Inspired by the latest chapter in 100YR where Natsu casually asks Lucy what their child's hair color would be.

Here's the gag. Natsu knows that whatever this was between them was end game. Lucy likes to pretend and act dumb sometimes but he knows she knows and she knows that he knows. To some certain extent they understood that they had each other and there was no doubt in how strong their bond was. But sometimes Natsu thinks to himself and wonders if Lucy is being serious or if she actually may be a little bit of an airhead herself. Maybe he really was rubbing off on her a bit because why does she still scream and kick at him as if he won't just dodge that or snatch her by the ankle when she finds him so casually laying in their bed?
That's why he wasn't so shocked that Lucy and him had a child back in Edolas but more so shocked that Lucy had laid an actual egg.
He freaked out thinking Edo-Lucy had laid an egg and this egg had grown up this big already. And so adorably. She had Lucy's eyes and his hair color and he had never been so in love with someone as much as he was in Nasha.
That's why she deserved better than Gray's droopy-eyed kid! Why is he making eyes at his Nasha?!
But why did it slip his mind so easily when they had returned? Maybe he had taken a little too many hits since they had come back from Edolas for the second time but he still kind of remembered that adorable face.
And here was Lucy acting like an air head again as she can't answer his simple question of what her child's hair color would be like because Lucy knows everything and she's one of the smartest people he knew. But he knew they were doomed when she screamed at him that she wouldn't know and she had that adorable blush painted across her skin and he was smirking at her like he knew something she didn't.
He'd most likely make fun of her for it later when they were alone and have her blush again but he truly liked to see her cheeks glow with his favorite color.
Especially when she's his favorite person and he has a lot to look forward to in the future.
Nasha was waiting for them and he couldn't wait to have her back.
This time he would actually teach her how to breathe fire.
