And now, the ballad of Will Gardner.
What?! No, I don't know anything about that guy.
…
Fine!
…
Uhm.. he was from Baltimore, he was an Orioles fan, I guess…What else? What else? In love with my mom…supposedly.
…
You know what I remember from him? He never looked me in the eye. Only saw him maybe twice, once in my mom's office, he walked past it very fast. The other occasion was election night, we were running around courtroom to courtroom to validate a ballot box…or was it to make it null? Anyway, doesn't matter, it was Will, Diane, Robin, mom, Zach and me.
Zach had to testify in court for dad. Will had no problem hyping him out to take the stand, but he kept shying away from me. It was bluntly obvious when Will and mom had to go somewhere else, they were in a hurry. I told my mom we can drive her there, but no, it'd be faster if Will took her in his car. I looked at him directly, he looked at the ground as he pulled my mom away.
…
Whatever, he died a long time ago.
