This is quite the experimental drabble. You know how Luxa's parents' deaths were predicted by a prophecy? Yeah, I took that and ran with it. I can't help it, I love poetry. I definitely took some creative liberties, though. No, the "silver and gold" bit doesn't reference an actual coin, just take it as Sandwich being Sandwich.
Prophecy of the Coin
When royal fights royal, who takes the crown?
When greed fights greed, who will denounce?
A coin tossed about!
Heads or tails, silver or gold?
Gnawers prowl in town
Vile villains, stand you down!
And whirled around the silver king
To meet Regalia's golden sting
And claws met sword, side met side
Rats clamored, children cried
The coin on its edge, balancing nigh!
Silver, will you yield?
The children bleed in the field!
Gold, will you break?
You flooded them in hate!
And claws met sword, side met side
Rats clamored, children cried
The coin on its edge, balancing nigh!
Who will die?
May side slay side?
Wait! the queen has arrived!
Left in palace the child
She has come to fight!
Silver flies
Gold cries
And claws met sword, side met side
Rats clamored, children cried
The coin on its edge, balancing nigh!
When royal fights royal, who takes the crown?
When greed fights greed, who will denounce?
A coin tossed about!
Heads or tails, silver or gold?
When queen bleeds, so does king
Break his spirit, break his ring
Silver takes the crown
