Chapter 71: Confrontations and Threats
With Team Phantom
While Danny and Mandie were dealing with their respective problems on Boudacia, Danny's friends and sister were still dealing with their own issues.
Such as trying to FIND their missing friend.
After Sam made several discreet phone calls and purchases, they managed to upgrade the specter speeder and it was now worthy of space travel.
Which it is doing right now, with the aid of the Infi-Map.
"I can't believe this! That stupid alien witch! Just wait until I get my hands on her!..." Sam complained, fidgeting in her seat and her eyes looking ready for blood.
"Sam, calm down, you're stressing yourself out!…" Jazz said, noticing Sam's hand twitching.
"Oh I'll calm down, once I blast that alien's pretty face off!…" She growled.
"Sam, seriously, calm down before you accidentally hurt yourself…" Jazz said, not liking how violent Sam was being.
"Yeah, we're about to prepare ourselves to sneak into a big spaceship full of brawl hungry and battle crazed aliens. The last thing we need is you acting like one too..." Tucker said.
"Not funny, Tucker! But fine, you both made your point..." The goth girl said, ticked off.
She grew more agitated during the ride, her anger and paranoia created a bunch of unpleasant scenarios in her mind.
"Just how long did that space case planned all this out? From the start or even before she met Danny?! We gotta save him? Can't this stupid map work faster!..." Sam complained, still furious.
"Look Frostbite said that it would take a while to even LOCATE Boudacia due to it being originally from another universe..." Jazz reminded.
"And each second we AREN'T there, Danny is probably being fitted for a tux against his will!..." Sam snapped.
"We still don't know if it really was Mandie who did it, didn't Danny mentioned he had another alien enemy? And Mandie did mention her dad might not be too crazy about her dating Danny?..." Jazz reminded.
"We still don't know that she not NOT doing this?! For all we know, she could've been scheming all of this long before Danny bought her little "friendship" act! We have to rescue Danny! That space case dangerous and crazy!..." Sam said, being stubborn.
Jazz rolled her eyes.
"Says the girl who literally said "Need this, and this, and this, oho, definitely this!" as she grabbed whatever she could she got her hands on from the weapons vault like some angry weirdo!..." Jazz muttered in a deadpanned tone, since Sam took pretty much everything she could find to hurt Mandie with.
"Planet of alien warriors, Jazz..." Tucker reminded.
"Whoever abducted Danny, either Mandie that Berty guy Danny mentioned, is going to be armed to the teeth. Though you could have been LESS enthusiastic about choosing the weapons Sam..." Tucker said, since he knew she still had her own issues against Mandie.
Sam just ignored this as she sulked inside the vehicle before going back to the map.
"Whatever, we'll see for ourselves whether or not that royal space tyrant was behind all this and then I'll deal with her myself..."Sam muttered, mentally preparing herself to fight Mandie.
First thing first, they actually have to GET to Planet Boudacia.
"How long will it take to actually get to that place?! We've already been in space for what feels like an hour?..." Sam asked, eager to kick some Boudacian butt.
"Maybe we should take a left turn at Saturn..." Tucker joked.
"It better not be a joke..." Jazz demanded.
"Uh, it's not..." Tucker said in fear.
"The map's telling us to make a turn at Uranus..." Sam stated and the others stared at her.
"No, really. The map does say that..." She then showed the map.
"I am so not telling Danny that..." Tucker muttered.
"Me neither..." Jazz said, knowing how her brother would react. "Knowing my little brother, he'd definitely either laugh at that or make a follow-up joke about it..." She said, sighing out of slight nostalgia.
Sam frowned, as she pulled out the Boomerang from the piles of weapons she tossed into the speeder before they left.
It could locate Danny anywhere and she hoped it included outer space.
"Alright, just let me get started with this stupidly named device and we can track Danny faster..." Sam said, about to set up the device.
"Sam, we don't need that…" Tucker called out. "Remember, we have the Infi-Map?..."
"And its taking WAY TOO long!? We don't have all day!..." Sam shouted as she was about to toss the device away before Jazz stopped her.
"Sam, we are in SPACE right now! We can't exactly open the door and throw that out!..." Jazz said.
Sam heard this and groaned.
"Right, bad idea..." She muttered, begrudgingly understanding the point.
She didn't like it but she understood it.
Relunctantly, she settled for relying on the Infi-Map to lead all of them to where Danny currently is, even if it was taking longer than she would have liked.
