Chapter 4

"How could you do that?! Be glad you didn't get hurt!" In the corridors of the school, Inaho, Usui and myself follow Haruko, who is still lecturing me about what happened on Friday.
"Why is Amaya-senpai mad ?" Usui asks me, whispering.
"It's because of my intervention in the duel on Friday."
"You always do everything to make me worry!" She adds.
"Eh? but it's been three days!"
"Yeah, she didn't stop."
"hmmm... But isn't that proof that she cares about you?"
"Honestly, I don't know..."
"Here we are! It's this room!" Haruko turns back to us, stopping in front of a door with above written... "This is the Maken-ki's office! the others must be here too! you can say hello to them!"
"Yes!" replies Inaho, excited.
"Himegami-senpai is here too?" asks Usui.
"Eh? hem... maybe. I had asked her to co..."
"Then there's no time to waste," cutting Haruko off, he opens the door and steps forward." hi every..."
*DING* a shuriken comes to be planted very close to the face of Usui.
"Ah... a shu... shuriken? Eh?"
"Oh?" Usui falls into my arms, shocked at having seen death too close.
"Ahaha!"
"Are you okay Usui-kun?" asks Haruko.
I raise my head to observe the room... the dressers are filled with manga, there are posters, masks everywhere and even a game console.
"Hmmm? huh... It looked like the manga club room..."
"Um... It's..." Haruko seems to want to explain but someone else intervenes.
"Hey...anything broken? My shuriken slipped out of my hand!"
The person who threw the shuriken is a young girl with light brown skin, gray hair tied in a ponytail on the side and green eyes, but her most remarkable feature is her large chest and she wears a kunoichi outfit. "Actually... I was aiming for the ball upstairs! apologies friend!"
Indeed, there is an aluminum ball hanging from the ceiling, close to the front door.
(This is the worst place to place a target).
"That's incorrect!" Sitting in front of a desk was a slightly pale skinned girl with black hair down to her chin covering the left side of her face with a single strand sticking out, light purple eyes and a red headband. She has a short stature and a slight build. "You would have been better off saying "I'm sorry my friend", right?"
"Oh... I see!"
"Chacha, didn't I tell you not to throw shuriken in this room anymore!?" asks Haruko, furious.
"Then I'll just have to practice my sword!"
"Forbidden too!"
"Chacha, how ballsy is that?" I turn to the familiar voice, which is none other than Kodama, sitting on the windowsill, reading a manga. "Another 30 millimeters, and it would have lodged in his head!"
"Himegami-senpai" calls Usui, resuming his usual cheerfulness.
"Get up!" I ask him, forcing him to get on his feet.
"Still reading a manga... Himegami-san!" Haruko already seems to be at the end of her rope with them. "Hey, Sato-san! How dare you leave your work aside to read a manga here !?"
The little one lowers her eyes and hides her mouth with the manga, starting to shed a tear.
"I-I'm sorry!"
"Hummm... sorry too for getting a little carried away! I mean, you should introduce yourself to our new members! Let's go to the student council office!"
"But Athran-kun and Yamada-kun are about to k...kiss! and then..." begins Sato, but is quickly cut off by Haruko.
"Stop bringing boy's love magazines to school!"
After this... eventful interaction with maken-ki members, we find ourselves in the office of one of the student councils.
I recognize almost all the heads except one. She has purple hair that reaches her neck, two zigzag braids on the sides of her face in addition to two large locks that fall in front of her face and brown eyes.
"Hey... so there are three new members for this year! It's sure to be more fun, I'm super excited!" She welcomes us warmly.
"Welcome" Next to her is the girl with glasses who dragged Haruko to the entrance when we arrived late, and she doesn't seem to be excited by our presence, like last time...
I observe the mimics of the person who welcome us, with a sense of déjà vu.
"I feel like I've seen her before..." I whisper my thoughts.
"She's the little sister of tomika-sensei, your main teacher." Haruko also answers me by whispering.
"This explains it..."
"If you don't mind...I, Amado Yuuka, Student Council Accountant..." I refocus on what she says. "has the extreme kindness to present you the members of maken-ki! This is the president of one of the student councils, Takaki Fuuran-san." She turns to the girl with the red glasses, who seems to have recovered her composure.
"Nice to meet you!"
"Then here comes the vice president, Amaya Haruko-san!"
