Phantom vs Aliens: Hot Ectoplasma!

Chapter 68: Heroes Held Captive: Mandie vs Fairy Court

"Mrrrr..." Danny let out, as he stirred awake and slowly opens his eyes.

His eyes flickered as he slowly regained consciousness.

"Uhh...what happened?..." He said, as he tried to get his focus and check his surroundings.

He then noticed that he was chained up and sighed.

"Well, isn't this new and unusual..." He said sarcastically as he tried to phase out.

No luck, he was still restrained by these chains with strange tiny symbols on them which were familiar to him. The ghost kid had chains on each wrist, which he couldn't phase himself out of.

"Oh man, ghost proof. How did...whoever kidnapped me this time...even manage to make ghost-proof chains, which looks just like the ones Mandie made, to begin with?..." Danny said as he tried to figure out where he is before thinking up an escape plan.

However, someone arrived to further sour his already bitter mood.

"Oh, I see your up..." An arrogant voice was heard.

Danny looked up and glared when he saw it was Brutis and next to him it was a Boudacian woman with green hair who wasn't as pretty as Mandie.

"I should've guessed that this latest kidnapping would be your doing, Bruty..." Danny snarked.

Brutis looked annoyed.

"Do NOT call me that?!..."He yelled, briefly losing his composure before regain his cool.

The boudacian woman approached the chained up Danny, but as she got a closer look at the ghost boy, she didn't seem all too impressed with what she saw in front of her.

"Pfft..this is him?..."The alien woman scoffed.

"I am afraid so, Dieana..."Brutis said, frowning.

"I can't believe the princess would choose this gloarksmen pup over a man like you, Brutis darling..." Dieana said, not impressed.

"The feeling is mutual, but don't underestimate him. As much as it pains me to said, but this one is tricky and slippery...for an inferior creature..." Brutis said, hating to admit the ghost boy's skills in battle.

"Who is she suppose to be? Your new girlfriend?..." Danny asked.

Brutis was about reply his answer, but Dieana beat him too it.

"I am Dieana Armoroana! FORMER hand maiden to that bratty princess who I no longer serve!..." Dieana said, speaking for herself.

While Brutis look annoyed at being cut off by Dieana, Danny looked a little surprised that Mandie's now ex-hand maiden chose to betray her.

"Wait...did Mandie mention her before? Dieana does sound familiar...focus Fenton, one issue to solve at a time..." Danny thought to himself.

He had no clue from where he knew Dieana's. Brutis frowned, irritated at bring interrupted but she kept talking.

"I serve Brutis now. Someone more deserving of my loyalty..." Dieana said in a smug way.

The ghost boy raised an eyebrow with a surprised and confused expression.

It was like she wanted Brutis for herself.

He wanted to point out how he only had eyes for Mandie, but he didn't get the chance as the alien general spoke now

"Dieana, go secure the battle formations at the front line. Make sure all of Empire's warriors and droids are fully prepared for the invasion...and to secure my coronation..."Brutis ordered.

"Right away, darling..." Dieana said, giggling at him calling her by name.

Once Dieana hurried to do as her beloved ordered, Danny and Brutis seemingly had the room to themselves.

All the better for the wannabe ruler to try and intimidate his enemy. That is until the ghost boy spoke up first.

"I see that your new girlfriend is devoted to you and thinks you're the best of two worlds, but I'd be lying if I said that I'm not wary of what's hiding beneath that. No judgment on your taste in women though, but at least she seems like more your type than Mandie..." Danny said, while the alien man scoffed.

"Don't insult me, there is only ONE woman in the entire universe who is worthy of me. My bride whom I shall be marrying tonight so long as everything goes as planned..." Brutis said, sounding smug.

Danny knew who he is talking about and got angry.

"Where is Mandie?! What have you done with her?!..."The ghost boy demanded.

"Nothing. My dear bride is still off world and we have yet to locate her current whereabouts. But even the likes of Princess Mandie can only stay away from the Boudacian empire for so long. It just a matter of time before she has to return home..."Brutis said, looking smug and confident that his plan will succeed this time around.

Danny tried to phase out of his chains again and attempted to punch the shallow Boudacian noble, but couldn't since the space chains still kept him grounded.

"Don't even bother. My spies discovered these little trinkets among Mandie's arsenal. I thought they would be useful in restraining you and help remind you of my superiority over you..." Brutis said, enjoying the fact that he had the ghost boy right where he wants him and is unable to fight back.

"You stole from Mandie and are using her gadgets to do your dirty work! Dude, that's just sad..." Danny said, getting under his enemy's skin.

"SILENCE! You will NOT dare speak in the tone against Boudacia's new king! Once I am rightfully crowned the king of the entire empire, I shall begin my reign and soon will rule this new universe and my old one, with Mandie by my side as my queen!..."Brutis said, clouded by his own desperate desires and delusions of power.

The ghost kid was enraged, continuing to test the durability of these space chains holding him back from delivering a punch to the face towards the wannabe king.

"Dude, are you completely blind?! Mandie totally HATES you and you know that she'd sooner kill you than agree to marry you!..." Danny yelled.

"She won't have a choice. Since I have A trump card to persuade her...make that two..." Brutis said sadistically.

Danny didn't like the sound of that.

"WHAT DID YOU DO?!..." He demanded.