"Mandie better prove me wrong about her role in this mess! Or else!..." She thought, eager to prove her crimes and rescue Danny.
Unknown to her, there were going to be much more surprises heading their way once they arrive to Boudavia.
On Boudacia
"I see your three escaped. I guess those droids did a lousy job of keeping you caged. They can't even do the one job they had..." Brutis said, acting unusually calm right now.
Danny and the true ruling couple glared at the traitorous Boudacian, ready to fight and take him down.
"Brutis, hand me my crown, at once!..." Maurus snarled, his fur changing color and about to combust.
"No, I have something else planned..." Brutis said, smirking.
"Stop! As you king, I order you to cease!..." Maurus ordered, marching forward.
"And as your queen, I order you to stand stand down this foolish rebellion and maybe, just maybe, you can keep all parts of your body!..."Milee said, ready to make him face the brutal consequences.
"That's just it, you are no longer in command, I am..."Brutis said, enraging the true rulers of the planet even more with his attitude.
"Such insolence! I should've listened to Mandie and banish you a long time ago!..." Maurus snarled, his fur in flames now and his fangs bared.
"Yes yes..." Brutis said with casual indifference as he summoned his minions and droids.
"Detain them!..." He ordered, while his minions approached the three.
Milee and Danny rolled his eyes.
"He can't be serious..." They both said, only to blink when they were in sync.
"Hmm... my daughter might be right about you..." Milee said as she grabbed one droid's arm without even looking.
"Thanks... I think..." Danny said,unsure of what she meant by that remark and somewhat finding her acceptance oddly uncomfortable.
"Now let's take this moron down!..."Maurus and Danny both said at once, only to see they were in sync too.
"That was weird…" Danny commented as he readied himself.
"Indeed…" Maurus agreed as she readied himself as well.
"We can discuss this after Brutis is dealt with..."Milee said as Danny nodded.
"Right, time to bash some heads..."He said.
The two then charged, jumping over Maurus, who kept trying to order Brutis' minions, to no avail. He was shocked when he saw the two attacks, but snapped out of it as he quickly joined them, tearing droids apart and knocking out the traitors. Brutis just watched from afar, still looking calm and confident as his minions were beating beaten.
Danny blasted the droids, launching them towards Brutis' men, Milee was tearing the droids apart with her bare hands, and Maurus was using one of Brutis' men as a weapon, slamming the poor man towards the others, sending them flying.
"Guess that's one way get a grip on things..."Danny quipped.
Milee chuckled at that.
"Witty..."She said.
"It wasn't that funny..."Her husband grunted before he went back to destroying robots and defeating traitors with his bare hands.
The battle continued, and the heroes and traitors had no idea hat at that moment, another battle was happening in the other side of the palace right now.
With Mandie
Clashes of ice and hot metals echoed through the royal halls as Mandie and Dieana fought.
"DIE!..."Dieana screamed at her hated form.
"So not happening!..." Mandie said as she dodged her attack.
Dieana swung her two frozen daggers, which Mandie blocked with her flaming sword. Whenever their weapons clashed, a small burst of sparks and steam would appear.
"Looks like your time visiting earth has made your skills on the battlefield gone a little soft!..." Dieana criticized.
"Or perhaps I'm just going easy on you, by fighting on your level..." Mandie mocked, irritating the traitorous maid more.
Dieana had a fierce snarl on her face as she swung her daggers at precise targets, aiming at Mandie's neck, chest, and temple, but Mandie calmly deflected all her attacks, a look of concentration on her face.
Mandie was about to give a big overhead swing, and Dieana raised her daggers to block it, but Mandie quickly stopped the swing and used the momentum to give a kick instead, hitting Dieana's abdomen.
She coughed a little from the attack, stunned for a few seconds, before she recovered. She took deep breathes, glaring at Mandie before she resumed her attacks, her anger making her reckless as she just swung her weapons recklessly, making it easy to Mandie to dodged her attacks.
Suddenly, Mandie dodged another strike to her chest and retaliated with a right hook that made Dieana stumble back a few feet. She quickly corrected herself, preparing to block a killing blow, but was confused when she saw Mandie just standing there, holding her sword tightly.
"What are you doing?..." Dieana demanded. "You had a lot of opportunities to finish me off. Why haven't you?..."She demanded.
"I don't do that anymore…" Mandie replied, making Dieana blink in confusion.
