Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 36: A Princess's Plan II

As Sam sulked, the two unique teenagers were trying to have some fun together in each other's company, despite the sour mood from earlier. Mandie quickly tried to lighten the mood by changing the topic to something that she noticed about Danny from earlier. Namely, his latest victory.

"Darling, you moves were fantastic and mesmerizing as you took down that foolish ghoul for daring to intrude on our special outing together..."Mandie said in an admiring way.

"Well, it wasn't all that impressive as you make it out to be. It was just Klemper and next to the box ghost, he's not much of a threat..."Danny said, being modest as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Still, you handle him with such easy that it barely took much effort from you at all. On Boudica, to single-handedly defeat your foe with such ease is seen as an act of incredible strength and focus...and without even breaking a sweat too. Now that is truly amazing..."She said, meaning it.

"You think so?..."Danny said, rubbing the back of his head.

"I know so, honest..."Mandie said, happy that they were getting along together.

Danny even started to blush from her praise, which also didn't go unnoticed by the space princess.

"I see that Daring likes being praised for his power as much as my people do..."She thought, pleased.

"I guess Mandie can do more than just flirt. It's kinda of nice hearing her say that...sort of..."He thought, feeling a little more at ease around her.

Unfortunately, their fun was cut short when Danny had the misfortune of running into someone when he turned the corner, someone that he didn't want to see at this particular moment...or at all!

"WATCH IT, FENTONOWSKI!..."Was heard.

"Oh no..."Danny said in slight dread when he saw who he ran into.

It was Dash and as always, he was NOT happy to see him.

"Uh, sorry Dash. I'll just...take the highway..."Danny said as he tried to walk around him, but the jock blocked him and slammed his fist against the wall.

That was never a good sign, and the ghost boy was certain this was the start of trouble, especially with the mean look the jock was giving him.

"Not so fast, Fenturd..."The jerk said.

"Uh, I gotta go..."Danny said while the bully kept blocking his path.

"I don't think so, loser. Do you know what you just did?…"Dash asked like the greatest offense was delivered to him. "I was about to score with some hotties when you came and scared them off with your lameness!…"He said in a mean way.

"Uh, I don't think that was me..."Danny said.

"I beg to differ..."The jock said, cracking his knuckles.

Even worse, his friends were nearby and blocking any possible escape for the ghost boy in case he DOES get out of the alpha jock's grip. Either way, anything the ghost boy did took him out of the frying pan and into the oven.

"Great. Mandie comes over and I have to run into Dash of all people. I should've expected this..."Danny thought, hating this.

Mandie blinked as she instantly compared the boy to another man child she already hated on her home planet.

"So this teen is a lesser version of Brutis…guess there one in every universe…"Mandie thought to herself.

"Uh, excuse me, would you mind leaving him alone..."Mandie said, stepping in between the two and getting the bully's attention.

Dash smiled when he saw her and combed his hair with one hand as he stood up straight. He then sent a grin to the girl and Mandie's theory didn't go unproved as Dash eyed the girl head to toe a few times. Her beauty made him smirk with predatory intent, even though it was all just a holo-disguise. But that didn't stop him from trying to hit on her.

"Hello Babe, who are you? I don't believe I've seen a hottie like you around. And I don't think you've seen me..."Dash said, sending her a flirty look.

Mandie was not impressed and rolled her eyes, hoping this wouldn't be the same as talking to Brutis. She hopes this one would be less interested in fighting. Still, she decided to just answer him.

"My name is Man-..."

"Dy..."Danny piped up.

"Mandy...Hurtz..."He said quickly, while Mandie seemed confused.

"Go with it, you can't blow your cover...remember..."He whispered to Mandie, who nodded and went along with it.

"Yes, my name is Mandy Hurtz..."She said, hating that she had to use that alias but not having a choice right now.

Dash just sent her that stupid, flirty grin again and approached her, still eying her.

"Well, Mandy. My name is Dash Baxter, most popular guy at Casper High and quarterback...which reminds me, do you like quarterbacks?..."He asked.

Mandie however, remained unimpressed.

"I don't even know what that is and I already hate it..."She thought, frowning.

"Don't care..."She said, rejecting him.

"Now, do you mind? Danny was showing me around..."She said as she took Danny by the arm, attempting to end this meeting.

However, this angered the bully, who pulled Danny away, slamming him against the wall, dusting his hands of him.

