We don't owe Total Drama, only our OCs.
"We've been to Hawaii with 20 contestants, but this time, we're here in Toronto, Ontario, to start off our new season of Total Drama!" Chris began with an excited grin on his face. "Last time, we had 20 contestants travel to Honolulu, Hawaii for an epic competition to compete for 1 million dollars! We had two teams, the Fantastic Flamingos, and the Pretty Peacocks, led by Joseph and Rebekah respectively. Tensions began to rise on the Flamingos after Joseph happened to pick Lucille last for his team, and they did have a few arguments. It seemed like both teams were evenly matched with wins and losses, and we had quite the quirky cast, including a terrorist, who tried to take over the show, a clown who drove everyone insane, and even a psychotic alternate personality! Luckily, Demetrius was stopped and arrested and now has to deal with Terra watching over him, hehe, good luck dude! Really hoping we don't have any terrorists this season. But in the end, it came down to our two finalists; tribal chief Joseph, and mob boss Brittany, with Joseph taking the win after a very dramatic and intense challenge! Joining me are my fabulous assistants, Chef Hatchet, along with his niece, and fresh from their honeymoon, we've got Johan and Jenny, with Johan now being an established, famous musician! He'll be here from time-to-time due to touring and all that, but it's good to have most of the gang back together!"
"Glad to be here again, Chris," Alexis let out, standing with her uncle.
"Yeah, glad to see you too, Alexis. However! Let's talk about this season! We've got 12 contestants from the previous season, and they'll be going up against 12 newbies, as we travel all around Canada, as they face challenges that incorporate the cultures and locations of this incredible country! Not only that, but the prize has also increased, to 2 million dollars! That's double the amount from the previous season! We've got drama! We've got heartbreak! Epic hookups! Torture, and so much more! So buckle up, as we get ready for a brand new season of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 1: Starting and Restarting
On a Yacht…heading to Toronto, Ontario
Brittany Drake would be at the bow of the yacht, looking at the waters. She looked completely different from the previous season, now wearing a trendy black top, with a white ruffled skirt, a pair of white socks, and white studded sneakers. She also wore a silver heart necklace around her neck, which wasn't a gift from her boyfriend; in fact, it was from her late father.
"Brittany?" a voice would be heard from behind her.
The mob boss turned and saw Lucille, who was now wearing a pretty purple sundress with white sandals, and a pretty purple butterfly necklace on a silver chain, made out of 14K white gold, and a simple 14K rose gold band on her right ring finger.
"Lucille. I'm shocked Joseph isn't here," the mob boss commented.
"He's actually going pro with American football. He signed up for the Kansas City Chiefs," Lucille replied.
Brittany smirked playfully. "I'm not surprised. He was literally built like a tank."
"That's for sure," Lucille smiled a bit, blushing.
"Honestly, I'm happy for you two."
"You are?" Lucille asked.
"Yeah. And I'm sorry about how I played before."
"I think it might take the others a while to forgive you," Lucille let out, crossing her arms. "You didn't bring Avalanche with you."
"Nah, she's at home with Vincent and the others. I wanted to do this season without one of my dogs," the mob boss let out.
"I was actually surprised to hear that you got with your second-in-command, even after…"
"He was mind controlled by that freak," Brittany hissed. "He wasn't himself."
"Right, right, sorry. It must be hard for him with the painful memories."
"It was, especially for Zachariah."
"You mean the guy who was that movie star's ex?" Lucille asked.
"How did you know?" Brittany raised an eyebrow.
"Their breakup was all over gossip magazines," Lucille deadpanned.
"I didn't take you for a girl who reads those," Brittany let out.
"I mean, I don't read them all the time, just sometimes," Lucille blushed.
"I suppose that's fair. Want to see who else is back?" Brittany asked.
"Yeah, that's fine with me," Lucille nodded.
The two girls walked over to another part of the boat, where the two girls would see Ilyria, Lin, and Butch chatting with one another. The only difference to Ilyria was the golden heart shaped locket around her neck.
"Ilyria! Lin! Butch! It's so good to see you guys again!" Lucille smiled, as she hugged the three of them.
"What's up?" Brittany gave a simple nod.
"Hello, Lucille. Hello, Brittany. Lovely to see you two again," Ilyria let out with her British accent clear to hear.
"Who gave you that necklace? It looks amazing," Brittany commented.
"Alekski," Ilyria responded simply.
"You mean that Russian guy who helped us all with…" Lucille began.
"The terrorist? Yup," Ilyria nodded.
