HATSUME

When an explosion blasted the support department doors open, Izuku shoved Kaminari aside with precisely enough force for him to escape the large projectile flying towards out of the building. Said projectile knocked Izuku backwards but caused less physical damage than he had calculated on account of the projectile's prodigious chest.

As the smoke cleared, Izuku stared up into yellow, cross-hair eyes. He was halfway through calculating the precision of Hatsume's Quirk when she pinched the skin on his chest.

"Polymer weave, with synthetic hairs embedded in the material. Almost indistinguishable from human skin." She grabbed his hands and bent one of the fingers, watching every movement with hawk-like scrutiny. "Thin metal exoskeleton, solid, but bends seamlessly with every movement. Nanobots, maybe?"

She pried Izuku's eyelids further apart and peered into his eyeballs. "The level of detail on the optical lenses, iris striation, the pupils dilate with additional light. Eyes even twitch under strain."

Mei sat up and grinned at him. Kaminari's jaw dropped at the sight of her half-singed uniform that looked ready to fall off at the slightest breeze.

"You are the most gorgeous baby I have ever seen," Hatsume said. "Who made you?"

Off to the side, Kaminari choked on his own tongue.

Izuku cocked his head to one side. "I have never considered it. I suppose that would be my mother."

Hatsume grabbed him by the shoulders. "How soon can I meet her?"

While Kaminari suffered a coughing fit, Izuku checked his mother's calendar. "Would after school tomorrow be sufficiently soon enough?"

Hatsume grabbed his arms, pulled him up, and swept him around in a circle. Cackling madly, she shouted, "Oh yes, we're going to make so many beautiful babies together!"

A loud crack of thunder shook U.A.'s campus. Kaminari, smoking slightly from his sudden outburst, pitched forward and fell on his face.

Hatsume stared down at Kaminari's smoking body and asked, "That wasn't one of my babies, right?"

The next day, Nezu sipped his favorite tea browsed his security feed, watching prominent politicians and notorious villains alike go about their daily business. On a whim, he checked in on Inko Midoriya's residence.

His teacup shattered on the floor.

At the dining room table, Inko Midoriya and Mei Hatsume chatted eagerly over blueprints of gadgets that even Nezu's Quirk-enhanced mind couldn't comprehend. Nezu dialed a number and asked, "Power Loader, how soon could you have a self-sufficient space station ready?"

"Depends. What do you need on board?"

"Myself, Aizawa's scarf, a chess board, and five-hundred years' worth of tea."

"Hmm… I have a project in storage I could repurpose. It would be ready in about four months."

Nezu checked the footage. Hatsume and Inko were welding together weapons with payloads powerful enough to wipe Japan off the map. "Do it in three, please."