"Delighted!"
"The secretary, Sato Kimi-san"
"Wel...welcome to all" she says hidden behind her manga.
"Here is our 1st year Madou Shikoubu, Minaya Uruchi-san and our 2nd year member, Shinatsu Azuki-chan."
"Nice to meet you!" 'Senji Emiya is behind Haruko-senpai once again!'
"Yeah, that's me!"
"Here are the members of the Kenkeibu! Both of them are in their second year! Chacha Akaza and Kodama Himegami!"
Chacha waves at us and Kodama doesn't even look at us.
"It's your turn newbies! Humm..."
"I'm Kushiya Inaho, first year! Nice to meet you!"
"Senji Emiya in first year, delighted." (Why is she constantly on my back this one?)
"Also in my first year, I am Usui Kengo! I hope we get along well!"
"Next, here's our counselor!" Amado Yuuka turns to the door, where the nurse from last time enters. "Nijyou Aki!"
"We're going to get along great, right?" she says looking us straight in the eyes.
Usui seems really happy to see her. I can't blame him, this woman is... Paying more attention, I see that she is looking at me. We stand still, looking straight into each other's eyes, as if a connection is being made between us and... I can feel my body heating up... Haruko notices our looks and pulls my ear to get me out of her mesmerizing eyes.
(Yeah... she's really beautiful, it's almost terrifying)
"Haha! It looks like you made a really good impression on her, partner!"
(Ahhh, you're talking about Friday, if a muscular guy is enough for her... I hope she's really not that kind of easy woman...)
"You should already know that Madou Shikkoubu and Kenkeibu have merged to form Maken Kenkei Kikou, so that means we are all in the same group!" Explains Amado Yuuka "Even if we will have different positions, we will be like partners! So to strengthen these new bonds of friendship, I will give you a warm welcome..."
"Warm?" repeats Haruko, still tugging at my ear.
Here we are in the mountains, climbing a long staircase, even after several minutes, we still can't see the end. I look behind us, seeing all the greatness of the Kuoh school, and even the town of Fuyuki.
"I didn't think there was a place like this at the foot of Mount Hamara no Hara." I said, thinking aloud.
"Takeru-sama, hang in there!" encourages Inaho.
(Ah, thanks Inaho, but do I really look that tired? I'm barely sweating).
"I imagine it's hard for her to see on your depressed face." comments Ddraig.
(... Shut up, and I don't have a depressive face, just...)
"I know partner..."
"Are we almost there?" I ask Amado, standing in the lead.
"You can see it there!"
"Smoke?" I hurry and quickly climb the 'last' steps.
"Wah !" Inaho, being the first to arrive, is amazed.
"We have arrived at our destination!" Amado holds out her hand to show the others that we have arrived.
It is a traditional Japanese structure, with a lot of smoke coming from the back.
"A hot spring?"
"Indeed!"
"That cypress scent..."
Inaho and Amado are already in front of the entrance of the hot spring. Usui and the others join us very quickly. We enter and head to the locker room, but before entering, Amado gives Usui and me a bag.
"ah... I almost forgot! Put this on guys! It's a mixed bath!" she tells us with a big smile.
Usui and I could only blush at this statement.
"Eh Eh!?" Usui can't even believe it.
(With that big smile, why do I feel like she's up to something...)
I look in the bag, but nothing special, except a pair of black swim shorts.
We move away from the group to the men's locker room, which is huge, and start to change.
"Woho this is huge! I'm going to witness the most beautiful pairs of breasts in high school with Himegami-senpai!" Usui is completely thrilled.
"Um... But why are you talking about Himegami-sama apart when you are talking about breasts?" I ask innocently.
"It's... it's like that! You shouldn't mix! Himegami-senpai is like a baby, she is small and cute..! and her dark side is sexy too! I heard that some guys have started a fan club about her!"
"If she heard you say that about her..."
"Anyway, back to the original topic, we're going to see the girls in swimsuits! Hohoho..! I hope you don't screw it up this time!"
"I... I don't think I would have anything to do with that."
"Yosh! Let's go to the battlefield! Heaven awaits!"
Finished changing, his towel in his hand, he runs towards the entrance of the hot springs, I follow him nonchalantly.
In the girls' locker room, the atmosphere is more relaxed, so to speak.
"Wah that's wonderful!" exclaims Chacha.