"Don't do what?..."She asked, confused.
"I don't kill anymore, at least not without giving my opponent the opportunity to surrender as a form of mercy. That's what I learned on Earth and from my Danny…" Mandie explained, making Dieana give Mandie a shocked look.
"You don't what!?..." The traitor exclaimed in shock, staring at Mandie like she lost her mind.
"My beloved taught me that I don't need to kill to prove my superiority…" Mandie said proudly. "And honestly, killing isn't that glorious when your opponent is weaker than you.."She said, making Dieana glare harder at that insult but Mandie did not care.
"And as much as I hate you right now, I don't have time to waste spilling your blood when I should be finding my parents and my boyfriend..." The princess said, while her former maid was shocked.
However, Diana's expression soon morphed into disgust and humiliation.
"Bah! You've become weak!..." Dieana spat out in disgust. "Though, I'm not surprised, having such a weak lover…"She said in a disrespectful tone.
Mandie's eyes narrowed in anger.
Suddenly, she appeared in front of Dieana and delivered a powerful backhand that sent Dieana flying a few feet away. She rolled on the ground a few times before she stopped, slowly standing up with shaky legs.
"Still think I'm weak?..." Mandie asked as she calmly walked towards Dieana, who just growled and rushed back towards Mandie.
"A real warrior princess would've split my skull in two with that attack! YOU HAVE GONE SOFT!..." Dieana yelled.
"And yet, your the only one who can barely stand on her own two feet. Really, if I am a weakling, then what does that make you?..." Mandie mocked, infuriating Dieana even more.
"UGH! I'LL KILL YOU!..." Dieana shouted, a deranged look on her face.
"I don't have to kill you Dieanna but I don't have to save you from my parents judgement either..." Mandie said, her look of disgust turned into anger.
"Even so, I may not feel like killing right now, but lets see what you can live through!..."She said, as she raised her hand and gave her ex-maid the "come at me" gesture.
More clashing continued and the fight between these two Boudacian females intensified.
Back to the throne room.
"And that's another one for the recycling bin!..."Danny quipped as he took down three more bots by freezing them.
"More like the scrapheap asteroid!..."Maurus growled as he crashed a robot within each of his clawed hands.
"Not this time, Maurus. The scrapheap asteroid was in our original universe. Meaning will have to adapt into recycling our destroyed robot instead of launching them into a deserted rock in space!..." Milee said as she kicked the head cleanly off a droid's body with such quick speed, sending them crashing into a wall.
"Memo to me, don't get into a fight with Mandie's mom..." Danny thought as he bashed two droids against each other.
Soon, the traitors were beaten to the ground, surrounded by broken droid parts and battered traitors. Maurus even used his fire powers to terrify them for good measure and even managed to burn the robot's circuitry.
Now, they turned to the leader of this coup, ready to tear him a part and clean what he leaves.
"It's over Brutis, you and your coup are over..." Milee said, ripping a droids head free from its body.
"Surrender Mandie and maybe you'll be granted a painless execution!..."Maurus growled, ready to destroy him this moment.
The traitorous Boudacian just smirked.
"Unfortunately for you, my bride to be is not here yet. But I think I can change her mind and get her ready for our wedding..."Brutis said in a cocky way.
"I will NEVER allow my daughter to marry scum like you!..."Maurus said, while his wife 's rage was at its peak but somehow managed to keep her composure.
"General Brutis, by the power vested in me as queen of Boudacia, you are to be arrested and punished to the fullest extent of our laws for treason, backstabbing the royal family, kidnapping and breaking the marriage laws..."Milee said, glaring at him.
"Always so headstrong and quick to act, Mother..."Brutis said in a mocking way, striking a nerve in her.
"Don't you EVER call me that again!..."Milee said as Maurus's claws were ready to tear him apart.
"Oh, but I'll have every right to call you that soon..." Brutis said, still being cocky.
He snapped his fingers, causing the doors to burst open, and a larger group of guards and drones appeared behind him. He gave the three an incredibly smug smile, like he already won, but Danny, Maurus, and Milee weren't even phased, especially since the guards seemed to be sweating nervously. They even flinched back when Maurus bared his teeth at them.
"You'll be pieces before that happens!..." Maurus shouted.
"Give up Bruty, you lost and they won..." Danny said mocking his "rival" for Mandie's love.
