{"That's cold even for you, my daughter."}

A restored Monarch and his guards charge through the building. "Out of my way!" King Charles yells as his way is blocked by a locked door. Inside the room, a large unfinished painting shows the naked Doctor as Neptune about to be crowned by a cherub. "Doctor! Doctor! Doctor! Doctor!" The irate king bursts in, sword drawn, and confronts the lady artist, who is possibly one of his many illegitimate children. "Where's the Doctor?" She laughs awkwardly, her pulse rising at the sight of the woman standing behind him. "Doctor who?" She asks gently, she had practically stolen him away from his wife and child. Shoved him into this room and lied that Kate would be along shortly. Stupidity, at its finest; he believed every word the woman said, including the fact that he had to blindfold himself for Kate.

He was a moron.

"Achoo!" The Doctor is hiding underneath Matilda's voluminous skirts. "You know, this isn't nearly as bad as it looks." Kate raises a brow at the man she loves, "Really?" She asks, crossing her arms and giving him a deadly look. His eyes widened in relief, "Kate! You're here! This mean woman...!" There was shouting of horror as The Doctor rushed towards Kate, all in his naked glory.

She was definitely having a field day with this one.

Amy is reading from a history book while Rory unpacks the shopping. "At the personal intervention of the King, the unnamed Doctor was incarcerated without trial in the Tower of London, his wife waiting on the outside. I bet Kate had a field day with him, but where is Fay?" Amy speaks up as she rereads the paper incase she missed something, but she didn't.

Fay wasn't mentioned at all.

"Okay, but it doesn't have to be him." Rory shrugs as he places the groceries in the cupboard. "According to contemporary accounts, two nights later, a magical sphere some twenty feet across, was seen floating away from the tower, bearing the mysterious Doctor and his wife aloft. "Okay. It's him." Rory agrees, Amy nods with a small smile. "There's more."

A classic World War 2 escape is in progress. "Kate. Doctor. Doctor, what can you see?" The Doctor's head appears from the top of the tunnel. "Is the commandant's office painted a sort of green colour with a big flag on the wall?" A siren sounds and dogs start barking. "I think the answer's probably yes."

"It's like he's being deliberately ridiculous, trying to attract our attention. And where is Fay? Are you watching this again?" A Laurel and Hardy film, most likely the Flying Deuces. "Yeah. I've explained the jokes." The doorbell rings and Amy answers it. The postman hands over some letters. "So what are you saying? Do you really think he's back there, trying to wave to us, out of history books?" Completely missing the Doctor in a fez waving to the viewer before joining in Stan and Ollie's dance. Kate, having rushed in and pulled him out; his lips pulling into a pout as the exited off the TV screen. "Hey, it's the sort of thing he'd do. Thanks." Amy smacks her husband on the chest, he rubs the spot with a frown. "Yeah, but why?" Rory asks, "Well, they said they'd be in touch." Amy replies with a shrug, "Two months ago." Rory deadpans, "Two months is nothing. They're up to something. I know they are. I know them." She opens an envelope with the number 3 on the back. "What is it? Amy?" Rory asks, Amy stares at it with a deep frown on her face.

"A date, a time, a map reference. I think it's an invitation."

"From who?"

"It's not signed. Look, Tardis blue."

The San Juan School District bus lets Rory and Amy off, with their backpacks. "Thanks!" Amy waves at the driver, "You're very welcome." He replies, waving back before he starts the bus up and takes off. "This is it, yeah? The right place?" Amy questions as she brushes her hair out of her face. "Nowhere, middle of? Yeah, this it." Rory grunts out, his eyes rolling. "Howdy." They turn to see the Doctor lying on the hood of a big American car. Kate is leaning against with a small smirk, her head cocked to the side. "Doctor! Kate!" The Doctor jumps off the hood and rushes towards her as Kate is pulled into a hug by Rory. "Ha, ha! It's the Pond." They laugh together,

"Hello, Pond. Come here." He pulls her into another hug. "So, someone's been a busy boy then, eh?" Amy smacks him, and points at him with a pointed look. "Did you see me?" The Doctor asks, his face pulling up into a wince. "Of course."

"Stalker."

"Flirt."

"Husband."

"Kate."

"Rory the Roman! Ooo, come here."

"Hey, nice hat."

"I wear a Stetson now. Stetsons are cool." Kate shakes her head, just as someone shoots it off him, "Hello, sweetie." She coos at him, her grunts slightly and hides behind Kate. "So, where's Fay?" Just like that, everyone turns to The Doctor and Kate; River with a dark frown on her lips. The couple shrugs before holding up a blue envelope, "We let her go off in her own this once; we been wasting time until we can go get her." Amy and Rory nodded, that explains a lot.

Rory frowns in realization, "Wait, you guys got one too?"

We arrive at a Lakeside, where a picnic is set up and Fay is standing there with her arms out. "Salud!" She shouts, only Theta and I still; Amy and Rory rush forward to hug her but not us. This wasn't our Fay, I mean she is...but she's older. Our Fay is younger and on her own adventure at the moment. "Salud!" Amy and Rory cheer together as Fay moves forward to pull us into a hug. "Hi, Mom. Dad. Don't worry, I'm okay. Just figured I'd join y'all for a little adventure." She smiles before turning towards River.