"Oh, just...picked up a few bargaining chips. You being the third one and the other two...well, it'd be more satisfying if I simply showed you instead..." Brutis said, as he took out a small remote from his belt and pressed one of the few buttons on it.

This signaled a few robots to deliver the ghost boy into his new (and presumably permanent) living quarters.

"LET ME GO!..."Danny demanded, as he struggled but the chains kept him like that.

"Do not worry, I won't kill you or Mandie's parents...at least not yet. I need them to convince Mandie that marrying me is the best choice she has..."Brutis said, shocking the ghost boy with this reveal.

"Mandie's Parents?! You creep! What did you do to them?!..." Danny shouted, wishing he could kick his butt right now.

"As I said, they are alive for now. Which is more than what is can promise for that pitiful little mud all you call home..." Brutis said, while the ghost boy struggled more.

"What?!..." Danny shouted.

"Well, every coronation needs fire works...and I think getting rid of that eyesore of a planet will be a nice way to celebrate my marriage..." Brutis said, a deranged sadistic smirk on his face.

"LET ME GO, YOU LUNATIC!..." Danny shouted, while the alien laughed.

"Oh, don't worry. In the cell your going to be in, I placed a few viewing screens so you and your little cell mate will be able to watch my wedding to Mandie and not miss a single glorious moment of my climb to power..." Brutis mocked, began laughing maniacally while walking away.

The ghost boy wondered what that meant.

"Cell mate?!..." Danny asked.

Before the ghost boy could get an answer, a couple of Boudacian bots dragged Danny towards his designated prison cell. The only cell with dim lighting that kept flickering on and off.

Danny was soon tossed in a cell and as the robot activated the bars and locked him in, which inadferently caused the dim lights to spark out.

"Dorkus, you won't get away with this!..." Danny yelled, his voice echoing throughout the halls with seemingly no one to answer back.

"Who is that?!..." Was heard.

Danny turned his head and soon saw a werewolf like alien also chained up, while looking exhausted and injured too.

"Huh?..." Danny went, while the alien seemed to recognize him.

"YOU?!..."The alien went, looking surprised and even peeved too.

"Uh...do we know each other?..." Danny asked, clueless while the alien frowned.

"Unfortunately I do know of you, Earth-dweller! After all, you apparently have been courting my daughter, of which I am still haven't given my approval!..." He said, sounding ticked.

Danny blinked, as he blankly processed what he just heard from the alien werewolf.

"Daughter?! Wait?! YOU'RE MANDIE'S DAD?!..." Danny exclaimed, completely shocked that he is just now meeting with the king of another planet and the father of his girlfriend.

Not to mention, that the place where they're having their first ever face to face meeting is inside a jail cell.

"Not how I expected meeting one of my girlfriends parents..." Danny thought, as he began to worry of how Mandie might be fairing right now.

Meanwhile

With Mandie

The alien princess was in trouble now.

Mandie was now facing against a large, muscular fairy who looked angry. And looks weren't deceiving this time as he started yelling again.

"TURNER! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! EXPLAIN!..." A very muscular fairy shouted in Turner's face.

"Uh... okay?..." Timmy asked, but unfortunately didn't the chance to explain anything, since the giant fairy wasn't done yelling yet.

"BUT FIRST!..."Jorgen shouted, activating his magic by slamming his giant wand on the ground like a sledge hammer.

Before Turner could finish making the case or objections, there was a loud explosive poof and all of them were teleported before a group of robed figures.

"What?! Why are we in Fairy court?..." Timmy asked.

"You tell me! You're the one with actual fairies..." Mandie said, now agitated.

Jorgen then approached Timmy, looking down with much anger and disapproval.

"This is serious! You brought back the princess of the Boudacians to this universe and undid all of our hard work! Anyone being transported back and forth between universes could cause unknown consequences into the multiverse!..."Jorgen accused, with a very serious expression on the giant fairy's face

"Hey, I had nothing to do with her being here! And I'd NEVER wish a crazy alien who tried to destroy me back here!..." Timmy said, pointing to Mandie.

"No offense..." He quickly added.

"None taken..." Mandie said, since it did happen.

"Then WHY is it she's found next to you?..." Jorgen asked this, glaring at him.

"Jorgen, Timmy really had nothing to do with Mandie being here. In fact, he was going to wish her back to where she came from before you showed up..." Wanda explained.

"A likely story..."Jorgen scoffed.

"Why the sarcasm?..." Timmy asked, not seeing why this is a problem.

"With how many times your wishing has nearly destroyed the world, it's only luck you're still allowed to have any! Heck, you wishing for an alien for your and your friends to play with is how the Yugopotamians even started to try destroying the earth!..." Jorgen pointed out.

"Wait, that's how that happened?..." Mandie asked, surprised to learn this.

From what her parents had told her, Mark had been "kidnapped" and the king and queen had been so terrified of Turner and how great he was that they wanted an alliance to destroy the earth in the first place.

"Hey, I never said I wanted a REAL alien to play with, and its not my fault that Cosmo and Wanda take things too literally!..." Timmy insisted.

"Hey!..." Both fairies shouted.

"Sorry, but it's true that you guys take things too literal sometimes! Like the time I wished for a shrinking suit, you made it only shrink and nothing else!..." Timmy reminded.

"Well, maybe you should be clearer with your wishes..." Cosmo said.

"Like "a suit that changes my size whenever I want" or something like that..." Wanda said.

