The next morning...

Since it was a weekend the next day, Midoriya sat in the classroom going over some pages that Marinette had written down. He noticed how weird she was acting while she was making some potions. She looked really nervous about something, and he couldn't understand what it was. He thought maybe it was because of Chrysalis's plan.

But the more he watched her, the more he noticed how freaked out she was when Adrien showed up. Once he left to go the restroom, Midoriya leaned in closer.

"Are you okay, Marinette?" Midoriya asked.

"What? Oh, umm... Yeah. I-I'm okay," Marinette said to him, "I'm alright. Just... a little nervous about later today."

She dropped an ingredient into the bowl of water, watching it sizzle. Midoriya more curious, as did a few others in the room. Fortunately, Jirou wasn't in the room and was helping Mr. Aizawa was something.

"What're you doing later today?" Midoriya asked her.

Marinette's face turned a little red as she stopped what she was doing for a moment. Alya noticed this, and she had a feeling she knew what it was.

"I-I'm kind of going... on a date... with Adrien..." Marinette said to him.

There were only a few classmates in the room, but they still all turned their attention to her. Luckily, Chloe had stayed home and wasn't there to comment. But Ashido was there, and she was jumping for joy at this.

"Really?! That's so awesome!" Ashido cried out, "I mean, I know Jirou and Adrien just broke up, but still!"

"Yeah. I just asked him yesterday," Marinette said to them, "I mean, it is Valentine's Day. I thought I might as well. Are any of you planning anything special?"

Midoriya stiffened up, realizing he hadn't completely forgotten about the Valentine's Day present he got for Uraraka. Since Uraraka wasn't there at the moment, he quickly got up and grabbed his backpack. Marinette watched him with a confused look, and he pulled out a box. He opened it, and the box of chocolates were all melted.

Midoriya frowned at the chocolates, really upset that he had forgotten all about it.

"Aww! You got Uraraka a box of chocolates!" Ashido cried out, "That's so cute!"

"Yeah, but they are all melted. I can't give these to her," Midoriya said to her, "What am I going to do? I don't have any plans for Valentine's Day."

Marinette and Alya thought for a moment, and then thought of something really romantic. It sounded cheesy in their head, but they both knew Uraraka would love it considering they are leaving soon.

"You two should have a romantic picnic right on the Effiel Tower at night. It's suppose to be really clear out tonight," Marinette said to him, "I could totally get you privacy as Ladybug."

Midoriya felt a little warm thinking about a date like that with Uraraka.

"That sounds something you do when you're going to propose to someone," Midoriya thought.

He looked at Alya and Marinette, realizing that this was probably the last time he'll be able to go on a date with Uraraka in their Paris. He was a little upset by that, but he smiled at his friends.

"Yeah. That sounds great," Midoriya said to Marinette, "I'll do it."

"Aww! This is so romantic!" Ashido cried out, "I wish I had a boyfriend."

They all laughed at Ashido, causing her to pout at them. Midoriya then looked around and noticed Kirishima was still here, but not Bakugo.

"Hey, Kirishima. Where's Kacchan?" Midoriya asked him.

"I don't know," Kirishima shrugged, "He said he needed some air. Probably just for a walk."

Midoriya was still upset about Bakugo possibly staying in Paris. He really wanted to get him to come with all of them back home, but there wasn't much he could do or say.

He just wished he could bring Bakugo home along with everyone else.

In the streets of Paris...

Bakugo walked along the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets. All he wanted to do was to get some fresh air since he'd been in the classroom for a long time. All he could think about was whether or not to stay here.

In their Paris.

"It feels more like our Paris to me," Bakugo thought.

Bakugo kept kicking a pebble across the sidewalk as he kept walking. He just didn't see any reason as to why he should leave. Sure, he wanted to become the number one hero, but he started to notice how crazy that was with a lot more heroes in his Japan.

With less heroes in their Paris, he would have a better shot at it. He could actually get what he wanted all along.

Images of Midoriya, Uraraka and Kirishima kept popping up in his head. He stopped in his tracks when he remembered what Uraraka said to him what felt like a long time ago.

"At least take this back. Maybe it can be something that will remind you of what you left behind."

He took out the AllMight trading card out of his pocket, remembering that day. Uraraka looked really fierce and would've been ready to pin him down.

"You should know that everyone back home sees you as a friend and classmate."

Bakugo wanted to be mad at her, but he somehow couldn't find it in him to be angry. He looked up and realized he had walked by André Le Grand Paris Hotel. He let out a smirk and shoved the card back in his pocket. He entered the hotel, spotting the Mayor right away.

"Katsuki! What a pleasure it is to finally see you again!" The Mayor greeted with so much enthusiasm.

It felt so weird for him to be back here. He hadn't been here since they were checked in to stay there for the first time. It felt like it had been so long since he'd been here.

"Umm... Hey Mayor," Bakugo said back, "I heard that you have a restaurant here in the hotel."

