in irritation as she looked away. "How about somewhere romantic?"

:••:••:••:••:

The Tardis lands in the middle of the busy area, not even trying to hide. Venice is being played by Trogir and other locations in Croatia. Theta smiles brightly as he opens the door, "Venice." He cheers, we are given a view of the campanile of San Marco and the Basilica, across a very wide canal with moored gondolas in the foreground as we step out. "Venezia. La Serenissima. Impossible city. Preposterous city. Founded by refugees running from Attila the Hun. It was just a collection of little wooden huts in the middle of the marsh, but became one of the most powerful cities in the world. Constantly being invaded, constantly flooding, constantly just beautiful. Ah, you got to love Venice." We started to wonder around the market. "So many people did. Byron, Napoleon, Casanova. Ooo, that reminds me. 1580. That's all right. Casanova doesn't get born for a hundred and forty five years. Don't want to run into him. I owe him a chicken." Theta finally finished, leaving us all staring at him. "You owe Casanova a chicken?" Rory finally asked with a cock of his head, "Long story. We had a bet over Kate. I somehow lost, still think he cheated." He grumbled out as he moved forwards only to be stopped by an official.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Papers, if you please. Proof of residency, current bill of medical inspection." Theta holds up his psychic paper. "There you go, fellow. All to your satisfaction, I think you'll find." He winks at me, "I am so sorry, Your Holiness, Highness's. I didn't realise." He bowed to Fay and I as Theta blesses the man. I rolled my eyes with a shake of my head and a small snort, Fay watching her father with a smile. "No worries. You were just doing your job. Sorry, what exactly is your job?" Theta asked him, fidgeting with his hands. "Checking for aliens. Visitors from foreign lands what might bring the plague with them." Amelia scoffed from behind us with a glare, moving to smack his arm. "Oh, that's nice. See where you bring me? The plague." Theta and I shot her a glare, causing her to shrink back. She has no right to bitch right now, especially not with Rory here.

"Don't worry, we're under quarantine here. No one comes in, no one goes out, and all because of the grace and wisdom of our patron, Signora Rosanna Calvierri." Theta nods along with the man as Fay moved towards Rory to grab his hand again. I could tell she felt sorry for the man, I felt sorry for him. "How interesting. I heard the plague died out years ago." I stated as I crossed my arms with a raised eyebrow. "Not out there, your highness. No, Signora Calvierri has seen it with her own eyes. Streets are piled high with bodies, she said." Theta and I frowned, giving each a look. "Did she now." Rory takes the psychic paper from the Inspector, who moves on to his next target. "Oi." The inspector shouts towards another victim, "Er, according to this, your Kate's eunuch." Amelia gapped at him, snatching the paper and reading it. I snorted as Fay pulling Rory off with the three of us following behind. Theta cleared his throat, "Oh yeah. I'll explain later." He so wasn't going to explain later.

We soon find ourselves across the canal from the procession. A man runs up to the girls shouting, for an Isabella.

He lifts the girls veils until he finds his daughter, only to be knocked on his ass by another. Soon, the girls leave with the man shouting behind them, still on the floor. "Isabella! It's me!" Amelia raised an eyebrow, "What was that about?" Amelia asked max Theta grabbing my hand as she did all three of us taking off.

:••:••:••:••:

Theta runs ahead as we watch him, he slightly hides behind a wall the man had just walked by. Might I say, he looked very attractive doing so."Who are those girls?" He asked, crossing his arms as the man from before turned to face us. "I thought everyone knew about the Calvierri school." The man frowned at us with a raised eyebrow, "Our first day here. It's okay. Parents do all sorts of things to get their children into good schools. I know I would. They move house, they change religion. So why are you trying to get her out?" The man looks between us, taking notice of Theta's protective stance and Fay holding my hand. He smiles sadly at the sight of us, "Something happens in there. Something magical, something evil. My own daughter didn't recognise me. And the girl who pushed me away, her face, like an animal." He utters out with slight fear. "I think it's time I met this Signora Calvierri." Theta wraps an arm around his shoulders leading him away, Fay and I filling close behind.

