Chapter 15: The Escape II

Mandie had been waiting patiently by the restroom door, hoping for another kiss with her beloved. The alien princess was sitting on the sofa nearby, a dreamy look still plastered on her face.

"He kissed me...he even matched my rhythm...Oh, he wants me...and he's going to be my champion and marry me. I'm so happy!..."Mandie said in excitement as she put her hands on her cheeks, squealing.

She just couldn't believe it, her planned worked!

She managed to capture Phantom with her ingenious plan take him from that mud ball backwater world that he called home and during it all, he's fallen for her and now he's kissing her back and has agreed to marry her.

"Oh, everything is wonderful, and everything I wanted. I can practically hear our wedding bells already..."Mandie sighed dreamily as she began imagining their wedding once they arrive at Boudacia.

As much as she'd love a grand ceremony, she was marrying Phantom behind her parents back, so at best, they could have a simple ceremony performed by the grand priest but all that matters is that they get married.

Plus, she figured they can have a real big ceremony later, after she cemented the fact that he's all hers and Brutis can no longer bother her. The royal ceremony and feasting could come once her parents tempers cooled down and come to terms with their daughter's decision.

As the alien princess waited for her fiancé to be done, her mind was filled with thoughts on their future together.

"I wonder if our first child together will look more him or me. Either way, it's going to be so perfect!..."Mandie said excited as she already imagined their pups.

Powerful sons and daughters who'd bring the universe to their knees, just like their parents

"I can picture them now. I do hope they'll have their father's adorable dimples..."Mandie thought, feeling so happy.

Originally, she just wanted a mate to continue the family line and would have been okay with anyone strong enough (as long as it wasn't Brutis) but Phantom turned out to be even more special than that.

Not only is he the only being she has ever been bested by as well as kissed but...she never really felt like this with anyone before either.

She felt so in love and it got even stronger when he kissed her back.

"Ooh, Danny...you truly are worthy of me~..."She sighed as she kept thinking about that kiss and her chosen groom.

She was more than ready to get her hands on him and continue their lip-locking session for the rest of the 6 hour flight to Boudacia.

However, about 5 minutes have passed and her perfect groom still hasn't come out of the bathroom yet.

"Danny...Honey...hurry up... I'm ready to resume...after you wash your hands first!..."Mandie called, eager to get back to what they were doing.

She received no answer and frowned.

"Darling..."Mandie called again as she knocked the door.

Still no answer.

The alien princess frowned hard and was starting to get a bit impatient. She tapped her foot repeatedly and rapidly, she looked at the clock and saw seconds turn into minutes.

The alien princess frowned, wanting him out now!

"Danny Phantom! You're blushing bride is unwilling to wait anymore!..."Mandie yelled, her patience gone now.

She barged in and to her horror, saw that it was completely empty!

There was no Danny at all in the bathroom. The alien princess's eyes widen and then narrowed.

Her hair ignited as she realized that she has been tricked.

"I can't believe that I fell for the bathroom trick! That's the oldest excuse in the book!..."Mandie growled as she gripped the door handle hard enough to break it, snarling.

Where did her groom go?!

With Danny

The ghost boy had wanted to phase out of the ship but then realized that there was nothing out there but space...which made the space geek in him cheer but he knew he couldn't hold his breath for long. He had priorities.

"The last time I was in space, I used that high tech space suit...how am I gonna get home without one and without her blasting me out of the sky?..."Danny thought.

He remained invisible as he tried to avoid the robots and find some sort of means of getting out of here before Mandie realizes he is no longer in the bathroom.

That's when heard proof she already found out...and she wasn't happy about it either.

"Oh Danny...time to play HIDE AND GO DIE!..."Mandie's angry voice echoed.

Danny gulped and started looking around, not liking the sound of that.

"I guess she knows I'm not in the bathroom now..."He muttered as was looking for a way out.

He started flying around faster, getting more desperate to leave. He just hoped she wouldn't see him trying to get into any escape pod or at least find a place to hide and rethink his plan.

A few moments later

Danny quickly phased into the next room and kept out of the sight of Mandie's droids, who were no doubt looking for him.

He was panting as he tried to hide.