"You think you all won?! I'm the only one worthy enough to rule Boudacia. Can't you fools see that my bride to be is too much a coward to face me herself instead she sends this unholy abomination to fight her battle for her..." He said arrongantly, unaware of the fight between Dieana and Mandie.
"Oh, you should not have said that Brutis..." Maurus said with a smirk, having heard with his species sensitive hearing something neither human or boudacian heard.
It was a shame Mandie wouldn't leave him anything to torment when she was through with this whelp though.
"Just give up already, and save yourself the embarrassing beatdown..."Danny said, while his rival glared harder at him.
"The only one who will be embarrassed here will be you, freak…" Brutis said.
"After all, because of you, my beloved has changed, no longer the fierce warrior she was, now a coward who spares her enemies, though thanks to that, she'll finally be persuaded to see things my way…"He said, believing things will go his way.
Suddenly, another door burst open, covering the place in smoke.
"Seriously, is it an alien custom to blow up doors or something?..." Danny asked once the smoke dissipated, and then his eyes widened as relief filled him, seeing Mandie standing in the room, a beaten Dieana a few feet away from them.
"Daughter!..." Maurus and Milee said, relieved.
"Mandie! You're okay!..."He said, relieved to see her.
Mandie saw him and smiled.
"Hi Danny darling. I'll be with you in just a moment. I got a fool to beat to a pulp right now..."Mandie said sweetly, before sending a furious glare at Brutis.
"A coward am I?!..." She said, her voice dropping in rage and stood behind Brutis.
"Ah my love I'm glad you have awaken. I was beginning to think you wouldn't make it. I hope that the droids weren't too rough with you..."He said, being smug.
The alien princess saw him and then saw red. Rage filled her very being at the smug expression on his face, Mandie rushed towards him at a surprising speed, easily knocking away the few guards who were brave, or foolish, enough to stand in her way, before leaping towards Brutis.
"BRUTIS!..."Mandie's yelled echoed as she swung her flaming sword at his head, but in the very last second, an injured Dieana came racing in to stop the fire blade with her icy daggers.
"We're not finished just yet, your highness! I need to take a few clips off your head!..."Dieana said, but Brutis ignored her and focused on the princess.
"Princess..."Brutis walked over with overconfidence. "Are you finally ready to accept our love?..."
Maurice and Milee rolled their eyes.
"Daughter, as a sign of my apology, why don't I allow you to be the first to properly punish this traitor..." Maurus said, deciding to wait a little longer for revenge.
Mandie smirked.
"Glad to see you finally see reason, father. And be happy too..." She said, as she easily pushed Dieana away and rushed towards Brutis.
"I'd give it about 5 minutes before Brutis is begging for a doctor..." Danny said, knowing that Mandie could easily beat him in a fight.
However, two drones appeared behind Brutis and grabbed Mandie's arm, surprising her and keeping her in place. The guards nearby quickly surrounded her, weapons ready.
Mandie flailed against her restraints. With such fervor, the guards beside her stood back with spears at her throat, unsure if her cuffs could hold her.
But they were not the reason for her fury. The princess could feel Brutis's intents as he walked over. She snapped forward, attempting to bite off the manchild's hand before it could touch her.
"It seems your spirit has not left you. Good..."Brutis chuckled darkly. "That would have made things boring..."
"If you think I'll let you touch me-"
"You will...after our wedding..."Brutis said with a vile grin on his face.
"EWW! No! Never!..."Mandie yelled, disgusted with the very idea.
"Never say never..."Brutis said arrogantly, enraging her even more.
"I would only touch you to break you in half!..." Mandie shouted as she ran at him with claws extended.
However, to her displeasure, a yellow dome appeared around Brutis.
"Did you think I'd never take into account you'd do such a thing? I've known for years how... spirited you can be..."
"That's one way to say superior to you..."
"Regardless... I will have you as my bride, count on it..."Brutis said, while Dianna looked shocked that Brutis still wanted to marry the spoiled little brat.
"W-What?! B-but I...I thought...you said you were going to marry me!..."Dieana said, horrified to learn she was wrong.
Brutis just scoffed.
"I NEVER said such a thing, Dieana. You heard what you wanted to hear..."Brutis said, waving his hand dismissively.
"You have played your part well in serving the TRUE king of Boudacia, now you are of no use to me..."He said coldly, while Dieana looked horrified and betrayed.
"But...But...I love you! I DID ALL OF THIS FOR YOUR LOVE!..."She shouted, tears in her eyes, while the arrogant Boudacian man sent her a condescending look.