"You guys should have known I'd eventually wanna be big again!..." Timmy insisted. "Not to mention the time I wished us to visit the Middle Ages, you guys brought by parents along!..." He reminded.

"Again, you wished for ALL of us to go there. Did the phrase "Be careful what you wish for", ever cross your mind sport?..." Wanda pointed out.

"Oh come on! When do I EVER include my parents on our adventures?..." Timmy asked, only for Jorgen to break it up by slamming his wand to the ground.

"Enough! This just proves my point. All this time and you still haven't learned that thinking could solve more than 95% of the problems your wishes cause and this time you have gone too far!..." Jorgen accused.

"Oh, come on! Not EVERYTHING was my fault! Like the Pixies taking over fairy world TWICE wasn't my fault! You being dumped by the Tooth fairy for trying to take my baby teeth wasn't my fault! Dr. Bender stealing Chip Skylark's teeth wasn't my fault! Norm the genie wasn't my fault! You guys relying on Crocker to be your ONLY power source and fairy world almost falling into "Giant bucket of acid world" wasn't my fault and it was a REALLY stupid move on your part! The darkness DEFINITELY wasn't my fault and Mark and Mandie's people were ALREADY conquerors before they even met me!..." Timmy insisted, making some fairly good points on his part.

"He's got a point..." Mandie said in Turners defense. "Also, I'm trying to fix that..." She quickly added.

"Yeah, and to be fair, my parents had already been thinking of attacking earth before Turner wished for me. If anything, they only stopped because we became friends and he helped save our planet a bunch of times..." Mark pointed out, feeling the need to clarify.

Jorgen and the fairy council quietly discussed amongst themselves before responding.

"Fine. Maybe those weren't your fault, but a lot of things were..." Jorgen insisted.

"Let us remind you that we have kept a very strict record of all your wishes that you made over the years..." Another council member said.

"In fact, the list is even longer than the last time you were here...and we, the Fairy council are considering whether or not to take your fairy god parents since Mandie's present has brought a great risk of unknown dangers into over universe..." He said.

Timmy and his fairies looked terrified, while Mandie was confused on what kind of unknown dangers her presence could bring.

"NO!..." Timmy begged.

"Are you serious?!..." She exclaimed.

"We are..." One council member said, shocking the princess.

Sure, she is from a warmongering race but even she couldn't do anything large scale to the universe all by herself!

She was only a danger on her own due to the fact they weren't used to her, but now they are. She knows that she alone can't handle Fairy World, which was largely proven when she, her entire race and planet was banished into a whole different universe.

And right now, she was at their mercy.

"Dude don't you think that's a little extreme?..." Mark asked in defense of his friends.

"If you've read even a fraction of the wishes Turner has made, then you wouldn't think our less-than-friendly treatment would be so harsh..."One of the council said.

The alien princess saw that things were getting worse and tried to convince the council that she meant no harm.

"Esteemed Fairy council..." Mandie said using all of her diplomatic training bowing her head.

"I promise you that Timmy Turner had nothing to do with me being back in my home universe. In fact, he was going to help me send me back..." She said, trying to get them to see reason.

This kind and respectful act coming from Boudacian royalty caused some council members look astonished and some others even gaping a bit.

All but one, at least.

"Regardless... you are on thin ice that's cracking. Turner was going to make a wish that would have interfered with rules of time and space without authorization..." Jorgen said.

"This was not how I thought my day was going to go..." She thought approaching the council, while surprising many with her out of character behavior.

Mandie was beginning to wish that her mother was here, since her mother was far better at deal legal conflicts during major court issues with other planets. If Milee wasn't the Queen, she would've made for an excellent galactic lawyer.

Sadly, Mandie was on her own and fairing "so well" on trial.

She'll have to remember, should she get home, to ask her mother to help her be more diplomatic in these situations, but right now she is on her own.

"Wait..." Mandie tried but Jorgen hammered the floor with his big wand.

"As for YOU, since banishment clearly didn't work, looks like we need to use other methods to detain you and make sure you never cause us trouble again..." Jorgen said, as his oversized wand began to glow an ominous bright light.

Mandie audibly gulped but recollected her nerves. She had to make it clear she wasn't here by choice.

"Look, I NEVER wanted to come back to this universe! I was brought back by mistake and Turner didn't wish me here! A traitor from my planet sent me here to try and get rid of me!..." Mandie insisted.

"She's right, she practically begged me to wish her back there..." Timmy said, shocking everyone who heard this claim.

"She did?..." One of the fairy council members asked.

"That's unexpected..."

"It's particularly unheard of, especially from an Boudacian..."

"So, does this mean we don't take his fairies away?..." One asked.

"Please don't take away my fairies! I can't stand the thought of losing Cosmo, Wanda and Poof!..." Timmy cried, as he clung to his fairy family.

"We can't stand the thought of losing you either, Timmy!..." Cosmo said, crying.

"We love you!..." Wanda said tearfully.

"Timmy!..." Poof cried too.

Mandie saw her former enemies clinging to each other and crying their eyes out. For the first time in this universe, she felt true sympathy and heartbreak for whom was once her enemy.

"They really are a family..." She thought, as she had another reason, beside returning to Danny, to do what she is about to do.

She kept pleading to the council.

"Esteemed council, please don't take Timmy's fairies away from him. For what little I've seen of his life, he clearly needs them if his parents would hire that psychotic witch to watch him!..." Mandie pleaded.