:••:••:••:••:

We end up outside of the chapel from before, "You have my daughter. Isabella!" Guido, the man we met shouted towards a guard standing at the entrance. "No, you're not coming in. Just stop there. Look, we've told you."The distraction enables the three of us to sneak past and round to the water gate and sonic our way in. "You have my daughter. Isabella! I demand you let me see my daughter." The man and the guard continue to shout as we move inside the building. We make our way down a stone staircase to an area with a vaulted roof. There is an ornate mirror on one wall opposite 3 doors. Theta spins in a circle before spotting me in the mirror. He smirks as he walks up to it, "Hello, handsome." I roll my eyes at his joke, as he adjusts his tie in the mirror. Fay suddenly tugs on my hand, "Momma." I turned to face the direction she was pointing to see five woman in white standing there.

Fay and I back up into Theta as they speak, "Who are you?" He immediately jumps in front of us, only to pause in confusion as he spun back and forth between them and the mirror behind us. "How are you doing that? I am loving it. You're like Houdini, only five slightly scary girls, and he was shorter. Will be shorter. I'm rambling." He laughed slightly as I smacked his back when he stopped turning back and forth. "I'll ask you again, signor. Who are you?" They asked together in a creepy way. "Why don't you check this out?" Theta holds out an ID card with his first regenerations photograph on it. The girls stare at it blankly, then Theta looks at it. He sighs in annoyance, looking back at me with a eye roll. "Library card." He stated in fact, Fay and I cracking smiled. "Of course, it's with. He's." He makes the same gesture as before about Rory's nose. "I need a spare. Pale, creepy girls who don't like sunlight and can't be seen. Ha. Am I thinking what I think I'm thinking? But the city. Why shut down the city? Unless..." He spins in excitement, facing us with a smile. "Leave now, signor, or we shall call for the Steward, if you are lucky."

"Ooo." The girls teeth turn into needles, and they start to advance on us, hissing. Theta immediately pushes Fay and I towards the exit first, "Tell me the whole plan." He shouts, then paused with a sigh turning to me. "One day that will work." I shook my head in response, "I doubt it, my love." I laughed. "Listen, I would love to stay here. This whole thing. I'm thrilled. Oh, this is Christmas." We immediately take off up the stairs and out of the old building.

:••:••:••:••:

Night is now falling, and we end up by the canal once more. As we make our way to the place from earlier, we met up with Rory and Amelia. "Doctor!" She shouts, running forward. "Rory! We just met some vampires." Fay yells out before Amelia could speak. He looked slightly shocked but soon he laughed with a nod. Theta and I watched them, ignoring Amelia who growled in annoyance. "We just saw a vampire too!" They talk over each other, "And creepy girls and everything." Theta finally interrupted with a raise of his arms and a smile. The four of us smiling happily, Amelia trying to push into the conversation. "Vampires." She laughed awkwardly as the conversation dies out. There was a pause before Theta clears his throat. "Okay. So, first we need to get back in there somehow." Rory frowns in question, "What?" He asked as Fay reaches for him. He smiles gently before bending down to pick her, Theta and I happily watching. "How do we do that?" Amelia asked as she watched with her arms crossed.

Theta's arm made its way around my waist. "Back in where?" Rory asked the right question, Theta pointed to him with a smirk. "Come and meet my new friend."

:••:••:••:••:

We now stand in Guido's house, the man had been confused when we first showed up but let us in anyway. He had been hesitant to trust us until we told he what we had seen. Now, a vellum map of Venice is laid on the table. "As you saw, there's no clear way in. The House of Calvierri is like a fortress. But there's a tunnel underneath it, with a ladder and shaft that leads up into the house. I tried to get in once myself, but I hit a trapdoor." He explained, "You need someone on the inside." Amelia stated in fact, "No." I snipped in annoyance. "You don't even know what I was going to say." She snapped back, "Er, that we pretend you're an applicant for the school to get you inside, and tomorrow night you come down and open the trapdoor to let us in." Theta explained with a pointed look in her direction. She paused with a frown, looking away. "Oh. So you do know what I was going to say." I rolled my eyes, "Are you insane?" Rory snapped at the other red head.