"Hey..."Mandie yelled while Dash scoffed.

"Just a sec, Babe…"The jock said before glaring at his favorite target, ready to interrogate him.

"Alright, Fenturd, spill it!…"Dash shook Danny by the collar, growling at the boy. "Why is this hottie all over you? Why is she even talking to the likes of you?!…"He demanded.

Danny glared at him and tried to brush him off. He already had to deal with one idiot, so another was already unwelcoming. It almost warranted the boy to try and use his ghost powers but he controlled himself, as per norm. But the norm now included the ghost boy spending time with an alien.

He pushed himself off and dusted his shirt with his hands, trying to keep some dignity intact.

"That's none of your business, Dash. Now why don't you just leave us alone? I think I saw more girls to hit on over there..."Danny said, wanting him gone.

Dash, however, just kept pestering him, grabbing the boy by the collar again. This time, the jock pushed him against the wall to ensure his target wouldn't get out.

"Oh? And what are you gonna do about, Twinky..."The jock said, giving a cocky smile, bringing the boy to eye level.

Danny paused as he tried to get of the jock's grip. He felt embarrassed after being praised for his strength, the boy hated to be in this humiliating position in front of Mandie.

"Not what I wanted her to see..."He thought as the jock reading his fist, making it clear that he's not done messing with him.

Mandie felt her blood boiling higher than anything before. She was angry at Dash, but also confused as to why Danny didn't fight back. He was more powerful than her, that was made clear, but this brute was pushing him around like he thought he was some kind of king.

Still, she remembered her promise to Danny and decided to TRY and resolve things as peacefully and non-violent as she can be...for now.

"Excuse me but would mind putting down my...friend, please?..."Mandie said, trying her best not to add a threatening "or else" at the end.

"Forget about this loser, why don't try your luck with the king of Casper High instead babe..."Dash said as he tossed Danny to a nearby trash bin, angering her even more.

"Danny!..."Mandie said, surprised that someone had the nerve to try and hurt her beloved in front of her.

She then glared at the empty headed blonde brute. The quarterback closed the gap between them quickly, wrapping an arm around her only to miss as she walked over to Danny.

"Leave now!..."She said as she helped Danny out of the trash bin first, while the jock stared bewilderingly.

"Hey!? What the heck is wrong with you?..."Dash said, getting on her nerves more.

"I said GET LOST, you dimwitted, blonde fool! Or do you want me to start actually trying to hurt you?!..."Mandie snapped while Dash just thought she looked cute angry and he made the wrong move yet again.

"Ooh, you're probably one of those feisty girls aren't you? I can be into that..."Dash said obnoxiously, getting on her nerves even more.

"This imbecile must have a death wish, one that I would gladly grant. If only I remembered to bring my lucky mace..."Mandie thought as her eyes flashed red and her fangs got bare, not that the jock could see it.

Danny did and he immediately got worried for multiple reasons.

"Mandie, remember what you promised..."He whispered to her, reminding her to harm any humans...no matter how much trouble they are.

But Mandie couldn't help but dish out what she considers the minimal effort of harm to this idiot, especially since Dash was pretty much asking for it right now.

"Come on babe, drop him for a king..."He said, wiggling his eyebrows.

That was the last straw for Mandie, who felt her VERY LIMITED patience leave.

"Okay…I can't hurt him, but I'm sure restraining him works..."She thought, now relying on Boudacian instinct.

So, she grabbed his wrist quickly to the jock's misunderstanding.

"Well now, it seems you know wh—AAAT?!…"Dash suddenly screamed, alerting everyone to him squealing in pain.

"I do not enjoy your pitiful attempts at attracting me." She snarled.

Dash screamed as the girl's grip constricted his wrist tighter than a snake. He pulled in attempt to get out, but his efforts were in vain.

"Ow!Ow!Ow!Ow! Please stop!…"the boy finally whined, almost to the point of tears.

"I don't think so!..." She said as she had enough.

Mandie gripped Dash's wrist, bending it backwards as the boy cried in pain.

"What are you- AHHHHHHHH!..."Dash yelled in pain as she gripped it even tighter.

"It seems that you can't take a hint, so let me make it easier for you to understand me..."She said in a menacing way. "Listen close, because I will not say it twice...Danny and I are having a great time together and you will NOT be any part of it nor will you get in our way. Now go away or else I'll snap this off, roast it on an open fire with tasty herbs, and feed it to you!.."She threatened, glaring dangerously at him and nearly making him cry.

