Ricardo sighs as he leans against Alicia on their couch, watching the puppies frolic around on the floor at their feet. "This is unbelievable," he mumbles to her, watching as their fingers lace together, her warm, soft skin against his soothing him slowly.

"I know," she says, breathing softly. "I couldn't believe it when I was watching Elimination Chamber. Like, what in the world must AJ be thinking now?" She shakes her head. "Mike and her just went through all of this barely a year ago, and now it's going to start all over again. So crazy."

Ricardo hums, having spent the last few days mulling over exactly that thing while she was on the road with WWE. "I feel bad for all of them. Heath, too. Imagine having both of your children claimed by another man for the sake of a reality show? On some level, I understand why everyone's made the choices they have, but what a mess."

She nods. "Imagine if the truth came out now, and considering how all over the place TMZ and places like that are, it's almost surprising it hasn't happened sooner."

Ricardo hums and closes his eyes, ghosting his hands down her sides, feeling her shiver and sigh softly. "Yeah, I know. They're really risking so much with all of this, and the longer it goes on, and the more kids are involved, the more likely it's going to be that it comes out sooner rather than later."

Alicia grimaces, tilting her head back to look at him. "Yeah. I just can't believe it's all happening again." She eases his hand up and kisses his palm. "I'm so glad we're mostly drama free."

"Me too." He pauses, more thoughts rattling around in his head the last few days that he's unsure how she'll take should he say them aloud. Swallowing hard, he decides to try to explain anyway. "You know, all of this made me really think. As much as I want kids someday, I'm really glad we're waiting. Between my health issues, and your work, and just... the state of the world today..." He shakes his head. "It's not a good time at all."

She nods, nuzzling against the side of his face. "Yeah," she says softly. "I'm glad too. When we're ready, we'll know, but I'm more than ok with waiting too. Besides, we have these adorable puppies to spoil right now, huh?" She giggles, lightly poking at the nearest dog with her toes, watching him bat at her foot. He shifts and turns to look at her and she smiles at him, cupping his face. "I love you."

"I love you too," he murmurs back, smiling slightly when she leans in and kisses him. "I guess all we really can do is hope for the best and support everyone as well as we can, huh?"

"Yeah, same as always," she says, resting her forehead against his and staring into his eyes. "It'll work out. One way or another."

He nods, finding comfort and consolation from her presence, kissing her slowly, deeply, as she clings to him and hums, her eyes fluttering shut.