"Well, you've got good taste in men," Brittany said. "When did this happen?"
"After the New Years party," Ilyria replied.
"Seriously?" Lucille was wide-eyed.
"Yes. He actually had feelings for me for a long time, but he was nervous to tell me," Ilyria said.
"Aww, how adorable!" Lucille gushed.
"If this talk about dating isn't awkward then I don't know what is." Butch sighed.
"You've got that right…" Lin added, crossing her eyes and trying not to look at all the gifts the other girls had.
"I'm sad things didn't work out with you and my sister after you came to London for a bit," Ilyria looked at Butch. "I mean, you were there for nearly three months after that epic fight you had with Walter and Joseph."
"Yeah, I mean she's nice but we just didn't match." the brute shrugged.
"How's life been for you, Lin?" Brittany asked.
"I've been working with Ilyria for a few months now. I didn't think being a stealth operative would be where my life went but, hey, it works."
"I'm actually shocked Terra also works for the organization," Brittany let out. "But it fits her, since she's crazy, and strict with those 'creepy' inmates."
"That's true," Ilyria nodded. "She's actually done a good job being the warden."
"Say, who else got the call for the new season?" Butch asked.
"I think Rebekah got the call, but she turned it down, since she's in the police academy now. She did say one of her acapella group members is coming on the show," Ilyria let out.
"Oh? I wonder which girl it is…" Brittany mused.
"Joseph did say his cousin signed up for the show," Lucille said.
"Isn't his family, like, massive?" Butch chuckled. "Which cousin is it?"
"He's a photographer," Lucille smiled. "I got to meet him at one of the family gatherings, and he's really cool."
"Who knows? Maybe there might be another wedding coming up," Brittany smirked playfully. "Just like Antonio's. Man, that wedding was epic, wasn't it?"
"Oh my god, it was so much fun," Lucille was giddy. "I basically was dancing up until 4 am!"
"Italy was beautiful, that's for sure," Ilyria nodded. "But I think England's better. Y'know, considering that I live there."
"Apparently, Paris, France is known as 'The City of Love'," Brittany smirked. "I think that tops the most romantic places in the world. What do you think, Lin?"
The former street urchin had an embarrassed look on her face as she turned her back to the group. "Yeah, City of Love, real nice…"
"Is everything okay?" Lucille asked. "You can talk with us. We're friends."
"Are… are you jealous of the girls?" Butch asked, a sly grin on his face.
"Butch!" Lucille hissed a bit. "That's not nice!"
"Hey, I call it as I see it, remember?" The brawler laughed as he raised his arms in defense.
Lucille playfully rolled her eyes.
On another part of the yacht, Antonio would be talking with Spikke, Shauna, and Trish. The soccer player had gotten a bit taller, and there was a golden wedding band on his left ring finger.
"Dude, your wedding was so epic," Spikke let out.
"Hah, I'm really glad you were all able to make it," Antonio laughed.
"I'm surprised you came back for another shot at the money. I mean, you're freaking married!"
"Yeah, I was debating, but Christina was willing to let me go for another chance if I really wanted to. She's actually filming her newest movie while the show's taking place, and it was actually a perfect opportunity."
"You're lucky you're married to a movie star. Even Trish is lucky, she's dating a movie star," Spikke grinned over at the posh girl. "Give us all the details, girl!"
Trish herself was wearing a pink suit with gold highlights with pink high heels, she appeared to be focused on a call she was taking.
"No no no, I can assure you that neon purple cheetah print is in! Have you even looked at what's trending right now?!"
Spikke would sweat a bit. "She's still going on about that?"
"Well, I guess that's what happens when you take over a fashion corporation." Shauna sighed. Just like Trish she wore an entirely new outfit, with Shauna now wearing a magenta t-shirt that exposes her right shoulder, blue jeans and magenta sneakers with gold bracelets around her wrists.
"Oh yeah, didn't her father retire?" Antonio asked.
"No, from what I hear, he's deciding to step into his own career in tv." The dancer giggled.
"Who would have thought?" Spikke chuckled, kissing her cheek.
"And who would have thought that you two would end up together," Antonio grinned at the two of them. "Technically, it was thanks to Terra, right?"
"Well I think there were some signs there before, Terra kind of just pushed us together. Figuratively and literally!" Shauna replied.
"It kinda sucked that we were on different teams, and I didn't even last long, being the second person out," Spikke grumbled.
"Yeah, but now you have a chance to go further!" Shauna said, giving the rapper a hug.
Spikke hugged her back. "Here's hoping we'll be on the same team this time."
