Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!
Chapter 16: Free...For now
Back on Earth
Sam and Tucker had managed to hack into the droid before it left and got some information, such as the name of Mandie's planet, her race and how far away it was since they had to rescue their friend (and Sam's "secret" crush) from a certain violent princess.
They wasted no time in heading to Fenton Works to "borrow" the Specter Speeder and going to Frostbite to borrow the Infi-Map.
Now, they were back in the lab and gathering as many weapons as possible for their rescue mission.
"Hurry, Tucker.. get everything!..."Sam nagged as she pushed him. "We gotta save Danny from that space case before he's married against his will and I don't even want to know what she plans to do with him after the ceremony..."She reminded, having a bad thought of that princess dragging him down the alter while dressed in a tuxedo.
"I'm hurrying...I wanna save him too y'know!..."Tucker said as Sam pressured him more.
"Okay, I'm going but it would be a lot faster, if these things weren't so heavy..."Tucker said as he dropped his half of the weapons.
The blasters went off, ricocheting off the walls for moments. Sam was safe , but the boy ducked until it was safe.
"Okay, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton need to tell us if those things have the safety on..."He muttered under his breath.
He got up and carried the last laid into the Specter Speeder, having everything set for their rescue mission.
"Finally...come on...we don't have any time to waste..."Sam said, grabbing an armful of weaponry inside and even making sure they had some extra oxygen tanks too.
The rocket roared to life as they turned the engine on. It was a good thing the Fenton's were out chasing the Box Ghost again, since they'd have a cow or worse if they saw this again.
The goth girl paid no mind as she turned to her friend.
"Buckle up, Tucker! This is gonna get ugly..."Sam said, looking determined.
As they were about to take off in the Specter Speeder, someone phased through the ceiling and landed right in front of them.
It was a certain white haired, green eyed ghost boy who looked exhausted as he morphed into his human form after landing.
"FINALLY!..." Danny went in relief as the two spotted him.
"Danny!..."Sam and Tucker both shouted as they ran out of the Specter Speeder and went to him.
He smiled at the two, happy to be home.
"Guys..."He said in relief as they went and hugged him.
"You're okay..."Sam said in relief as she hugged him.
"And you got away?..."Tucker asked, glad to see him.
"I did...I barely managed to escape that psychopath with the hair on my head and without a wedding ring..."Danny said, just happy to be back home now.
"How? What happened out there?..." Sam asked.
"A lot...It's a long story...Let's just say I got to know her a little better than she expected and I took an escape pod before she noticed..."He said, not wanting to talk about what he had to do to get Mandie's guard down.
"Dude, that's awesome. You gotta let me see it..."Tucker said, grinning at the idea of seeing a real life alien escape pod.
"Sorry, but I kinda crashed it in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and just kept flying until I got here. It's probably halfway down to the floor by now..." He said.
"Aww dang..." Tucker went
"Ordinarily, I'd be upset at the blatant pollution you committed, but since you were abducted and all and it was your way home, I'll ignore it this time..." Sam said in her usual way.
He smiled in amusement before he recalled how he almost had to walk down the aisle today.
"Yeah, sorry. After everything up there, it's kinda hard to think about the environment..."Danny sighed as he stretched himself, trying to relax.
"Mandie got even crazier this time..."He said, and it was kinda an understatement.
"Ouch..."Sam and Tucker said in sync.
"Yeah..."Danny muttered.
"What's worse is that I have a feeling this won't be the last time we see her...she's made it very clear that she's not giving me up..."He said, recalling how desperate she got on the ship.
"Seriously?..." Sam asked, not liking this.
The ghost boy nodded.
"Seriously! Even Paulina isn't that fixated on me!..." Danny said, recalling the way she looked at him when she forcefully made out with him.
"Talk about irony...a super hot alien princess shows up and has the hots for you but she also wants to conquer the universe, plus she's clingy too..."Tucker said, only to be ribbed by Sam.
"Shut it, Tucker! He's been through enough as it is!..."Sam snapped.
"Oops..." Tucker went sheepishly
Danny groaned as he went to the living room where the sofa is, landing face down. His friends followed, looking worried for him as he collapsed from exhaustion.
"Danny?..."Sam said, wanting to be sure that he really is okay.
"I don't want to leave this couch for the next 12 hours..."He said, dead tired and not moving.
He couldn't believe that in the last few hours, he had been abducted by a romantically starved alien princess and barely managed to avoid a forced marriage with her.
"When did my life get THIS crazy?..."He said, sleepily and grateful to be free of her.
At least for now.
Meanwhile
"I CAN'T BELIEVE HE GOT AWAY!..."Mandie shouted as she destroyed many things in her ship in anger.
She smashed every droid or furniture she could get her hands on until her entire ship looked like a tornado went through it as it was smashed and thrashed until it was nothing but rubble. Thankfully the navigation systems were still intact but the alien princess was still mad.