"I don't dismiss your choice in men, but you aim too high..."He said as he silently ordered a droid to knock her out.
Dieana was unconscious and taken away, and Brutis sighed.
"Finally, she is so mouthy and annoying. But as least she made for a good enough servant, as always..."He said cruelly.
Danny saw this and glared at him.
"Dude, I knew you were garbage but that was just low. Even lower than Vlad's level of being a dirtbag!..."Danny said, disgusted at finding someone who could outclass his archenemy at being a scumbag.
"As if I care what some earth freak says..."Brutis said before turning to Mandie.
"Now Princess, about my proposal to our engagement. It's still on the table, so what's your answer?..."He said to the princess, as if nothing had change after what just happened.
"You gotta be kidding me!..."Mandie huffed, rolling her eyes.
It would be many moon cycles before she would ever consider marrying Brutis. She made that abundantly clear over the vast times she won over the boy in battle. It would seem he would need a near-death experience to get it through his thick skull.
No. Forget near-death. After all he has done, an execution was the only course of option for his betrayal.
Mandie then easily broke her restraints, using the droids to swat the guards away from her before she rushed towards Brutis, who still looked confident. He then got into his usual battle stance, though it was laxed.
Insulted, Mandie rushed at Brutis with a ferocity that she rarely used ever since meeting Danny. Brutis managed to dodge her attacks, albeit getting grazed by her fiery sword, but he still had that confident look on his face. He wasn't even holding his weapon properly.
Which is why Mandie managed to easily knock the weapon off his hands before pointing her blade at his neck, just an inch away from cutting his head off. Yet, his expression hasn't changed, in fact, he looked amused.
"What? No sorry excuses of you losing?..." Mandie asked angrily. "That's a first. Did you run out of excuses?…"
"I will admit, I will miss these spats with you, but it's time to end this…" Brutis said in a calm voice as he calmly pushed the sword off his neck.
"Surrender now and marry me, or else…"Brutis demanded.
Mandie was too furious to speak and Brutis couldn't help but comment on.
"Speechless? A really good trait in a wife..." Brutis said, enraging the princess even more.
"That guy's such a narcissistic pig!..." Danny thought, as his girlfriend was filled with so much pent up anger that her hair began simmering.
Mandie growled, her anger momentarily forgotten by Brutis sudden demand before it came back with a snarl.
"You can't be serious!..."Mandie said.
"I've never been MORE serious..."Brutis said, smirking at her. "As I said earlier, I will have you as my bride...especially with what I have planned..."
"What are you gonna do? Offer me chocolate and roses?..." Mandie snarked.
"No, I just plan to eliminate your parents and my rival...unless you agree to my terms..." He said flatly.
"EXCUSE ME?!..."
"You heard..."He said, but Mandie thought he was bluffing right now.
"If you think much threats will work, you're crazier than I thought! Get it through your thick head, you nitwit, I will NEVER EVER MARRY YOU!..."Mandie screamed at him, her hair turning into fire for a moment.
"But you will. For if not, your parents, and your precious Danny will be dead before they have a moment to form an assault..."Brutis leaned in, grabbing the girl's face.
Mandie would usually just slapped him and slammed him to the ground, but she couldn't. For once, his confidence seemed almost scary as the girl noted something dark in his eyes.
The Boudacian warrior princess, however, simply didn't buy this traitorous coward's bluff, not at all intimidated by his threats.
"I think my two trips between universes must have messed with my hearing..." Mandie said stalking up the royal dais grabbing Brutis by the throat holding him up in the air.
"Trips between universes?..." Danny wondered, but realize the had more important things to focus on.
He watched as his alien girlfriend continued to berate her most hated suitor.
"Danny beat you more than once and you never once defeated me in combat, and your strength isn't even 1/10th close to my parents, so I don't know why you are still so overconfident! You're surrounded and your treacherous coconspirators will be joining you in the dungeon. What on Boudacia would make you think I'd marry you?!..."
"This!..." Brutis said, as he pulled out compartment from his armor.
It was a metallic gauntlet with red and black linings. He put on the gauntlet and clenched his fist, causing the gauntlet to release a sinister glow.
But before the trio could reach Brutis, the traitor pressed on his gauntlet.
Suddenly, she heard surprised, pain-filled screams. She turned around and saw her parents and her beloved on their knees, glowing black and red as they screamed in pain.
