After dropping Jasmine off at home from work, Braedey heads off into the city to meet up with his older cousin Sam Witwicky. After years of fighting iff the Decepticons and other ongoing battles, Braedey finally got a chance to reunite with the person who was like an older brother to him. He found out from Aunt Judy and Uncle Ron that Sam works at a company known as Accureta Systems, which is the global leader in telecommunications and aerospace.
Once arriving at Accureta Systems, during the elevator ride up, Braedey couldn't help but feel uncomfortable as he glanced at a five-foot Asian man that just seemed to stare intently at him. Braedey just rolled his eyes as the elevator reached his floor and he walked off to head off and find his cousin.
Braedey then spotted Sam at a desk. "Ring-ring! Somebody order a bro-hug?" He asked cheekily.
Sam turned around from his desk and saw Braedey walking up, arms spread. "Braedey! What's up, man?" Braedey and Sam embrace each other after what felt like forever. Sam lets go and breathed in awe at Braedey. "Look at you, dude! Freakin' older and more fit. Didn't know you were coming in. How's Jasmine?"
"Oh, she's doing great, man. That woman, not a day goes by and she never ceases to amaze me." Braedey answered to Sam.
Sam laughed. "So, how's the whole 'saving the planet' job going?" He asked.
"Ah. You know I can't talk about any of that. Classified and sensitive information." Braedey stated back.
Sam snapped his fingers playfully. "Forgot. Sorry, dude."
"Ladies and gentlemen, I need some lunch time filling done, stat." Braedey and Sam both turn and see a man in his late 40's or early 50's walking up. "Who would like to score some Bruce Brazos points?" Brazos then spotted Braedey and Sam. "Witwicky. The man who makes this company run. Who have we here?"
Sam puts his arm over Braedey's shoulders. "Mr. Brazos, this is my younger cousin, Braedey. Braedey, meet Bruce Brazos, my boss."
Braedey shook Brazos's hand. "Sir, a pleasure."
"Well, pleasure meeting you." Brazos said with a smile. "My, what a handshake."
"Well, listen, uh, I got orders to fill so, Braedey, why not take a look around and gaze a bit." Sam said.
Braedey nodded and decided to go check out the next floor. Once inside the elevator, he notices the man from before that had been staring at him on the previous elevator.
'Great, not this guy again.' Braedey thought to himself.
"I'm still stewing about that binder incident, Jerry." One of the workers in the elevator said to the Asian man.
The Asian man, now known as Jerry, sips his box of milk and then sneered. "May I finish my Shuhua milk, Donny?"
"I don't care about your exotic milk." Donny snapped. "I care about respect!"
Donny and the other people in the elevator then exit on the next floor, leaving Braedey and Jerry in the elevator alone. Jerry fool another sip from his milk before pinning Braedey to the wall. "I know who you are! Martin!"
Braedey abruptly grabbed Jerry and twisted his arm behind his back, making him cry in pain as he slammed him into the wall. "You touch me like that again, I promise to snap this in so many ways you didn't know a bone could break at all."
"Wait wait wait!" Jerry pleaded. The elevator bell dings and the door opens, Braedey pushing Jerry against the wall before getting off. Jerry then ran after him and grabbed his shoulder. "Slow down, tiger. You showed up in the background of six different photos, two continents, with aliens. That was you in Egypt, right? Because you know the aliens."
Braedey grabbed Jerry calmly and pulled him into the bathroom, locking the door behind him, then slamming Jerry against the wall. "First, touch me again and I promise to do what I threatened back in the elevator. Second of all, how do you know who I am? Did Sam tell you?" He demanded.
Jerry quickly shook his head. "This has nothing to do with your cousin, okay? I'm Wang, Deep Wang. Deep Wang. Deep Throat. Watergate? I'm talking code to you!"
Braedey grabbed him by his throat and pinned him to the stall. "Tone it down. What do you mean code?" He hushed him.
Jerry glanced around fearfully. "They watch and listen. I can't go to the government, but you can! You're a soldier! Because it's going down, son! It is Code Pink, as in Floyd! Dark Side! Why do you think no one's been up there since 1972?"