She was lying to us.

To me.

We all eventually settle down on the ground.

"So, when are going to 1969?"

"And since when do you drink wine? You're not old enough!" Rory insists as he stares at Fay in horror. "I'm four hundred and three. I must've drunk it sometime." He takes a swig from the bottle and spits it out. "Oh, why it's horrid. I thought it would taste more like the gums." She grumbles out, Amy looks confused; her eyes turning to us. "Four hundred and three? You were two hundred something, the last time we saw you." Amy speaks up, "She's from a different time." Theta and I explain as Fay opens her mouth, giving Amy a look. "And you've put on a couple of pounds. I wasn't going to mention it." Amy scoffs lightly before looking away, her eyes finding a strange figure is silhouetted on the skyline. "Who's that?" We all turn to face that direction, I see it. "Hmm? Who's who?" Rory asks, Amy blinks and forgets. Now, what kinda creature can do that to you? "Sorry, what?" She asks, looking between us with a frown. My eyes turned towards Fay who was already looking at me, the look in her eyes. I didn't like it. "What did you see? You said you saw something."

"No, I didn't."

"Ah, the moon. Look at it. Of course, you lot did a lot more than look, didn't you? Big, silvery thing in the sky. You couldn't resist it. Quite right." Theta smiles as Fay laughs, "The moon landing was in 69. Is that where we're going?" Rory asks her, raising a brow. "No. A lot more happens in 69 than anyone remembers. Human beings. I thought I'd never get done saving you." I definitely didn't like those words. A truck pulls up nearby and an old man steps out, Fay smiles widely and waves to him. "Who's he?" Amy asks, Rory spins towards the lake and his eyes widened.

"Oh, my God." A figure in a NASA spacesuit is standing up to its knees in the lake. Fay stands up, causing Theta and I to follow after her. "Mom.." Fay breaths out, turning to face me; I flinch back at the look in her eyes. She moves forwards, grabbing my hands and holding tight. "I need you to stay here. No matter what you see, you have to let it happen. I'm sorry." I frown, shaking my head. "What? No, way!" I flinch once more when I feel something. Something was wrong. Slowly looking down, I let out a small sob; a bio dampener; one that disconnected my powers. I slowly looked up as Theta moves forward, "Fay?" I uttered out slowly as I watched my daughter back away from me. She blinks back her tears, turning to face Theta. "Keep her back, this has to happen. I love you both... so much." A tear slips down her cheek as she backs away, "No! Fay!" I rush forward, Theta's arms wrapping around my waist to hold me back. "No! Don't! You can't! Please! Please don't do this to me!" I cried out as I watched my baby move towards the astronaut, who has stepped out of the water. "That's an astronaut. That's an Apollo astronaut in a lake. Doctor, Kate, what's happening? Why is Fay moving towards it?"

The astronaut raises its gold plated visor, We watch as Fay says something, then bows her head. "What's she doing?" Amy asks, I let out a scream of agony as the astronaut shoots my daughter. My babygirl. "Fay!" Amy rushes forwards, but River and Rory hold her back. I listen to Theta sob in my ear as I watch in horror as it shoots her once more, "She said stay back! You have to stay back!" Rory cries as I continue to try and fight against Theta. If she didn't put this damned bracelet on my wrist, then I could save her! Regeneration energy starts to flow from her hands. She slowly turns to look at us, "I'm sorry." The astronaut shoots again just as the regeneration starts properly. Another scream irrupts from my mouth as I watch her body fall to the ground in slow motion.

A sob escapes Theta's lips as he finally lets me go, we both take off towards our daughter. "Fay! My baby!" I land harshly on my knees as I pull my baby into my arms, "Fay?! Fay, wake up! Baby, please. Please don't do this to me!" I whimper out I run my fingers down her face. Her eyes are closed and I feel nothing, empty, numb. I could vaguely hear Theta crying beside me and the sound of shouting, but nothing more. Theta slowly moves around and pulls us into his chest as I give another yell, pulling her face into my chest.

My baby was dead.

I don't know how long we hold her, I don't care.

I slowly look up as I feel Theta shift from behind me; we both turn to see the old man approaching with a petrol can. I glare at him, he gives me a look of pity in response. "I believe I can save you some time. That most certainly is Fay and she is most certainly dead. She said you'd need this." He plays it beside us causing me to let out another sob. I tighten my grip on my daughter's body, shaking my head. "No." I snarl, "Gasoline?" Rory gaps in horror, "A Time Lord's body is a miracle. Even a dead one. There are whole empires out there who'd rip this world apart for just one cell. We can't leave her here. Or anywhere." River utters out slowly, trending on thin ice between us. I shudder out another breath, my hands running down her face once more before I look up. "There's a boat. If we're going to do this, let's do it properly." So, as the sun sets, Fay gets a Viking funeral. Theta doesn't let go of my hand as the others give us space, "I can't feel them. I can't feel her, this damned bracelet." Theta slowly lifts my hand and tries to pull it off, he whimpers lightly as he raises my hand to his forehead. "She bio coded it to herself, I'm sorry." I let out another sob, she was trying to save me. She knew I would destroy myself and take most of the universe with me.