Near the stern of the yacht, would be Dante, Christopher, and Fernando. The magician would be doing a few card tricks for the two boys, making the pictures on the cards disappear and reappear. The magician reached behind Fernando's ear, and pulled out a coin. "Tada!"
Surprisingly, the model managed to smirk. "Not bad." He now wore a wine red button-down shirt, with black jeans, and brown dress shoes.
"Thank you," Christopher bowed deeply. "I've definitely improved since the last time. I mean, you must have been impressed with the act Jerusha and I did during the talent show, right?"
"It was certainly an interesting act, I'll give you that."
"How's life been for you, Dante?" Christopher asked the other young man. "I heard you and Abigail are getting closer than ever!"
"Yeah, she's been really nice to me. I'm glad things have been working out." Dante smiled before he locked eyes with Fernando.
"That's good. I'm glad you two are happy." He said.
"So who else is here?" Christopher asked. "I heard that Ilyria's here, along with Brittany, and Lucille. This should be an interesting competition, what do you guys think?"
"Lin and Butch are here as well." Fernando replied. "Surprisingly, Joseph isn't here despite winning last season."
"I saw that he's playing football now, I guess he saw that as a better opportunity than letting Chris torture us again." Dante shrugged.
"I'm sure he'll come visit, probably to check on Lucille, or, if Chris wants him to host a challenge," Christopher shrugged. "But anyway, shall we make the rounds to say hello to the rest of the gang?"
"Don't think they'll be too happy to see me, but sure." The model sighed.
On another yacht…also headed to Toronto, Ontario…
A young man around 20 years old would be at the bow of the yacht, looking out at the open seas. He had a lightly tanned skin tone, with oval shaped black eyes, and dark brown hair that is shoulder-length, and dip-dyed violet. He stands at 6' and weighs 132 lbs. He wore a black top with 'My Chemical Romance' written on the front, a pair of ripped jeans, and brown sandals, and a pair of olive-rimmed glasses over his eyes. This was Byron Holbrook. He smiled a little, breathing in the fresh air. "What a lovely day…"
"Isn't it?" A nearby boy asked, carefully holding a camera in his hands. "This scenery makes the perfect picture!" The young man was a few inches taller than Byron and had a well built figure. His hair was curly and done in a flat-top style. He wore an orange button-down shirt with a white tank-top underneath it, khaki shorts and black sandals. "Oh, um, sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I'm David, David Sparrow."
Byron looked at David with a hint of curiosity. "You look… kind of familiar."
"That might be because of my cousin, Joseph. He won last season!"
"Oh, congrats! That must have been amazing," he smiled a little, running a hand through his hair, before sticking it out. "Byron Holbrook. I'm a blogger. It's a pleasure to meet you, David Sparrow."
"No way!" a female voice let out, as she and a boy ran over to Byron. "You're the one whose cousin is in that mental asylum!"
Byron winced at this. "Ugh. Yes, I am."
The girl grinned. She had a fair skin tone with blue eyes, and long brown hair held back with a silver hairband. She stood at 5'11, and weighed just under 103 lbs, and wore a blue chiffon tank top, blue jeans and white running shoes. There would be an epi-pen in a lavender fanny pack around her waist.
"That is so cool!" the boy let out. He too, had a fair skin tone with blue eyes, though his brown hair was shoulder-length and side-swept, showing off some of his bangs. He also stood at 5'11, and weighed 103 lbs. The young man had a bit of muscle too, and wore a white t-shirt with black jeans, and black running shoes. There would be an epi-pen in a midnight blue fanny pack around his waist.
"What's it like?" the girl asked.
"Annoying as heck," Byron grumbled.
"Oh come on, that's not valid," the boy pouted. "Come on, give us more details, for our subscribers! They want to know more about Sierra's cousin!"
"I don't want to!" Byron snapped. "So drop it!"
"Fine," the girl sighed. "Come on, Matthew. Let's find something else to film for our subscribers."
"Coming, Mackenzie," the boy let out, following after his sister.
Byron huffed as the twins left. "I'm so sorry about that. I really don't like talking about it…"
As Matthew and Mackenzie went, they passed by a girl with blonde hair and innocent looking, sky blue eyes and had freckles around her nose and upper cheeks. She was about 5' 6" in height and wore a black t-shirt, blue jean shorts and yellow sneakers.
"Wow…" She said to herself as she looked around the yacht and to the ocean around her.
