At the civil guard training camp, Lieutenant Graham was reviewing some documents when the phone in his office started ringing.

When he answered, his calm face began to change into a completely angry one, although he remained calm at all times.

When his call came to an end he sighed and gave the order to his men to follow Umbrella's instructions in order to rescue Franz's wife, although he was angry at what he did.

He couldn't complain since he would receive two Soviet spy satellites in exchange while he would only have to hand over a communications satellite for Umbrella's use, so it was an equitable exchange.

With only the condition of closing his eyes to Umbrella's use of the force, Dean Domino had also insulted a group of bigwigs when he kidnapped Vera Keyes.

So eliminating him was mandatory since even if Franz didn't do it he would have to do it by orders from above.

Vera, who was tied by her hands and with her eyes covered, sobbed silently because if she made a noise she would be hit again by her captors.

In that situation where she was, she only put her hopes in Franz, since at the end of the day he was the father of the child in his womb.

Although she is not proud of the decision she made, upon seeing Franz's business card she decided not to take the medicine that could prevent a possible pregnancy, however her small action resulted in her becoming pregnant.

She now could only wait as the black Corvenga moved down the road.

Upon arriving at her destination, Vera was picked up by a couple of men who threw her over a small mound of gravel that hurt her back, but her complaints were silenced by the rag in her mouth.

Dean, who was looking at Vera, was trying to control his anger because he wanted to just shoot her in the head and end everything once and for all.

But if he did it that way it wouldn't eliminate the hatred in her heart, he wanted to simply make her suffer and when Vera had broken with her he would simply show her that he owned her.

Unfortunately he couldn't continue thinking about her revenge fantasy when he heard the sound of gunshots outside Mass Gravel and Sand.

He angrily asked one of the hitmen he had hired if they knew who was attacking them, but the hitman simply shook his head since no one was supposed to have followed them.

From the APC that was parked, Walter went down with the rest of the Umbrella soldiers who, armed with their 10mm machine guns, shot at the hitmen who were entrenched in some areas of the place.

The hitmen who were armed with machine guns and pistols did everything possible to kill the Umbrella soldiers.

But their training was poor and many of them died from precise shots that pierced their skulls, leaving only blood and pieces of brain protruding from their heads.

The confrontation was still in progress when Walter, walking calmly, began to move his hands, revealing the subtle metal threads that began to claim the life of the defenders.

It didn't matter if they were hidden or not, their lives were harvested by the angel of death who at every step left only a path of corpses.

Soon the defense line collapsed so Walter advanced towards Dean who, in desperation, grabbed Vera from the ground and placed her gun to his head.

"Take one more damn step and I'll smash his head in!"

Walter smiled and after adjusting his monocle he took out a cigarette which he lit. Dean didn't understand the behavior of the damn guy in front of him but he had his finger on his 10mm pistol.

Breathing out the smoke in his lungs, Walter moved his head to the side. "You simple mad dog dares to put your hands on the mother of the next generation of the Whittingham family.

So you should put down the weapon before you hurt yourself."

Dean began to tremble with fear because the man's eyes told him that he would die, so swallowing, he tightened his grip on the gun. "One more word and she dies."

Walter with his smile took a step and threw the cigarette away from him. "With what hands do you plan to do that?"

Dean then watched as both of his hands fell to the ground. His brain took a while to process what had happened but when the signal of pain came he could only scream as he writhed on the floor in a small puddle of his blood.

Walter, for her part, just walked towards Vera and picked her up in her hands. "Young lady you no longer have to be afraid, I, Walter C. Dornez, butler of the Whittingham family, will guarantee her safety.

Until the arrival of young Mr. Franz so she can rest."

With those words Vera Keyes began to cry, feeling how the chain that Dean put on her disappeared so that for the first time in a long time she was free of it.