"Gotta keep out of sight..."He whispered as he kept his guard up. "There's gotta be an escape pod or something here..."He thought as he crept around his "fiancée's" ship, wanting to remain unseen as he looked for an escape route.

Thankfully, Danny managed to find the ship's map layout and tried to find where the escape pods are located. He was making his way around the corner before he heard someone coming down the hallway.

"Danny!..."Was heard, making the ghost boy turn pale.

"Oh no!..."He said as he quickly turned invisible

"Darling..."The same voice said, but it was less affection and more threatening as it got closer.

It was Mandie, who was on the hunt for him and she doesn't seem to be very happy that he ditched her.

"Where are you, my spirited one? I know you're here somewhere!..."Mandie's voice asked, wanting him now.

"I know you haven't left the ship, so come out and... we can both pretend that this little escape attempt never happened, or else I'll find you the hard way!..."She demanded.

"How about no?!..." Danny shouted while invisible, knowing those are terrible options. "Mandie, you remember how our last fight went, if not won't mind refreshing your memory!..."He yelled, still invisible.

"You promised you wouldn't fight back!..."Mandie shouted, almost like whining.

Danny rolled his eyes at that but still refused to come out of hiding.

"I promised not to when we get to your world... but we're not there yet, are we?..." He asked.

"We will soon, my Phantom..."Mandie said, making it clear that she won't give up as she kept searching the space craft for him.

"Come on out, Danny...let's...kiss and make up...and then we can proceed with our wedding..."Mandie said as she kept looking for him.

"No, thank you!..."Danny shouted, remaining invisible and keeping out of her sight.

"I'm not asking anymore! You're gonna be mine!..."Mandie shouted, no longer sounding "sweet".

"You'll have to find me first, Princess Mandy!..."Danny shouted invisible, angering the princess.

"IT'S MANDIE!..."She shouted, huffing angrily.

"I know..."Danny thought, happy to get under her skin.

He just hoped she wouldn't see him as he tried to make the ship go back.

His hopes were dashed since, Mandie used the same device from their second battle, the same one that she used to track his energy. She turned around and looked furious.

"Oh no..."Danny let out as she smiled darkly.

"THERE YOU ARE!..."Mandie said as she charged at him.

"Aww, dang..." Danny said as she came charging at him and pushed him to the wall, making him visible again unintentionally.

"Now...prepare for wedded bliss...OR EAT HOT PLASMA!..."Mandie yelled as she gripped him tight and looked furious.

"How about none of the above!..."Danny shouted as he broke out of her grip.

He blasted her, sending her several feet back. With her disoriented a moment, Danny began to run and Mandie followed suit, hot on his tail.

"Danny, come back and be mine!..."Mandie shouted as she chased him.

"Not a chance, ya psychopathic princess!..."Danny shouted as he kept running.

Mandie was saddened at this...before she got mad.

"THEN DIE!..."She shouted as her hair turned into flames and nearly left scorch marks on the ship's ceilings.

Danny barely managed to dodge a blast from her sword and couldn't help but make a comment.

"Note to self, never break up with a girl who has a plasma sword and hair that can turn into fire!..."The ghost boy muttered as he flew for his life/afterlife.

She sped up her running speed, not seeing where he was going as Danny phased through a wall, which she collided with.

Danny felt a moment of relief as he barely managed to catch his breath. Before he could get going, She then broke through the wall, losing all patience.

"Seriously?!..."Danny exclaimed as the alien princess looked really peeved off right now.

"The first thing I'm doing when we get back... aside from getting that fixed... is to have you locked up until you learn your lesson!..."Mandie said as she held her sword threateningly at her "future husband".

"No way...I'm going home. Plus, I already told you I'm too young to get married anyway!..."Danny shouted.

"Nonsense...my scanner indicate that you are well within age range to get married on my planet..."Mandie said.

"I'm 15 years old!..."Danny shouted.

"So what?! That's when males of my world reach marrying age..."Mandie said, like it's no big deal.

"Uh...how old are you?..."Danny had to ask.

"I'm 16 years old..."Mandie said, as if it were obvious.

Danny was floored at that. Mandie was pretty...statuesque and...developed for someone her age.

"You're...uh...kinda tall for a 16 year old..."He had to admit.

"Actually, I'm short compared to my parents..." She explained before taking her sword and aiming it again. "Now... where were we?..."She said in a menacing tone.

