Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!
Chapter 30: Friends?
Previously
"I wish I knew how this thing works, then maybe I could respond and tell her not to send these...or how to make this thing do softer landings..."He thought, making a mental note to ask Mandie how this rock-email thing works when she gets here tomorrow.
"Tomorrow?..."He thought as he scratched his chin, mentally prepare himself for any surprises she might have in store.
Tomorrow is Saturday and Mandie is gonna show up...and unlike her past visits, she isn't going to ambush him with intents to hunt him down and drag him to the alter...at least, he hopes that's the case.
"I gotta give her the benefit of the doubt and hope that she listens. She might be nuts but she saved Dani's life. I owe her that much at least..."Danny thought as sat looked up at the sky.
The ghost boy sighed as he continued to fly and clear his mind, mentally preparing himself for what tomorrow may bring.
All he knew was that if it involves that alien princess, anything and everything could happen...he just hopes it doesn't end with more kidnappings or broken bones.
Present Time
Mandie had just sent her meteor-mail message to her beloved, smiling.
"I spent a great deal of time making sure it was perfect..."She said, still smiling. "I hope that he's received it..."She mentally added.
It's been days since she had last seen him and she really wanted to, as Danny said, hang out again to both try out this new friendship between them...and also see if she can get him to fall in love with her too.
That's her new strategy, to play the long game and try and win the ghost boy's heart on his own terms.
"He said that he wants a girl that he knows, who can be...kind... and who can respect him who he is..."She thought, smirking. "Well, I can easily show him just how kind and understanding I can be during my visit tomorrow..."She thought, grinning widely as she imaged the entire thing.
She would visit Danny, spend her time off from her duties enjoying earthly customs with her beloved Danny and plant the seeds of their destiny.
If she played her cards right, it wouldn't take too long to earn his trust and then his heart...she hopes.
"This is where the true battle starts. One where I will emerge victorious..."Mandie thought, giggling as she ran to her room.
She had to pick the right outfit and make sure her hair and makeup will be absolutely perfect for tomorrow's visit.
Dieanna and the other servants saw this behavior.
"What is the matter with her these days?..."A maid asked.
"The princess has been acting rather peculiar lately. Ever since her trip back from Earth but we should leave her be for now..."Dienna said before going back to her chores.
She knew that it was best not to interfere with whatever the princess is up to...she knew from personal experience that it never ends well if people get in Mandie's way...especially in regards to finding a mate.
The Next Day
It was Saturday and Danny was currently waiting on the outskirts of town in the dense woods.
He was waiting for Mandie, who is planning on visiting him today as part of their new "friendship".
"I hope that she at least tries to stay platonic..."He thought as he looked up. "And that her landing is less destructive than her way of sending mail..."He mentally added.
His parents were currently inventing in the lab and he knew his friends and sister weren't exactly keen on him being here but he had to give Mandie a chance.
"Alright. I can do this. just have to keep calm. Mandie isn't so bad, when you get to know her..."He thought... "I hope..."He mentally added, feeling uneasy.
A few moments later, he saw something appear up in the sky, a large, familiar, diamond-shaped spaceship that landed among the density and coverage of the tress, away from anyone who could see it. It also thankfully didn't damage it's surroundings.
He stood there as the landing legs extended from the ship, propping it up as the engines died and the lights dimmed. He knew already who it was.
"She's here..."He said, feeling nervous but prepared for anything.
The spaceship doors opened and out came Princess Mandie, walking with confidence as she eyed Danny. Once the ghost boy saw the alien princess, he was speechless.
He noticed that she was wearing tasteful touches of makeup on the top of her eyelids with some on her cheeks, along with red lipstick with an outfit similar to her usual one piece dress but in a light amber color, not to mention she also had a hint of new perfume. She also had a sultry look on her face as her eyes fluttered as she took her first steps onto the grassy fields and close to Danny.
"Greetings, Phantom...my darling...it is good to see you again..."Mandie said in a friendlier tone than expected.
Danny gulped and composed himself as he caught his breath.
"Okay, I know she's hot, but wow!..."He thought before speaking.
"Uh...Hi, Mandie..."Danny said, trying to sound calm.