Mandie then let go and Dash yelled as he cradled his arm, looking at her like she was a monster. In a way, she was, but he didn't know that.

"You psychopath! I won't forget this!..."Dash yelled in pain and anger.

"Good, because only cowards and weaklings remember their own pathetic defeat!..."Mandie said, snapping.

She then extended her hand as Dash attempted to save face. But the girl took him by the collar before he could do anything.

"This is to make sure you remember…"Mandie added.

"Hey, what are you-..."The jock said before he was cut off.

"I don't appreciate the weak attacking those that are well beyond their reach!..."Mandie said before reeling her fist back.

One swift punch and Dash soon found himself against the wall. He slumped to the floor like a rag doll. The other jocks picked him up as they looked at Mandie in fear.

"Hmmm…they remind me of there girls back home…I guess you can groupies anywhere…" Mandie thought again. "Nah…they look like mindless minions…"She thought.

One of the boys glared at her, but the girl replied with the meanest eye he'd ever see. That was all it took for him to turn yellow.

"Leave now before I forget a promise I made not to go too far..."Mandie threatened, glaring hatefully.

The other jocks gulped very audibly, as each and every one of them turned tail as fast as they could.

"Let's get out of here! She's crazy!..."A jock said, dragging Dash as they run away with their tails between their legs

As the boys took Dash away, Mandie glared at them while the people who witnessed the whole thing and it was obvious that gossip would soon spread. Already, every kid present was talking about what just transpired. They murmured within their groups about the hot girl who beat up the quarterback like it was nothing, making absurd assumptions to the reason why.

But these reasons didn't mean anything to Mandie. She just wanted to be alone with Danny and continue their outing together. She was also glad that nuisance was gone too.

Mandie smirked, pleased to have managed to get rid of that blonde pest. Though soon that slowly changed to a look of worry, as it also reminded her of the rules she agreed to and turned to Danny with a apologetic look.

She didn't even see his expression yet, she just started apologizing for violating her part of their agreement.

"I'm sorry about that but—..."She started but was cut off.

"Sorry about what? That was awesome!…"Danny cried.

"What?..."Mandie said softly, staring at the ghost boy.

"You're...not mad?..."She questioned.

"For taking down Dash? No way! He deserved it!..."Danny replied, looking excited of all things now. "I mean...I am glad that you didn't maim him or do any serious damage to him but even I have to admit that was unforgettable..."He said, not having in it to chastise her without feeling like a hypocrite.

The ghost boy stared in awe. And while he knew there would be a talk after this later, and then some, for now, he was just happy that their cover wasn't blown and that for once, his hated bully finally got hit with some proper karma like he deserves.

Not to mention that Mandie actually stood up for him as Danny Fenton...which was kinda uplifting.

"I gotta admit, that was kinda hot..."He thought, before realizing what he just thought and about whom.

That made Danny wonder if he was turning into his father, but he didn't really care at the moment.

"That was…beyond words, if you ask me…"Danny said.

The alien girl was feeling her heart fluttering in her chest as he praised her.

Mandie blushed as she saw the look on Danny's face. It was one of admiration and joy. It made her heart beat faster as her blush deepened.

Danny looked around as he noticed people were starting to gossip. He grab the girl's arm and walked her away.

"I…think it's time we found a more private place to talk…"Danny said as he pulled Mandie along.

Mandie didn't complain, excited the boy was taking charge as they journeyed to somewhere more secluded where they can be alone with no interruptions.

They had to talk about a few things.

A few moments later

Danny took Mandie to an alley, where only those wanting to get away from everything stayed. Right now the place was empty, which was just how the ghost boy wanted it.

"So Darling, why did you bring me here? Did something wrong happen that you need to speak to me about?..."Mandie asked before smirking mischievously. "Or perhaps you are finally overcome with your passion for me that you wish to express it to me in private?..."Mandie asked in a half flirtatious/half joking manner...though secretly wishing it's the latter.

Danny just sent her a serious look, not amused.

"Knock it off, Mandie. We need to talk and I don't want anyone overhearing us..."He said.

Mandie dropped her smile and sent him a confused look.

"What's wrong? A few minutes ago, you were admiring me for taking care of that blonde fool who had the nerve to interrupt our quality time together..."Mandie pointed out.