Their bodies were engulfed in flashes of green energy formed around and within them. Danny, Maurus and Milee felt immediately pain even before they hit the ground as their veins glowing green through their skin as they fall to their knees in agony.
"AHHHHHHHHRRRGGGGHHHH!..." Danny screamed in pain.
"DANNY!..." Mandie shouted in worry as she tried to run to him, but was restrained.
Then her parents started screaming in pain too.
"ARRRRHHHHHEEEEEHHHAAAHHH!..." Milee shrieked, feeling intense pain in her internal organs right now.
"ARRRRGGGHHHHHHAAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!..." Maurus shouted, cursing and snarling in pain.
Mandie managed to wringle free and break free from her captors.
"Danny! Mother! Father!..." She exclaimed in shock as she rushed towards them, kneeling as they fell flat on the ground. She lifted Danny's head up, who was groaning in pain.
She then turned to her parents and they both too were doing the same thing.
She wanted to help them but she was soon yanked away from them and restrained yet again. She then turned to a smug Brutis, hair blazing as she snarled at him.
"What did you do to them?!..."Mandie gasped, pulling against her captor's grip. Her efforts were in vain, unable to do anything more than worry for her loved ones.
Brutis's tone was low, malicious before he erupted into laughter. He then calmly walked towards them, enjoying how he finally looked down on them, before turnign to Mandie.
"Silly girl! Do you think I did not take precautions!?..."He brought Mandie's eyes to his.
"Before they awoke, I had my men inject nano-machines into their bodies while they were in captivity, armed with a rather foreign energy we managed to find by accident out in this universe's space during our first week here. The nanobots are now in the blood stream, deadly ones that risk damaging their central nervous systems that will leave permanent damage at best, or end their hearts at worse..."He said in a dark tone.
"With a push of the button, they will perish, slow and painful! In other words, now their lives are in my hands…"He said in a cruel way,
Mandie gasped in horror as she witnesses this, and the traitor smirked.
"You injected us!?..." Mandie exclaimed angrily.
"No worries, Darling. I did not have these things injected into you...I did not want to risk these contraptions being passed onto our children after all..."He said, as he walked back to the throne to sit upon it.
Mandie was angry and disgusted by his words, but also confused.
Despite how vastly advanced their race was, she never heard about them acquiring nano technology, since most of their research was used in wars and weaponry. She also knew that Brutis was nowhere near smart enough to think up something this effectively cruel to an enemy, meaning someone helped him do this.
But who?
"How in blazes could you even get such a thing to happen?! Even our top scientists don't have that sort of technology like that, and you are too stupid to come up with anything half as advanced as this!..." Mandie yelled viciously.
"That would be my doing, princes…" a voice said above them.
Startled, she looked up and saw a familiarly irritating face of Vlad Plasmius, who smirked at her with his arms crossed as he landed besides Brutis.
"Hello again, Princess. I see you have awakened from your beauty sleep and even managed to get a quick workout too. How lucky for you..."Vlad said in a cocky way, appearing by Brutis.
"Fruitloop?!..." Danny whispered, shocked to see him here.
"YOU?! You were the one who ambushed me earlier?!..." Mandie yelled.
"Guilty..."Vlad said with a mocking look, as he kept looking smug.
"It was child's play to get my nanobots to adapt to alien biology. As we speak, my machines are spreading through their circulatory system releasing an electromagnetic pulse on a cellular level, ripping them apart molecule by molecule... painfully I might add..."He said, as he watched his youthful enemy and the royals struggle.
"You're helping him? Why?..." Mandie demanded.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend..."Vlad and Brutis answered, both smirking arrogantly at them.
"That and Brutis here had promised me Danny's destruction and/or slavery and to give me a place in his new empire in the stars..."Vlad added, as he slowly walked over towards his young adversary.
"Fruitloop..." Danny let out in pained anger, only managing to glare at his archenemy and not much else as he was still in a lot of pain coming from all-over the inside of his body.
The villainous half ghost man simply smirked and marveled at his own handiwork at full display in front of him, making him wish he had something to record for this momentous occasion.
Mandie saw this and got even angrier, if that was even possible.
"Brutis, you truly have no honor if you're willing to team up with scum who lead his own children to their deaths just for some sick experiment!..." Mandie said hatefully, since Danny had told him of what happened to Dani and her brothers.