"STAR WARS RULES!" a voice would soon be heard from behind her. The voice would belong to a man who had a peach skin tone, round blue eyes, shoulder-length bright red hair, and an athletic body with a six-pack, standing at 6'1, and weighing 151 lbs. He wore a black 'Star Wars' t-shirt, blue jean shorts, white socks, and black running shoes.
"Hi, I'm Adam! Do you like Star Wars?" he asked quickly. "I love Star Wars so much! I have so many things to talk about Star Wars! Nothing's better than Star Wars! It's so awesome, I could live with it forever and ever and ever!"
"Tu ne peux pas déjà te taire? Tu me donnes mal à la tête," a pretty French girl grumbled in annoyance. The girl was very beautiful, with a peach skin tone, and a slim and slender body, like a model's. Her eyes were round, and icy blue in color, and her hair was waist-length platinum blonde, tied into a pretty plait, and draped over her right shoulder. She wore a white blouse, with a pink skirt, a pair of white tights, a black design of the Eiffel tower on it, and beige Victorian boots. Around her neck is a pretty golden heart necklace, and a silver charm bracelet.
"Huh?" another girl asked, a bit confused as she looked over at the French girl. "Sorry, I don't speak French." This girl also had a peach skin tone, and round green eyes. Her hair was brown, and 7 inches past her shoulders. She stood at 5'8, and weighs 108 lbs. The girl wore a knitted white sweater, with denim jeans, white socks, and white running shoes.
"My apologies. I just asked that guy to shut up, as he was giving me a headache," the French girl explained.
"Oh, I see. He is pretty annoying," the brunette let out.
"Oui. I'm Juliette," she introduced herself.
"Dianne Matthews," the brunette replied, sticking out her hand.
"I've heard of you. You're the girl who survived stage 4 cancer!"
"That's me," Dianne blushed a bit.
"You're so lucky to survive an illness like that!" Juliette continued.
"Aww, thanks. I really hope I get good people on my team," Dianne let out.
"I hope so too," Juliette smiled. "I heard that there's a hunk on the yacht with the returning contestants."
"Oh?" Dianne raised an eyebrow.
"Oui. My friend, Rebekah, was on the previous season, and was on the same team as this guy. He seems interesting enough."
As the two girls talked with each other and Adam continued to ramble about Star Wars, the first blonde girl looked at the three in complete bewilderment before slowly walking away. As she turned to leave, she accidentally bumped into a much taller girl with red hair. This redhead stood at 6 ft. 2 inches. Her skin was a deep olive tone and her fierce emerald-green eyes matched her hair well as it cascaded down to her lower back. She wore a green jacket over a black, long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and green sneakers.
"Oh, um, sorry." The blonde girl apologized sheepishly.
"No harm done." The tall girl replied, looking over at the group that the blonde girl was escaping from. "I'd be wary about having to be near a group like that too."
"Well, I heard that this show is known for having a bunch of quirky people on it." The blonde said before smiling at the redhead and extending her hand to her. "I'm Tracy, by the way."
"Tatiana." The red haired girl replied, accepting the handshake while still giving the girl a wary glance.
The last few newbies would be near the stern of the boat. The first of which was a boy that seemed shorter than the rest of the cast, standing at only 5 ft. 5 in., though what he lacked in height he made up for in his muscle. He wore a green polo shirt with black jeans that had green laces. The young man paced around the ship impatiently, which seemed to annoy another boy standing off to the side, observing him and the last of the new contestants.
This second boy was taller than the first, though not as tall as Tatiana. His auburn hair was neatly combed, but covered by a red baseball cap he wore that had a lightning bolt symbol on it. Alongside his hat, he wore a red hoodie over a white t-shirt, blue jeans and red sneakers. Some would say he looked plain, but he preferred it that way.
"Come on, come on…" The shorter boy whined. "When are we gonna get there?!"
"Eventually." The hatted boy replied with a hint of venom in his tone. "Now you could at least sit down and relax until we get there."
"Oh? And what if I don't want to?!" The shorter guy said, puffing out his chest as he began to make his way over to his new rival.
"Please don't fight!" The last of the three said. "It's an ever-so-wrong thing to do right now!"
The final new contestant was a young woman who, like a few before her, had red hair done in a fishtail braid that also seemed to match with her soft green eyes. She also had a set of gold earrings that also somehow seemed to pair well with her olive green blouse, blue jeans and brown boots.
Before either boy could say anything, a horn would soon be sounded, as the yacht would be approaching a dock, where another yacht would already be waiting, with 12 people aboard the first yacht getting off.