The Mayor's eyes sparkled as he ran around the desk and escorted him to the restaurant. Bakugo just let him talk about the restaurant as he looked around for someone. He didn't see Chloe anywhere at school, so he thought she might be home. He thought it was pretty crazy that she lived in a hotel in the first place.

Once they entered the restaurant, he was surprised to see it be a lot fancier than he thought it would be. The one thing though is that he noticed how weird it was that the restaurant had heart shaped pink and red balloons everywhere. There were even candles with roses in the middle of the tables.

Then he spotted Chloe sitting at a table with Zoe. She spotted him right away, and he stiffened up.

The Mayor seemed to notice, and he smiled from ear to ear.

"Oh, you know my daughter? That's right! You two have met," The Mayor said to him, "Why don't you go seat yourself, and I'll grab some menus."

Bakugo's cheeks turned red as he felt the need to run out of the restaurant. He stepped towards her as his curiosity for spicy food got the best of him. Once she got up, something about her looked less annoying and more beautiful. Her hair was still in a braid just like the last time he saw her.

"Kat-Katsuki! You came..." Chloe said, looking a little flustered, "I thought you weren't going to make it."

"Well, I was just going for a walk and thought I might as well try those spicy dishes that you mentioned," Bakugo said, already feeling a little hot.

Zoe watched them interacting with each other and smiled at them. She got up to give them some space, but Chloe pulled her away from Bakugo for a moment. Bakugo sat down at the table and waited for the menu.

He glanced at Chloe, who looked really nervous. After she gave him a box of chocolates before Valentine's Day, he knew she kind of liked him. Especially after Class 1-A pointed it out. He tried to ignore it, but ever since then, he noticed things about her that were pretty cute.

She became less annoying and obnoxious and more flustered and beautiful. The way she pouted her lips made her even cuter. Not only that, but she was also Queen Bee.

For a moment, Bakugo realized something as Chloe started to walk back over to him.

It was Valentine's Day.

He had come here on Valentine's Day.

To see Chloe.

"Oh crap, crap crap! Why did I do this?!" Bakugo thought out loud.

"Sorry about that," Chloe said to him, "Zoe just wanted to sit somewhere else."

Bakugo felt so tense in his seat that Chloe noticed right away. Then the Mayor walked up to them with menus in his hands and handed them to each other.

"The special today is Mapo Tofu," The Mayor said, "It is made by the one and only Wang Cheng."

Bakugo snapped out of it when he mentioned Mapo Tofu. Not only that, he wondered if Wang Cheng was a relative to Marinette. They both ordered water, and the Mayor walked off, leaving him with Chloe. He noticed that she didn't even look at the menu. Then he realized that she probably orders here all the time.

"Is Wang Cheng a relative to Marinette?" Bakugo asked her as he looked at the menu.

"He is, actually. He's her uncle. Wang's made dishes here before. We actually had a World's Greatest Chef Contest here before. I was actually a judge for the contest, but, umm..." Chloe trailed off.

Bakugo realized she was a little upset about something that happened that day. He could tell whatever it was, it bothered her a little.

"I might've sabotaged his soup, and it caused him to get akumatized... I realize now it was really stupid of me to do that. I really didn't like Marinette back then. I don't know why, but I just felt the need to sabotage the contest."

Bakugo was surprised to see her so upfront about it. He had never seen her just talk about something like this, at least, not since she apologized to Midoriya.

"Yeah. I could see you doing that," Bakugo said.

Chloe slumped in her seat, worried that she ruined the date.

"But now, definitely not. You seemed to know what you're doing a lot more now. It seems becoming friends with Deku has made you realize some things. Trust me, I've been through that before. I was the first one to find out about One for All and had to keep it a secret for a while. After that, things just started to settle down a little between us."

Chloe's eyes sparkled when she realized he'd never talked like this to her before. She was surprised to see him talk about these sort of things with someone like her. Something about it, made her cheeks blemish a little.

"Do you know what you'd like?" The Mayor asked them with some water in glass cups.

"I'll have the Mapo Tofu," Bakugo said to him.

"Umm... Actually, I'll try the Mapo Tofu as well," Chloe said back as she collected the menus.

"I thought you didn't like spicy--"

"Dad, please. Just get us the Mapo Tofu," Chloe interrupted as she gave him the menus.

The Mayor accepted them and ran off. Chloe felt her cheeks warm up once again and sat down. Then Bakugo laughed at her, which made her blemish even more.

"What's so funny?" Chloe asked him.

"You telling your old man to do whatever you want. It's just too good," Bakugo laughed.

"Well, I'm trying not to do it as much since I'm Queen Bee again. I shouldn't treat him like that, he is my dad after all," Chloe said as her blushing started to settle down.

"Wow, you really are different from when we first met you," Bakugo said to her.

After a few minutes of silence, Bakugo started to fidget in his seat. He even started to practice with his quirk in the palm of his hand. Chloe couldn't help but watch him play with his quirk. It looked like sparklers.

"You know, your quirk is pretty cool," Chloe said to him, "I've never seen a superpower like that before. Does it hurt?"