Danny sighed.

"I know but that's also kind of the problem..."He said, having now snapped out of whatever daze he had been in earlier.

Yes, he was happy that Mandie took Dash down a peg...but he also didn't want her to get the wrong idea and think that hurting people he doesn't like is okay...even if they might have it coming. And Dash always had it coming but that's besides the point. He knew that manhandling him was wrong and it'll only cause more trouble later down the line.

"You had to have known that what you just did earlier was a little excessive...and you kinda, technically broke your promise...even if it was kind of awesome and hilarious..."Danny said, like it was obvious, only to realize that he just contradicted himself.

"I mean, yeah, Dash kinda deserves it and yeah, you didn't do TOO much damage, you just hurt his pride more than anything but I mean, that still doesn't mean that it's alright to do that sorta thing. You didn't have to go that far..."He said, doing his best to properly explain things.

Mandie looked lost and confused, as if she didn't fully understand what the ghost was trying to spell out to her. She remained for a second as she tried to understand.

"I'm sorry, I'm confused. Are you angry with me or not?..."She asked.

"No, I'm not...but as much as that was awesome, that isn't how you should have done things..."He said, even if he did enjoy Dash getting such karma.

"Do you mean that I should have kept true to do actual bodily harm to that fool?..."She asked, as she tilted her head a bit.

Danny's eyes widened and he immediately shook his head. It became obvious he had to word things carefully, while still a little blunt, or things might get messier.

"No! I meant for you to not do any bodily harm to anyone in the first place!..."The ghost boy said, surprising and confusing the princess even more.

"But you said-..."She tried but the ghost boy cut her off.

"I know...and a part of me meant all of that but I also just remembered that he is still a person and we need to not go too far, as well as keep our secret from the public, which means no extremes actions..."He said.

"And that means?..."Mandie drew out the last word with an inquisitive eye.

"It means there are somethings done so in a way to avoid trouble..."The ghost boy said in a serious tone.

"Look, I know that Dash is a jerk. He's rude, mean, stupid, crude, obnoxious, gets lousy grades, picks on other kids, likely won't make anything out of himself after he graduates and pretty much a waste of-..."Danny trailed off until he noticed Mandie's staring. "Uh, I lost my point...what I am trying to say is that he's not worth it..."He said.

The alien princess looked more lost than even, especially since her beloved just admitted that oaf has basically no seemingly qualities and there is no personal benefit in letting him live.

"I just don't understand, you are way more powerful than that blonde fool and had defeated foes with such ease. You could have easily tore him apart if you felt like it and yet you were held at his mercy..."Mandie said, looking confused and even angry.

Danny sighed and knew that this is gonna be a long explanation.

"Its complicated. Mainly because I don't want to be the bad guy..."He said.

"What are you talking about?..."Mandie asked with a raised brow.

"First of all, I keep my powers a secret, for my own reasons. Second, using them to hurt Dash constantly, while would feel REALLY GOOD…"Danny paused after shivering in delight. "It wouldn't help me at all. Besides, he's more annoying than a threat…"He said.

The alien princess just stood there silently, like she was still trying to process what he just said.

"So...you didn't accept the blonde oaf's challenge out of...a sense of honor?..."Mandie tilted her head as she tried to wrap around the encounter with Dash.

"Sorta like that..."Danny made a circle with his fingers as he tried to explain.

"More like, I can hit Dash with my powers, but it's not the right thing to do because good guys don't use their powers like that..even if some people deserve it or if they'll keep on bugging you. It's not right to use your powers on them, especially if they themselves don't have powers to defend themselves from my attacks..."He said, having accepted that a long time ago.

Mandie furled her eyebrows as she stared at the ghost boy. Whatever sense of honor he was talking about did not make sense. If anything, she was infuriated.

"Are you kidding me?!..."She snapped, stomping the ground with enough force to leave a crack.

"Uh, Mandie...I think you might want to cool down before your hair—..."Danny said but the alien princess wasn't having his talk of peace right now.

"I will not cool down! You need to understand something. So you let that stupid weakling continue to attack you, yet don't show him your strength out of the idea it's the better way? You CANNOT be serious!..."Mandie stood tall, looking down on the ghost boy with sparks in her hair.

She brought a fist up, clenching it hard.