"If you are referring to those failed clones, they don't count as children. Just prototypes made for the sole purpose towards creating my perfect son, someone who I can trust to continue my work after I'm gone. Or at the very least do what Daniel failed to do and obey me like a GOOD child should..." Vlad said coldly, disgusting Mandie and Danny with how callous he was being.
Mandie was livid and felt a rage burning within her that she had never felt before Her hair was ignited again as she saw how callous and heartless the old halfa was being.
What Vlad did to Dani's "brothers" would have resulted in him facing their most terrible punishment if he'd been a Boudacian, since protecting ones offspring was a sacred duty for any Boudacian and those who didn't value their offsprings were deemed unworthy to being called Boudacian or parents.
In worst cases of those who were caught mistreating their offspring were banished from Boudacia for endangering it's future or were sentence to death depending on the severity of the crime.
And right now, all Mandie could see was red when she looked at the older half ghost man.
"YOU DISHONORABLE VERMIN!..." She shouted, but her most hated suitor stopped her from taking another step forward by summoning a few dozen droids to form a wall in her way.
"I decide what's honorable, my queen..." Brutis sneered. "And I think this is a wonderfully 'honorable' entertainment unless you agree to marry me..." He said cruelly, clearly taking sadistic pleasure from this.
"It'll be short entertainment I'd give it five minutes, before you'd need to call a janitor..."Vlad said callously, as Danny and the royal couple kept screaming.
"D-don't count...on it...you Fruitloop!..."Danny let out, trying to ignore the pain but it was very difficult.
Mandie wanted to destroy Brutis and Vlad but the evil traitors held the gauntlets and sent her a challenging glare.
"One false move and I turn this device on to full power...and then their suffering will end...permanently..." Brutis said, holding his finger above the button as a threat.
Mandie stood in place, horrified and needly went speechless by this development.
Brutis kept that cocky look on his face, as he began making threats again.
"So, Mandie, my darling princess. I suggest you think hard about your options right now...before my fingers start slipping..." Brutis said, that vile smirk still on his face.
Mandie could feel her insides rejecting this idea, but then she looked back at her parents and Danny riving in unspeakable pain.
"Mother...father...Danny..."She said, hating seeing them suffer like this.
Brutis, being impatient, once again repeated his previous question.
"So what will it be, Princess? Will you submit to me and be my bride and rightful help me rule this new universe and return our empire to its glory days again? Or will you deny me again and risk losing the ones you love so much..."Brutis cruelly asked.
Mandie growled at him, her hair in flames and her desire to pummel him at an all-time high. Her rage was made evident by her hair burn more intensely tha n ever.
"URRRHHHAAAAHHHHHH! I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU YEARS AGO!..."She screamed, ready to tear him apart.
"Tsk, Tsk Princess that's not one of the answers to my question. Try again..."Brutis said smugly, believing he had the upper hand.
Mandie huffed in anger, seeing those she cares for in danger making her anger slowly go.
"Please don't hurt them..." She said in a calmer tone, hating seeing them in pain like this.
"Go on, say those words that I've wanted to hear spoken from you for SO many years..."Brutis said, as the Princess knew what he was demanding her to say.
"Mandie, no! Don't do this...T-there's got to be...another way!..." Danny pleaded, as he ignored the pain and did his best to claw his way towards Mandie.
Her parents also tried to get her to stop, ignoring their own pain.
"You don't ha-have to...to do this..."Milee said before hissing in pain as the nanobots kept hurting her from the inside.
"You deserve better than his traitor! I-I should've listened to you...when I had the chance!..." Maurus said, before roaring in pain as the nanobots continued to slowly burn every cell within his body.
Maurus felt as if his insides were on fire instead of his fur, only with a much more violent discomfort. However, he preferred this over having to watch his only child submit to a traitor who proved yet again was unworthy of her.
"What have I done?! I should never have enabled him!..."He thought as his daughter was now paying the price.
Now he wishes he could go back and be rid of him.
His daughter, in the other hand, was forced into a terrible situation.
Mandie didn't want to agree to this monster's terms, but she knew that he had no other options and she had to swallow her unshakable warrior's pride. She turned to Brutis, refusing to look him in the eye and did something she really didn't want to do.
"...you win..." Mandie responded with a reluctant and defeated tone in her voice.
Brutis grinned.
"I do enjoy hearing that, but I want to hear you say is that you will agree to our engagement and will marry me tonight..." He said, with a slight hint of excitement to hear those word come from her voice.
