Revolting Raccoons: Fernando, Butch, Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Eddy, Byron, Brittany, Juliette, and Dante

Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Christopher, Spikke, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana

"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels…" Chris began the famous recap, as he stood with Jenny, Alexis and Chef.

"Our two teams were in BC, as they enjoyed a day of fishing by the lake for some fish," Alexis said. "Spikke got annoyed when he managed to catch a toy frog wearing a top hat, and it sang… an interesting… song."

"But in the end, the Raccoons pulled off the victory, and the Owls had to send Trish packing. Not only that, it seems like Dianne put herself into some hot water with Lin after the girl witnessed the kiss with her and Eddy," Chef rolled his eyes, as a flashback to the kiss that Eddy and Dianne shared would play, which would show Lin in the background viewing the kiss, and leaving in tears.

"But 20 remain! Who will be the next to crumble? Find out, on this jaw-dropping episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,

You guys are on my mind.

You asked me what I wanted to be

and now I think the answer is plain to see,

I wanna be famous.

I wanna live close to the sun,

Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,

Everything to prove, nothing in my way

I'll get there one day.

Cause, I wanna be famous!

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)

I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous

(Whistling in tune)

Episode 7: Wandering Back to Camp Wawanakwa

Vancouver, British Columbia

Ilyria noticed her teammate return. "Lin? Are you okay?"

The stealth operative remained silent, her hair covering her eyes as she walked right past Ilyria and closed the door to her room behind her.

Ilyria frowned, knocking on the door. "Come on, please talk to me." As she continued to try in vain to talk to her coworker, Ilyria sighed to herself before reaching into her pocket and pulling out the hotel room's key. "Ugh, roommates, duh!" She said to herself as she opened the door and walked in to find Lin, face down on her bed with her head buried in her pillow.

"Lin? Please, talk to me. What happened?" More silence, at least until the spy thought she heard muffled sniffling coming from the pillows.

"Oh… Lin…you suffered heartbreak?"

It was tough to make out, but Ilyria heard Lin say something. What she said was still muffled by the pillow, however.

"Look at me, Lin," Ilyria said gently. "Please."

The shorter girl turned her head, her eyes obscured by her hair. "Eddy…" She mumbled.

"Chin up, Lin," Ilyria gently used her fingers to push the hair out of her co-worker's eyes. "You're a strong, badass girl, who deserves better. Do you remember when we took down the Jam King? The man who wanted to cover the entire world with jam, after it had been rejected, and turn people into jam-loving zombies?"

"I remember feeling sticky for weeks afterwards…"

"My point stands. You're a strong girl, Lin. I've seen it, and even the organization's seen it. You've proved yourself, time and time again, with each and every mission you've been on."

"That's just business though…"

"You're not getting it. If Eddy broke your heart, sure, take him down. But you can't be down the entire time. You have to be strong, and willing to get back on your feet. Maybe you still need to find the guy who'll make you happy for the rest of your life."

"Am I supposed to be angry with him? I don't want to hurt him or anything like that. This has never happened to me before."

"Heartbreak does happen. Take me, for example. Before I met Alekski, my current boyfriend, I was in a relationship with a man named Jordan. But he dumped me, saying I wasn't perfect enough for him. Not only that, he even tried to brainwash me into a harem girl slave to serve his every need."

"Then there was Butch…"

"Yeah," Ilyria nodded. "I still haven't told Butch about what Jordan did to me… but back to you. I believe in you, Lin. You can come back from this heartbreak, and be the badass girl I know you to be."

"If you say so…" The urchin sighed before laying her head back on the pillow.

"I do. You're my best friend, Lin." Ilyria smiled at her.

"Thanks." Lin said, smiling just a bit.

"You're welcome," Ilyria smiled.

Eddy entered his hotel room looking rather pleased with himself as he hopped into his bed.

"You seem happy," Byron's voice would be heard from the other bed as the two were roommates.

"Heck yeah I am! Just had one of the girls fall for the ol' 'Eddy charm'!"