"Who are you? Why did you come?" Rory asks, turning to the man. "The same reason as you." He holds out his blue invitation. "Doctor, Kate, Doctor Song, Amy, Rory. I'm Canton Everett Delaware the third. I won't be seeing you again, but you'll be seeing me." Delaware leaves, "Five." River breaths out, we all turn to her with a frown. "Sorry, what?" Amy asks, looking towards River who gives Theta and I a sad look. "Fay numbered the envelopes." I move forward, snatching it from her; I moved back towards Theta who pulls out our invitation. "River got 4, Rory and Amy were 3, Mister Delaware was 5 and we got 2.." I spoke up, my hearts pounding in my ears. "So?" Rory asks, "So, where's 1?" Theta questions for me. "What, you think she invited someone else?" Amy asks, looking between us. "Well, she must have. She planned all of this, to the last detail." River insisted. "It doesn't matter." I mutter, turning away and leaving the beach. I needed air, I needed space, I need my daughter back.

Ten minutes later, Theta and I stand outside a nearby diner. The Tardis was parked a little ways away as the other three argued behind us. I couldn't put up with them anymore, I needed to get away from them. Quickly, I make my way inside, stopping short at the sight of the blue envelope on a table near the back. Theta shudders out a small breath as we moved towards it, Rory, Amy and River following close behind us. "Excuse me, who was sitting over there?" Rory asks the nearby busgirl, she turns and gives a smile. "Some girl, said her parents would be in soon." My eyes glaze over as I shake my head, I remember this. I look away from the brown haired woman, towards Theta who watches me with his eyes wide eyes. Fay, had wanted to go out on her own; just once, said it was important and we let her.

We let her go.

"Fay knew she was going to her death, so she sent out messages. When you know it's the end, who do you call?"

"Er, your friends. People you trust, Family."

"Number 1. Who did Fay trust the most, other than her own parents?"

The person who comes out of the restroom, that's who... Fay stands there, younger than the one on the beach. I let out a cry as I rush forward, "Fay, my baby." I pulled her into a hug. "Mom? Dad? What's going on? I haven't been gone that long." She mutters out as she lets Theta join us in the hug. "That's cold even for you, my daughter. You're picking up bad habits from your father." I hissed at her, pulling away to get another look at her. She was beautiful, our beautiful girl. "Now, take this off, young lady." I demand, showing her the bracelet. She frowns but does as she is told, I take her in for another moment; feeling my powers, my emotions come back. I fight against it, a wince hissing out of my lips, before I turn and smack Theta. "Ow! What was that for?" He cried out, "I'm sorry, my love. I needed that. It was that or blow the diner up." I cried out, before rushing into his chest. He immediately wraps his arms around me in comfort. "Fay? You're okay. How can you be okay?"

"Hey, of course I'm okay. I'm always okay. I'm the Queen of Okay. Oh, that's a rubbish title, Dad's title, more like it." She mutters out, "Oi!" Theta cries out, turning to face our daughter; I let out a small laugh as I watch her turn to the others. "Rory the Roman! That's a good title. Hello, Rory. Amy, the Scottish Redhead and Doctor River Song."

"I don't understand. How can you be here?"

"I was invited. Date, map reference, told mom and dad, I could do this on my own, but they followed I see. Same as you lot, I assume, otherwise it's a hell of a coincidence." She grumbled out, crossing her arms with a pout. "River, what's going on?" Amy asks, River looks towards us as we watch Fay. "Rory, ask her what age she is." Theta and I flinch together, we had to keep this to ourselves. We had to close her off, this was now a permanent fixture in time. "That's a bit personal." Fay grumbles, moving around to sit in the booth. "Tell him. Tell him what age you are." I demanded as I moved to sit next to her, Theta coming in behind me. "Two hundred and six. Mom, you know that's a personal thing."

"Yeah, but you said you were..."

"So where does that leave us, huh? Jim the fish? Have we done Jim the fish yet?" River asks, we watch Fay turn her face up in disgust. "Who's Jim the fish?" She asks, and I shudder again. Theta and I watch as River pulls Amy and Rory off to the side to explain what is going on. "Yeah, you do." Rory practically shouts at Amy as Fay groans towards us. "I don't! What are we all doing here?" Theta spins to face our daughter. "We've been recruited. Something to do with space 1969, and a man called Canton Everett Delaware the third." He explains, throwing his hands out as he speaks. "Recruited by who?" Fay asks, crossing her arms and cocking her head. "Someone who trusts you more than anybody else in the universe." I tell her gently, she raised a brow at my words; blinking slowly for a moment before she speaks. "And who's that?" Fay asks, River speaks up.

"Spoilers."

"1969, that's an easy one! Funny, how some years are easy. Now, 1482, full of glitches. Now then, Canton Everett Delaware the third. That was his name, yeah? How many of those can there be? Well, three, I suppose." Theta smiles at me, Fay leans towards Rory with a small frown; her eyes scanning over everyone. "Rory, is everybody cross with me for some reason?" She asks gently, Amy, River and I move under the console. Rory clears his throat and follows after us, "I'll find out."