"We don't have another option." Amelia shrugged as if it was no big deal. "He said no, Amy. Listen to him." Rory uttered out, "There is another option." Guido points to the collection of barrels behind Rory. "I work at the Arsenale. We build the warships for the navy." Theta sniffs the barrels, "Gunpowder. Most people just nick stationery from where they work. Look, I have a thing about guns and huge quantities of explosive." He spoke with a frown as he looked towards me. "What do you suggest, then? We wait until they turn her into an animal?" Amelia sighed as she spoke up. "I'll be there three, four hours, tops." She insisted, "No. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. It can't keep happening like this. This is how they go. But I have to know. We go together, say you're my daughter." Theta rambled out, "What? Don't listen to him." Rory uttered out in shock, "Your daughter? You look about nine." She snipped with a frown, "Well, I'm not sure I appreciate that." I muttered lowly, "Brother, then." Theta shrugged, "Too weird. Fiancé."

A loud bang rang through the room, and I soon realized it was the sound of my hands slamming on the table. "I'm not having him run around telling people he's your fiancé." Rory snapped as I glared, "I'd appreciate it if you would stop going after my husband." I snapped in anger, she gulped with a small nod. "No. No, you're right." She backed down, Rory coming over to place a hand on my shoulder. "Thank you." He uttered out, Theta made a noise when he noticed Rory's hand on me. I shot him a glare, "I mean, they've already seen the Doctor. You should do it." Amelia gestured to Rory with a smile, "Me?" He asked, cocking his head in confusion. "Yeah. You can be my brother." She punched him on the shoulder with a awkward smile. "Why is him being your brother weird, but with me, it's okay?" I glared once more as I moved away, I needed some air. I made my way over to Fay, who had passed out on the cot that was on the only side of the room. I sat down beside her, gently running my fingers along her hair. "This whole thing is mental. They're vampires, for God's sake." Rory utters out in shock, "We hope." Theta speaks as he moves closer to Fay and I, "So if they're not vampires?" Amelia asked with a frown. "Makes you wonder what could be so bad it doesn't actually mind us thinking it's a vampire."

After, the conversation ends we all settle in, Guido allowing us to use the extra cot he had while Fay slept on his daughters. Rory and Amelia slept somewhat away from one another as Theta and I cuddled close. My head was tucked into his chest as he ran his fingers through my hair, Fay sleeping beside us. Finally, I was able to fall asleep peacefully.

:••:••:••:••:

The next morning, Rory and Amelia stand before Rosanna and Francesco, dressing in appropriate costume. A plan to have them act as brother and sister to get Amelia within the same area of the other females. She would go undercover and let us through the gates later on tonight. Rory was highly uncomfortable about this situation, he made that clear all morning. An hour later, he is back and he's alone. Now, the plan begins all we needed to do later that night. Fay was going to stay here for now while the rest of us continue on.

Finally, night arrives and Guido poles a gondola along, He is wearing Rory's stag party t-shirt. "She'll be fine." Theta uttered out, as we rowed along the water. "You can promise me that, can you?" Rory snapped back in slight annoyance and fear, as much as she has hurt him. He still cared greatly for her, soon we hit the side. "We're here." We slowly get off the boat, Thera helping me out as Guido nods to us. I nod back with a smile, we will get his daughter back. "Right. Okay, I'll go first. If anything happens to me, go back" Theta utters out as we enter the long corridor, "What happened, between you and Amy? Kate said she kissed you." Rory asked looking at him with a frown, I raise an eyebrow. "Now? You want to do this now?" I hissed in annoyance as we climbed the stairs.