"Congrats," Byron chuckled. "Here's hoping your relationship lasts long."

"Speakin' of which, what's going on with you and David?"

"It's gonna take a bit more time. Hopefully not too long," Byron sighed. "He's really hot. The previous relationships I had didn't last long, since my cousin ruined them."

"Well, they're not here now, I say go for it! What have you got to lose?"

"Yeah, that's true. Hopefully after today's challenge. If we win, of course." Byron would clean his glasses with a cloth, putting them on the bedside table. "What do you think the next challenge will be? Personally, I think it might involve a scavenger hunt? I'm really good at those."

"Eh, whatever it is, I'm sure we'll win again!" The shorter boy shrugged.

Byron smiled, removing his shirt. "Well, I'm gonna get some sleep. Goodnight."

"G'night."

Breakfast the next morning proved to be calm, for the most part. Both teams would be sitting at the hotel's kitchen area; which had a buffet set up, with multiple different kinds of cheeses, fruits, cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, and oatmeal. As per usual at this point, Tracy had set up a rather large breakfast for herself, though it still managed to surprise most of her team.

"Where does all of that go?" Brad asked. "I mean, you basically eat twice the amount of the rest of the team combined."

"Where do you think?" The farm girl giggled as she swallowed a piece of bacon and pointed to her flexing bicep.

"Well she is essentially the muscle of the team, I suppose she'll need to eat that much to have that much output." Tatiana remarked.

Dianne would hum as she joined the group, her plate filled with a cheese omelette, a banana cut up with some Nutella on it, and one apple. "Good morning~!" she sang.

"You seem to be in an ever-so cheerful mood this morning!" Lila greeted, taking a small sip of her still hot tea.

"Of course! I've got a boyfriend now," Dianne smiled.

"Oh?" Tatiana raised an eyebrow and shared a quick glance at Brad.

Dianne nodded. "Don't worry, I won't be focused on him the entire time. I still want to win the money."

"Well, you and Matthew just need to make sure you both keep under control and it shouldn't be an issue." The hatted boy noted.

"I still haven't been able to talk to Alexis that much," the male YouTuber pouted.

"You'll get to talk to her, eventually," Mackenzie felt bad for her twin brother.

"Hopefully," Matthew let out. "Thanks, sis."

"Wait, I'm not dating yet, Christopher and Spikke are already dating someone, and Matthew likes Alexis." Brad said as he sent Dianne a stern look. "Dianne, who did you hook up with?"

"Eddy," Dianne said. "I know, he's on the other team, but I won't be focused on him all the time."

"I mean, I'm crushing on Fernando, and I only talk with him after challenges," Mackenzie shrugged.

"...You girls really just let your secrets out there, don't you…" Tatiana sighed.

"Is there a problem with that?" Dianne raised an eyebrow.

"There are some skeletons in closets that people don't want getting out there, and if you're so open with your secrets then people might get the wrong impression of you." Brad stated.

"Chill out, Brad," Matthew held his hands up. "It's nice to have some things calm."

"I mean, I can kinda get where you two are coming from though." Tracy said, swallowing some orange juice. "My poppa always said it's good to keep people at arms length."

"Anyway, let's talk about the thoughts on the upcoming challenge," Dianne said, as she drank some ice water. "Where do you think we'll go?"

"Do you think we might go to where the very first season of the show was?" Mackenzie had stars in her eyes. "That would be so amazing!"

"It would certainly be an ever-so interesting challenge, that's for sure!" Lila piped up.

"As long as there's no singing frog, I'm cool with whatever," Spike let out. "That was so annoying."

"Don't remind me…" Christopher sighed. "I hated that song."

"We grew up watching Looney Tunes, so it was a classic," Mackenzie said.

"You're never too old for Looney Tunes, that's for sure," Matthew chimed in, as the twins high-fived one another.

"Honestly, I would love it if I could compete with my brother," Dianne said. "But he said he got some other job with the show, so I'm not sure what to expect."