"Is all this really free?" asks Inaho.
"Of course! All facilities in Kuoh are free!" explains Amado.
"It's strange, there's no one else here!" remarks Kodama.
"Hmmm lately, there are some people who have reportedly seen a mysterious figure lurking around!" According to Amado. "Since we're here, we can take care of that!"
"Is that why people stay away from the bath?"
"Yes!"
"Just why do guys have to come with us into the bath? You should know that I have androphobia Yuuka-san!" Complains Takaki Fuuran.
"I'm sorry president! but this is for the sake of the maken-ki welcoming ceremony! Hoho"
"Yuuku, you seem really happy about this!" remarked Kodama.
'My bra is still tight!' As Haruko is changing, she notices that her swimsuit no longer fits.
As she turns to ask Amado for help, she overhears a discussion between... two monsters of the kind.
"Oh?! Aki-sensei, you have really big ones!"
"You too Chacha have a good pair!"
Not wanting to hear more, slightly jealous, she goes to Amado.
"Yuuka-san, I forgot my swimsuit! I just have a towel but it's a little light!"
"Ha, don't worry about that! I knew that was going to happen! So I brought with me lots of different kinds of swimsuits! There's some in v of course!"
At the sight of the various swimsuits... exotic, light, even very light, the girls start to blush.
"Yuu...Yuuka-san, isn't that..." asks Takaki, trembling.
"At the expense of the student council...yes it is! I didn't pay attention hehe!"
In the hot springs, Usui and I admire the scenery, it is very big, with many rocks, big and small, the biggest of which have small waterfalls.
"Wow, this is beautiful!" Usui is surprised.
"Yeah, it's a gorgeous, huge place!" I add, stepping closer and touching the warm, pleasant water.
"By the way, those little burn marks, that's from overuse of your magic circuits right?"
I stop, turn around and look Usui straight in the eye, then sigh.
"Indeed, I had to use my magic circuits often, before, when I was traveling around the world... Keep it to yourself, will you?"
Without having time to answer me, the girls finally join us.
"Sorry for the wait!"
My eyes can only turn towards them, the view is... sublime so to speak...
(Please, Ddraig, cancel... um you know what, don't let that happen.)
"Huhuhu, that's part of being a youth, partner."
(I don't want to look like a big jerk who gets an erection just by looking at girls in swimsuits!)
"All right, partner, have fun with no problem."
(Hum yes thank you)
I turn my attention back to the girls. Inaho is wearing a rather cute swimsuit, a bikini with a little skirt and little ribbon bows. Kodama and Koda are wearing one-piece swimsuits. and the others are wearing normal bikinis, except Aki-sensei who is wearing... a slingshot bikini... Luckily I asked Ddraig to... limit me.
"Wah, what a hot spring!" said Inaho as she arrived.
"Did you know that this place had the most beautiful scenery ever?" Azuki comments.
"Indeed, it's really nice here." I said, looking at the waterfalls.
Usui said nothing, lost in the view before him, with a strange smile. 'Yeah, that's for sure... We have a great view!'
"Hmm?" Takaki puts her glasses back on and watches us, but seems to be focusing on Usui's lower half. "What?! Usui!"
Not understanding, Usui looks at me, then looks at his crotch to see, a slight problem. Luckily I'm far enough away that I don't have to suffer the girls' wrath.
"Kyaaaaa !" The girls throw small wooden basins straight at Usui's face.
After this small event, the girls decided to separate us in 3, they take absolutely all the front which has the most space, Usui is behind, a little tight and I find myself between the two, because I manage to behave correctly and especially to "watch" Usui. But here I am completely immersed in the thermal spring, sharing my sensation with Ddraig, so that he can enjoy it too.
"Yeah..."
"That's right!"
I raise my head slightly, just to observe and listen a little, nothing more.
Inaho is sitting on a rock, small enough to have her feet in the water, Chacha, under the waterfall takes a meditation pose, as in the anime and the rest of the group normally enjoys the hot spring.
"This is the first time I've been to an outdoor hot spring!" Said Inaho.
"It's relaxing, isn't it?" one of the girls says, I can't recognize the voice, being a little too relaxed myself.
"Yes!" answers Inaho.
Continuing to observe, I can see Kodama staring at Haruko who is talking with Uruchi.
"It hasn't changed then!" said Haruko.