"You gotta be k-..."
"DO IT! OR ELSE!..." Brutis snapped, threatening with his index finger hovering over the Control panel on his gauntlet.
Mandie glared at him, but knew that she, Danny and her parents were all driven into a corner with no visible way out this time. Which gave her no other choice to make. The alien princess glared hate fully at her most despised suitor and called him lots of nasty words in her mind before she reluctantly opened her mouth again.
"Alright...I'll...marry you..." She said with extreme reluctance, looking sick as she said this. "Just stop this..." She begged, not wanting to seeing Danny or her parents suffer anymore.
"Good..."Brutis leaned in to seal the deal with a kiss.
Mandie, however, responded by threatening him with a warning.
"Try that again and I'll tip your lips off after severing off your arm! Now release my parents and Danny before I decide to make good on my threat..." Mandie said, glaring murderously at him.
Brutis frowned, but decided to comply since what mattered to him is that she agreed to marry him.
"As you wish, my bride...I suppose I can wait until the ceremony..."He said, stopping the torture.
He ultimately decided to save any kisses for the wedding, since the submission of the princess was more than he could ask for now right now.
He would wait, for now.
He then turned to his minions, looking as smug as ever.
"Take Mandie away and have her be prepared for the wedding..."Brutis ordered, summoning the guards.
Mandie was soon escorted out as other guards took Danny and her parents. Before she was out, she could hear Brutis's words.
"Oh, and do try on the wedding dress. I choose it for you personally..."He said, smirking.
"Gee, how thoughtful..."Mandie said sarcastically, hating this.
"I try my best. That dress nearly cost me a fortune...or it would have, if I haven't used the Boudacian taxes collected from the citizens..."Brutis said as he celebrated by opening up some Boudacian berry wine to share with Vlad.
If Danny, Milee and Maurus won't in pain from the aftereffects of those nanobots, they would be glaring at Brutis with deep disgusted looks on their faces.
"Wow, he really IS good at being a scumbag. He's not even crowned yet, and he is already acting like a tyrant..."Danny muttered sarcastically, glaring more at the cruel Boudacian.
"Quite the tasty drink. I can only hope it'll a drink the woman I will take as my wife will also enjoy..." Vlad said.
Mandie glared hatefully at him, almost as hatefully as stared at Brutis.
Her urging desire to do extreme harm to both of them were impossibly high right now. But Mandie knew that she had to play along for the time being, until she could figure some way out of this and save Danny, Milee and Maurus from these strange nanobots.
Even if it means doing something she REALLY didn't want to do.
"I swear that I will find a way to stop this!..."Mandie thought until she quick glance at Danny and her parents, who were thankfully still alive and breathing.
However, they were clearly still in pain, which was a sight both Brutis and Vlad found quite humorous and delightful.
"TURN IF OFF!..."Mandie shouted.
"I will keep it low... for now. Now please, start changing..." Brutis said as an order.
"Oh, I do love a wedding. Perhaps you will be in need of a best man to hold on to the wedding rings...or whatever it is that your use instead of those...after I receive what we agreed upon our deal, that is..."Vlad said in a faux friendly way, not so subtly reminding the alien of their deal.
"You will receive what I promised...AFTER my wedding..."Brutis said, glaring at him.
Vlad frowned but nodded.
"Very well, thank goodness I remembered to dress for the occasion. Either it's a wedding or a funeral for Danny, it's a win-win for me..."The Fruitloop said as he floated towards the ship he came in to change.
Danny and Mandie's parents were to be chained up once again, forced to watch as Mandie was taken away to await her fate and escorted into another room by other reprogrammed droids.
As the royal family tried to break free, Danny looked out of the room.
"M-Mandie...I...need to...think fast..."The ghost boy let out in pain and dismay as he mind raced to figure out a new plan to help save his Mandie, his planet and Boudacia too.
Now... how can he save TWO worlds?!

2) I always hated Val Yor's behavior in that episode and even if he THOUGHT he was being nice in the end, his behaviour came off as condescending and he basically just called Starfire "one of the good ones", which means he was still insulting her race as a whole. Even when Starfire tried to set him straight that her saving his life doesn't make her different from other members of her race and calmly called him out for it, he had the nerve to get annoyed with her. And this is AFTER Starfire saved his life. It makes sense that the titans would call him out on his attitude.