"DROIDS, CLEAN THIS UP!..."Mandie ordered the few droids that somehow managed to avoid being thrashed by her.
As they did what they were told, the alien princess was fuming and snarling over the fact that her future mate had both tricked her and gotten away.
"I WAS SO CLOSE!..."She shouted, feeling furious.
She had him...she actually had him, had been kissing him and was planning wedding but because she let her guard down and let her hormones get the better of her, he took advantage of that and got away in one of the escape pods.
He tricked her by using his good looks and charm, as well as her own emotions against her. He even used the oldest trick in the book and SHE FELL FOR IT and he also used her pride as a warrior against her by making her find proof of their battle to distract her.
It was infuriating!
Had it been anyone else, Mandie would have been impressed by how underhanded and surprisingly tactical he was but right now, she is mad.
Still, a part of her was impressed with his manipulative side and admired his quick thinking.
"I underestimate how clever you are, Danny...well, I won't next time. Seems I'll have to step up my game..."Mandie thought, grinning in anticipation.
She felt even more determined and even kind of impressed by what he did. It will make catching him all the more satisfying, especially when she goes down that aisle with him and puts that ring on his finger.
"I want him even more now..."She mused, eager to try again.
Mandie would have gone back to Earth to try and recapture her fiancé but it was late and she had to get back home before her parents noticed she was gone again and get suspicious of her whereabouts.
If they find out what she is doing before she is ready, it could spell trouble.
So, she would let Danny stay on his little planet...for now.
"Just be patient for now, Mandie. It will all be worth it in the end..."Mandie thought to herself as her planet came into view.
A few moments later
Mandie's ship landed on her planet and when asked where she was, she lied and says that she was just that she went for a flight to scout other planets, saying she found none with life so far.
"This is getting annoying. When mother and father finally acknowledge Danny, I will be free to fight him as I please..."She thought as she ignored her minions and walked down the hallways.
The princess needed a target for her anger. And since she'd destroy any droids in a single punch, the girl made her way to the holo-deck for virtual training with combat droids. Maybe she could input Danny's data and create fight with him.
That made the girl swoon a bit, feeling like a child after some sort of candy right now.
While the comparison was odd, nothing seemed off to the girl. She, however, saw herself as more of a huntress...one who was after a worthy prey.
Mandie frowned as she felt it was not enough as she took out her aggression here.
She is no stranger to hunting as she and her father had done it many times before puberty as part of her training. However, right now, she is hunting for a husband to keep, one who could match her and who's arrogance didn't outweigh his strength.
"There's gotta be some way to get him interested in me. Until then, I have to make sure I am in top shape when I see him again..."She thought as she kept practicing her sword training until someone truly unwelcome showed up to bother her.
"Hello again, my ravishing Princess Mandie..."Brutis's voice was heard.
Mandie growled, her mood worse by his presence.
"If it hadn't been for that stupid trick, I'd be wed to Danny Phantom by now!..."She thought in frustration before she turned around and scowled at her unwanted suitor.
Brutis stalked the in the opposite direction, walking towards the girl. He scanned the girl, looking over her, like always. His face contorted with another lecherous grin.
Brutis smirked as he walked with a strut in his step while his female admirers were swooning over him several feet away but didn't dare speak to him since he was trying to court the princess. Mandie knew how stupid they were since they actually thought she cared if they swooned over Brutis or not.
They were blinded by loyalty and love for the pretty-boy Boudacian. The princess, however, was not affected by his "charm" and was just annoyed by his presence.
"I'm busy, Brutis. Leave!..."Mandie snapped.
"Now, now...is that any way to speak to the man who will be your husband?..."Brutis said in a condescending way.
Mandie rolled her eyes.
"Brutis, I have no time to waste entertaining your delusions. I'm busy!..."Mandie said as she walked passed him but the nobleman followed after her.
"I'm not. I heard you returned and wished to greet you, my princess..."Brutis's voice was heard.
Mandie growled, her mood worse by his presence.
"I said that I was busy, Brutis. Why don't you go to the shooting gallery? I hear they're out of targets!..."Mandie snapped but the boy wasn't scared.
She then stormed away, but he wouldn't let her go as he followed.
"I think you need to listen, princess..."He said but she ignored him.
Mandie kept walking, wanting nothing to do with the boy, even if her father favored him. Brutis, however, didn't stop as he continued to pester the short-temper princess.
"Mandie, it's about time that you stop with your silly games and focus on what's truly important such as the throne...and me..."Brutis said, sending a prideful look.
His fan girls all swooned over him and almost fell at his feet, much to Mandie's disgust.
"You!?..."Mandie barked as her hair started to spark. "What's so great about you!?..."She asked.
Brutis smirked, uhintimidated by the girl's rage. The same could not be said for their audience, who stepped back.
"I am the most eligible bachelor of the Boudacian empire and the greatest warrior in this or any universe..."He said as he grinned. "No one but me is worthy of your hand in matrimony..."He said as he presented his over-inflated image of himself.