Rory and Amy stare at me as I stand there underneath the console. "Explain it again." Amy speaks up, her eyes sad. River sighs, "The Fay we saw on the beach is a future version, two hundred years older than the one up there." I explain to them, wiping my eyes quickly. "But all that's still going to happen. She's still going to die." Rory snapped in irritation, I wanted to smack the shit out of him, but I took a breath to hold it in.

I was holding it all in.

"You'll regret that."

"We're all going to do that, Rory." River grunts out, Rory scoffs in response and glares at her. "We're not all going to arrange our own wake and invite ourselves. So, Fay, in the future, knowing she's going to die, recruits her younger self and all of us to, to what, exactly? Avenge her?" Rory asks, looking towards me with a cock of his head, I shook my head. "No, if that was her point; she wouldn't have put that bracelet on me. I would've definitely destroyed the universe when she died, I'm trying really hard not to right now." They all stare at me in slight shock and horror, not that I care much. "Save her, then." Amy suggests, I sigh. "I'm working on it, but that's not really her style either." I explain, "We have to tell her." Rory insists, I shake my head. "We've told her all we can. We can't even tell her we've seen her future self. She's interacted with her own past. It could rip a hole in the universe."

"Yes, but ya'll done it before. This is your daughter!" I glare at her, "You think I don't know that, Amy! D and I are trying hard to hold it together, we are her parents! You have no idea what we feel or what we have to sacrifice with this! I'm angry, I'm hurt and I want nothing more to save my baby girl and I don't even know if I can without destroying life itself." I whisper shout to her, she finches back for a moment before she spots the tears in my eyes. Rory pulls me into a hug as I sob into his shoulder, this wasn't good; I could feel it. "And in fairness, the universe did blow up." Rory teases in my ear, I let out a small scoff, pulling away from him and wiping my eyes again. "But she'd want to know, wouldn't she?" Amy asks gently, I sigh and shake my head. "No, she wouldn't. I could see it in her eyes, she had already lived this." Amy and Rory nod in acknowledgment. "I'm being extremely clever up here, and there's no one to stand around looking impressed! What's the point in having you all?" Theta suddenly pops his head upside down as he stares at us. He lays on the floor to hold himself while Fay laughs above him.

"He's always been much stronger than me." I breath out as he yanks himself back up, I make my way back upstairs. "River, we can't just let her die. We have to stop it. How can you be okay with this?" Amy snarls towards River who flinches slightly, "Fay's death doesn't frighten me. Nor does my own. There's a far worse day coming for me."

When she finds out.

Two minutes later, Fay and Theta are bouncing around the console. "Time isn't a straight line. It's all bumpy wumpy. There's loads of boring stuff like Sundays and Tuesdays and Thursday afternoons. But now and then there are Saturdays. Big temporal tipping points when anything's possible. The Tardis can't resist them, like a moth to a flame. She loves a party, so I give her 1969 and NASA, because that's space in the sixties, and Canton Everett Delaware the third, and this is where she's pointing." Theta explains, his lips pulling into a small from when Fay steps in front of him. "Washington D.C., April the eighth, 1969. So why haven't we landed?" Amy asks, looking between us in confusion. "Because that's not where we're going."

"Oh. Where are we going?" Rory asks, cocking his head. "Home. Well, you two are. Off you pop and make babies. And you, Doctor Song, back to prison. And Mom, Dad and I? We're late for a biplane lesson in 1911. Or it could be knitting. Knitting or biplanes. One or the other." We all stare at Fay with raised eyebrows. Yes, Fay could fly the Tardis, but technically until she was older; it was still ours. The problem was, she would move from in front of Theta; standing in front of the lever. "What? A mysterious summons. You think we're just going to go? Who sent those messages? I know you know, Mom. I can see it in your faces. Don't play games with me, Dad Don't ever, ever think you're capable of that." She states, her face pulling into a glare as she backed Theta and I into a corner. I bump the railing and the Tardis groans when my hands touch it.

"You can't hide me, forever!"

"You're going to have to trust us this time." River speaks up, "Trust you? Sure. But, first of all, Doctor Song, just one thing. Who are you? You're someone from our future. Getting that. But who? Okay. Why are you in prison? Who did you kill, hmm? Now, I love a bad girl, me, but trust you? Seriously. You barely trust me, and you clearly don't like my mother, so..." She scoffs with and eye roll as she crosses her arms, Theta grabs my hand with a sad look on his face; he was about to speak up when Rory stepped forward. "Trust me." He states, we all stare at him with wide eyes. "Okay." Fay speaks slowly, looking between us and Rory. "You have to do this, and you can't ask why." She looks horrified, "Are you being threatened? Is someone making you say that?" Tears gather in my eyes as we shake our heads. "No."

"You're lying."

"I'm not lying."

"Swear to me. Swear to me on something that matters."

"Stars and planets." I flinch slightly at his words, Fay tears up with a small smile. He helped her set up the star and planet system in her room. It took them hours, she gives him a hug; before rushing into our arms. "My life in your hands, Rory Williams." I shoot him a grateful look, he gives me a nod and smile in response; both of our eyes shining with tears as Fay hugged herself into Theta and I. "Thank you." I breathed out, Theta quickly wipes his eyes and pulls away; giving her a kiss on the forehead. He moves towards the console, I continue to hold Fay tightly against my body.