"That's basically the words you can use to describe this whole show." Tatiana shrugged. "'Not sure what to expect.'"

Meanwhile, with the Raccoons, breakfast was just as interesting. Juliette, Lucille, and Butch would be sitting together. Lucille would be watching as the French girl flirted with Butch.

"You must have some other interesting stories about your last season," Juliette swooned. "Why don't you tell me about it?"

"Depends on what you want to hear. I mean, I can tell you about what happened with Terra after the first challenge, my boxing match with Walter and Joseph, and… actually, now that I think about it, because of 'he who must not be named', I don't think there was really a lot I can remember…"

"Tell me everything that you can remember," Juliette smiled. "I'll be listening intently."

A bit further away, David got his breakfast of oatmeal with fruit and sat down beside Dante, who sat by himself with some pancakes.

"Hi!" The photographer greeted. "Mind if I join you?"

"Uh, hey, go ahead."

"So, you've been a bit quiet since the show started. Are you feeling alright?"

"Yeah, I'm good, more or less. I mean, it's just a bit awkward being here without Abigail now. Especially since I wasn't exactly myself for a lot of the last season." Dante explained, rubbing the back of his neck nervously.

"But you're under control now, just relax and try reaching out to the others! I'm sure they won't mind."

"I'm sure they won't mind," Byron took a seat across from the two boys, eating some omelette and French toast. The sudden introduction startled the two other boys. "Oh, sorry," Byron let out.

"Still, he's not wrong." David added.

"I guess. I've just never really been good at approaching people, y'know?"

"Maybe you need some help," Byron let out.

"Tell you what, we'll try to give you a hand, how does that sound?" David asked, putting an arm over Dante's shoulder.

"Well, if it'll help." Dante replied shyly.

"Oh, definitely, the duo of Bavid will help you out for sure," the blogger grinned.

"Bavid?" David raised an eyebrow.

"Um…" Byron blushed deeply. "It's our names put together? Is that okay?"

"Not gonna lie, it is a bit weird." David admitted, with Dante nodding in agreement.

"Yeah, Abigail and I don't really do anything like that."

"Oh…" Byron blushed deeply. "My bad. Sorry." He took a deep breath. "God, why is it so hard?"

"Look, don't worry about it, it's not that big of a deal." David assured. "Anyway, where do you guys think we'll be going today? My guess is further West."

"I'd love to go to Quebec," Byron let out. "Yeah, it's cold, but I don't mind the cold."

"Uh, hey, you guys mind if I sit with you?" The three turned to notice Eddy standing by their table looking just a bit uncomfortable.

"Sure," Byron nodded. "What's up Eddy?"

"I don't know why, but that girl, Ilyria, has been glaring at me every so often. I'd ask her what's her deal but I'm not gonna risk getting zapped by some spy gadget or something."

"Oh boy," Byron sighed. "I don't know…"

"Did you do something to get on her bad side?" Dante asked.

"Heck if I know? I haven't even really talked to her since the game started."

"I mean, she and Lin are friends. Maybe you did something to upset Lin?" Byron suggested. "That's all I can think of."

"Again, not that I can think of." Eddy shrugged. "And I don't think I said anything about that clown girl either, so I don't think I did anything that could give them a reason to hate me."

"Try to talk with Lin…if you can, of course," Byron said. "Maybe try to talk to her before the challenge? Get her side of the story?"

"Maybe…" Eddy replied. "We still have some time before Chris comes bursting in, I think."

"Go for it then," Byron smiled. "Good luck."

Ilyria would glare harshly as she noticed Eddy approach her and Lin. "Bloody great, what do you want, you heartbreaker?"

"Heartbreaker?"

"Ilyria, don't." Lin sighed.

"I'm watching you," the spy sneered, glaring at him like a hawk. "Say what you want, and leave us."

"I was gonna ask why you're giving me the stink eye, but I think I got the idea…" The shorter boy said before walking away from the girls.

"Geez, that seemed rough," Byron winced as he watched Eddy sit back down with them. From the girls table, Lin buried her face in her hands and shook her head.