"You don't know the half of it sister..."Cosmo and Wanda said in between their cries, having dealt with Vicky at her worst.

They tried to calm down a bit to try and convince the council not to separate them from their gold child.

"Yeah, I might love my Vicky but she's pretty messed up by human standards..." Mark admitted, shrugging.

"Good news, she'll probably be in jail for a while if she can't pay for all the damages she caused to the town. I was even having some popcorn while watching her being arrested..." Cosmo pointed out, even provided the half finished box of popcorn he was eating at the time.

"And Mandie saved me from her. So... maybe this other world she's been in had an effect on her? Maybe made her... not who she was..." Timmy said, trying to avoid the council taking away his fairies.

"Yes! What he said!..."Mandie went.

"Even so, we can't be certain of your claims. If you wish to return, then clearly your punishment wasn't punishing enough..." Jorgen said, being stubborn.

"IS HE FOR REAL?!..."Mandie thought, trying hard not to have het hair become flammable again.

The space warrior princess wasn't willing to give up just yet and made one more attempt to speak up and verify her innocence.

"Wait...isn't there a way to prove to you all that I was sent here against my will and that Turner had nothing to do with me being here?!..." Mandie questioned.

"If you do happen to have some from of proof of these claims, then that would drastically change the situation of this trial..." One council member said.

"Then in that case..." Mandie said as she raised her arm. "I'd like the show my proof..." She declared.

"Whatever she is up to, I hope it works..." Timmy thought desperately.

"Proceed..." The head of the fairy council said.

Mandie soon presented the remains of the device that caused her latest plight.

"What is this?..." Jorgen asked, as they eyed the device.

"It is what remains of the inter-dimensional wormhole bomb that was placed on my ship while I was on my way home. It went off and sent me back into this dimension and if not for my battle suit, I wouldn't even be alive now..."Mandie said, sounding angry as she said this

The fairies examined the remains of the device, while had curious looks as they studying the device and other had serious expressions.

"So... your arrival was... unplanned?..." One member said, realizing there might be some truth to that statement.

"But Turner brought her here!..." Jorgen shouted, pointing his big wand at the pink hat wearing boy.

"NO I DIDNT! HOW MANY TIMES I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT I DIDN'T!..."Timmy argued, as he pushed the massive wand aside.

"Actually..." Blinky went, as he floated into the court room.

"Seriously, what now?..." Jorgen snarled at his small assistant.

"We checked the files, looks like Turner really didn't make any wish for her to return here...if anything, he was about to send her BACK to where you banished her to Jorgen..." Binky said, showing the files.

Jorgen and the fairy saw this and blanched upon seeing the evidence there in black and white.

"Oh...I see you were telling the truth, Turner..." The lead council member said, looking sheepish.

"WE TOLD YOU SO!..."Timmy and the fairies said in unison, angry that they were accused like that.

This caused Jorgen and the fairy council into looking embarrassed for jumping to conclusions.

"It seems we reacted too quickly..." The head of the fairy council said, getting looks from the jury.

With that misunderstanding now made clear, Mandie made her reasons for her request known to the council as well.

"Well, if you know now this wasn't MY decision, I demand you let Turner send me home..." She said.

"No!..." Jorgen went.

"WHAT?!..." Mandie exclaimed, her hair sparked into flames now.

"If what you just said is true, then the situation is far worse than I imagined!..."Jorgen said as his face looked a bit more grim than before.

"What the heck are you talking about?!..." Mandie demanded, hating this

"We sent your race to the other universe to make sure you all CAN'T come back here and cause trouble! If someone can send you back, then that means it's not enough!..." Jorgen said, gritting his teeth in anger.

"Enough?!..." Mandie asked, raising an eyebrow out of suspension, only to quick ignore it to focus on her much more important and pressing concerns at the moment.

"We sent you there as a punishment, it doesn't work if you WANT to go back! That means we need something else to take care of you!..." Jorgen said.

"WHY?! What did I do?!..." Mandie asked, only to get looks.

"Have you forgotten that you and your parents, as well as your entice race, had been conquering and terrorising this entire universe for a very long timr, and nearly destroyed the earth? That has not been forgotten..." Jorgen reminded

"But I'm not that kind of person anymore!..." Mandie said, hating this. "You gotta believe me!..." She pleaded.

"You only managed to prove tat you were sent here by mistake and how van we be sure the whole "protecting Turner thing" wasn't just because you wanted to attack that earth girl for defeating you last time?..."Jorgen asked, not trusting her

"Jorgen does have a point, one supposed good deed isn't enough to convince us you are no longer a danger to us or this universe. And we are also wary of the true reasons you may wish to return to a place hat was suppose to be a punishment for you..." The head of the council said.

"I can't believe this!..." Mandie thought, getting desperate now

The Boudacian Princess needed to explain to the fairy council her reasons for returning back to the universe she was banished to were noble and malicious.

"Look, a traitor is on my planet...who may or may not be connected to a fool name Brutis. All I know is that my planet is in trouble and may be sent to an unjustified and dishonorable war against the Earth of that universe!..." Mandie said, hoping that the fairly council will show some compassion.

"As we speak, that same traitor might be trying to usurp the throne from my father. And I am now really considering that it might actually be... Brutis..." She said, feeling angry for uttering his name.