"I have a right to know. I'm getting married in four hundred and thirty years." Rory snipped back as Theta sighed with a groan. "She was frightened. I was frightened. Kate and Fay were frightened. But we survived, you know, and the relief of it, and so she kissed me." Theta grimace slightly at the thought as he moves to whip his mouth again. "And you kissed her back?" Rory snipped, Theta immediately froze causing us to all bump into each other. I raised an eyebrow as I watched him slowly turn to face us, his eyes gleaming in the darkness. He face a dark shadow, "No. I want you to get this clear, I don't care for anyone but my daughter and my wife. Amelia was supposed to be a friend for my little girl. She was and still is in our eyes, a little girl we met. Pure coincidence, that's all. That women standing behind you is the only one I'll ever choose to kiss, she is my life. I don't want Amelia and I've never seen her in that way either. You can have her Rory, that who you belong with. I may give off a certain impression, a big one to most but I am a loyal man." Theta finished his rant leaving us in silent shock, "I have never been so turned on by you in my life." I uttered out, he immediately perked up fixing his bow tie with a smirk. He went to move towards me, until Rory stepped between us.

"Still here, guys." Rory uttered out with a slight awkward look. "Rory, she kissed me because I was there. It would have been you. It should have been you." Theta finalized, Rory nodded with a small grateful grin. "Yeah, it should have been me." He laughed as Theta pulled him into a hug, giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Exactly. That's why I brought you here." A strong wind blows out their torch, "Can we go and see the vampires now, please?" Rory laughs at his question. Soon, Theta climbs up on Rory and out of the trapdoor, then pulls him up. Rory immediately moves so Theta can pull me up next, "Push. Come on. There we are. Amy. Where's Amy? Amy?" Theta calls out with a frown, "I can't see a thing. Just as well I brought this, then." Rory produces a tiny penlight, Theta pulls out a small light sabre. "Ultraviolet. Portable sunlight." He utters with a smile, "Yours is bigger than mine." Rory states, his voice dejected. I snorted as Theta spins to face us with a raised eyebrow. "Let's not go there."

Theta starts to explore as I sit on the well we came out of, Rory is pacing. "If we cancel now, we lose the deposit on the village hall. The salsa band. Oh." Theta opens a nearby chest, It contains desiccated vampires. "Nice." I uttered out sarcastically with a raised eyebrow, Rory slightly flinched at the sight. "What happened to them?" He asked with a cock of his head. "They've had all the moisture taken out of them." Theta and I spoke together, "That's what vampires do, right? They drink your blood and replace it with their own." Rory states with a frown. "Yeah, except these people haven't just had their blood taken, but all the water in their entire bodies." I explained to him, he sighed with a shake of his head. "Why did they die? Why aren't they like the girls in the school?" He asked, "Maybe not everyone survives the process." Theta explained with a frown of his own. "You know what's dangerous about you? It's not that you make people take risks, it's that you make them want to impress you. You make it so they don't want to let you down. You have no idea how dangerous you make people to themselves when you're around."

"Who are you?" Six girls have appeared, we all move into a circle as Theta waves his UV light at them. "We should run. Run." Amy kicks out at Rosanna, damaging a device under her overskirt. She briefly transforms into a bony vampire shrimp or lobster. "Oh! Rory, come on." Rosanna, Francesco and Carlo run out. They block our way towards Amelia, "Cab for Amy Pond?" Vampires continue to block our retreat, my eyes and hands start to glow. "This rescue plan. Not exactly watertight, is it?" Theta immediately shakes his head as he brandishes his UV light again. "Ah ha!" Isabella and Amelia run in, "Rory." She shouts, we turn to face her. "Amy." He responds immediately as he moves in her direction. "Quickly, through here." Theta and I quickly follow behind them into a tunnel.

"They're not vampires." Amelia shouts from the front, "What?" Theta and I asked together. "I saw them. I saw her. They're not vampires, they're aliens." She laughs as Theta sonics the trapdoor hatch. "Classic." Theta grumbled slightly causing her to laugh once more. I shake my head, it's not a good thing they are aliens, just easier to deal with in our own alien way. "That's good news? What is wrong with you people?" Rory snapped in annoyance at his fiancé. "Come on, Rory. Move." Francesco and the vampires catch up to them, but are held back by the UV light. He sends the girls ahead of him, "Keep moving. Come on, guys." We open the door and it's daylight, and church bells are ringing. Guido is still waiting with his gondola.