"That's right!" replies Uruchi.
Kodama advances towards them... threatening?
"Himegami-san?" Haruko notices her, surprised.
Suddenly, Kodama lifts Haruko's bra, who drops something?
"It's...it's padding! I knew it! They're heavy too!" shouts Kodama.
"Padding?" repeats Uruchi.
Haruko, completely embarrassed, turns her head, her face red with shame.
"Haruko, you bitch! But I see, you wanted even bigger breasts!" Kodama gets angry.
She grabs Haruko and forces her to turn towards her.
"Can't you understand? We the breadboards... Anyway, you must have been jealous of Chacha and Aki when Senji was checking out their breasts!"
"Not at all!" Haruko tries to defend herself, but to no effect.
"Nobody feels sorry for us..." says Kimi.
"It's hard..." adds Uruchi.
"But when they're big, it's embarrassing precisely!" comments Amado.
"No comment..." blushed Furan.
"It's a hindrance for the fights, I guess! Moreover there is no adapted bra!" complains Azuki.
All these comments irritate even more Kodama who throws herself on the breasts of Haruko.
"In that case, if they're not big enough for you, let me make them big for you!"
"Kyaaa!"
"Kodama-san, you are beside yourself every time we talk about breasts!" Amado laughs.
"There is not only Haruko and Chacha! There are those of sensei who are huge too! Can I touch?" asks Kimi.
"Of course!" nodded Aki-sensei without hesitation.
"Okay then!" Kimi walks behind Aki-sensei and grabs her breasts.

Seeing things heating up, I discreetly slip away and sit next to Usui, who is in ecstasy.
"You really surprised me by taking me from behind you know~!"
"It's true they are big, sensei what is your chest size?"
"Ho... H, I, J... which one do you think it is?"
"Ho, ah... and the shapes are so perfect! I envy you!"
"Honestly man, respect, you stayed long enough and left just in time, I can't even be jealous in the face of such courage." Usui congratulates me, even if...

As the battle rages on the other side, Usui turns to the forest ahead, hearing something.

"Hem...uh..." Usui pats my shoulder, and shows me something moving in the bushes.
"This is..."
A bear... A huge bear approaches and when it sees us, it stands up on its two back legs and roars loudly.
"A bear...AAAHHH!" Usui screams in panic.
"Bear..?" The girls have surely heard him.
We get up and move back towards them, which themselves get closer.
"He came from there!" I point.
"Hmm... It's a brown bear, a big one at that!" Furan explains.
"A bear? Isn't that a panda? It was probably watching us!" said Chacha, innocently.
"Now he starts checking us out too!" Kimi is a little more panicked.
"Maybe that was the black silhouette that scared people!" said Haruko.
Azuki and Kodama do not say anything, but they are completely absorbed by the bear.
"Now that we know the cause of the problems... Let's get ready to fight!" Announced the president.
"Yeah!" we all shout, preparing to face the animal.
"Do we capture it alive? Or do we use force to drive him out of here?" asks Haruko, pulling her shinai out of nowhere.
I activate the magic circuits of my left arm, to create a sword.
"Do not use force!"
"She's right! That bear... If we get him mad, things will only get worse!"
The only two people who see this animal as a teddy bear, Kodama and Azuki beg us not to resort to violence.
Hearing this, I change my creation to a bokken and prepare to take the bear head on.
"What should we do then?" asks Haruko, worried about me.
"The only thing to do is not to hurt him, right?" Asks Chacha, detaching a board from the floor.
"But then..." Haruko turns to her, lowering her weapon.
"Even if it's impossible, you have to try! Isn't that right president?" Chacha asks, looking at Furan Takaki.
"Yes... We are the members of Maken-ki!" Concludes the president.
During this time, the bear is only looking at us, Usui and me in particular.
(It's strange, why is he staring at us like that? We're not as appetizing as expected ?)
"No, it's something else." I can hear a certain tone in Ddraig's voice.
(Hmm... What's his problem then?)
"She's a female, partner."
(Ok... but what does it change?)
"Well you emit a powerful aura, which is a seductive factor in the animal kingdom, and especially you are a male. Do you see where I'm going with this?"
(Don't tell me...)
"GRAOOOO !"
Suddenly, the bear goes on the attack and runs towards me.
"It is coming!" Usui falls back, unable to do much.