"Why would he be trying to steal your kingdom?..." Timmy asked, not getting it.

"First, it's an planetary empire. Not a measley kingdom..." Mandie corrected.

"Noted..." Turner quickly responded.

"Second, it's because Brutis is a weasely coward that would use underhanded tricks to get his way than do so through Boudacian honor! Wimp..." Mandie answered.

She then took time to catch a breath, not wanting to flare up.

"He'd do anything to usurp the throne and to make me marry him..." She added.

"Why would he want to do that if he wanted to marry you?..." Timmy asked, still not getting it.

"Because he wants to eliminate my boyfriend so that I'll have no choice but to marry him..." Mandie said.

"Huh?..."

"Boudacian men earn the right to propose to their potential wife after winning an honor While Brutis lost for the hundredth time and I mocked him for it, saying he couldn't do something that you've done easily beat me in a fight. I even went as far as to saying he couldn't do something that you've done easily before. Which was beating me in a somewhat fight or at least offering me a challenge..." Mandie said sheepishly as she explained the traditional methods of royal combat engagement.

Everyone who heard her were a bit speechless at the moment.

"But what about Mark?..." Timmy asked, confused now

"That was an arranged marriage, its not the same..." Mark said.

"And for the record, I am not counting my marriage and divorce from Mark Chang. That was done all out of strategic adventures. No offense..." She said.

"None taken. Or as the humans say, water under the bridge..." Mark replied.

"Good to know, I suppose..." She said, feeling somewhat relieved.

"So, that means you could've married anyone else?..." Timmy asked, looking annoyed now.

"One of the reasons I wanted to marry Mark at the time was the AVOID being married to that fool..." Mandie explained.

"Sounds like you could've told us that instead of cause us trouble..." Timmy said.

"Sorry. It's not like I cared at the time..." Mandie said nervously before looking back to the council.

"I knew you were tough, but even I didn't you beat someone in a fight a hundred times..."Timmy said, unsure if he was impressed or frightened of her.

"Sounds about right to me..."Mark said, not that surprised to hear that his ex-wife defeated an opponent that many times.

Mandie rolled her eyes, ignoring her ex husband and Turner's opinions about her.

"I do not need this judgment of my actions for picking of my own groom, especially since I refuse to love, much less marry a man who is not my equal. Much less fit to be in the capital of my world..." She said.

"Well every woman has their own unique standards, even young women from deep in space too I suppose..."Wanda said, not disagreeing with Mandie's reasons but unsure of her methods.

As she went about this, she looked away an thought of someone she loved over someone she hated.

"This is taking forever. I hope that Danny is okay..." She thought, as her mind wondered off about the one person she deeply cares for in other universe.

She clenched tightly on the device that holds all of photographs of Mandie and Danny had taken together over their relationship.

Back with Danny

The ghost boy is still held captive inside a Boudacian prison cell, shackled with ghostproof chains and locked up with his alien girlfriend's space werewolf father.

Needless to say, this is definitely the most unique and random situation that Danny has ever found himself in. And considering his how unusual his abnormal life already is, that was saying something.

"Could've at least given me a book or something to pass the time..." Danny complained.

"Silence, its hard to think of violent vengeance if you're talking!..." Maurus said, ticked off.

Danny rolled his eyes.

Thankfully the barred windows of their shared jail cell provided a nice view of space to help calm down the awkward tension in the room.

Even so, this was awkward.

To be in a prison cell with the father of the alien princess who desired him for a husband was a level of discomfort he never thought possible.

Danny did not need a watch to see how long it took for the two to dislike each other. From the instant the conversation started, it seemed the cliché of father hating their son in laws began.

Not that Maurus's trigger rage was helping. Especially with tradition.

"I cannot believe you are the creature who captured my daughter's heart..." Maurus said, looking down on him.

"When she wasn't capturing me, that is..." Danny jokingly responded.

"From the way my daughter spoke about you I wasn't expecting to meet you in chains..." Maurus said with a snarl, as he meant that as an insult.

"Yeah? Well, the feelings mutual..." Danny quipped back struggling and not making any progress.

Just one minute with Maurus and the ghost boy instantly realized where Mandie inherited her ability to turn her purple hair on fire when she lost her temper.

Mostly since Maurus's fur sparked a bit in anger

"Do NOT test me, Earth dweller!..." He snarled, but was zapped by his own restraints again.

"Yep, there's no doubt in my mind that this is Mandie's dad. What they lack in sharing appearances, they more than make up for sharing some personality traits..." Danny thought to himself.

However, he had more important matters to deal with...such as escaping

He needed to figure a way out before his planet, his friends, his family and billions of people he didn't know got vaporized because Brutis was a sore loser.

He the began to try and free himself, but to no avail.

"Don't bother, these chains are as unbreakable as my daughter's refusal to marry Brutis..." Maurus said, looking furious as he mentioned the name.

"I just don't understand why you kept trying to pressure Mandie to marry that jerk!..."Danny said.

"I was trying to make sure she had a good future! She needed a strong husband to ensure the royal Boudacian bloodline remains strong!..."Maurus said, now regretting his choice.

"Well, the guy you chose doesn't seem to want that..."Danny snarked.

"Believe me, when I get out of here, I will have his head..."Maurus snarled, angry over the betrayal.

"Sure, Fido!..." Danny snarked, aggravating the king even more.