"Welcome returnees!" Chris announced gleefully. "Are you ready to meet the 12 newbies you'll be going up against?!"
"Bring it on already," Brittany let out.
"You're no fun, Brittany. But anyway! Let's introduce the first newbie, who's better known as Sierra's cousin! It's Byron, everyone!"
"That crazy girl has a cousin?!" Lucille was wide-eyed, looking over at Butch and the others.
"Please tell me they're not as bad as she is…" The brawler sighed.
"I'm not," Byron hissed as he made his way off the boat. "I actually hate being referred to as 'Sierra's cousin.'"
"Okay, he doesn't seem crazy…" Ilyria let out.
"At least someone gets it," the boy huffed, going over to the others. "Pleasure to meet you all."
"Next up is Tatiana!" Chris announced. "I think she's actually the tallest girl here!"
The redhead walked onto the dock, sizing up the rest of the contestants, almost literally as she towered above some of them.
"Hey." She greeted flatly.
"Okay, next up is our geek, Adam!" Chris announced.
Adam jumped off of the yacht, and grinned. "Hi everyone! Do you all like Star Wars?!"
"Oh just fantastic…" Ilyria groaned. "We've got another Terra… but the male version of her."
"No, Terra wasn't this bad." Lin cringed. "At least her being spontaneous had its moments of being entertaining."
"STAR WARS RULES!" Adam cheered.
"Next up is Lila!" Chris announced. The redheaded girl that tried to stop the argument earlier stepped onto the dock and gave everyone a friendly wave.
"Hi everyone! It's ever-so nice to meet you all!"
"Okay, we've got a pair of twins next, give it up for Matthew and Mackenzie, aka, the Bell twins!"
The twins hopped off the yacht, grinning from ear to ear.
"Hey all, don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube channels! I'm SilverSinger5427!" Mackenzie let out.
"And I'm GamerDude0513!" Matthew let out.
"We've both got 5K subscribers!" they exclaimed together.
"What's YouTube?" Tracy asked as she stepped onto the dock before Chris could introduce her.
"Only one of the best Internet sites ever!" Mackenzie grinned. "You can watch videos, upload them, and even go live!"
"Oh, I get it!" Tracy replied with a smile. "...I don't get it…"
"We'll teach you all you need to know," Matthew smiled.
"Can it!" Chris groaned. "Next up, Lin, you might be excited, cause this is Rebekah's friend! It's Juliette, all the way from Paris, France!"
Juliette stepped onto the dock, smiling gracefully. "Bonjour, everyone," she let out with her French accent.
"Oh, hey Julie, long time no see." Lin greeted.
"Please, don't be so formal," Juliette laughed. "I prefer Juliette, to be honest."
"Wait, she's Rebekah's friend?" Butch asked, looking Juliette up and down.
"That's right. I'm in the same Acapella group with her: The Femme Fatales. We just won the Acapella world championships yet again, not long after the previous season," Juliette smiled brightly.
"Oh damn," Brittany let out. "That's awesome. Isn't it, Butch?"
"Yeah… that's, uh, really interesting." The brute said, pursing his lips as he continued to look at Juliette.
"Does someone have a crush?" Ilyria playfully teased her ex.
Juliette laughed gracefully. "What can I say? I do attract boys easily."
"Well, I was going to introduce Tracy to everyone before she rudely came out before she was supposed to!" Chris huffed.
"Sorry…" The blonde girl apologized sheepishly.
"So then I guess we'll move on to our next new contestant, meet David!"
The cast was suddenly met with the snap of a camera as the photographer stepped out onto the dock.
"Ohh, that's a good shot!" He began. "It's always nice to get one when everyone is acting natural!"
"Hey, David," Lucille smiled at him.
"Lucy! Been a while, how are things?"
"Hey, only Joseph's allowed to call me that!" the violinist pouted, before smiling. "But things are good."
"Yeah, there are apparent rumors that they'll be the next to get married, after they caught the bouquet and garter at my wedding," Antonio grinned, as Lucille blushed deeply while Butch began to laugh. "That was when the two of you exchanged promise rings, right?"
"That's right," Lucille smiled as she showed them all the rose gold band on her right ring finger.
"Yeah, and Lin caught the one at Johan's!" He said, causing the former street girl to blush cherry red.
"Don't forget you caught the garter, Butch," Ilyria grinned, immediately silencing the brawler.
"Okay, okay! Enough with the teasing! Next up is Edward!" Chris announced. The short boy from earlier walked onto the dock with a grimace.