My baby.

"So! Canton Everett Delaware the third. Who's he?"

Fay and I stand in front of a screen as we read off the man's information. "Ex FBI. Got kicked out." Theta leans around the console, giving us a raised eyebrow. "Why?" He asks us,

"Six weeks after he left the Bureau, the President contacted him for a private meeting." Theta and Fay hum at the same time, like father, like daughter. "Yeah, 1969. Who's President?" Rory perks up, he knew this! "Richard Milhous Nixon. Vietnam, Watergate." Rory answers, River lets out a small laugh; shaking her head. "There's some good stuff, too." River murmurs with a smirk, "Not enough." Theta grumbles out, his eyes rolling. "Hippie!" She snips towards him, trying to get him to flirt back, but she was shut down.

"Okay, since I don't know what I'm getting into this time, for once I'm being discreet. I'm putting the engines on silent." He pulls a lever and there is a wail, Fay quickly throws a different switch and it goes quiet. Theta pops around the console again, fake glaring at our daughter. "Did you do something?" He asks, she just gives him an innocent smile. "No, just watching." I snort, quickly looking away when he shoots me a look. "Putting the outer shield on invisible. I haven't done this in a while. Big drain on the power." Theta winced at her groan, "You can turn the Tardis invisible?" River asks, frowning slightly in annoyance at something she didn't know. "Ha!" Theta shouts, pulling a lever; it wasn't the right one. "Very nearly." Fay moves another lever with a smile, she loved messing with her dad. Especially, since I taught her to fly; Theta pouted for three weeks after, but it was worth it to watch them bond like this. "Er, did you touch something?" Theta asks me, I shake my head as Fay laughs. "Just admiring your skills, Dad." Fay replies, "Good. You might learn something your mom didn't teach you. Okay. Now I can't check the scanner. It doesn't work when we're cloaked. Just give us a mo. Whoa! Whoa, whoa, whoa. You lot, wait a moment. We're in the middle of the most powerful city in the most powerful country on Earth. Let's take it slow." Theta steps out of the Tardis.

"Tik Tok, Queen of Gallifrey."

Nixon and Canton are listening to a recording as Theta, Fay and I step out quietly. "Hello? Who is this? This is President Nixon. Who's calling? Is this you again?" President Nixon's voice comes over the recording, "Mister President?" I shiver at the girls voice, it sounded evil, but familiar. "A child." Canton breaths out, Nixon nods but doesn't take his eyes off the recorder. Theta perks up, quickly turning towards me and reaching into one of my pockets. "Knew you'd have a spare!" He pulls out a notepad with a wink, "This is the President, yes." We turn our attention back to the situation in front of us as Fay watches quietly; a small frown on her face. "I'm scared, Mister President. I'm scared of the spaceman." The girl cries out, I wanted to feel sorry for her; I really did, but her voice. I don't trust her. "A little girl?" Canton asks, "Boy." Nixon corrected, the three of us shake our heads in response. It was a little girl, that much was known; apparently by everyone, but the president. "How can you be sure?" Canton asks, the recording continues.

"What spaceman? Where are you phoning from? Where are you right now? Who are you?" Theta is quietly writing on the notepad, he was getting in the bits; just like back when that guy wrote one for us, because of the Weeping Angels. "Jefferson Adams Hamilton." I frown as Nixon gestures, indicating why he 'knows' the voice is a boy, but the pauses are too long.

All three names, not just one full name.

"Jefferson, listen to me." The child hangs up and the call ends, Nixon sighs as he continues to grace the window. A reason we haven't gotten caught, yet. "Surely this is something the Bureau could handle, sir." Canton insists, "These calls happen wherever I am. How do I know the Bureau isn't involved? I can't trust anyone..." Nixon turns around and sees us, his eyes widen and it gains the attention of Canton who stands and turns, too. Theta keeps writing, I bump him; he slowly looks up. "Right, we've been caught I see." He mutters out, before giving an awkward smile. "Oh. Hello. Bad moment. Oh look, this is the Oval Office. We were looking for the er, Oblong Room. We'll just be off, then, shall we?" He laughs, turning and walks smack into the cloaked Tardis, causing a big jolt inside.

I smack my hand against my forehead, "Every time, my love. You really don't have to do it for F..." I stop, looking towards my daughter who is silently laughing so hard; her face is red. "Nevermind." I murmured out, I'm gonna have to look at the memory back now. Theta has totally done that one to many times for Fay. "Don't worry! It always does that when it's cloaked." Canton wrestles Theta to the floor as we watch. "Ah, no. Stop that." Soon, the secret service run in and grab Fay and I; Theta fights harder at the sight of us being held. "Stop that! Argh! Oh!" I just sigh before turning to face the Tardis. "Sweetheart, make her blue again!" My eyes glow, connecting to her, she groans a little in annoyance before shimmering back into the visible spectrum. "What the hell is that?" While they were distracted, Theta, Fay and I slip out of their grasps. Theta smiles and runs to slid into Nixon's chair as they all stare at the Tardis in awe.

