Transformers Beast Warriors
Chapter 3
Bad Guy's & Business
Strongarm:
"Is she going to be, okay?!" I asked. "Of course she is, sweetheart. Area 4 has the best medical experts our kind has ever known." said the doctor. I looked onto the fox girl's unconscious body. She was being contained in a She laid on a metal hospital bed while strapped down with metal cufflinks. "It's a good thing you got her here when you did. Her spark was dangerously close to fading out." said the doctor. I sat there feeling a sigh of relief. Unfortunately, part of me felt bad for bringing her to a N.I.C.D.F station for medical help. "I had to tell them she was part of Prima. They hurt people!" I told myself.
"There you are!" shouted a familiar voice. "Oh dear!" I thought to myself. Sprinting up to me was none other than my caretaker, Blackarachnia. She ran up and gave me a painful hug. "When I didn't see you at the school, I feared the worst!" she said. "Y-Yeah, I was trying to help a classmate that ran away." I explained. She released me from her bear hug, stood straight up, and stared me down. "So, you followed them all the way to Area 6!" she shouted. "I didn't know Area 6 was under fire." I said. I thought back to the deactivated body I saw lying on the ground. Suddenly, my body began shivering. "Strongarm, you're shaking! Blackarachnia stated.
"I…I just wanna go home." I said. "Of course, Sweetheart. I'll have a Vehicon trooper escort you back to Area 3." said Blackarachnia. I wanted to ask if she could escort me personally, but unlike me she doesn't have a vehicle mode. Plus, I knew she would be too busy. I thought back to Fire Convoy, I remembered that he knew my name somehow. When I saw how he fought Leobreaker, I figured he had to have some kind of intense combat training, maybe with the N.I.C.D.F.
"Ms. Blackarachnia, do you think I could meet Fire Convoy one of these days? If it hadn't been for him, I don't think I would have made it out of Area 6 online." I softly asked. Black Arachnia raises her left eyebrow and pulls back her head. "Um, sweetheart, who's Fire Convoy?" she asked.
Seven Earth Days later:
Drift:
I opened the door to the Student Council Meeting Room. When I walked in, the only person in there was Windblade. She was sleeping peacefully at her work desk. I walked over and tapped her on her shoulders. "Mmmm…" she moaned. "Windblade, wake up." I demanded. She lifted her cranium and stretched her arms out. "Mmm, what time is it?" she asked. "It is the end of the three-day work cycle. Ready to go home?" I asked. "Yeah, I guess so. I was going to wait if anyone was going to show up, but I guess everyone is feeling the blues. Any word from Strongarm or Side Burn?" Windblade asked. "I've been informed that Strongarm has been at a N.I.C.D.F Station. She's currently being held under witness protection." I said. "Really? Our Strongarm? Well, at least she's okay. Rattletrap has been staying home these past few days. Poor thing. She's so much smaller and fragile than us techno Cybertronians." she said.
"Yeah, as for Side Burn though, I haven't been able to locate him. I tried getting in touch with his caretaker, but he's disappeared as well." I said. Windblade had a saddened look on her face. "Drift… you always seem to be very knowledgeable about everything that goes on in this city, while I choose to remain ignorant. I do that to protect my mental health, but please Drift… just this once I want to know the truth. Is Side Burn alive, or is he…", I quickly cut her off from frustration. "Like I said, I've been unable to find any info on Side Burn's whereabouts. The biggest clue I have is that he lived in an apartment unit in Area 6. Currently, there are several recovery operations underway in Area 6. I suspect he might have been relocated." I explained, but she still didn't look convinced. "You always give some kind of reasonable explanation when you are lying, but I want to believe that's the case." she said. "Come on, let's go bug Pops. That usually cheers you up." I said. "Okay, I have been meaning to ask him for new stabilizers." she said with a tiny smile on her face. "That's the spirit." I said.