"Man…die?…"Danny stared, not threatened or concerned by her attitude now.

"NEVER SHOW WEAKNESS TO THOSE WHO ARE UNWORTHY OF WITNESSING IT! ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO ARE BENEATH YOU! You need to show the weak and pathetic just how beneath you they are so they won't constantly attempt to take away what is rightfully yours!..."She said, sounding prideful.

To others, it seemed like Mandie was making threats, yet the ghost boy saw more. He had been around the girl long enough to realize the concern under her Boudacian wisdom and blinked.

"Wait? Are you worried about me?..."Danny asked, almost laughing right now.

Mandie dropped her glare for a moment and blushed a bit. She turned away from him, still blushing and cleared her throat before simmering. Trying her best to regain her Boudican warrior bravado.

"I...I'm just saying that...you're better than that oaf and you need to show him that. Other wise, all you're doing is giving him a false sense of strength and on Boudica, that's one of the worst things you can do..."She said, dusting herself off as she took out a compact mirror to inspect her disguise.

"You need to show others that you are not afraid to fight back and stand above them or you will never be given the respect you deserve or be rid of pests who annoy you...and trust me when I say that I speak from personal experience..."She said, trying to sound serious. "It's just common sense..."She said, sounding stern and for once, not trying to seduce him.

Danny couldn't help but smile a little, feeling something like touched by her rant of wisdom and her unique way of showing concern for his well-being. even if she tries to hide it behind all this "warrior talk".

Either way, it's certainly a welcomed changed of pace compared to when they first met. Especially since she sounds like she's being sincere.

"It's weird but I think she's actually making sense..."He thought, happy to see this side of her.

Though part of the ghost boy wondered about the Boudacian wisdom, but that was for another time.

"Tell you what, next time Dash bothers me, I'll just use a little ghostly edge to end things but ONLY if I need to and I have no other choice. Okay?..."Danny said, hoping this would calm her down and show her that he'll be fine.

Mandie considered it and nodded.

"Alright, but next time I see him and he doesn't back off, we're browsing for weapons..."Mandie said, still trying to look serious while on the inside, she was ecstatic to have more time with him.

"I wonder if he'll have the need for a weapon similar to my flaming sword? Ooh, that could be a wonderful idea for a much more personal gift to him in the near future..."She thought to herself, staring at the boy.

But she put her thoughts away as she smiled, since they were technically alone again and they still have a whole afternoon to spend together.

"So, what shall we do now? We do still have a few hours to spend together before our parents expect us home and I'm still very willing to continue our outing…"Mandie commented.

Danny chuckled as an idea came to mind. He turned to the alien girl and gave her a grin, he knew exactly where to head to next

"Tell you what. How about we go to where all Earth teens hang out: the mall?..."Danny said as he transformed and offered a hand to Mandie.

The girl blushed, staring blankly as she grabbed it.

"Sure, lead the way..."She said as the boy pulled her in and grabbed her by the waist as they flew over.

Mandie blushed deeper as she felt the boy's body earth before take off. Her face didn't return to normal till after the flight. Which didn't last as long as she wanted but still cherished every second.

A few moments later

The flight to the mall was more romantic than anything Mandie knew. While it wasn't the ghost boy's intention, the girl looked down as she saw the town from above. But she spent most of the time staring at Danny, whose face glowed in the sunlight.

"Wow~..."Mandie whispered, feeling her heart race and her face turn red.

Danny didn't notice as he pointed to the mall, lowering themselves on arrival. He took them near a secluded area and transformed before guiding her the into the building.

While Amity Park's mall wasn't the most luxurious place on earth, being an average mall, but it was quite the sight for Mandie. The girl looked around at the many brand named stores.

Mandie looked around, fascinated.

"This is like the bazaars and satellites I see during my travels…"She said as she walked to the Abyss store, staring at the many outfits on display and raised a brow at them.

"Although, usually they display better armor than this. It looks so frail…"She criticized.

"That's not armor…"Danny said, walking with two cones of ice cream. "Earth is different from outfitter space. Though, one of these days, you have to take me up there. Provided you don't try to make me marry you again…"He said, half joking/ half serious right now.

"We'll see about that..."Mandie said as she eyed the line of clothing with interest, happy her beloved didn't hear that.

The ghost boy held one of the cones to Mandie, who looked at it questioningly.

"Try this…"Danny gave her the cone.