"Mister President, that child just told you everything you need to know, but you weren't listening. Never mind, though, because the answer's yes. I'll take the case. Fellows, the guns, really? I just walked into the highest security office in the United States and parked a big blue box on the rug. Do you think you can just shoot me?" They all turn to face him, he has a cocky smirk on his face and his feet on the desk. Fay and I were enjoying watching him be...well, him. Amy and Rory look scared and River looks annoyed, "They're Americans!" She snarls in irritation. "Don't shoot. Definitely no shooting." Theta winks at us, clicking his tongue. I smile, making my way around to the back of his chair; where I lean against it, placing my hands on his shoulders. "Nobody shoot us either. Very much not in need of getting shot. Look, we've got our hands up." Rory speaks up, Fay moves to sit on the desk. "Who the hell are you?" Nixon asks, glaring at us as Fay starts kicking her feet back and forth. "Sir, you need to stay back." Canton demands as he steps in front of the president. River, Amy and Rory are still standing in front of the Tardis with their hands up. "But who are they and what is that box?"

"It's a police box. Can't you read? I'm your new undercover agent on loan from Scotland Yard, this is my best agent and our lovely daughter; it's take your kid to work day. Code name the Doctor, the witch, and little league. These are my top operatives, the Legs, the Nose, and Mrs Robinson." Fay turns to shoot her father a glare, "I hate you." Fay grunts out to her father who laughs, "No, you don't." He smiles, River huffs from off to the side since Fay had stolen her thunder. "Who are you?" Nixon asks again, his arms crossing over his chest. "Nah, boring question. Who's phoning you? That's interesting. Because Canton Three is right. That was definitely a girl's voice, which means there's only one place in America she can be phoning from." I spoke up, leaning my chin on my hand as I raised a brow at them. "Where?" Canton asks us, a secret service agent steps in front of him; glaring at us as well. "Do not engage with the intruder, Mister Delaware." Theta raises a brow, "You heard everything I heard. It's simple enough. Give me five minutes, I'll explain. On the other hand, lay a finger on me,my family or my friends, and you'll never, ever know." He snarls, his eyes growing dark in anger as he eyes the guns pointed in our direction. "How did you get it in here? I mean, you didn't carry it in." Canton asks, "Clever, eh?"

"Love it."

"Do not compliment the intruder."

"Five minutes?"

"Five."

"Mister President, that man is a clear and present danger to..." Canton stops the man, turning to the President. "Mister President, that man walked in here with a big blue box and three of his friends, and that's the man he walked past. One of them's worth listening to. I say we give him five minutes. See if he delivers." Canton gives us a shrug, Theta smiles at the man. "Thanks, Canton." He breaths out in gratitude, Canton scoffs under his breath. "If he doesn't, I'll shoot him myself." Theta immediately frowns in sadness and slight annoyance. "Not so thanks." He grumbles, "Sir, I cannot recommend..." Nixon was the one to interrupt him this time, his eyes glaring at the agent. "Shut up, Peterson! All right, five minutes." Theta immediately perks up, like a little puppy. "I'm going to need a SWAT team, ready to mobilise. Street level maps covering all of Florida. A pot of coffee, twelve Jammie Dodgers and a fez." There was a small pause, Fay lets out a tiny sneeze. "Get him his maps and bless you."

Later, everyone is around the table looking down at the maps. "Why Florida?" Canton asks the time family trio, "There's where NASA is. She mentioned a spaceman. NASA's where the spacemen live. Also, there's another lead I'm following." The Doctor explains to him, "A spaceman, like the one we saw at the lake." Amy speaks up, River sighs with a shrug. "Maybe. Probably." Amy sees a figure in a suit at the open door. It has a large head with sunken eyes and no mouth, and very long fingers. She recalls the sighting at the lake, "I remember." Rory turns to look at Amy with a confused from. "Amy? What do you remember?" The figure is gone. "I don't know. I just..." She pauses and lets out a small grunt, Rory looks towards his wife. "Amy, what's wrong?" Everyone turns in their direction, River grows worried as well. "Amy?" The Doctor frowns, "Are you all right?" He asks, Amy smiles. "Yeah. No, I'm fine. I'm just feeling a little sick. Excuse me, is there a toilet or something?" The secret agent from before, Carl, shakes his head in denial. "Sorry, ma'am, while this procedure's ongoing, you must remain within the Oval Office." Canton scoffs and rolls his eyes in annoyance, "Shut up and take her to the restroom." Carl shuts his mouth with an annoyed expression on his face. "This way, ma'am." Another agent, Phil, leads her out. "Thanks." Amy leaves. Carl stops Rory from following, Canton turns to the Time Family. "Your five minutes are up." The Doctor glares, "Yeah, and where's my fez?"

Five minutes later, the telephone rings. "The kid?" Canton asks, "Should I answer it?" Nixon asks, looking at everyone with wide eyes. "Here! The only place in the United States that call could be coming from. See? Obvious, when you think about it." Amy and Phil return, "You, sir, are a genius." Theta smiles, shrugging lightly with a bashful smile. "It's a hobby." He smiles at me and I smile right back, he's perfect. "Mister President, answer the phone." Canton demands, Nixon nods and answers it. "Hello. This is President Nixon." There is a small pause before a girl speaks up over the phone. "It's here! The spaceman's here! It's going to get me! It's going to eat me!" She shouts and cries at the same time, Theta frowns before grabbing Fay's hand and pushing me towards the Tardis; following close behind. "There's no time for a SWAT team. Let's go. Mister President, tell her help's on the way. Canton, on no account follow me into this box and close the door behind you." Theta speaks as we rush inside, "What the hell are you doing?" Canton runs into the Tardis behind Amy, Rory and River who had run in after us, Theta throws the switch and it dematerializes.