"Eddy. Just call me Eddy…" He groaned as he brought a hand to his face in frustration.
"Whatever, dude. Go and join the others," Chris said. "Next up is Brad! Come on down, buddy!"
Eddy walked over to the rest of the cast and leaned over to whisper to the person next to him, who happened to be Lin.
"Is he always this much of an ass?" He asked.
"Yup." She responded. "I'd say you get used to it, but he figures out a new way to be annoying every day."
"Pfft, guess I've got my work cut out for me then." Eddy chuckled, turning to look at Lin.
"Heh, guess you do." The shorter girl replied, smiling at Eddy, who's smile soon turned to an annoyed glare as he saw Brad walk onto the dock.
The hat-wearing boy Eddy had been arguing with earlier silently gave everyone a calculating look before simply saying "Hey." and joining the rest of the cast.
"A man of few words I see…" Butch noted.
"And now it's time to meet our final newbie! She's a stage four cancer survivor, give it up for Dianne!"
Dianne smiled as she stepped off the yacht, and onto the dock. "Hi, everyone~!"
"A cancer survivor? Wow, you really went all out this season," Brittany muttered.
"So she's lived through hell and you want her to go through more hell?" Fernando asked.
"Guys, don't be rude!" Juliette huffed.
"Alright, alright! Let's get you into teams!" Chris snapped his fingers, as Alexis and Jenny would approach, both holding two flags. "If I call your name, go and stand with Alexis. Fernando, Butch, Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Eddy, Byron, Brittany, Juliette, Dante, and Antonio!"
"Oooh, I've got good people on my team!" Juliette cheered.
"You guys will be henceforth known as…THE REVOLTING RACCOONS!" Chris announced, as an image of a black, white, and gray raccoon with a revolting look on its face would be shown above them.
"Eh? Revolting?!" The male model gasped.
"You've got to be joking…" Brittany grumbled. "That's the worst team name ever."
"It was either that, or Ugly Unicorns," Chris shrugged.
"That doesn't sound as bad as Revolting Racoons…" David shrugged. "I don't mind being called a unicorn, in a way I'm already halfway there!"
"Well, you guys are stuck with the name," Chris grinned. "Too bad, so sad! Anyway, the rest of you: Lila, Tracy, Trish, Shauna, Christopher, Spikke, Brad, Dianne, Adam, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana! You guys will be known as…"
"TEAM STAR WARS?!" Adam grinned.
"No, Adam," the host huffed in annoyance. "As I was saying…you guys will henceforth be known as…THE OBLIVIOUS OWLS!" he exclaimed, as an image of a dark brown and light brown owl; with an oblivious look on its face would be shown above them.
"Awww!" Adam pouted. "But I wanted Team Star Wars!"
"No can do, buddy," Chris shrugged. "Okay! Get to know your new teammates, there's no elimination tonight, so you all can relax."
Revolting Raccoons
"Thank god we don't have the annoying one on our team," Ilyria looked over at Butch. "That would have been hell."
"Tell me about it, it sucks to be the other team though." Butch shrugged.
"Well, at least we're on the same team like before," Ilyria smiled at Lin and Butch. The spy soon felt a tap on her shoulder, as she turned to look, she was met with a very confused Tracy.
"What's Star Wars and why is that boy so obsessed with it?" She asked.
"You've got a lot to learn…" Ilyria grumbled. "Ask that fanatic on your team…he'd be glad to tell you all about it."
"I… don't know if I want to do that…" The rural girl said before making her way to her team.
"Alright, you're all dismissed. Go hang out with one another, and we'll meet for dinner at The Rec Room, located on Bremner Blvd! Our reservation's at 6:30 PM sharp! Don't be late!" Chris ordered. "Go on, people!"
"Oh, I've been to The Rec Room," Ilyria let out. "I went there when I came to Toronto on vacation. It's so much fun."
"Is it?" Brittany raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, there's video games, shuffleboard, redemption games, ping pong, pool, and a VRX car simulator."
"Oh, that sounds SO cool!" Lucille was wide-eyed. "So, any ideas on what we should do?"
"We can play some icebreakers," Juliette offered. "How about…Never Have I Ever?"
"Sure." Eddy shrugged.
"Alright, so we start with 10 fingers up, and you put one finger down if you've done something that the person who states it hasn't done," Juliette said. "Simple enough?"
"I guess," Lucille nodded.
"I'll start. Never have I ever gone skinny dipping."
Lucille put a finger down, blushing deeply. "After the show, Joseph and I went swimming at the beach near his house, just before the luau. And we made out passionately in the water after stripping to our bare bottoms."