"What happened?" Juliette glanced over, seeming concerned.

"I have no idea," Byron responded. "Eddy?"

"I don't even really know! I tried going over there to see what Ilyria's issue with me was and she just called me a 'heartbreaker'! I've barely even spoken to those two!"

Byron was thinking for a moment. "Maybe Lin had a crush on you?"

"Maybe? I mean I totally see why?" Eddy huffed.

"Dude." Byron looked at him. "I think you might understand why Ilyria hates you. You broke her friend's heart."

"Okay, but how?!" He groaned. "I mean it's not like she saw me and…. Oh crap…"

"I guess you figured it out?" Byron asked.

"So what are you gonna do, smart guy?" David asked.

"Well I have to think of something. I always do though, don't worry about that. Still, I guess this is the only problem I have with the 'ol Eddy charm." Eddy shrugged.

Chris would suddenly rush in. "WE'RE GOING TO WAWANAKWA~!"

"That old place? Isn't it, like underwater now?" Brittany scoffed.

"That's where your next challenge will be taking place!" the host grinned. "Finish up, and let's head to the airport, ASAP!"

"You heard the man," Byron let out. "Ready to go?"

"Guess so." Dante said, getting up as he took the last bite of his breakfast and stretching. From the Owls side of the room, Brad had been carefully observing the entire exchange…

*Confessional*

Brad: "Watching all of that was certainly… interesting. Maybe Tatiana and I can use this turmoil to our advantage. Hmm… This may sound hypocritical of me, but maybe I should start talking to Lin…"

*End Confessional*

A couple of hours later, the two teams would arrive at the sunken Camp Wawanakwa.

"Gosh, it looks…abandoned…" Dianne shivered.

"You're telling me, this place is a gold mine!" Mackenzie squealed with excitement.

"You read my mind!" Eddy agreed, seeing dollar signs in his eyes.

"Today's challenge is simple. You have to dive into the waters to find statues of yours truly, Chef, and Alexis in the following colors: copper, bronze, silver, and gold. If you find the copper statues, you get 2 points. Bronze will be 3 points. The silver is 7 points, and gold is 15 points," Chris said. "The team with the most points will win the challenge."

"We were gonna have statues of the blonde girl, but she ain't here right now." Chef said.

"This might be difficult," Juliette frowned. "Knowing McLean, he's not gonna make it easy."

"And you're right! You'll have to deal with Fang!" Chris grinned sadistically.

"Not that mutant shark!" Dianne let out. "He scared me a lot when I watched Revenge of the Island."

Fang's toothy grin would soon pop out of the water, waving to the contestants.

"Fantastic," Brittany let out dryly. "Just fantastic."

"I'm sure someone as strong as you can deal with Fang," Juliette grinned, looking at Butch, giving him a bit of a seductive smile.

"Girl, there is a reason nobody messed with that thing! I don't think even Joseph would take Fang lightly!"

"Don't underestimate Joseph," Lucille let out. "He's faced strong opponents, that's for sure."

"I don't even think he could take a mutated shark, Lucy…"

Lucille huffed a bit. "Fine."

"And the challenge starts….NOW!" Chris would press a button, dropping the cast into the water.

"I HATE YOU CHRIS!" Brittany screeched.

"BLOODY HELL!" Ilyria let out. Several of the other contestants screamed as they plummeted and ultimately splashed into the lake of Wawanakwa.

"YOU'RE A DEAD MAN, CHRIS!" Brittany swore. "A DEAD MAN!"

"I guess we should get to work," Lucille let out. "Come on, Raccoons, we've got a challenge to win."

"I'm with Lucille," Ilyria sighed. "Let's move." She dove into the water.

While the Raccoons began diving, some of the Owls grouped up.

"Alright, here's the plan." Brad began. "Focus on the copper statues. It's better to build up a score using the lower-point ones first."

"SIR, YES, SIR!" Mackenzie and Matthew would salute together.

"That's…a bit creepy…" Dianne winced. "Don't you think?"