"As if!..."She thought in disgust.
"That's a matter of opinion..."Mandie said, shooting him down but he continued to pester her.
"What do you say you and me take a walk over to my private quarters and...make advances in our courtship..."Brutis said as he eyed her lecherously.
Mandie growled and stomped his foot, making him yelp in pain.
"The only advances you'll ever make is on the battlefield!..."She snapped as she punched his chest, making the boy fall over painfully.
"BRUTIS!..."The fangirls shouted in worry.
The princess walked away with her nose held high while Brutis's fan-girls went to him, lifting him up.
"That Mandie...such a temper..."One fangirl said, but quietly to avoid the princess's wrath.
"Are you alright, Brutis?..."The other asked glancing at the pretty boy.
"You're so gorgeous..."The third one said, looking at him dreamily.
Brutis ignored them as he went after Mandie again, refusing to give up.
"Now, Mandie, don't be ridiculous..."Brutis said, walking over. He didn't touch the princess for fear of any repercussions. "Our union will bring honor to the royal Boudician bloodline. Our children will conquer this entire galaxy. Not to mention the pups will be the strongest, the smartest, the bravest, not to mention the best looking. They'll be just like me..."He said, thinking that would win her over.
Mandie glared as her hair flamed up. She stalked up to the man, pushing him back with intimidating eyes and a snarl.
"Listen up, Brutis. And I say that since you apparently can't hear a word I say, but you have failed to prove yourself in combat against me!..." Mandie shouted as she swung her sword in warning. "You haven't proven anything to me or the Boudician royal bloodline, nor will you ever be anything but a thorn in my boot. So, back off!..."She yelled at him.
"Come now, Mandie...you're already dishonored by your divorce with that idiotic squid and your defeats by that Earth pup Turnbaum or whatever his name is..."Brutis said, playing a different angle.
It only earned him a punch in the stomach from the alien princess who he tried to court, who's hair was ignited again over that reminder of her failure.
"Don't remind me! Plus, that earth pup's name is Turner and I'm sure he's less of a pain than you are..."Mandie said.
While she hated Turner for ruining her plans, she could respect him as a fellow warrior since he did have powerful allies. Besides, he was less annoying than Brutis.
Then again, it wasn't hard to be either.
Mandie turned around, walking away. Her hair returned to normal as she sent the egotistical soldier a smirk.
"What?..."Brutis asked, annoyed.
"I was just thinking how you'll never beat me..."Mandie said, making the elite warrior flex in anger at the taunt, but Mandie continued.
"Besides, I found someone. Someone that proved himself to me, and will soon do so with mother and father..."Mandie said, deciding to just be blunt.
Brutis heard this and frowned.
"Who?!..."He demanded, looking trespassed.
"Someone who not only proved himself, but will undoubtedly provide Boudacia with what it needs..."Mandie said, thinking about Danny.
"Someone who is more worthy of not only my hand in marriage, but also my respect and intrigue, than you are..."She taunted, now turning around, giving Brutis a cocky smile before leaving.
Anger choked Brutis. He couldn't say anything but rasps, not even as the princess walked away. Mandie went back to her palace, leaving a jealous and angered Brutis to sulk.
Whoever this new rival was, had his attention.
"More worthy?! Then let's see if he can prove himself against me!..."The arrogant nobleman thought in anger before storming off, ignoring his admirers who kept all their attention on him.
They were small prizes to him as he was fixated on the princess who had the looks...and...perks, that he wanted.
Now, Mandie has mysterious suitor and Brutis was determined to show that this insult would not stand. The arrogant nobleman began to scheme, wanting to find out how to deal with this obstacle in his way.
Mandie would be his, he would make sure of it.
Meanwhile
On Earth
In a certain underground laboratory, Vlad was looking over footage his spy bugs have gathered these last few days.
Ones focusing on his young foe and a certain alien girl who has been visiting their planet lately.
Vlad was surprised but fascinated by the concept of aliens...even more over the fact that this one seemed fixated on Daniel for some reason.
"Hmm...she seems to be rather spirited...even though Daniel seems unsettled by her..."Vlad commented.
Due to only gathering more recent footage and having no direct contact, he has no idea what Mandie's REAL intent is on this world but he doesn't care. This is a great opportunity for him to gain more power and, if possible, be rid of Jack Fenton as a bonus.
It will leave Earth and Maddie all for himself...he liked the thought of that.
"Hmm...An entire planet of aliens with advance technology, powerful warriors AND a drive to conquer the universe?..."He thought with a smirk.
"Well now, it seems destiny is at my door...so I better open it..."He said, smirking even more now as he knew that he was destined to rule all and this may be a good chance to expand his ambitions.
Vlad smiled, strategizing how he would take control over the planet and its people. The possibilities could be endless but first, he needed to chat with one of the aliens.
"I best be ready to make contact..."He thought before laughing fiendishly, already planning how to use this to his advantage.