Metalhawk:
"Upload Complete" read my monitor. "Thank you for your assistance once again, Silverbolt. Your flight data will be instrumental in the development of our next wave of Vehicon drones." I praised. Silverbolt appeared on my monitor in real time in his techno organic robot mode. "Well, I am happy to be of service to MasterForce Systems. Though I must confess, I have a few concerns about the combat Vehicons that have recently been developed." said Silverbolt. "Here at MasterForce Industries, we are merely contractors." I replied. "Right, but your most common customer is the N.I.C.D.F. I get that Prima is a big threat to our great city, but the types of weapons your company has been developing as of late have had a devastating impact on our Neo Iacon and its inhabitants. Many of their residents have begun rioting about the use of Vehicon, both in Area 6 and in the common workplace. Non-combat Vehicon's have replaced many jobs that Transformers have performed in the past. As City Major, I must address these issues, for the good of the people." said Silverbolt.
"Oh, and what do you want me to do? Do you want us to just stop producing Vehicons? What about the thousands of employees that work to construct said Vehicons. Where will they go? Who will defend our great city from Prima? Do the citizens want to risk their lives to fight off a bunch of extremists?" I questioned. "That is where compromise comes into play. I am currently working on legislation that will outlaw any and all current production of non-combat Vehicons within Neo Iacon City limits." Silverbolt informed. I stood straight up in my seat and slammed my hands on my desk. "Are you insane?! Forty percent of my MasterForce Industries gross profit comes from non-military products. The stockholders won't accept this. If that Act is passed by the High Council, you'll ruin this company! 'Slam!' The Vehicons, my company has produced, built this empire from the ground up! We've moved mountains, cleared abandoned human cities, buried through the planet's crust to harness the power of Planet Gaia's molten core! Our species aren't the titans we once were anymore! We are smaller and weaker! But Vehicons are mindless, ever working machines, perform free labor and ask for nothing in return! That is the only purpose they serve!" I claimed.
"I apologize if this seems like an act of betrayal. Your Vehicons have done great wonders for Planet Gaia, but the people of Neo Iacon City need a purpose of their own. Without that purpose, they become angry and lost. Prima has enough members to take on the N.I.C.D.F themselves. I am willing to bet everything I hold dear, at least one of those angry citizens has joined Prima. Mayor Hellscream of Tyger Pax is also backing me on this Act as well. I suggest you inform your stockholders before the Act is passed. I wish you luck, Metalhawk." said Silverbolt as the communication feed cut off, leaving Metalhawk in his office alone.
I stood there at my desk. My hands were shaking but my mind was scrambling. "If he thinks I'm going to lose my profits over some crying mud people, then he's got another thing coming! 'Hehehaha!' Silverbolt… you, my friend, have just started a war with the wrong bot." I warned. I opened a computer file containing Silverbolt's flight data. When the file opened, a green wire frame of the Vehicon General, Jetstorm, flew around on screen. "Hello, little Jetstorm. You can thank Master Magmatron for telling me how to find you. If only we could locate the other four Vehicon Generals. Nevertheless, now that I have downloaded you from Silverbolts mind, I will use your specifications to develop the next generation of Vehicon troopers. Then, there will be no army in the Universe that can stop my Vehicons!" I claimed.
I turned around and walked up to my office window and looked down at the City of Neo Iacon. My office stood at the tallest elevation in the entire city. "Magnificent view. My greatest masterpiece. I built this city." I told myself. Suddenly, my office's intercom buzzed. "Metalhawk, sir! You have two visitors in the waiting lobby!" buzzed the intercom. "Two visitors? I see, it must be my lovely daughter and the spawn of Unicron." I thought to myself.
