Red Roses is a success. All Riicardo can do afterwards, after the building is emptied back out and the ring is taken down and everything is handled with the wrestlers, referees and other staff, is stand there and take it all in, remember the last few hours, how everything had been so desperate but ended up going so well. He feels... proud. Fulfilled. In ways he knows he wouldn't have before his recovery. He realizes he's smiling at the wall when Alicia sneaks up behind him and hugs him. "Hey," he says softly, running his hand up and down her arm.
"Hey," she echoes back, kissing his cheek. "How are you feeling?"
"Incredible," he sighs. "I had hopes today would go well, but I never imagined this well."
"I'm so proud of you," Alicia says, leaning into him with a pleased smile. "I knew it would go well, beyond your expectations. But still, it's nice to see you so happy with it all."
He turns and wraps an arm around her, pulling her up to stand next to him, lean into him. "All because of you," he says. When she shrugs, he squeezes her tighter. "I mean it. You and the kids, you're my inspiration for everything. My recovery, my moving to Pennsylvania, my opening this place. I... I don't know where I'd be without you," he confesses quietly. "My life was a mess after Alberto and Paige. You... you put me on the right track, helped me to see I could be more even without them."
Alicia purses her lips, looking at him. "I think you would've made it there without me, eventually, but I'm very glad I was here to help streamline the process."
He smiles down at her before leaning in to kiss her. "So am I," he murmurs. "So am I."
She hums and kisses him back, smiling. "Now what do you say we go home and celebrate a bit?" She winks at him, then laughs as he immediately turns them towards the door.