Seeing the impact coming, I strengthen my bokken, making blue lines of light appear on it, which seems to enrage the beast even more. It is huge, 3 times my size at least, but it is not the first time I face such a situation. I hold my weapon firmly and while backing up, I lightly hit the bear's head, trying to make it understand that I am dangerous.
(These animals are smart, she should get the message after a while!)
"Sounds compromised to me, considering how in love she is!" laughs Ddraig.
(Damn, you're enjoying this ?!)
"Senji! Avoid the board that's about to widen!" Chacha jumps high into the air.
"widen?!" I repeat stupidly, too focused on not dying.
"It happens! Here we go O'scale! Maken Compressor!" A magic glove appears on Chacha's right hand, which has the effect of enlarging the board enormously.
"The board has grown!" warns Usui.
I strike a last one on the nose of the bear, which immobilizes her during some second. I take the opportunity to jump back, and see the end of the huge board placed a few meters away from me. I sprint and jump over it, knowing that the bear is following me.
At the same time Haruko places herself near the board, ready to hit the bear.
"Haruko !" I call to her, worried.
"Leave it to me!"
The bear doesn't even see her, too focused on me, which allows Haruko to trip her, to fall on the end of the board.
"I'll leave the rest to you!" Haruko addresses Chacha, who is on the other side of the board.
She jumps and hits her side, the board, placed on the biggest rock of the hot spring, creating a swinging movement, when hitting, the side of the bear rises up with a blow, sending the animal waltzing.
"Have a good trip!" shouts Chacha.
"A rock... he goes straight into a rock!"
"Kyaa !"
Kodama and Azuki panic.
"I'll take care of it!" reassures Kimi, who takes out a pen, with the ornaments of a maken object. "Maken... Comic Star!"
She writes 'wax effect' in the air, then sends it to the rocks where the bear will crash.
And, instead of ending up like a pancake, the rocks soften, like pillows.
"What?!" I look up, surprised.
"He crashed on the rock though!" Said Usui, his hand over his eyes, trying to observe further.
"Yes... But it looks like he's stumbled on something soft." I add.
"Here is Kimi-san's special ability, thanks to the comic star, his maken! Using her imagination, Kimi-san is able to illustrate special effects from manga by choosing their characteristics to project them into the real world with her maken!" During Amado's explanation, I can see the bear's confusion, then she walks away, still in shock.
"Whereas Chacha's compressive power is able to manipulate the mass and location of inorganic compounds with consummate ease!" Explains the president.
Chacha gives me a V with her fingers, a big smile on her face.
"Whether it is to solve public or private problems, you can say that they are a great team" concludes the president.
"So this is the Maken-ki!" said Usui.
"Indeed!" Amado exclaims. "Well, let us welcome you once again, dear new members! Welcome to Maken-ki!"

"Madam Principal, here is this week's activity report!" Haruko hands documents to Minori, who immediately inspects them.
"Hm...Hmmm..." Minori seems confused.
"Is there a problem?" asks Haruko, while I point out the next place to go.
"Nothing...um, actually, we had just started breeding this bear since the spring for repopulation..." Minori explains. "Ah but you know, Kumahachi doesn't attack humans! She's a female, so she should get along well with the boys...I think!"
"What!? You could have said it earlier! Why do you always have to..."
"I'm so sorry, Vice President Haruko-san!"
I can only watch the scene, with a laughing Ddraig in my head.
(I think... I joined a really special school.)
Hello! bonjour! Thank you for reading this chapter 4 ! I hope you liked it ! So I asked myself two questions while writing this chapter, the first one was: am I really writing it? It doesn't really do much, it's just pure fan-service, but as I was doing the dishes, I thought it would be nice anyway, we all like fan-service right? and then it also allows me to slip in a few things that will be useful later on. And the second one : it would be funny to simulate the volume output. Let me explain: Every 4, 5, 6 chapter is a volume. So I can say that these first 4 chapters are volume 1. Why do this ? well, I wanted to make covers for each volume, but due to lack of time, I didn't have the initiative to do it, unfortunately. But even so, I'm going to do it, so obviously I'm not going to pause the story just for that, too bad it'll be off.
Anyway, as this chapter is coming out, the 5th is almost finished and I'm working on the cover of the 1st volume, and if I ever manage to finish it, I hope you'll like it, but we'll talk about it when the time comes, or never.