Drift:
"What is taking him so long?" I asked as I tapped my feet. Suddenly, Metalhawk walked around the corner, glistening in gold chrome, blue high heels, and azure, blue arm braces. Following behind him was his bodyguard, Dauros. He was a much taller robot. He had a burgonde paint job and was cladded in dark gray armor. Windblade stood up to greet her caretaker with a kiss on each cheek. "How are you darling?" asked Metalhawk. "Oh Metalhawk, being Student Supreme is such a headache!" whined Windblade. "So what do you think it's like running a multi-billion credit business? It takes hard work, perseverance, and passion. So, turn that frown upside down and learn to love being in charge." said Metalhawk. "Don't love it too much, or it might kill you." I advised. Metalhawk looked at me with a scowl on his face, while Dauros remained silent and vigilant. "Can I have new stabilizers?" asked Windblade. "Of course you can, my dear. You can have anything you want. This world is yours, but you have to promise me something." I spoke. "What's that?" she asked. "Have a better attitude about being Student Supreme." said Metalhawk. "Okay!" responded Windblade.
I stood up from the waiting couch and walked over to Windblade. "Well then sis, if you're done catching up with pops, it's my turn. I'll summon a taxi to take you home." I said. "You know I can just transform and drive myself, right." said Windblade with a smile on her face. "Sweety, we do not drive ourselves; driving is for the help." said Metalhawk. "Fine, I'll take the limo." said Windblade. Windblade walked towards the elevator next to the waiting area. She turned around and waved at the both of us with a smile on her face. We smiled back but stood there with our arms behind our backs. The three of us watched as Windblade walked through the elevator, and as its doors immediately closed behind her. "Don't ever call me 'pops' ever again." demanded Metalhawk. "I'll call you whatever I please." I replied.
About 10 minutes later, we found ourselves in Metalhawk's office, but Dauros was standing guard right outside the office. I walked towards his office window and stared down at the city below. "Look at all the worker ants!" I thought to myself. I turned around to look at Metalhawk's personal computer. He some weird little wireframe flying around. He quickly turned the computer screen off. "What was that on your monitor?" I asked. "It's called 'none of your business'!" he replied. "What disrespect. Surely you know you are talking to the future Predacon Supreme, correct?" I questioned. "The future's not set in stone youngling." Metalhawk replied. "It is if you will it." I said. "E-Navi, please turn the main projector!" ordered Metalhawk. "Affirmative!" replied the E-Navi computer program as the office's ceiling split apart, relieving a tachyon transmitter. The tachyon transmitter is a device capable of interstellar communication. It has four sets of latches on to the ceiling, a lens in the middle to project holograms, and a built-in audio system that can receive and transmit sound. "E-Navi, please conta-" "Wait! Before you contact him, there's is something I require." I interrupted. "Yes…and that is?" asked Metalhawk. I moved up my arm and pointed my hand in his direction. "Kneel before me." I ordered. Metalhawk looked at me with a disbelievable look on his face. "You're joking?" he asked. "I'm as serious as cosmic rust." I replied. "And what if I refuse? Your master can't touch me here." claimed Metalhawk. "Maybe, but that daughter you prize is always within my reach. It would be easy; it wouldn't even have to be me. It could be her limo driver." I stated. "You're a brother to her, Drift! Show some compassion!" pleaded Metalhawk. "Compassion? I'm about as compassionate as those crappy Vehicons you slapped together. Now kneel!" Metalhawk knee before my feet.
"E-Navi, contacted Magmatron immediately!" I ordered as I took my right foot and stepped down on the back of his head. I could feel his rage through my feet. "Are you not used to this? To someone putting their heels on you? Heh. Starting today, that will change. As long as I'm here, Magmatron can always reach you." I claimed.
"Very good, Drift. It seems living among these Maximals has served you well." said a mysterious voice. The projector displayed a hologram of Magmatron in real time. "Master Magmatron." I said as I bowed my head. "Compassion is a Maximal's greatest weakness, even amongst the most treacherous of them." I stated. "And treacherous he is, isn't he? Like, for example, trying to hide a very powerful piece of technology from me. Even after I provided him with blueprints of the original Vehicon's. The blueprints which kickstarted his entire enterprise." said Magmatron. "M-Master Magmatron…If I may-" "Silence! I have not given you permission to speak. I am aware that MasterForce Industries still has the device in its possession? Correct?" asked Magmatron.