"Quickly, quickly. Get out. Quick. Quick." I snatch Theta's jacket off him, as Isabella recoils as the sunlight touches her skin. Quickly placing it on top of her, I push her forward. "Come on. Run." Theta and I are the last ones to getaway, arms wrapping around my body pulling me back. "No!" Theta shouts as he reaches for me, I let out a shout as energy bursts from my body knowing them away. The door slams and Theta is slammed against the wall, "My love!" I shout, moving towards him. Amelia immediately pushed me out of the way, "Stay away from him!" I flinch back, my hands shaking as Theta groans. His body moving as he sits up, "Kate? Kate!" He finally spots me, Amelia holding him with a glare towards me. I immediately move back as he moved towards me, "Kate?" He breathed out in confusion and hurt as he tried to move forward again. "Don't! Just don't." I shout, stopping him in his tracks. He lets out a small whimper as I turn towards the boat we're Guido and his daughter were waiting for us.

Rory turned to face Amy and The Doctor, her arms still around him. "Stop it, Amy." Amy flinched at his voice as The Doctor turned to look at them with a frown. "What happened?" He asked gently, his voice void; full of sadness. "She used her power on you! She almost killed you!" Amy rushed out in horror as she went to pull him close but he yanked himself from her grasp with a glare. "So you yell at her?" He snapped in anger, "She can't control it, you should know this by now. Don't worry about me, she won't hurt me." He snarled at her, "But she did! Can't you see, she's a monster!" A long silence came as she gasped at her own words. The Doctors face turned dark, a seething look appearing as he moved in her face. "You don't know shit, Amelia Pond. She is no monster, if anything I am. You need to get your priorities in check before the end of this trip or your gone. I don't know what you think you know about us, but you need to understand something. I would end the universe for her, she's the one who would sacrifice everything for the universe. So pick your side, and stay within your line." He snarled in her face, Amy had tears in her eyes as Rory watched in shock. The Doctor takes a breath before making his way to the boat where the other three were sitting. He made his way towards Kate who looked away from him, his face contorting in pain as she did so.

We ended up back at Guido's home, Fay immediately taking Isabella in her arms and healing the poor girl. Both the daughter and father hugging her in thanks. I watched, my arms wrapped around my body as Amelia and Rory stand off to the side. "Please. Don't." Theta uttered out from behind me, I turned to face him. He was looking down as he fiddled with his hands, "Don't pull away from me. I know you didn't mean too. Please, my love." His voice came out in a whisper as he looked up at me. "Let me hold you again." I whimpered as he opened his arms for me. Rushing forwards, I immediately burst into tears as he tightened his hold on me. "I love you! I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." I cried out as he shushed me, his hand rubbing my back. "It's ok, I don't care. I love you. No matter what you, no matter who you hurt. Your my love. My heart." I nodded as I looked up at him, he immediately whipped my tears away. A smile making its way back onto his face, he leaned down pulling me into a deep kiss.

"I love you, Theta."

"I love you too, my Nora."

:••:••:••:••:

An hour later Thera and I were in the throne room. Rosanna enters alone, he is sitting on her throne as I stand behind him with a smirk. "Long way from Saturnyne, aren't you, Sister of the Water?" He speaks slowly as he taps on the arm of the chair, "No, let me guess. The owner of the psychic paper." Theta raises his arms in a shrug and a smug smirk, "Then I take it you two are refugees, like me?" She asked, looking between us with a raised eyebrow. "I'll make you a deal. An answer for an answer. You're using a perception filter. It doesn't change your features, but manipulates the brainwaves of the person looking at you. But seeing one of you for the first time in, say, a mirror, the brain doesn't know what to fill the gap with, so leaves it blank, hence no reflection." She smiles as she moves around while he speaks. "Your question?" She asked, "Why can we see your big teeth?" She laughs loudly, "Self preservation over rides the mirage. The subconscious perceives the threat and tries to alert the conscious brain. My turn. Where are you from?"