Braedey's eyes widened. "Wait. You're talking about the Decepticons and the moon, aren't you?" He asked softly.
Jerry nodded quickly, then he pulls a file out from a pocket in his jacket, and pushed it against Braedey's chest. "It's my manifesto. They're whacking us out, everyone who knows what's on the dark-" Braedey and Jerry then heard someone enter the bathroom. "You're alien friends are in danger." Jerry whispered. "You know, the good ones. It's up to you."
"Wait. What about you?" Braedey now asked.
Jerry shook his head. "I'm already a dead man. You're not. Go!" He said quickly.
After that exchange, Braedey took the file and heads off back down to Sam's floor.
Sam spotted him. "Hey, Braedey! So how was-" Braedey doesn't let Sam finish as he pulls him into an empty office.
"Quietly." Braedey whispered. He then pulls out the file that Jerry had given him and opens it. Braedey and Sam looks at the file in awe of the various pictures of the moon and info on the 'dark side of the moon'.
"Moon satellites. Russian space program. Space program ends. What is all this?" Sam asked in confusion.
Braedey quickly covers Sam's mouth and puts a finger to his lips, telling him to be silent. "I don't know what any of this is, but whatever happens stays in this room. Clear?" Braedey asked.
Sam nodded as Braedey pulls his hand away from his mouth. Suddenly, they both hear a loud scream and crash from outside and they saw Jerry fall from the building to the pavement.
"Oh God..." Sam breathed out.
Braedey was now stone-faced as he saw Jerry's body motionless on the pavement. He did say he was a dead man. Someone didn't want him to say something, and no doubt it was something regarding the Decepticons and the moon...
Later, Brazos addresses the staff. "Come on, people. Yes, a workmate died, but looking out the window is not going to bring him back. The man was depressed. You can keep watching him, but he's not getting up." Brazos then approaches Sam and Braedey. "Witwicky. I'm spearheading the press. You clean up. Wang is everywhere. He is in the bistro. He's in the bamboo. He's on the balustrade. Box up his personals. Get his name of his parking space."
"You see the sidewalk down there? Man!" Donny laughed, then saw one of the photocopiers. "Hey, when did we get a new copier? This thing is exceedingly Japanese. They never make it easy, do they?"
Suddenly, Donny gets shot back and blown into the wall. Various people scream and scatter as Braedey then saw a large Decepticon-Vulture swooping in.
"SAM! GET DOWN!" Braedey tackled Sam down as the vulture knocked Brazos into the wall.
Braedey and Sam then ran as the Vulture flies after them. Braedey armed his shield, throwing it like Captain America right at the Vulture, the shield smacking into it and making it dodge and fly back, Braedey catching the shield as it ricochets back to him, and he puts it back as part of his arm.
"What is that thing?!" Sam cried as he and Braedey run down the stairs.
The Vulture then tackled Braedey and both he and the Decepticon tumble on down the stairwell tackling and fighting each other. Braedey grabbed and smashes the Vulture's head against the ground, then he kicked it across the room before firing a round at it. Sam helped Braedey get up and they both ran outside.
"Bumblebee!" Braedey whistled. Bee now drove up and both Braedey and Sam pile in. Once they're in, Bee sped off away from the building as Braedey and Sam pant in relief, the two of them now relaxing in their seats.
"Geez, man. What was that?!" Sam demanded from Braedey.
"That?" Braedey gestured with his thumb back at the building. "That is the story of my life. No matter where I go in the world, Decepticons are on my ass, 24/7. Look Sam, it's not safe for you to be in the city. You need to pack and fly out of here ASAP."
"No, I'm not leaving you to-"
"Sam! This isn't up for discussion." Braedey stated firmly. "You need to get out of Washington, and I mean now. Where's your apartment?"
"Several blocks from here." Sam stated.
Braedey turned to the wheel. "Bumblebee, drop Sam off at his apartment, then let's get Jasmine and head back to N.E.S.T. ASAP."
Bee whirred in acknowledgment and he speeds off through traffic to head to Sam's apartment. Things have taken a drastic turn for them all.