"Damn," Ilyria grinned. "You two are so in love."
"Oohhh, spicy!" David laughed. "But… you do know his little siblings watch this show, right? Probably with their parents's supervision."
"Yeah, but Chris also pays for censors when swearing does happen. He had to pay for a lot when Butch went off on the traitor who we'll not name," Lucille explained.
"You didn't exactly swear when you explained what you and Joseph did though. But I suppose that's none of my business. Anyway, we should move on with the game." Fernando said.
"Who's next?" Juliette asked. "How about…you Fernando?"
"Hmm… Never have I ever… gone skydiving."
Ilyria put a finger down. "One of the basic things you learn in spy training, isn't that right Lin?"
"Yup. I don't think you guys can comprehend how excited and terrified I was when I did my first HALO jump." The new spy replied, putting down one of her fingers.
"But you rocked it," Ilyria grinned. "I'll go next. Never have I ever had a brain freeze."
The whole team put down a finger.
"Oh my gosh, it was the worst," Lucille groaned.
"Tell me about it," Brittany grumbled. "Especially when I have two annoying stepsisters to deal with. How about you, Butch?"
"For me, it was when I had to eat an entire sundae in 2 minutes on a dare. My brain was gone for the next half hour, but hey, the easiest ten bucks I ever made!"
"Fernando? I'm surprised you had a brain freeze," Lucille commented, looking at the male model.
"What can I say?" Fernando shrugged. "Gelato is quite a treat, especially to someone who tries it for the first time."
"Oh, Italian ice cream! We've got a few gelato places in New York. I was able to take Joseph there for a date, and we both had an amazing time," Lucille grinned.
"It is a classic," Antonio smiled proudly. "I got a brain freeze after my junior soccer team won a game, and we all went out to celebrate. Me and Giuseppe suffered for 2 hours, while my sisters only suffered for half-an-hour. How about you, Lin? When did you get a brain freeze?"
"Not too long after the last season, actually. I went with my parents to this new place that opened up back home. It was nice."
"That was before you took my offer," Ilyria grinned. "And you don't regret it, right?"
"Well, I could deal with less evil spies chasing me through secret labs, but aside from that it's not a bad job at all."
"Eddy? When did you get a brain freeze?" Brittany asked.
"It was back before my brother got deployed, we went to this frozen yogurt place not too far from our house near Vancouver. I prefer ice cream, but he's lactose intolerant." The shorter boy shrugged before turning to Lin. "And I might not be a spy like you two, but I've got a few stories of getting chased around."
"Well, I guess someone should go next," Ilyria shrugged. "Who wants a turn after?"
Oblivious Owls
"Thank goodness we're on the same team," Spikke let out, holding Shauna's hands.
"I know!" The dancer squealed. "I was sure Chris would split us up or something!"
"You never know what could happen. Chris can be unpredictable," the rapper sighed. "Only problem, we've got an annoying geek on our team."
"I'm sure he can't be that bad… right?" Shauna asked.
"STAR WARS RULES!" Adam cheered loudly, as Christopher groaned, facepalming.
"Oh, Adam…" He sighed.
"I still don't even know what Star Wars is…" Tracy asked.
"Tracy don't-" Tatiana began before Adam let out an exaggeratedly long gasp, before talking too fast about how Star Wars was better than any other sci-fi show out there.
"You just had to ask…" Christopher grumbled as the country girl was too busy trying to process everything she was hearing while simultaneously wearing an expression that seemed to ask 'What have I gotten myself into'...
"We're doomed…" Spikke sighed.
"There's no need to be so pessimistic!" Lila assured. "Sure, Adam may be a bit… eccentric, but if we give him a chance and keep a positive mental attitude, I'm sure this team will work together ever-so perfectly!"
"You think?" Dianne asked. "I'm already getting a headache from his ranting!"
Later that night…
Both teams would make it to The Rec Room just before 6:30 PM, where Chris would be waiting. "Perfect timing guys, go find a table and glance at the menus, and the show will basically pay for whatever you order. Legal age for alcohol is 19, so you're all good to drink if you want."
"That so?" Brad asked. "Don't mind if I do!"
"I'm with him on this one!" Butch added.
"Meh, why not?" Brittany shrugged.
"Only thing is, don't go crazy on the drinks, we don't want you becoming raging drunks," Chris warned.
"No promises!" The boys said simultaneously as they made their way to the bar. Some of the other teens went to explore and enjoy the restaurant while others took a look at the menu.