"Oh great..."Danny groaned, energizing his fists.

He was not looking forward to this.

Mandie came running at him with sword at hand, Danny fired a ghost ray.

She swung her sword and the impact created an explosion that pushed her back. Seeing an opportunity, Danny flew at her, ready to knock her out.

However, Mandie got back up and continued.

Danny frowned hard as he threw an energized punch at Mandie she parried the blow and went in for a kick. The boy dodged and flew back into the air, firing blast after blast. Mandie blocked the blasts as best she could.

The two "lovers" then threw powerful punches at each other... the force behind their colliding fists separated the two...sending them to opposite ends of the hall.

However, Mandie recovered and charged at him again.

"Just stop resisting and marry me, or face my wrath!..."Mandie said as she swung her sword again.

"No way...how many times do I need to say that I'm not interested?..."Danny shouted as he put up a shield.

"YOU DON'T GET IT, YOU'RE MINE NOW!..."Mandie yelled as she tried to slash him.

"Crazy freak!..."Danny said as he kept dodging her.

Mandie couldn't help but smirk, feeling some adrenaline as she kept fighting her darling.

"Now this is more like it..."She said as she pushed forward.

He pushed her back, but it made her want more...a lot more.

"You are so...swift...and spirited...I really did make a good choice in you..."Mandie said with a smirk as she was still grappling with him.

"I already told you I'm not interested!..."He yelled but Mandie, despite the anger and adrenaline, still felt attraction during the fight.

"You're so cute when you get like this..."Mandie said as she took the opportunity to grab his collar and yank him forward for another kiss.

"NOT AGAIN!..."Danny thought in horror as he phased away, breaking the kiss.

"CUT THAT OUT!..."Danny yelled as he rubbed his mouth.

Mandie just giggled and still felt the attraction from earlier, mixed in with the adrenaline from battle.

"I can't help it..."She said as she went forward and swiftly kicked the boy, pushing him away a few feet, making him slide on the floor.

"You should know, Darling...playing hard to get just makes me want you more..."Mandie said, enjoying this.

"I'm not playing!..."Danny yelled but the alien princess ignored that and pressed a button on her sword.

"I even modified my sword for you..."She added, fully intending to use force again.

The ghost boy gulped, not liking the idea of modification. The sword came down hard as he erected a barrier, but the energy from the blade went through his shield. The boy was shocked with a powerful force, knocking him back and transforming the ghost boy to his human form.

"Seriously? Now!?..."Danny cried.

Mandie stopped as she watched the boy. She blinked at his form, looking him over.

"Strange, is this a disguise you take to hide?..." She asked, eying his human form. "I mean, it's still cute..."She admitted.

Danny ignored that compliment and got back up.

"This is what I normally look like when I don't use my ghost powers..." He stated.

It took seconds for that last part to reach her mind. When it did, she dropped her remote in the process of reacting.

"Wait... ghost powers? You're a REAL ghost? Those are a thing on your world?!..." She asked.

"Yeah..."Danny said with a nod.

"I thought you and those creatures were just some kind of aliens that had ghost-like powers..."Mandie said.

"No, they are real ghosts and...well, technically, I'm half ghost..."Danny said, unsure why he's admitting that.

"You're a hybrid?..."She asked, jaw dropping in awe.

"Technically...yeah... that's one way to look at it..."Danny said, surprised by her reaction.

Mandie just stared incredulously as she became curious now.

"So... did your father or mother meet a spirit and-..."She paused, unsure how to word it but the ghost boy knew what she was trying to say.

"No..." Danny said flatly to stop her from making weird connection.

Mandie just stood there, trying to process this.

"Wait... so... can you even have kids? Do they inherit your abilities?..." She asked, since that was important to her.

"Uh... that's a good question...I don't really know since I haven't given it much thought..." He admitted, being honest.

Mandie scratched the side of her head before shrugging.

"Whatever... even if you can't, just having a fiancé should be enough for now...besides, my people's technology is far more advanced and we have made improvements with genetics, so providing an heir shouldn't be an issue..."She said, since her race has bred with outsiders before and still managed to progenate, in some sense.

"Besides, you're still strong and more than a match for anyone, This is enough for me, so we can still make this work..."Mandie said, not noticing the ghost boy's grim face.