"Don't talk down to me, you have no idea how things have been for our family! After Turner tricked her into marrying that hump backed man and her failed coup/marriage of Yugopatamias prince, there was talk of Mandie not being worthy of being heir, since she has gone through the shame of two divorces! I was trying to save her honor and protect her birthright!..." Maurus said, upset.

"I heard about that..."Danny snarked, before he spoke his mind.

"One, I am not trying to marry her, we are just dating but I do care about her! Two, divorce is sometimes the better option if your partner just makes you feel miserable, at least that is what my aunt told me And two, Mandie doesn't NEED someone on her arm to be a good queen!..." He said in defense of his girlfriend.

"Even if it isn't you?..." Maurus asked, sending him a suspicious look.

"Yeah even if it isn't me..." Danny answered. "Though definitely not Brutis..." He added.

"Well I know that now..." Maurice grumbled.

Danny focuses on his bindings. It was the same ones Mandie had used before. But it would be tricker to get out of these now since she isn't here and Brutis took the keys.

"So, how did you and your wife meet?..."Danny asked suddenly

. He mostly did it for some noise as he tried to break free. Maurus sent him a look.

"We gotta find some way to pass the time as we think of an escape..."He said, and the beastly alien sighed.

"I was the youngest prince of the ruling family of Planet Ly-kane 9 and Milee was the crown princess to the Boudacians, my people's newest allies. We were arranged to marry, since it would guarantee a secure and prosperous force when we teamed up to conquer the various planets in the galaxy..."Maurus said as he recalled the tale.

"We met, were married and I beat her during our first spar together as newlyweds...then we fell in love, and eventually became king and queen when Milee's father had lost his life in battle..."He explained.

"Sounds...romantic..."Danny's voice was unsure. "How do you think she is handling this?..."Danny asked.

"Milee may act calm and understanding, but she also possesses the most brilliant mind in the universe. She can strategize several steps ahead of enemy armadas. She is a cold, heartless war machine...Ah, that's one of the things that I love about her..."Maurus said, in fondness.

"I...see..." Danny said, not sure how else to respond.

"Note to me: don't make Mandie's mom mad.."He thought.

The ghost boy then began to worry on how his other meeting with Mandie's mother might play out under these circumstances.

After a few seconds of silence, it was not the imprisoned king's turn to speak.

"Any ideas? At this point, I am open to suggestions even if they come from you…"Maurus growled, pulling at his chains. He kept mentally echoing how if he were stronger he could get out.

"Right now, none…"Danny said, as he focused his ghostly powers but they could not extend beyond his body.

Whatever restrained him made sure to keep his powers in check.

"Brutis is an idiot, but I think he did his homework this time…"He quipped.

"What is homework?…"Maurus asked.

"Not important. What is important is getting out of here..."Danny said as he tried to think fast.

"Finally, you said something I agree with..." Maurus muttered.

While the ghost boy tried to think up a plan of escape, he noticed something oddly familiar about his restraints and recalled something his girlfriend told him once during a past date.

"I think I have an idea on how we can bust out of here, but I need to borrow one of your claws for a quick minute..." Danny said, causing Maurus to stare at him with a questioning look on his furry face.

"My claws?..." Maurus asked, surprised.

"Yeah, your claws. Look, Brutis used our weaknesses to trap us but I bet he didn't think we'd work together to get out..." Danny said.

"Work... together?..." Maurus asked, as if Danny said something bizarre.

"Yes, I need your help. Or, more accurately, the help of how fortunate it is you don't have manicures..." Danny quipped.

"What do you mean?..." Maurus asked, not knowing what those are.

"Mandie told me that these chains have a secret mechanism to unlock it without the key...right around here. Maybe you can reach it..." Danny explained

The king frowned, dismissive of his idea.

"That is a ludicrous plan! Boudacia's finest blacksmiths and craftsmen created these cuffs like they do with all of our weapons! They have been an invaluable asset to this for generations..." Maurus said, not having any hopes in Danny's plan.

"Are they experts in making GHOST proof stuff?..." Danny asked with sass.

Maurus frowned, not liking what he considered to be his disrespectful attitude.

"And why should I do as you order?..." Maurus asked suspiciously.

"Because if you help me, I'll help release you and then we can find Brutis and kick his butt..." Danny said, hating him as much as Maurus did.

"I plan to do much more than just that to that traitor..." Maurus said, unfamiliar with Earth metaphors.

"So do I, but we gotta find Mandie and her mom first. So you have to help me..." Danny said, needing Maurus' cooperation.

"Your attempt to butter up a potential father-in-law isn't doing so well..."Maurus said, glaring at him.

"Just humor me, unless you have a better idea on how to get out of here..."Danny said, wanting to get this over with.

Maurus growled, but grumbled.

"Fine, if it will silence you but if you try something, I will make it look like an accident so Mandie doesn't suspect anything..." Maurus said reluctantly, letting Danny do as he pleased.

The ghost boy did his best to pick the lock on his shackles with one of Maurus's claws. Danny hoped that all of times with his parents teaching him and Jazz how opened locked haunted mansions with hairpins would come in handy on this situation.

It came.

To the shock and minor displeasure of Maurus, Danny's shackles hit the floor as soon as he finished.

Danny, now freed, grinned.

"Finally. I was getting a cramp. Thanks..." Danny said, grateful to be freed.