"What do you plan on getting, Tracy?" Lila asked.
"Hmm, not sure, it all sounds good!" The farm girl replied. "I haven't even heard of a lot of these foods though, so I guess I'll go with something that sounds simple. The 'Rec Room Burger' is what this place is known for, I guess, so I'll go with that."
"I think I know what you mean." The soft-spoken redhead nodded. "A lot of these sound ever-so fancy! I think I'll order the 'Sun-dried Tomato and Goat Cheese Pasta'."
"I'm gonna do the classic 'Margherita'," Lucille smiled. "Plain, I know, but it's my favorite."
"The 'Mac and Cheese' sounds delicious, so I'm going to do that," Ilyria said. "What about you, Fernando?" The girls looked around for the male model, only to see that he was by one of the pool tables, getting ready to play with Lin, Brad and Tatiana.
"Never mind then," Ilyria let out. "I suppose we'll order, and take a look at some of the games."
Later that night…
"Man, I'm stuffed," Christopher let out as he leaned back in the chair. "That was so good."
"You're bloody ridiculous," Ilyria groaned at Butch. "Chris warned you to not go crazy on the drinks! And now, you're bloody drunk."
"This is why I only had one drink," Juliette sighed, shaking her head.
"Whuzzat?" Butch slurred as he struggled to stay standing. "I ain't drunk…"
"You are," both girls said together. From further behind, Lin struggled to drag Eddy over to the rest of the cast, while the two were the shortest among the group, Eddy still outweighed Lin by about 50 pounds.
"Yup, he's a big boy alright…" The urchin strained as she pulled his arms. As he was being dragged, Eddy looked up at the young woman and began to laugh.
"You're cute…" He said, his eyes wandering a bit. Upon hearing that, Lin dropped the man, giving him a confused look as she began blushing. With a quick shake of her head she resumed pulling the man.
"Shut up!" She yelped.
"Alright, alright, let's head on over to our accommodations for the night," Chris said, before seeing Butch and Eddy. "Oh come on, I told you two not to go crazy! Ugh, why don't they ever listen?!"
"Guess that means the challenge tomorrow will be delayed?" Alexis sighed.
"Unfortunately, until those two sober up," Chris grumbled.
"Figures," Byron sighed. "Just fantastic."
"So what do we do now?" Tracy asked.
"While I deal with the bill, Jenny and Alexis can lead you to where we're staying," Chris said.
"We're on it," Alexis nodded. "We're staying at the Fairmont Royal York."
"Oh my gosh, that's so fancy!" Lucille squealed.
"Yeah, we're going all out," the young chef smiled. "Alright everyone, follow us."
Byron would be walking beside David. "You must have taken many good photos," he commented.
"A few, I can't wait to take more!"
"I suppose a few of them are of your cousin and Lucille?" Byron smiled. "I mean, they are the It couple right now."
"There are definitely a few, but my side of the family doesn't actually meet with Joseph's side very often considering we live in two different parts of the country. Hopefully I can take some pictures with my own special someone someday. But about them being the It couple, I was actually surprised to find out that while the fans love those two, our mutual family might not be so fond of them."
"Oh?" Byron asked. "That must suck."
"Yeah, some of our other cousins and uncles think that him being with her is making him lose his edge. I'm not so sure, but hey, it's his love life, not mine." David shrugged.
"Wow, and even my love life sucks, especially when people find out about Sierra. I'm glad she's in that strict mental asylum," Byron let out.
"Yeah, I suppose having an obsession with someone and going through forced withdrawal like she did made things a lot tougher for both of you."
"It has. She's mad that the inmates don't have access to any internet devices, and they get shocked if they happen to get their hands on one. Not only that, it's only the visitors who are allowed to access the internet," Byron explained. David nodded in understanding before turning to look at the grandiose looking building the group was approaching.
"Oh, that must be it!" He called out.
"Yeah, so many celebrities stayed here, including the Royal family," Ilyria let out.
"Ok…" Jenny began. "So Chris just sent me a text asking Alexis and I to sort out the room situation, so just sit tight and we'll end the episode off." She explained before turning towards her fellow intern. "We can do that, right?"
"You've got it," Alexis grinned. "So, we've met our 12 newbies, and they seem to be an interesting bunch, don't you think?"
"Definitely! And with our 12 veterans showing them the ropes, this season looks to be one of the most interesting yet!" Jenny added.
"Our first challenge is approaching, so what will our two teams have to endure? And will there be more drama? All of this, and more, next time, on Total!" she began. "Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"