"Great..."Danny said sarcastically as he dreaded what this could mean for him.

All this made him want to leave sooner. Since time wasn't on his side, that meant to act immediately, especially when Mandie started acting menacing again.

"Now...let's get you back in those restraints!..."Mandie said as she inched closer to her future consort.

"Not a chance!..."Danny said, going ghost again.

"Well, you can't escape...I managed to capture you once...I can do it again..."Mandie said as she aimed her sword at him once more.

Danny had a bad feeling about this as he tried to figure out what to do next.

"Think Fenton, use your brain! How do I get away from her?..."He thought, not wanting to risk getting tied up and forced to make out with her again.

He needed a plan but all he could recall of her so far is outside of being psychotic, she seems to love violence and fighting.

That's when he recalled her talking about him being strong and an idea came to him.

"Wait... so, I'm stronger than you?..."Danny said suddenly.

Mandie stopped her attack for a moment to answer him.

"Of course...you're the most powerful male I've ever battled, that's why I want you..." She said, like it was obvious.

"Okay...But... how will people know?..."He asked, hoping that this will work.

She stopped and lowered her weapon.

"Huh?..."She let out while the ghost boy smirked.

"I got her attention now..."He thought as he continued to speak to her.

"I mean... you got me locked up and all, you captured me by tricking me and weakening me. If people found out that's how you got me, they'd know you cheated. That doesn't exactly sound like you beat me, y'know? They'd probably see you as someone who cheated her way to victory and who's not worthy..."Danny said, hoping that it would work.

He was trying to use her pride as a warrior against her...he just hopes that she was listening to what he was saying.

Mandie stared for a long period of time before she spoke.

"Oh my gosh, you're right! DROID! Find any footage of our fight! If none, start recording!..."She ordered.

Danny smirked, relieved that his idea seems to be working as a droid came to the angry alien princess.

"Apologies, but all footage of your battles were not recorded, as you are not to return to Earth..."The robot said, angering her more.

"Ugh... quick, start record as Danny and I-..." She turned to face her beloved, only to see that Danny was gone.

"Uh... where'd he go?..."She asked but got no answer.

With Danny

The ghost boy flew through the walls, trying to find a way off the ship but he had to act fast. Turning invisible, the ghost boy went in search of escape pods.

"They always have them here in the movies..."Danny thought... and he was right as he guess proved him correct.

Lined up in a row were three escape pods. Two seemed under maintenance with the third operational.

"Thank you every Sci-Fi movie I've ever seen..."Danny said, phasing into the pods...but not before punching in the coordinates for Earth.

However, it proved to be difficult since it's really advance alien tech he is dealing with here.

"Man, this was easier with autopilot..."Danny said, hoping for some miracle.

Thankfully, the ship's computer heard him and began to work.

"Autopilot engaged..." The alien computer said, much to the teens relief. "Please identify destination..."It asked.

"Earth..." Danny said, hoping it would work.

To his relief, the computer did just that.

"Destination confirmed, going to earth..."The autopilot said before blasting away.

"Alright!..."Danny cheered.

He was free and just to make sure, he turned the pod intangible and invisible to make sure that Mandie can't spot him and shoot him out of the sky or worse.

Although, in the cold vacuum of space, the ghost boy could have sworn he had heard her scream.

Back with Mandie

Despite knowing he left, Mandie was not alerted to his escape till the speakers announce the launch of the escape pod. Once she was, she was enraged.

"Ugh... I can't believe this!..." She shouted in fury at the sight of an escape pod and her groom missing.

"Information: that escape pod will no doubt have to be paid for by you..." A droid said not so helpfully.

Mandie punched it in a fury and began to take her anger out on him, all the while, making a vow to her escaped prisoner/fiancé.

"I'll get you one day, Danny Phantom! You will be mine! Even if it takes forever!..."She shouted, furious about losing again as she kept tearing the droid to pieces.

1) Maybe...maybe not.

2) Honestly, I see her preferring chocolate, since she and Mark were so incompatible, she probably would like chocolate.

3) It's many thousand of light years away but Mandie's ship is specifically design to make trips like that in just a few hours...I guess it take a little over 6 hours for her ship to get to and back each planet.