"Who died and made you captain?" Spikke raised an eyebrow at the hatted boy.

"Newsflash, Spikke, there's no team captains this season," Christopher let out.

"Do you have a better idea?"

"Honestly, we can go with yours," Spikke rolled his eyes. "I'm gonna try and find a bronze statue. It's worth 3 points, and still in the low-point-denomination."

As Spikke dove under the water, Tatiana sighed to herself.

"He feels threatened." She pointed out.

"Why do you say that?" Dianne asked.

"His girlfriend was voted out and now he feels like he's a target. Plus he vowed to win for her, so he feels that if he gets voted out, he'll have failed her."

"Gosh, now I feel bad for eliminating Shauna…but the votes didn't lie…" Mackenzie let out.

"I think he might be mad with me…since I voted to eliminate him last time," Christopher sighed. "What should we do?"

"Not lose, for one," Mackenzie replied.

"What we should do is start diving." Tatiana deadpanned.

"R-right." Lila nodded as she went under the water. The rest of the team would do the same, except for Brad and Tatiana, with the former grabbing the latter before she could dive.

"We need to talk."

"About?"

"About the other team. I don't know if you noticed, but there's some turmoil going on with them right now regarding Eddy and Lin. I think it would benefit us if I take advantage of this situation."

"I see." Tatiana brought a hand to her chin. "Do what you feel like you need to. For now, let's just get this over with."

One hour passed. On the Raccoons side, Brittany managed to collect a silver statue of Chef. She grinned a little.

"And the Raccoons are on the scoreboard with 7 points!" Chris announced. Just as Chris finished his announcement, both Lila and Tracy both resurfaced with three bronze Alexis statues each.

"Looks like the Owls take the lead!"

"F***" Brittany swore.

"We can retake the lead," Lucille said, having collected 2 silver Chris statues, one gold Alexis statue, and one copper Chef statue. "Easy."

"Nice going," the mob boss smirked.

"I have my moments," Lucille smiled.

"The Raccoons take the lead yet again!" Chris announced.

"Ugh, we had it, and we lost it…" Tracy moaned.

"It's not over yet!" The redhead assured just as Tatiana resurfaced with a silver Chef statue. "See?"

"But we still need a lot of points to catch up to those Raccoons," Dianne let out, having found a copper Alexis statue. "A lot of points."

"We're on it!" Tracy saluted before diving back underwater.

Another hour passed. The two teams would be neck and neck in points.

"Hurry it up, people!" Chris was getting bored. While she was searching in one of the sunken cabins, Lin managed to catch sight of a gold statue before running out of breath. As her vision began growing cloudy, she saw two figures grabbing her by the arms and pulling her upwards.

One of the two figures happened to be Butch, who looked shocked upon seeing the 2nd person. Before he could even make a motion, the three were soon caught off guard by the ominous sight of Fang quickly closing in on them. Without a second thought, the two teens swam up to the surface with Lin in their arms.

*Confessional*

Fang: *the shark growled in annoyance at having missed a delicious meal.*

*End Confessional*

"Lin! Are you okay?" Ilyria let out, seeing her friend resurface from the lake. Her concern quickly turned into confusion when she saw Brad lift her alongside Butch. "Hey, Owl boy, go back to your own team, if you know what's good for you!"

"Sure, let me just leave someone who was about to drown to just die." Brad shrugged before swimming away.

"Bloody idiot," Ilyria groaned. "I wouldn't trust him. He's on the other team. Are you okay though? I was so worried!" She was about to continue, when Lucille cheered, having found two Chef gold idols, and an air horn blew.

"AND THE RACCOONS WIN AGAIN!" Chris announced. "Sucks to be you, Owls. You get to report to elimination. AGAIN."

"This stinks," Dianne let out. "We lost, again."

"So, who should we eliminate?" Mackenzie looked at Brad.

"Let's wait until we're on our way to the hotel before discussing this." Tatiana replied.

Revolting Raccoons

"We won again!" Juliette cheered. "This is so much fun! How should we celebrate guys?"