"Mister President, please help. Please help me!"

"Jefferson, it's all right. I'm sending my best people."

"Jefferson isn't a girl's name. It's not her name either. Jefferson, Adams, Hamilton. Fay." Theta shouts, spinning in a circle as he points to her. She smiles at her father and speaks up, "Surnames of three of America's founding fathers." I hummed lightly in agreement as I spoke up this time. "Lovely fellows. Two of them fancied me." Theta freezes, his face growing dark as a pout slips onto his lips. "You're mine. They don't stand a chance." Theta grunts, pulling me in by the waist. I let out a small laugh, as I leaned up and kissed him. "Of course, I love you, Theta." I cooed out, his smile brightens. "I love you too, My Nora." Our attention is pulled towards Rory and Canton, the older man now gapping at our home in awe. "Are you okay? Coping?" Rory asks, "You see, the President asked the child two questions. Where are you and who are you? She was answering where." Theta asks, pulling away from me. "It's bigger on the inside." Canton breaths out as he spins in a small circle, Rory laughs, patting him on the shoulder. "Yeah, you get used to it." Fay clears her throat, turning to face her father with a smile. "Now, where would you find three big, historical names in a row like that?"

"Where?" Amy asks, Theta pulls another lever and we land. "Here. Come on." Theta skips out, "It's er..." Canton draws to a stop as I turn to face Rory with a small laugh. "Are you taking care of this?" I ask gently, looking between the couple. "Why is it always my turn?" Rory asks, his face pulling up into discomfort as Amy looks towards him with a raised brow. "Because you're the newest." Amy pats his shoulder as we all exit the door into a dingy, cluttered abandoned warehouse. "Where are we?" Fay asks, looking between Theta and I. "About five miles from Cape Kennedy Space Centre. It's 1969, the year of the moon. Interesting, don't you think?" Theta speaks exactly as he grabs Fay's hands and swings them back and forth. "But why would a little girl be here?" I ask gently, a frown pulling onto a face as I look around the dark place. "I don't know. Lost me a bit. The President asked the girl where she was, and she did what any lost little girl would do. She looked out of the window." Where the street sign points to Hamilton Av, Jefferson St and Adams St. "Streets. Of course, street names."

"The only place in Florida, probably all of America, with those three street names on the same junction." He paused, slowly turning to look towards me. "Beautiful, you've got that face on again." I raise a brow as I stare my soulmate down. "What face, exactly, my love?" I asked, "The he's hot when he's clever face." He fixes his bow tie, and I let out a small laugh; moving forward to be chest to chest with him. "That's my normal face, sugar." I purred out gently, my fingers dancing up his neck. He shivers slightly, "Yes, it is." I let out a laugh as I pull him into a kiss, "You're such a cheeseball." I muttered, pulling away from him. He nods with a smile, "You know it." We pull away as Rory finally gets Canton out of the Tardis. "We've moved. How, how can we have moved?" Canton asks, my eyes make eye contact with River who was glaring heatedly back. "You haven't even got to space travel yet?" Theta asks, I ignore her look and follow after Fay and Theta. "I was going to cover it with time travel." Rory grunts out, "Time travel." Canton breaths out in shock. "Brave heart, Canton. Come on."

"So we're in a box that's bigger on the inside, and it travels through time and space."

"Yeah, basically."

"How long have Scotland Yard had this?"

"They don't. We do."

"It's a warehouse of some kind. Disused." Amy speaks up, moving to stand next to us. "You realise this is almost certainly a trap, of course?" Theta asks, looking back at everyone. "I noticed the phone, yes." River speaks up, taking her chance. "What about it?" Amy asks, "It was cut off. So how did the child phone from here?" Fay speaks up, her statement turning into a question. "Okay, but why would anyone want to trap us?" Amy asks,

"Let's see if anyone tries to kill us and work backwards." I shiver slightly as I turn to look into the shadows, my eyes glowing, something was watching us. "Now, why would a little girl be here?" I muttered out, my voice dry. "I don't know. Let's find her and ask her."

We come across some technology, Theta leans down to check it out, and River immediately pushes Fay and I aside to help him out. Child. "It's nonterrestrial. Definitely alien. Probably not even from this time zone." She speaks up, raising a brow at Theta who laughs awkwardly. "Which is odd, because look at this!" He runs over excitedly to a crate of spacesuits. "It's earth tech. It's contemporary." I speak up, "It's very contemporary. Cutting edge. This is from the space program."

"Stolen?"

"What, by aliens?"

"Apparently."

"But why? I mean, if you can make it all the way to Earth, why steal technology that can barely make it to the moon?"

"Maybe because it's cooler? Look how cool this stuff is."