"What's this?..."Mandie asked.

"Ice cream. A popular treat on earth..."Danny said.

"It's cold..."Mandie said as he eyed it.

"It's suppose to be cold. Trust me, it's better this way..."Danny said as he took a bite of his own.

Mandie quickly pulled out her scanner and like the last time, this food isn't bad for her. Still, she was curious about it.

"You better eat up before it melts..."Danny advice, taking another bite of his own.

Mandie stared at the ice cream, sniffing it for a moment before taking a lick. The moment the delicious sweetness touched her tongue, the girl swore she could see happiness and rainbows.

"Soooooo...gooooood..."The alien girl said, like she's tasted the most scrumptious thing in the universe.

In one giant bite, only the bottom half of the cone remained as Mandie cooed in innocent joy.

"Mmm... that was even better than the cotton candy from the carnival..."Mandie said, savoring the taste.

Danny just stared at her, blinking a few times before chuckling a bit at what she did and said.

"I haven't seen anyone eat ice cream like that since my dad went to the fudge festival..."He commented while the alien girl used a napkin and wiped her lips.

"That was delightful. A true meal for the spoils of war..."Mandie said, absentmindedly commenting before coming back to reality. "Though, I wouldn't mind skipping the battle and moving straight to this again…"She said, having enjoyed it.

Danny chuckled at that before he continued to eat his own ice cream, albeit, at a slower pace.

Later

After eating the ice cream, Danny and Mandie walked around the mall and chatted, enjoying their time together like nothing bad happened earlier.

They passed by more stores and Mandie saw more clothes on display and was still curious about it. She started asking the ghost boy questions about it.

"So…this is all part of fashion. Not battle armor?…"Mandie glanced at the store, seeing the outfits on display.

"Boudacians usually wear formal clothes for festivals or special occasions, but the rest of the time, we stick to armor, since an enemy can attack at a moment's notice. Not to mention, the only other times we wear festive clothes are for occasions when he have to honor our ancestors who fought and conquer worlds..."She said as she eyed the clothes. "Still, this seems less that understandable females wish to wear these since some of these don't seem so practical..."She commented as she eyed one outfit and seemed pretty uncomfortable looking.

"Yeah. I don't it either, but most teens like to dress in the latest fashion…"Danny awkwardly explained, wishing he knew more.

Mandie looked at him and then the clothes and then pondered a bit. However, something caught her eye.

She saw an earth woman walk out of the store, wearing a dress and all of a sudden, several earth men approached her, trying to get her attention as she walked away with a satisfied look on her face.

That caught Mandie's attention more than anything.

"So, THAT'S why earth females wear these kinds of clothes...to attract males..."She thought, as the gears in her head started turning.

"Hmmm...I wonder..."She thought, then smirked a bit at the idea that's sprung inside her head.

She has already tried dressing up in her best clothes on her last encounter...but maybe this planet's fashion could do something differently.

It was worth a try as far as she is concern.

"I want to try these clothes out..."Mandie said suddenly.

"You do?..."Danny asked and the alien girl nodded.

"Yes, I wanna see what these items are all about and I wanna see how I'd look in them..."She said, while the ghost boy nodded.

"Well, you can try them on but I don't think I have enough money to pay for them..."Danny pointed out.

Don't worry, I just wanna try them on. If I want one, I'll come back with earth money the next time that I am here if we can't afford it now..."Mandie reassured him.

They went into the store together and Mandie looked around, eyeing the earth clothes with a critical eye, unsure where to start with.

She was discerning which would compliment and accentuate her beauty. As well as gain her beloved's attention.

"Now...which one should I start with first?..."She thought as she examined some of them.

This felt felt vaguely similar to her previous times preparing to face Danny and spent hours choosing the right equipment and weaponry to best defeat him or win his interest. But here, she's just trying to do the latter solely.

"If I'm right, the perfect one of these...dresses should help me win the heart of my darling... or at the very least, gain some more favorable attention from him. The only question is, which one?..."She mused, trying to find the right outfit.

As they walked through, a few store employees stared at the girl, with some wondering what was going on with the pretty customer and the average looking guy with her but neither the ghost boy to alien girl took the time to notice as racks of clothing were raided for anything remotely similar to Mandie's tastes.

Or rather, the alien girl did as Danny had no clue about shopping clothes for girls, he just had a feeling that he might have to worry and just wanted to make sure that Mandie didn't get into any fights again.