"Gallifrey."

"You two should be in a museum. Or in a mausoleum."

"Why are you here?"

"We ran from the Silence. Why are you here?"

"Wedding present. The Silence?"

A familiar word, "There were cracks. Some were tiny. Some were as big as the sky. Through some we saw worlds and people, and through others we saw Silence and the end of all things. We fled to an ocean like ours, and the crack snapped shut behind us. Saturnyne was lost." She uttered out slowly as she remembers her past. "So Earth is to become Saturnyne Mark Two?" I asked with a raised eyebrow, "And you can help me. We can build a new society here, as others have. What do you say?" She smirked at Theta who stood up with a glare. "I need an answer, Doctor. A partnership. Any which way you choose." She utters out, moving closer. "I don't think that's such a good idea, do you? I'm a Time Lord. You're a big fish. Think of the children. Besides, my love is sitting on your throne right now." He winks and she spun to glare at me as I gave her a wave.

"Carlo? You're right. We're nothing alike. I will bend the heavens to save my race, while you philosophise." Carlo enters, "This ends today. I will tear down the House of Calvierri, stone by stone." He grabs Theta as I stand up and move towards them. "Take your hands off me, Carlo. And you know why? You threatened the love of my life. Your threatened her." He snarled as he grabbed my hand a moves us towards the exit. "Open the gates." We leave.

:••:••:••:••:

Now, back at Guido's home; Theta checks Amy's puncture wounds with his sonic screwdriver. "You're fine. Open wide." He pops a humbug into Amy's mouth. Guido and Rory have got their own clothes back. "Argh. I need to think. Come on, brain. Think, think, think. Think." He sits down, pulling me into his lap as Fay jumps into Rory's. Isabella watches from the side, looking back and forth towards us then outside. "If they're fish people, it explains why they hate the sun." Amelia utters out slowly, still walking on eggshells around him. "Stop talking. Brain thinking. Hush." He demands, putting his hand over Amelia's mouth. "It's the school thing I don't understand." Rory spoke up this time, "Stop talking. Brain thinking. Hush." Fay giggles as he places a hand over Rory's mouth, "I say we take the fight to them." Guido speaks up, snapping out of his stare on Isabella. "Ah, ah, ah." Theta starts causing the man to frown, "What?" He asked in confusion. "Ah." Rory placed his hand over Guido's mouth at Theta's signal.

"Her planet dies, so they flee through a crack in space and time and end up here. Then she closes off the city and, one by one, starts changing the people into creatures like her to start a new gene pool. Got it. But then what? They come from the sea. They can't survive for ever on land, so what's she going to do? Unless she's going to do something to the environment to make the city habitable. She said, I shall bend the heavens to save my race. Bend the heavens. Bend the heavens. She's going to sink Venice." Theta's eyes widened as he realized, finally dropping his hands. Wrapping them tightly around my waist, "She's going to sink Venice?" Guido asks, "And repopulate it with the girls she's transformed." I uttered as Theta placed his chin on my shoulder. "You can't repopulate somewhere with just women. You need blokes." Amelia's eyes widen as Rory's comment. "She's got blokes." She utters out in realization, "Where?" Theta and I asked together watching her with a frown.

"In the canal. She said to me there are ten thousand husbands waiting in the water." Theta gapped in shock, "Only the male offspring survived the journey here. She's got ten thousand children swimming around the canals, waiting for Mum to make them some compatible girlfriends." He paused with a grimace, "Urgh. I mean, that's..." A thump sounds from above us, all of us immediately jumping up. Fay coming to stand beside Theta and I, "The people upstairs are very noisy." He utters out slowly, "There aren't any people upstairs." Guido and Isabella speak together. "Do you know, I knew you were going to say that. Did anyone else know he was going to say that?" He looked between us all, "Is it the vampires?" Rory asked with a scared look. "Like I said, they're not vampires. Fish from space." A window breaks. Vampires gather around the doors and windows. "Aren't we on the second floor?" Theta waves his UV light at them, then uses his sonic screwdriver to reveal their true appearance. "What's happened to them?"