"Cool aliens?" Amy asks, scoffing. "Well, what would you call me?" Theta asks, fixing his bowtie again. "An alien." Amy replies dryly, Theta gaps in horror. "Oi! Babe!" He cries out, moving over to me with a pout. I laugh, my eyes taking notice of Rory and Canton who have finally met up with us. "I, er, I think he's okay now." Rory utters out awkwardly, "Ah! Back with us, Canton." Theta laughs, smacking him on the shoulder. Fay laughs gently at her father, "I like your wheels." Canton starts gently, his shoulders shrugging. "That's my boy. So, come on. Little girl. Let's find her." Amy and River examine the alien tech, which has a lot of gunk and slime associated with it. Rory and Fay move away to take a look at the strewn wreckage off to the side as Theta, Canton and I move around. Theta uses his screwdriver to scan the area; pausing for split seconds to check the readings. A frown on his face, before he turns again and moves on.

We come upon a manhole cover, "Guys, over here!" I call out. "So where does that go?" Theta asks, his voice curios as he uses his sonic to light the dark tunnel in the ground. Fay and Rory lean over my shoulder while River and Amy do the same over Theta's. "There's a network of tunnels running under here." River reads off her scanner after taking a moment to scan the darkness. "Life signs?" I ask, raising a brow. "No, nothing that's showing up." River replies, "Those are the worst kind." River prepares to go down. Amy watches her with a worried look, "Be careful." Amy speaks up, River flinches slightly. "Careful? I tried that once. Ever so dull." She grunts out, "Shout if you get in trouble." Theta grumbled out, still messing with his sonic, frowning at the scans. "Don't worry, I'm quite the screamer. Now there's a spoiler for you."

"Tell me what's going on here." Canton demands, Theta frowns in disgust and disbelief as he looks towards the man in horror. "Er, nothing. She's just an acquaintance, of that. This is my wife, my beautiful woman and our daughter..." Rory sighs, patting him on the shoulder. "I think he's talking about the possible alien incursion." Rory mutters, "Okay." Theta draws out, nodding lightly. "So, I was in a bar having a drink. Tell me, honestly, Am I still there?" Amy smiles sarcastically, "Afraid not." River returns in a hurry.

"All clear. Just tunnels. Nothing down there I can see. Er, give me five minutes. I want to take another look around." We all frown at her, she just smiles in response and moves to go back down the tunnel. "Stupidly dangerous!" Amy shouts down to her, "Yeah, I like it too. Amy, look after him." River goes back down. "Rory, would you mind going with her?" Amy asks her husband, he winces slightly in fear. "Yeah, a bit." He grunts out, she smiles and gives him a kiss. "Then I'd appreciate it all the more." She coos to him, he's drawn in immediately. "Hang on, River. I'm coming too." He groans out, following after her into the darkness.

Five minutes later, we are exploring further into the warehouse. "So, you were kicked out of the FBI because you had attitude problems?" Amy asks Canton, as they walked a little bit in front of us. "No, I just wanted to get married." Amy raises a brow with a small smirk, "Is that a crime?" She asks him, Canton comes to a stop causing us to all stop. "Yes. Doctor who, exactly?" He asks Theta and I, Fay laughs gently. "Ah. That's classified." She lets out, "Classified by who?" Fay, Theta and I end up moving away from them. Our attention is pulled towards a chair filled with wires and a whole bunch of tubes. It looked like it held something down, or someone.

I really didn't like that at all.

Amy and Canton catch up with us, "Stuff does that." Canton finishes off, her face pulling to a frown as his eyes spot what we are looking at, before we could speak. "Help me! Help! Help me!" It was the little girl, "That's her." Amy suddenly doubles over. "Amy?" Fay and Theta calls out at the same time in shock. "Help me! Please!" My head moves back and forth between them and the little girl. "What's wrong?" Theta asks, "I need to tell you something. It's important." Amy cries out as she looks between us in fear. Canton takes off, "Doctor!" He shouts, trying to get us to follow after him. "It's really, really important." Amy speaks up, stopping us from going after him. "Doctor, quickly!" Theta groans, grabbing Amy and pulling her along; she could wait a moment. "What, now?" We run through the warehouse to find Canton on the floor.

"Canton! Canton, are you okay?" Fay asks, her legs slamming down onto the floor as she skids into his unconscious body. "Is he all right?" Amy asks, my eyes glow again. "Just unconscious. Got a proper whack." I speak up, "Kate, Doctor, I need to tell you something. I have to tell you it now." Amy grabs us both, pulling us into face her. She looks terrified, "Not a great moment." Theta tells her with a frown, "No, it's important. It has to be now." She insisted, "Help! Help me! Help me!" We move to turn to face the sound of the young girls voice, but Amy pulls us back "Kate. Doctor, I'm pregnant." We stare at her in shock, as heavy footsteps approach from behind us. "What?" Fay asks in shock, Amy spots something behind us. "That's it. The astronaut." We spin to face the astronaut as it points at us. Amy reaches for Canton's gun. The astronaut raises its visor - it is the little girl. "Help me!"

"Get down!"

"What are you doing?"

"Saving your life!"

"No!"

Amy shoots at the astronaut, and screams.

"Queenie!"