"I'm down to chill," Lucille shrugged.

"Hey, you doing alright?" Butch asked Lin, who was sitting away from the others, deep in thought about something.

"Hm? Oh, yeah, just not sure how to feel about what happened back in the water. Why'd Brad help me?"

"No clue." Butch shrugged. "I mean I could've brought you up by myself easily, but I appreciate the help. I don't think you should look too deeply into it to be honest."

"I still wouldn't trust him," Ilyria let out. "He seems very fishy. Almost like the Ortega crime family I had to deal with."

"I thought Lin was the stealth operative, where'd you come from?!" Butch asked in shock.

"Secret agent, hello?" Ilyria deadpanned.

"A little warning would be nice though! Geez!"

"Sorry," Ilyria let out. "But I still don't trust Brad. He's suspicious. What do you think, Lin?"

"Well… I don't know… Even if Butch could've helped me on his own I do appreciate the fact that he tried to help." The smaller girl admitted. "It's been a rough day and I just can't think clearly right now…"

"Sleep well then," Ilyria smiled, before looking at Butch. "So…when are you gonna do it?"

"Do what?" He asked.

"Bloody hell, tell Juliette you like her! I've seen how you look at her," Ilyria groaned.

"Oh! Uh… I'm, uh, waiting for the right moment!" Butch said, smiling sheepishly.

"You're hopeless. You have to move quickly, before another guy sweeps her off her feet," Ilyria let out.

"Don't you think I know that?! I'm not that dumb! You have to remember the last relationship with a girl I was a part of…"

"He who must not be named," Ilyria grumbled. "I can't believe he got bail. Well, at least Terra's keeping an eye on him."

"It's not just because of him. You're the last real relationship with a girl I had, and it didn't exactly end cleanly. Ever since then I never really had a clue as to how I could start dating another girl or what could happen in the relationship itself."

"Oh, Butch," Ilyria frowned. "I'm so sorry."

"Look, it is what it is." Butch replied, standing back up.

"Hey…I never told you about my first relationship," the spy said. "We've got some time, so…do you want to hear it?"

"If you think it'll help me straighten myself out, sure." He shrugged.

"His name was Jordan and he was a jerk, but I fell blindly in love with him. I didn't even realize it, when he wanted to brainwash me into his harem girl slave. Julia and the others tried to make me realize it, but it took me a while; literally almost brainwashing me." Ilyria sighed. "That's why I was a bit cold last season, as I was really bitter about him." She glanced at him. "But I know you're not a jerk. I know you can woo Juliette. You just have to use that Butch charm that made me eventually fall for you last season."

"Well that 'Butch charm' was just me being me. I mean, you're the one that randomly kissed me last season, remember?"

Ilyria smiled playfully. "I only did it to shut you up from your rambling after we were stuck in that bloody crate together."

"Ah, you know you wanted me, even then!" The brute laughed, playfully punching her in the arm. "Still, maybe I should just stick to my guns and ask her when I feel I'm ready. It might not be now, but it'll be soon."

"Y'know…maybe we could help get David and Byron together. What do you say?" Ilyria smiled.

"I don't know if I can play matchmaker. Not my style."

Ilyria pouted. "You'd have my help, and maybe it'll give you a few ideas on how to woo Juliette."

"Maybe…" Butch sighed. "That might be tricky though, I think Byron being a bit too direct and his accidental hints might be putting David off."

"We've got a lot of work to do then," Ilyria sighed.

In another part of the room, Lucille and David were chatting with one another. "Everything okay, David?" she asked.

"With me? Yeah, I think I'm alright. Byron and I are still in a really weird talking-stage situationship."

"Oh?" Lucille raised an eyebrow. "What happened?"

"I mean he's been super direct with me since the first challenge. Don't get me wrong, I like getting called handsome and stuff like that, but at a certain point it just becomes a tad bit creepy. As a girl, I'm sure you know how that can feel."