The alien princess smiled as she got closer, only taking a few steps closer as she noticed the ghost boy blushing.
"I see you got my message, Danny..."Mandie cooed, brushing off a bit of her hair from her face. "I hope my little invite didn't alarm you yesterday..."She said.
"You mean the meteor mail?..."Danny smiled and waved his hand in dismissal. "Nah. Actually, I kinda liked it. It was cool seeing and actual rock from space..."He admitted.
"Then perhaps I should send another one for next time..."Mandie said, smiling.
Danny held his words as he realized the danger of that, not only for himself but for others as well. Contact via falling space rocks was not applicable for a secretive superhero life.
"Maybe we can just text each other the next time we want to hand out..."Danny said as he brought out his phone.
"Oh...exchanging contact information..."Mandie almost squeed. "Does this mean you like me already?..."She asked.
"Sure, as a friend...I guess..."Danny's tone was neutral and clueless, but it still sent a tingle down the girl's spine.
Mandie got out her phone, or at least the intergalactic equivalent of it, and exchanged numbers with the ghost boy, staring at the code before putting away her device.
"Wonderful, this way I can reach you, anytime I desire..."She said, pleased.
"Sure..."Danny said, knowing that he basically invited her to call him whenever if inconveniences him. "Still, it's better than having to explain why the yard has a crater..."He thought with a shrug.
The alien princess then approached him, with that same smile on her face.
"So..."Mandie began as she wrapped her arm around Danny's. "Where to first?..."She asked in a sultry way.
Danny had suggested they start by getting to know each other but he did not call this a date since he knew it'd play out badly for him. not to mention the girl had a lot to learn about marriage and actual dating on Earth.
He phased out of the girl's grip as her gave her a stare.
"Did I do something wrong?..."Mandie asked as she was mentally distressed after all the preparation she had done for this day.
She didn't want to mess up with him again after she has made some much progress with him.
The ghost boy just sighed and sent her a stern look.
"Okay, if we are going to make this work...we need some ground rules..."Danny said.
"Such as?..."Mandie asked.
"No attacking humans, even if they are annoying...no flying into a rage and smashing property or anything...no sudden invasions to my planet, no threatening and no attempts to force me into marriage or attempts to get me to your planet against my will...and try and keep the touchy-feely stuff at minimum..."Danny said, counting with his fingers.
Mandie looked annoyed at the first stuff and pouted at the last part. However, she knew that they are in a delicate state and she needs to be flexible here.
"Can you clarify the last one?..."She asked.
"Just try and keep your hands to yourself...at least, don't do things without permission..."He said.
Mandie heard the last part and smirked before nodding.
"Okay, that sounds agreeable so far...but.."Mandie said before she gave the boy a funny look, asking an even more important question now.
"Even if we are to be friends right now...is kissing alright?..."She asked, leaning closer to the ghost boy's face and hoping she won't be denied that pleasure.
Danny elt his entire face blush into a new shade of red at that but he tried to collect himself.
He knew this was going to be a prominent detail and to prepare a special case for that.
He sighed as he answered her.
"Not without permission and you have to accept it if and when I say no, that means no. Otherwise, we are ending this day early..."Danny said seriously.
All Mandie heard was that he didn't refuse the offer to lock lips with each other at some point, making her smirk.
"Hmm...so he won't mind if I kiss him under proper times..."She thought, intrigued.
"Very well...so, what shall we do to begin this outing and enjoy our wonderful new friendship, Danny?..."She said.
Danny pointing to the town, or more specifically, the pier at the beach.
"I was thinking something simple like a trip to the carnival. Hope you don't mind that..."Danny said.
"Sounds perfect, let's go have some earth fun!..."She said, eager to get started with their outing.
Danny nodded, but noticed how Mandie's appearance was eye-catching, and not just the fact she was hot. It wouldn't take long for a yellow skin girl to circulate the web, not to mention the space weapon strapped to her waist could also raise some red flags too.
"Is there something wrong?..."Mandie asked, curious as to why he suddenly stopped.
Danny sighed as he tried to be frank with her.
"Mandie, we can still go but you gotta make yourself look more human. Don't you have some sort of device that will let you do that?..."Danny asked.