He then turned to Maurus and approached him. Then placing his hands on Maurus's arms.

"What are you doing?!..." Maurus demanded, suspicious.

"Just hold still and trust me. I know what I'm doing..." Danny said, as he placed his hands on Maurus chained limbs.

In a moment he phased him out and now the king was freed.

"I knew it. Brutus clearly didn't bother to ghost-proof these things. So predictable..." Danny said while Maurus was stunned.

"I...I am freed?!..." He said, speechless whole unsure of what exactly just happened.

"Not just yet..." Danny said, gesturing to the door of their prison cell.

"Easy to overcome..." Maurus said as he readied to break it down.

"Come on, we need to escape and stop Brutis from taking over your planet and destroying mine! ..." Danny said, wanting to leave.

"I am not leaving until I find my wife, Earth boy. I came to this universe with her and I won't leave her..." Maurus insisted, not wanting to leave Milee behind.

"Fine, any idea where she might be?..." Danny asked.

"I have a few ideas..." Maurus responded.

"Then I'll help you..." Danny said.

The King of Boudacia readied himself to make some big damage

"Good, now to break out of here. It should take me 5 minutes to break down that door with my bare hands!..." Maurus said, walking towards it but Danny stopped him.

"No time, come on, I know a quicker route..." Danny said as he grabbed Maurus by the shoulders.

"What?! Release me!..." Maurus insisted but Danny ignored him.

"Sit tight..." He said as he made both him and Maurus intangible.

The werewolf alien was taken back, experiencing this for the first time.

"This feels...kind of wrong..." He said as Danny phased them out of the prison cell.

Then phased out of a completely different and luckily empty room..

"Ta-da!..." Danny said cheekily.

Maurus shuddered, not at all comfortable with the passing through soild wall as if they were made of vapor.

"That felt utterly unnatural..." He muttered, which Danny ignored.

"So your wife? Do you know where is she might be locked up?..." Danny asked.

"If my hunch is right, then she's most likely restrained in the training room and being interrogated. This way!..." Maurus pointed down the hall.

While Danny followed Maurus, who knew his way around his own ship like the back of his hand, the young hero thought back to the dinner plans that his girlfriend wanted to set up for them and her parents.

"The sooner we finish, the sooner I may want to convince Mandie to reschedule this whole dinner meeting thing..." Danny said under his breath, sensing that making dinner plans with his potential in-laws right after stopping usurping traitor from invading his home planet, might not be the best timing.

Of course, he didn't realize she didn't know exactly what was happening...since she's not in this universe.

But is in fact, sent back to the dimension the Boudacians came from.

Back in Fairy Court

The verdict came.

The Fairy Council acknowledged that Mandie was, for once, innocent but still had been guilty of quite a few crimes in the past.

However, one fairy in the courtroom still had some doubts of her being reformed and needed to be sure that Fairyworld wasn't at risk of being targeted for Boudacian vengeance.

Jorgen Von Strangle.

"We offer our most sincerest apologies, Princess Mandie. But I'm afraid we currently can't return you back towards the universe where you just came back from without proof that you have changed..." The lead member of Fairy Council said, almost feeling sorry for her.

Jorgen, however, didn't feel sorry.

"Like that was a surprise. And I suppose the next thing you might request from us would be to erase all records of your and your people's past deeds of destruction and conquering too..." Jorgen added.

"Jorgen should be more tactful..." One member whispered to another, who nodded.

"It's not like we would actually agree to such an unreasonable request in the first place..."The other fairy council member replied.

"If the Fairy Council will permit me, I have an idea of a proper punishment. This time, Princess Mandie, we are banishing you to another universe! One that looks like this!..." He said, grinning sadistically.

What they showed Mandie was a world that looked stiff, lifeless and too brightly colored. It was a very wacky a d even unappealing place. One part of this world had had a superhero with a sidekick, but from what little was seen, it was obvious that they were nowhere near as cool, kind or even as competent as Danny.

Heck, in the one scene they witness, they were both shown more interested in analyzing a piece of popcorn than any crime.

And that was just the tip of the iceberg on what was messed up with the place. It took less than a minute for a certain princess to start screaming.

"NOOOOO!..." Mandie screamed, hating the thought of not being with Danny but she REALLY didn't want to go there either.

Timmy and his fairies huddled together in shock.

"It's too hideous to look at!..." Cosmo cried out.

"Now... prepare to be banished there forever!..." Jorgen shouted, but the rest of the council seem to be hesitant on allowing such a punishment for someone trying to seek some form of redemption.

"Jorgen, perhaps that is too much, even for a Boudacian..." The head of the fairy council said.

Jorgen sighed.

"Fine, then the only other option left is to banish you on another different universe that is more third dimensional and wacky science with no magic to speak of..."Jorgen said, refusing to budge further

As Jorgen aimed his wand at her, Mandie sobbed.

"Goodbye forever, Danny..."She said, her heart breaking.

Hearing that name got Timmy thinking and realized something.

"Wait! You can't! It's against da rules!..."Timmy yelled, as he got between Mandie and Jorgen's wand.

"It is?..."Jorgen questioned, lowering this wand a bit.

"It is?..."The Fairy Council echoed, confused.

"It...is?..."Mandie was equally confused but hopeful now.

"What are you talking about, Turner?..." Jorgen asked, confused by pink hat wearing child's outburst.