Metalhawk's shaking transitioned from rage into terror. "I-I sti-" "Silence! Drift, if he uses his vocal processors without my permission again, I want you to slice his cranium in half." requested Magmatron. "Yes, Master. As for the device, it is currently under N.I.C.D.F's possession. For now anyway." I said. "'Grrr!' I heard of that little incident at the Magma Plant, which was the location where the device was discovered, correct?!" said Magmatron. "Yes, fortunately the media was able to cover it up as a random act of terrorism, and the few workers who knew about the device have been eliminated. Unfortunately, it seems Prima has its eyes set on the device as well." I spoke.
"Prima, the first offspring of a newly organic Cybertron. Their leader…is powerful. He managed to break out of a highly secured detention center using his new freakish powers, recruit many newly born techno organics, and steal a mighty vessel that was equipped with a transwarp drive." explained Magmatron. "The transwarp drive. That was the device found at the magma plant, wasn't it? They must have tried to dispose of it in a nearby lava pit so no one could track its transwarp signal. Fortunately, Prima underestimated the transwarp drive's incredibly durable casing. If you can give me a few cycles, I can pinpoint the exact location of their hideout. The closest lava pit is only 25 miles from the city. I'll lead an army of deadly Vehicon's to their base of operations and eliminate them all." I advised. "No. It's far too late for that. I'm certain their leader has already made preparations for such a scenario." claimed Magmatron. "Hmph! Then I'll counter his counter!" I yelled. "Do not underestimate their leader! This is not a Maximal you're dealing with. That bot…no… that madman conquered all of Cybertron by himself. The entire planet was subjected to his will, and if he has been on Planet Gaia this entire time, his ambitions have only magnified. You will let me and the other Supreme's deal with him. That is final!" ordered Magmatron as the communication was cut. "Wait! Who is he?! Why do you fear him?! Magmatron!" I yelled, but it was no use. I released my foot from Metalhawk's head and walked over towards his desk.
I slammed my hands on the desk in fury. All I could see in my mind was crimson red. "Damn it! I was taught, from the day I laid eyes on you, that I was born into this realm to rule. Now I'm being told I'm not good enough, even after all I've accomplished here, for you! Magmatron…Prima…The other Supreme's…The council of Cybertron…Cybertron…and Planet Gaia itself…You all will soon bow down before me as I will slay the one that is feared by all!" I shouted.
"You'll need a loyal second in command, Master Drift." Metalhawk advised. "Metalhawk! He thinks he can play me. I should split his cranium where he kneels, but he's right. Without Magmatron's support I'm truly powerless at the moment. If I'm going to defeat Prima, I'll need his Vehicon's to do so. Then, once I use your Vehicons to defeat Prima, I'm going to throw you out like trash!" I thought to myself.
I turned and faced Metalhawk. "Rise, Metalhawk!" I ordered. Metalhawk stood straight up with his hands at his side. "From this day forward, you will be my second in command. If you truly wish to be free of Magmatron's grip, you'll do everything I demand of you, without question!" I ordered. "All hail, Master Drift." He chanted. "Very good, now let's begin!" I said.
Skold:
"Keep moving!" ordered Ransack. He shoved me in the back but didn't move an inch, which seemed to irritate him further. Ransack, Crumplezone, Hotshot, Landmine, Lugnutz and I were walking in a dark, damp, and rusty tunnel. "Where are you taking me?" I asked. "To see The Oracle!" said an excited Crumplezone. We walked into a large shipyard filled with Prima members. Many ships were parked at the shipyard. The ships were large and round. One of the ships had "K-27" decaled on the side of it. They seemed to have heavy battle damage, but they didn't look like Cybertronian vessels.
