Chapter 2: Alien Invasion

A few months later, the present

The trip to England had been more exciting for Jade than what she initially expected. Instead of doing boring archeological work, they found a secret society of magisters that had members throughout London and not only that, but they also discovered that they had stolen Stonehenge.

They discovered that they wanted to do something bad with it but to their luck, the bad guys, also they discovered. that they knew too much. Jackie and Jade were captured and now they were trying to get rid of them.

Figures, Jade thought to herself, and after she managed to free both of them, she needed to do something to help Jackie.

After a long talk with Uncle in a not-so-appropriate-situation, Uncle managed to cast a spell through the phone, and though it seemed that whatever thing the magisters were trying to do, it failed miserably, as London was still in one piece.

Not long after, several vehicles surrounded them and though both martial artists feared for the worst, soon enough, they realized that they were mistaken

"Woah!" Jade exclaimed, "Who are these guys!?"

"The proper authorities," Jackie said, proudly, and could not help it but sigh loudly realizing that this was over.

Jade then leaned forward to one of the jeeps that just arrived, to watch and enjoy the show as each one of the magisters were handcuffed and taken to the trucks and so did Jackie.

"Well, Jade, you helped to solve the mystery behind Stonehenge's disappearance," Jackie commented, but Jade did not mutter anything. Hearing the lack of response, Jackie realized that his niece was no longer beside him. "Jade!" He cried out but to his surprise and relief, Jade was near the stones, just in front of him.

"What is that?" Jade said pointing at the sky.

"I do not see anything, Jade" Jackie added, then he fell to his knees to try to see what his niece from her point of view, and to his surprise a reddish light started to become more noticeable in the sky.

Not long after, the still dark London's sky turned even darker as if the night had already come and an even darkish mist started to cover the city and it the place they were at.

"It seems they casted something." Jade commented.

Jackie had started to feel the willies, as Uncle used to say. As the mist got denser, everyone started to cough, both Jackie and Jade were now covering their mouths with their own hands.

"We need to get out here," Jackie added, picking up her niece with started to flee, at somewhat fast pace, but then he stopped in his tracks, noticing that the sky became irradiated as if fireworks had been fired up.

Then, a red beam came from the sky, annihilating one of the trucks that just arrived. "Bad day." Jackie said,

"What the!" Jade cried. "It's one of those things we heard about in the past!"

"It is not just a bad day." Jackie said, now worried. "We need to get back to San Francisco."

A few days later

The news about the unknown invasion had already broken throughout the world. Several air forces from across the world had tried to destroy whatever was hiding in the dark-mist-vortex but everything had been pointless as no one even made it close to it.

The city at least had been evacuated, and not many lives were lost in the process, still the authorities were reluctant to evacuate the rest of the country.

"I am telling you, Captain Black, that thing came from the outer space." Jackie commented, following his old friend, walking through the base.

"It's an alien Invasion!" Jade exclaimed, beckoning with her hands.

"I believe both of you, but the president does not, even my superiors still I'm having breakdown after explained them about the whole demons." Augustus said, still walking around the base. "They even assured me that they everything under control."

"Do they?"

"They do not!" Augustus stopped in her tracks, just in front of their room. "In fact, surveillance says it's getting bigger, and it has already destroyed London."

"We need to use the rabbit talisman to go back in time!" Jade exclaimed in front of both. "Those strange girls knew how to deal with those things."

Both shifted their glances back to the small girl.

"It is very risky Jade; we are not sure where we could end." Jackie stated, putting his hand on his niece. "I even think it was a dream, a very bad dream."

"But it wasn't a dream!" Jade then rushed to the room they were living now. "See, I still have the doll I got from there."

"Aiya!" Uncle loudly said, entering the section 13 from the phonebooth. "Uncle knows a spell that could take Jackie to that timeline."

"We've been researching, and the spell is pretty safe, and it can be casted several times..." Tohru added, with a book in hand. "…as long as we have an object from that timeline and of course the talisman"

"That's convenient…" Jade excitedly said, grabbing Jackie from her light blue sweater. "Jackie! Please!"

"If those girls know how to get rid of whatever is attacking London, we need their help Jackie," Augustus added.

Jackie just sighed loudly. "Let's try the spell."

"Yes!" Jade gushed, doing a victory jump.

"I am going alone, Jade." Jackie added.

"Tch…" Jade crossed her arms, in disappointment.