"There's nothing left of them. They've been fully converted. Blimey, fish from space have never been so buxom. Okay, move." Theta utters as he pushes everyone in front. "Come on." Rory and Amelia rush out first, Fay following close behind. "Give me the lamp." I shake my head as I push him and his daughter outside. "Go. Don't look back." He watches me with a frown, Isabella nods and pulls her father away, "Live free!" I shout as I spin back around towards the house. "No, Kate! What are you doing?!" I immediately slam the door in his face, using my powers to keep him from entering. "I'll meet up with you! I promise. Keep Fay safe!" I shout as I make my way back to his apartment. "Kate!" I pick up a lit candle and back up towards his collection of gunpowder barrels. The vampires move forward, I smirk as the push through. "Come on, ladies. Let's finish this." I take a breath as I drop the match, it was slow motion as the powder ignites and boom.

The Doctor stands, staring in horror at the sight of the house. Fay comes rushing back, "Momma!" She screams out, The Doctor stopping her from rushing forwards. Amy and Rory coming back with wide eyes, everyone watching and waiting. While the vampire queen starts up her device, a glow starts to form from the smoking house. Kate walks out like a total badass, without a scratch on her. The Doctor and Fay immediately rushing forward to reunite with her. She laughs as he picks her up and spins her around, "Don't you ever do that again!" He snaps before pulling her into a deep kiss. She nods, "I'm sorry." She uttered out as they pulled apart, "Momma." Fay utters, reaching for Kate. Kate smiles brightly as she picks up her little girl and spins her around. "Alright, we've got a problem to solve." Theta claps his hands together, Rory and Amy watching them in awe. They were a family, a beautiful, wonderfully insane family.

"Rosanna's initiating the final phase." Theta stated as we met up with them, "We need to stop her. Come on." Amelia starts, her body moving on its own but Theta stops her. "No, no, no. Get back to the Tardis." He uttered out, "You can't stop her on your own." She responds, "I'm not on my own, we don't discuss this! I tell you to do something, Amy, and you do it. Huh?" He yells as he points at her. She glares before storming off, "Thank you." Rory utters out as he follows after her. "You're welcome." Theta grunts out, he then grabs my hand and pulls me back towards the throne room.

"We've got work to do."

:••:••:••:••:

Theta opens the back of the throne, I watch as she enters the room. Fay stands behind the chair, to keep safe. "You're too late. Such determination, just to save one city. Hard to believe it's the same man and woman that let an entire race turn to cinders and ash. Now you can watch as my people take their new kingdom." She smiled smugly, "The girls have gone, Rosanna." I stated as I watched her, she scoffs, "You're lying." I raise an eyebrow as my eyes glow. "An I?" Her eyes widened in realization before she glares in anger. "Rosanna, please, help me. There are two hundred thousand people in this city." Theta utters out as he moves around me, "So save them." She taunts back with a laugh as she leaves. I turn to Fay, grabbing her and picking her up before Theta and I take off outside. We immediately head back inside at the same time as Amelia and Rory. While, people continue to shout and cry out. "Get out. I need to stabilise the storm." Theta demands, looking towards them in anger. "We're not leaving you." Rory yells back, I raise an eyebrow as he flinched at his own tone. "Right, so one minute it's all you make people a danger to themselves, and the next it's we're not leaving you. But if one of you gets squashed or blown up or eaten, who gets the..." The house shakes, almost knocking us off our feet.