"Those ships, they look so alien!" I stated. "Hey! Keep it moving!" ordered Ransack. We walked around the shipyard and entered a large passageway. At the end of the passageway was a large metal door. My kidnappers and I approached the large metal door, but there was something wrong.
Something was terribly wrong. I became cold, as if all the heat and my body went out all at once. My legs became weak, my optics became heavy, my mind became foggy, and my memories began to fade. "Who are these people? Who am I? Where am I?" I thought to myself. The mysterious bots opened a large metal door. The door opened to a pitch-black room. "Enter." said a voice. I did as the voice instructed and entered the dark room.
I walked into the dark room, while the others remained outside. As I got further into the room the door shut behind me. I continued walking until I reached a staircase. My left felt so weak, and my arms gave out completely. I looked down at my arms and had a sudden realization of what had happened to me. Even though my diagnostics were showing nothing was wrong with me, I knew I had died. "I died. I died back when I laid eyes on that door. What happened to me? Who did this to me? My spark…my spark is gone. I'm so cold…" I thought to myself.
"Ascend." said the voice. I walked up the steps. I began to ponder my final moments, "What am I doing? I should run away, but I'm not. Why? Because nothing would change. My spark has perished. It left my body moments ago, and so, I must perish as well. The giant before me. He's so large, so scary, but so warm…"
Dirtboss:
"Hehehaha! Another lamb slaughtered! 'Snort!' Praise be The Oracle!" I chanted. "Praise be The Oracle!" chanted the other Beast Warriors. "Look upon the lamb, my disciples. Her body was strong and dark, but her spark was warm and pure. I shall accept this sacrifice as restitution, for your failures at Neo Iacon City." said The Oracle. I looked towards The Oracle. The Oracle's body was magnificent as it was grand. His giant blue arms and chest, his mighty orange hands, his perfect square face. "Your will is Absolute!" I praised.
The Oracle looked at his hands and grinned.
"Absolute. The power I used to absorb her spark. She had perished before she realized what had happened, and when she finally reached the point in time in which I traveled to, the universe corrected itself. So, her only choice was to perish. That is the power of Absolute. Yesss. By chronologically displaced myself fifteen seconds into the future, where I'm unable to feel, unable to age, unable to touch or be touched, unable to listen or to be heard. All I can do is absorb life energy using the power of the Original Oracle. 'Hmph!' Had it not been for that power, or the Transmetal Two body of Optimus Primal, I would have perished when I fell into Cybertron's core." stated The Oracle.
"'Snort!' Great Oracle, Leobreaker has been captured by the Neo Iacon Defense Force, along with the transwarp drive! What shall we do now?!" I questioned. "We may not have the strength to take on the Defense Force, but do not fear. I have the power of Absolute. However, I need more lambs. More sparks. Their sacrifice will allow my power to grow." The Oracle spoke. "Then I will give you more sparks! Please, come with me 'Snort!' and I'll deliver all the sparks you can desire!" I promised. "Hmmm. A bold promise, but unfortunately there is another obstacle that remains. Another power that stands next to the power of Absolute. The Matrix of Leadership! I sensed its power shortly after the fighting spread to Area 6. According to Snarl, the bearer of the Matrix is a crimson red Maximal that commands fire." The Oracle stated. "Then allow me to get rid of the unworthy, O' Great Oracle!" I pleaded as I raised my arms to praise he. "No. Your talents are for a more important assignment. But I believe we have a Beast Warrior among us who is perfectly suited to deal with this new fighter." claimed the Oracle. Suddenly, a golden scaled warrior with black stripes jumped from his seat and landed on the stage. He then kneeled at The Oracle's feet. "O' Great Oracle! Your wisdom knows no bounds. I, Crosswise, will deliver the sparks you require, drag the crimson demon to the abyss below, and deliver your gospel to the Matrix itself with my very spear! 'Gurgle!'!" claimed Crosswise. "Good, let us begin." said The Oracle.