"Found something you like yet?..."Danny asked.

"No, not yet at least..."Mandie said before something caught her eye.

She smirked and immediately reached for it, liking the feel in his hands as she examined it more, liking more of what she sees.

"Scratch that, I think I just did..."She said, as she checked to see if it was the right size for her and to her joy, it was.

Mandie then took the clothes she picked and went to a nearby changing room, while Danny waited and was curious on what she chose to try on first, though he was glad that she seemed to be enjoying normal earth teen culture so far.

"At least she's trying new things that DON'T involve taking over the planet or hurt anyone around us..."He thought as he took a seat nearby and waited for her to be done.

He didn't know the surprise waiting as the girl tried on various outfits.

A few moments later

Mandie was still in the changing room, trying out the clothes that she had selected. She was also being careful that she was trying on the outfit the right way, which she was.

She had little Earth money and did not want to put Danny in financial danger by damaging the dress that she possibly couldn't afford.

With a smile, after a few attempts, Mandie readied herself with one last look in the changing room mirror.

"Oh, this will definitely gain my soon to be future groom's attention. In fact, I doubt that he'll take his eyes off me once he sees me in this..."She thought, smirking.

Mandie quickly practiced a few poses in the mirror, while Danny was still waiting, already bored and impatient.

"Do girls usually take this long to get dressed?..."He thought, since this is kinda new to him and Sam never asks him to go shopping with her, neither does Jazz.

His waiting soon ended as his alien friend called out.

"How does this look, Danny?..."Mandie's voice was heard.

Mandie opened the curtain as Danny and the other patrons stared. She was dressed in a simple blue dress with a low neck line that covered her arms and stopped at her knees. The top hugged her and the bottom flowed freely, showing her athletic physique.

The girl noticed the ghost boy staring with he others and decided to have some fun, and attempt to draw the boy closer to her goals.

"Do you like it?…"Mandie posed with her hands behind her head and with a smile that screamed confidence.

Danny's jaw had been dropping and he was blushing, before he snapped out of it and tried to look unaffected by the girl's looks as he answered her, trying to summon up his thoughts into words.

"Uh...well, it suits you quite nice..."He said, not making eye contact with her.

Mandie smirked at that reaction, confident that he at least finds her beautiful, even in this form.

"I wonder how'd he react to me wearing this in my real form..."She thought, making plans for a later date.

For now, it was obvious this dress would be necessary for her plans. So, she brought it over and had the clerk hold onto the dress.

Mandie gave a sly glance at Danny, making him gulped nervously with a blush.

"Danny, would it be too forward of me to ask we could purchase this dress as a memento of our time together? Please?..."She asked, using in a sweet voice as she made puppy eyes too

"Uh, I dunno...might be too much..."Danny stammered, still a little affected by how she looked in it but snapping out of it.

"Please, I promise that I will pay you back. I just...really would like to own this dress..."Mandie said, continuing that look.

Thankfully, the dress was on sale and with some...convincing, Mandie managed to convince Danny to lend her the money to pay for it. To which the ghost boy didn't put up much of an argument against it.

"Fine..." He said as he lent her the money, much to the alien girl's joy.

"Thank you, Danny. And don't worry, I promise to paid you back for this as soon as I am able to..."Mandie said, pleased with her purchase before hugging the ghost boy.

"Uh, you're welcome..."Danny said, rubbing the back of his head and wondered if it was wise of him to buy that particular dress for her.

"Why do I get the feeling that this isn't going to be the last time she's gonna wear that thing in front of me?..."He thought as the alien girl smile at him.

Still, he smiled back and was just glad that she was behaving herself...in her own way.

"Wonderful..."Mandie thought, happy.

The alien girl smirked, already making future plan for this dress in her mind with Danny.

"I'll make sure to offer up my gratitude to you for this soon..."She said, happy and grateful to her beloved for his generosity. "I might let you name our first born..."She thought but kept that to herself for now.

She was adamant on keeping her word from that promise she just made. Especially since she was wearing him down, she was sure of it.

The girl had successfully completed a step towards the boy's heart, she just knew it.

The next few steps were going to be crucial and she knew that she had to make things work fast but she also knew that she had to be patient and keep taking things one step at a time in her quest to earn his love.

Still, as they left the store together, Mandie felt more confident about her chances.