"Honestly…before I met Joseph…I never thought I'd get in a relationship," Lucille admitted. "Most people called me a freak since I wasn't able to walk back then."

"That's awful!"

"It was," Lucille nodded.

"Speaking of Joseph, he texted me back this morning…"

"Really? What did he say?" Lucille asked.

"He's cooled down a bit since we all video chatted with him, but he says he wants some space."

"I haven't texted him since we all video chatted," Lucille pointed out, which was true, when she showed the photographer her phone. The last texts between the two happened before the group video chatted with the champion.

"Hmm… Well, I don't exactly know what he's thinking…"

"Oh god…I really hope he doesn't want to end things…" Lucille looked down at the ground, trying to avoid crying. "It would really stink if he does…"

"Look, I'll talk to him. Try not to worry about it, alright?"

"Thanks, David," Lucille smiled a bit. "You're an amazing friend."

"Oh, I know!" The photographer chuckled.

Oblivious Owls

The team would sit around in the hotel.

"Gosh, why does this have to get hard every time?" Dianne groaned. "Who do we vote for?"

"Well, Spikke is still being pretty aggressive to us. But at the same time him being so aggressive means he's putting in so much good work." Lila pondered.

"Then there's Christopher, he hasn't done much for us," Mackenzie said.

"Hey!" the magician pouted.

"Honestly, it's just between those two," Matthew said. "Unless you guys can think of anyone else on our team who is the weakest link."

"Nah." "Sounds fair to me." Brad and Tatiana both shrugged.

"Huh?! Don't I get a say in this?!" Christopher exclaimed.

Spikke was about to speak, when Chris came in. "Time for elimination, Owls!"

"Well…let's get this over with," Mackenzie said, standing up.

Elimination Ceremony

The members of the Owls would be sitting on wooden stumps.

"Today, we're going back to the good-old-days, and the safety item is a marshmallow!" Chris announced. "Go ahead and cast your votes!"

Christopher: "Rude much? I didn't even get a say in the vote?! Ugh, I'm gonna have to vote for Brad. I don't trust him."

Dianne: "I'm really sorry, Christopher."

*static*

Matthew: "Brad's fishy. I'm voting for him."

*static*

Mackenzie: "I've gotta vote for Christopher."

*static*

Spikke: "I know we're friends, but I'm sorry, Christopher. My vote goes to you."

*static*

Lila: "Brad and Tatiana told me that I should vote for Christopher tonight, so that's what I'll do. They haven't steered me wrong yet."

*static*

Brad: "It's Christopher, plain and simple. I'm surprised Tatiana and I haven't had to try convincing anyone this time."

*static*

Tatiana: "Seems everyone's set on voting for Christopher. Guess it's his time to go tonight."

*static*

Tracy: "I have nothing against Christopher, but I'm voting for him this time. Brad's sort of fishy, but he's smart, and I think we need that right now."

*End Voting Confessionals* (Oblivious Owls)

"If I call your name, you are safe. Tatiana," Chris began, tossing her a marshmallow. "Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, Tracy, Spikke, and Lila."

Only one marshmallow remained. Brad and Christopher were left staring at it.

"Well. This is an interesting bottom two, don't you think?" Chris chuckled. "But anyway, the last person safe is…

…Brad!"

"Are you for real?!" Christopher was wide-eyed. "This stinks!"

"Sorry, Christopher. You're outta here," the host shrugged.

The magician glared at his former team, before stalking off to grab his stuff to board the Bus of Losers.

"Here's hoping you don't end up here again, Owls. You're dismissed." Chris said.

"AH, SORRY I'M HERE SO LATE!" Jenny said in a panic as she ran over to Chris.

"What took you so long?!" the host grumbled as he watched the intern try and catch her breath.

"Was talking to my husband… We're looking into buying a house…"

"Doesn't explain why you skipped out on the whole challenge." Chris huffed.