Mandie smirked as she came prepared
"I figure that you might have some concerns about me blending in, so I brought the perfect device for this occasion..."She said as she pulled out a certain item.
"What is that?..."Danny asked as he looked at it.
"It's called a Fake-i-fire, it allows the user to disguise themselves into anything in order to blend in..."Mandie said.
Danny smiled, looking amazed.
"Cool, your species actually makes stuff like this?..."He asked, fascinated.
"Actually, I stole this from my enemies, the Yugoputamians just before me and my people got sent to this world..."Mandie said casually as she put it on.
Danny heard this and frowned.
"Why am not surprised to hear something like that at this point?..."He said, frowning. "Sheesh, her people are only interested in conquering, not researching. Sounds like teenagers..."He though, snarking that last part as the alien girl adjusted some dials.
Turning the "wheel" on his belt and it stops at a little old lady that seemed to be in her eighties...which is just what Mandie turned into.
Danny was stunned with a blank expression, not knowing whether to laugh or correct the girl. So he did both.
"Uh...I'm impressed that you can blend in, but I don't think Boudacian years make you that old..."He said, laughing at her expense.
Mandie sent him an annoyed look at that crack.
"You're lucky that you have good looks, otherwise I'd thrash you for saying that to me..."Old Mandie said before turning the "wheel" again.
This time, she turned into giant high-heel with her eyes. She quickly turned the wheel a few more times, becoming a purse, a bottle of perfume, a french poodle and even a plush toy...which irritated the female warrior even more.
Danny watched this, doing everything possible to hold in his laughter. He almost wished this gag would go one for longer.
"I wonder what she'll turn into next..."He thought as the transformations continued for the next few minutes.
Eventually, Mandie managed to find the disguise that she was looking for.
The wheel landed on what is called "pretty teenage girl" and thus, that is what she turned into. Danny was stunned as he watched Mandie transform into a normal, yet highly attractive, human girl. Her antennas, pointy ears, claws and fangs were gone and she looked essentially like a human version of herself. She now had a fair skin tone instead of her normal yellow one. She also wore a more earthly fashion with a white blouse, blue skirt, and black boots. The only thing that remained the same was her green eyes and her long, purple hair.
The now human looking Mandie sent a flirty look to the ghost kid, noticing how he was staring in awe.
"So, how do I look?..."She asked as she struck a pose.
Danny blushed and nearly lost himself at her new look, before he gave a nervous smile.
"You look fantastic as a human..."He admitted and Mandie was pleased.
"Good..."She said before grabbing him by the arm. "Now, I believe that we are wasting time. Let's us resume this outing of ours..."She said, giggling innocently.
Danny recovered and removed his arm from her.
"Remember the ground rules, we're friends and we are trying to get to know each other better. So no arm locking..."Danny said strictly and Mandie pouted.
"Fine..."She pouted, but complied.
The two unusual teens soon left the area to enjoy their day out, unaware that the entire time, someone had been spying on them.
It was Sam who had kept her distance with a pair of binoculars. Next to her was a reluctant Tucker, who was experiencing some deja-vu right now.
"There they are..."Sam said in fury as she stared at the now disguised Mandie.
"Sam? Do you think it's a good idea to spy on Danny with the extremely hot, yet violent alien warrior?…"Tucker remarked.
"She's a world conquering megalomaniac! Plus, she tried to kidnapped him! I don't trust her!..."Sam snapped. "Now are you going help me keep our best friend safe, or not?..."She asked.
Tucker sighed and nodded, since he could understand her point...even if it's not the REAL reason why she is here.
Sam then used the binoculars again as she kept tailing the unusual couple. Tucker frowned at her, he was just here to make sure that his friend didn't do something regretful.
"When is she gonna just tell him about how she feels and be done with it?..."He thought, frustrated and annoyed by the situation they have somehow gotten in.
Sam didn't notice as her eyes were still on Danny and his new "friend".
"They're moving! Come on!…"The goth girl said, ignoring the boy as she walked away.
Tucker sighed, but complied, having a feeling this was going to be a long night.
The two teens followed after their friend and his alien admirer, with the goth girl hoping to stop the other female, no matter what.