Thinking fast in the confusion, Timmy leaped onto the rule book by Jorgen. Opening up the giant book's contents, he flipped through the pages before landing on what he was looking for.

Cosmo and Wanda floated behind the boy, looming over his shoulder as he pointed to his argument.

"It says here that fairies and their magic cannot interfere with true love..."Timmy said.

"True love?..." One fairy council member asked.

"See? According to Da Rules, you can't interfere with true love..." Timmy jumped off the book, landing in front of the council.

"Well, Mandie loves someone. Truly loves him. As we mentioned a million times already, I was going to make a wish that Mandie here would be sent back to the other universe, and be reunited with her true love, Denny..." Timmy said.

"Danny..." Mandie corrected.

"Right, him. You can't punish Mandie because she has a true love who she wants to return to. Which we were about to help her with, but SOMEBODY had to interrupt us and drag us to court, blaming me for something I didn't even do..." Timmy said, while Jorgen whistled out of obliviousness as he began to sweat.

"Is this true?..." Another asked.

Mandie nodded.

"Yes, I met someone in the other universe. A wonderful person who I need to see again. His name is Danny Fenton, who also goes by Danny Phantom, and I deeply hope to marry him one day. Once he says yes that is..." Mandie said.

Jorgen recalled the last time he faced the Observant and mentioned that Mandie had feelings for the ghost boy and thought it nothing more than a bad joke, which turned out to be true.

"Well, she is telling the truth about being fond of someone. That technically counts..." Jorgen said reluctantly.

"But rules are rules..." He said, but Timmy nodded.

"Exactly, so, you know if you put her somewhere else, it'll interfere with true love which fairies aren't allowed to do...and that means you'd be breaking the rules..." Timmy pointed out.

"Please work..." Mandie whispered, as she crossed her fingers for some form of luck to be on her side.

Jorgen's footsteps shook the ground. He was like a magical, nuclear storm as he stomped to Mandie. His eyes were narrow, studying over the alien princess. Holding up his massive wand, he focused his magic on the girl.

Mandie didn't know what this might, but she stood her ground and readied herself for whatever is about. As Jorgen's Wand's magic slowly surrounded her entire body.

To everyone's astonishment, Mandie was fine. The magic did nothing. It was a tough pill to swallow, an understatement, as they now realized Mandie had fallen in love. And this love had changed her, for the better.

Mandie wasn't too shocked by this out, since she already know that her feelings for Danny were as real as she was.

And she felt that he feels the same way.

The fairy council began to mutter and whisper, since this was certainly a first for a Boudacian to have made such a dramatic change from such a short period of time.

Then a magical wooden gavel could be heard quieting everyone, so that they make a verdict.

"In this case, it seems we have been mistaken. We rule that Timmy Turner be allowed to keep his fairies and Princess Mandie of Boudacia seems to be on the path of being fully rehabilitated and thus, allowed to return to the world we originally sent her to. So long as we agree to never speak of this little misunderstanding again..." The head of the fairy council said.

"YAHOO!..." Timmy and his fairies cheered, while even Mark and Poof high-fived out of celebration.

"Choice-e-riffic!..." Mark cheered, happy for his friends.

Mandie sighed in relief.

"About time!..." She said, hoping this means she can leave.

"We also declare that Princess Mandie of Boudacia shall have her request of back sent back to the same universe that she was banished to before, so that she can return towards her true love within the other universe..." The head said, making his decision final.

"FINALLY!..." Mandie cheered, jumping and cheering out of pure joy.

With the trial over the Fairy Council raised their wands and poofed everyone back to their respective homes and duties.

"Fine... you may return to the world that was supposed to be your punishment..." Jorgen went before he grunted angrily.

"Thank you!..." Mandie went.

"But know this!..." Jorgen shouted, aiming his wand at her menacingly. "If you ever return here, regardless of whether or not it was your intent... I'll use my magic to transform you into a harmless house cat. GOT IT?!..."

"Got it..." Mandie went, recognizing this was a foe she cannot handle.

Jorgen then poofed the group back to where they once were.

"Okay... before anything else happens..." Timmy said before clearing his throat. "I wish Mandie was back on her planet, in the universe where this Danny guy she's so into is!..." He wished.

Mandie grinned as Cosmo and Wanda pulled out their wands, ready to poof her to Danny's universe.

"Oh Danny, I'll be there very soon..." Mandie whispered in anticipation as she clasped her hands and hoped that this time she is truly such back to her new home universe.

Instead, the wands did a "pffttt" sound and nothing but tiny sparks left. It didn't work.

"WHAT NOW?!..."Mandie yelled, her mood doing a 180 and hair nearly flaming again.

"Oops... that took so long that we need to charge..." Wanda went, as she saw that they were on low power.

"Ugh. Are you kidding me?!..."Mandie groaned.

"Don't worry, it'll only take about 5 minutes..." Cosmo said.

The space princess sighed angrily.

"Well...since I'm waiting...may as well use the bathroom..." Mandie grumbled as she headed to power her nose and be ready to go home.

"I almost forgot who overly goofy this world can be..." She thought, now viewing her old home universe through a much newer perspective.

Mandie had gotten so used to Danny's universe that she felt more at home there than anywhere else. Which she admittedly embrace without realizing it until just now.

"Danny..." She thought, realizing how much she changed because of her love for him.

And she's going to need that to give her the strength needed to save him back home.