"We also got the copies of his album finalized." Jenny responded, handing Chris a poster of the cover art. It depicted him in a greyscale style wearing a black suit and solid red tie with his signature grin, holding a briefcase full of money inside. The name of the album emblazoned on the top of the CD case in a gold color: 'The Midnight Men - Deal with The Devil'

"Now this… I like it!" the host grinned.

"Typical," Spikke grumbled, walking away with his team. "He is the devil in disguise."

"Johan said it would be fitting." Jenny said, clutching her stomach in discomfort.

"Are…you okay?" Alexis asked.

"Me? Yeah… yeah I'm-" Jenny's eyes suddenly widened before she ran away from everyone and threw up a little into a nearby bush.

"Maybe you should take some time off? Or go to the doctor?" Alexis was concerned.

"You're probably right…" The blonde woman said as she wiped her mouth. "That's the second time today. Maybe it's something I ate…"

Fernando and Mackenzie

Mackenzie sighed, sitting on the steps of the hotel, with her guitar in hand. She strummed it a bit, humming.

"I thought I saw you out here. Is something wrong, my dear?"

"We eliminated Christopher," Mackenzie sighed, making room for the model to sit next to her. "I still feel bad about it though."

"I see. Well, from the limited interactions I had with him, he was certainly interesting. I understand why you'd be so upset, but look at it this way; he's able to spend time with Jerusha again."

"Oh yeah, he's not the only one this season dating an alumni," Mackenzie remembered. "Dante and Abigail are dating, as are Joseph and Lucille, and Spikke and Shauna." She glanced at him. "If I had been voted off, would you have been upset?"

"Of course, even though we're not on the same team, I do enjoy our little chats. You're one of the few people that doesn't outright hate me."

"Well, before joining the show, I didn't like you," Mackenzie pointed out. "But now, I see that you're not that bad at all."

"Well, if you had known me personally in the previous season, I'm sure you'd be singing a different song. Still, I'm happy we're at least able to be civil with each other." Fernando said, showing a rare smile.

Mackenzie felt her heart flutter. "Is it wrong that I want to spend more time looking at your handsome face?"

"On one hand, I appreciate that. But after stringing Abigail along, I'd rather not have to deal with your brother's anger. Nor that of everyone else if they get the wrong idea."

"I don't think you would string me along. You've learned your lesson…right?" Mackenzie crossed her arms.

"I have, but not everyone thinks so."

"You should do something about it then," Mackenzie said. "Show them that you've changed."

"Easier said than done, I'm afraid."

A light breeze would blow nearby, and the young musician shivered a little.

"Why don't we head inside, I don't want you to catch a cold out here."

"Sounds like a plan," Mackenzie stood up, putting her guitar in its case, and heading inside.

Lin

The stealth agent sat alone in the lobby of the hotel reading a magazine but not really paying attention to it. With a sigh, she set the book down and looked out in the distance towards nothing in particular.

"Hey."

The sudden male voice made her jump a bit, as she turned around she noticed Brad standing by her seat with a small box in his hands.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to scare you."

"Hmph, and I'm supposed to be the stealthy one…" Lin sighed. "Anyway, what do you want?"

"I simply wanted to talk. You've been stressed this entire day, and even if we're not on the same team I thought I should help." Brad explained.

"You already helped save me from drowning. I think you've done more than enough helping, even if Ilyria doesn't think so."

"Well, she's understandably cautious. Anyway, I didn't come here just to talk." Brad set down the box he was holding and brought out a chess board and pieces. "Would you like to play?"

Lin looked at the board with a blank expression before looking at the boy.

"Any particular reason why you wanted to play?"

"Again, you looked stressed. Personally, I try to occupy my mind with something else when that happens to me, and what better way to think about something else than with chess?"

"I see… Well, I think we can play a game or two before bed." Lin shrugged.

"Great." Brad replied, smiling for the first time that season.

"Well, we've said goodbye to our magician, so that means we're down to 19! Who'll be the next to go? And why is Jenny so…sick?" Chris asked. "Find out, on the next episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

"I'm surprised you care about that girl!" Chef piped up.

"Meh, she's under contract." Chris shrugged.