I set Fay down so she can keep her balance incase I couldn't. "What was that?" Rory asked us, "Nothing. Bit of an earthquake." Theta shrugs as if it was no big deal. "An earthquake?" Amelia squawks out in shock, "Manipulate the elements, it can trigger earthquakes. But don't worry about them." Theta utters out as he looks up, "No?" Rory scoffs back with an eye roll. "No. Worry about the tidal waves caused by the earthquake. Right, Rosanna's throne is the control hub but she's locked the programme, so, tear out every single wire and circuit in the throne. Go crazy. Hit it with a stick, anything. We need it to shut down and re-route control to the secondary hub, which I'm guessing will also be the generator." Which is in the bell tower, where the bells are rocking and ringing. Fay stays with Amelia and Rory as I head up with Theta. The ringing of the bell annoying the shut out of us, "Shut up. Shut up. That's better." Theta starts to climb up the outside to the big metal lightning conductor, with the help of the power cable. "You moron!" I shout as he almost slips, he opens the brass ball to reveal clockwork. "Come on, my love." I shout up at him as the wind rushes through my hair. I look down at more shouting to see Amelia, Rory and Fay staring up at him as well. Cheering for him too, Theta finds a tiny switch and stops the mechanism. Instantly the rain ceases, the clouds vanish and birds start singing again. The people cheer and applaud, I let out a cheer as he starts to climb down. He lands, meeting me halfway as I pull him and his wet clothes into a deep kiss. "You did it!" I cheered as he laughed, he gently brushed my hair behind my ear. "I love you." He uttered out slowly, "I love you too." I leaned up to kiss him once more.

:••:••:••:••:

Rosanna cannot turn her perception filter off now. She undresses quickly, "Rosanna!" Theta snaps as he rushes towards her, I stay further back. "One city to save an entire species. Was that so much to ask?" She asked as she spun to face us. "I told you, you can't go back and change time. You mourn, but you live. I know, Rosanna. I did it." Theta uttered out lowly, giving her one chance. "Tell me, Doctor. Can your conscience carry the weight of another dead race? Remember us. Dream of us." Rosanna steps off the plank into the water, where her sons consume her. Theta and I watch her in silence, our faces set in stone; she didn't want to use that chance. Her own choice.

The Inspector gives Theta his deepest, most respectful bow. I snorted as his grimace, he then picks up Fay who was smiling at her father. "Now then, what about you two, eh? Next stop Leadworth Registry Office. Maybe I can give you away." Theta laughs as he bounces Fay, "It's fine. Drop me back where you found me. I'll just say you've..." Fay frowns as Amelia interrupts him. "Stay. With us. Please. Just for a bit. I want you to stay." Amelia utters with a smile, watching Rory. He turns to look at us as we all nodded, "Fine with me." Theta cheers out as she moves inside, "Yeah? Yes, I would like that." She leaves and I move to follow after her, taking Fay from Theta. "Nice one. I will pop the kettle on. Hey, look at this. We got our spaceship, got our boys. Our work here is done, isn't my daughter?" She laughs and nods as we follow Amelia inside. "Er, we are not their boys." I could hear Rory mutter faintly, "Yeah, we are." Theta immediately responds. "Yeah, we are."

Suddenly, Venice is empty of people. The Doctor stops Rory from filling the girls inside, "Rory, listen to that." He utters out with a frown. "Er, what? All I can hear is silence." The Doctors eyes glaze over at a memory that comes to the surface.

"There were cracks. Through some we saw Silence and the end of all things."

Here you guys go, another one out!

This one was a little different and I hope it turned out right.

Yeah, I couldn't stand Amelia in this one. Poor Rory. Plus, I didn't really like this episode.

Also, I've been thinking about adding a little smut since the technically have broken in these bodies yet.

Should I do it in the next episode? Or later? Or not at all?

When I tell you that Fay and Kate love Rory, they love him. He's gonna be like a brother to Kate, and an uncle to Fay. He definitely will be the first one to know Fay's secret when the time comes.

I hope you guys liked the chapter, if you have a questions don't hesitate to ask. Although, I must admit I may or my not be able to answer lol.

Btw, if anyone doesn't like Clara, I don't know if this is the story for you lol.

Just a little hint.

Thank you all for the love and support!!!