"Yeah, at times. If I use it too much for an extended period of time, my arms and shoulders hurt a lot," Bakugo explained to her, "I actually hurt them a lot when I fought AllMight during hero training. Me and Deku had to fight him to pass the test."

"Oh yeah. I've heard of him," Chloe said back, "You guys mentioned him being the Symbol of Peace and number one hero back in your Japan. He must be pretty strong."

"Yeah... he was..."

Chloe could tell something bothered him when it came to AllMight. She really didn't want to ask if it was too much for him.

"He's kind of... retired now... I was actually there when he had to fight a villain. He used up all of his strength to defeat him and so he had to retire."

Bakugo felt her touch his hand that was now on the table. He looked up to see her smile at him. It actually looked genuine, like she cared about whatever he was going through.

"Alright, here are your dishes," The Mayor said, "Two Mapo Tofu. Chloe, would you like some more water to go with that?"

Bakugo chuckled under his breath, and Chloe gave him a dirty glare.

"Dad, I'll be fine," Chloe said to him, "Thank you."

The Mayor walked off as Bakugo got ready to try some. Just looking at it made his stomach growl. He hadn't had food like this in a long time. He took a spoon full of it and tried it. His mouth watered the moment he bit into it. It was spicy, but the taste was better than he expected. He ate more, really satisfied with how it turned out.

Then he noticed Chloe hadn't eaten hers yet. She was watching him try it.

"Is it spicy?" Chloe asked him a little nervously.

Bakugo gave her a smirk.

"It's not that spicy," Bakugo said to her, "It's really good though."

Chloe looked down at her dish, and her mouth watered. She took a big spoonful, almost making Bakugo spit out his food. She ate the whole spoonful. Her face turned bright red instantly as she chewed on it some more. The moment she swallowed it, she waved her hand over her mouth and grabbed her water. She gulped it down, hoping that would help.

"That's just going to make it worse," Bakugo said to her.

He felt himself laugh at how ridiculous this was. Chloe looked mad, but more in a teasing sort of way.

"Katsuki! You like that?" Chloe said out loud, "That's so spicy!"

"Yeah. I could eat all of this," Bakugo said to her as he ate the biggest spoonful she'd ever seen.

He didn't even flinch as his cheeks turned a little red. She was speechless that he didn't even reach for the water, not even once. She looked down at hers and tried another bite. It was still very spicy.

"It is good, once you get past the spicy part," Chloe said to him, "But I don't think I could eat all of this. I'd throw up. You can have some of it if you want."

Bakugo had already finished his and took a scoop of hers. She still couldn't get over it.

Once they were done with their dishes, the Mayor came back to grab them.

"Would you like some dessert?" The Mayor asked them.

Bakugo had skimmed through the menu and remembered one thing in particular.

"I'll have a chocolate parfait," Bakugo said to him.

Chloe was shocked to see that he wanted a dessert. He ate almost both dishes.

"Umm... I'm actually a little full," Chloe said to him.

The Mayor left their table, leaving them two alone again.

"I thought you didn't like sweets," Chloe said to him.

"No, but I don't mind staying a little longer," Bakugo said to her, "It's not like I have to be anywhere right now."

Chloe felt herself turn red a little, but it wasn't from the Mapo Tofu this time around. Once the dessert came around, Chloe could feel her stomach growl a little. Bakugo took a scoop and tried it. It was pretty rich, but he found it surprisingly good. He felt weird eating dessert by himself and pushed it closer to Chloe. She smiled and ate it with him.

They stayed there for a while longer, just talking about school and hero training. Bakugo even felt himself laughing at some of the things Chloe got herself into with Ladybug and Cat Noir. He hadn't laughed like that ever. He felt like he was finally starting to get comfortable at the restaurant. Even Chloe felt like she was enjoying herself around him.

After they finished their dessert, the Mayor came by to pick up the glass cup. Bakugo reached for his wallet, but the Mayor stopped him for a moment.

"Don't worry about the bill. It's on the house," The Mayor said to him, "You've done a lot for us here. Think of it as a Valentine's Day present for helping out Paris."

Bakugo looked at him and then back at Chloe who was smiling at him. He smirked and put his wallet away.

"Whatever you want to do is fine by me," Bakugo said to him, "I should head back to the school. Everyone's probably wondering where the hell I am."

"I'll go with you," Chloe said, a little flustered.

Chloe walked alongside him while Bakugo had his hands stuffed in his pockets. They were quiet the whole way down. Bakugo didn't say a word to her while they headed out of the hotel. She hoped that he had fun, but she couldn't tell. He wasn't very easy to read.

Once they exited the hotel, Chloe stood there awkwardly as Bakugo waited for her to say something. He could tell she wanted to tell him something before he left, so he waited for her.

"Umm... I had fun," Chloe said to him, "I'm glad you came."

Bakugo felt a little uncomfortable just standing there looking at her. Surprisingly though, he actually enjoyed it as well.

"I don't mind hanging out with you," Bakugo mumbled to her, "The Mapo Tofu was really good. And... also..."

Chloe waited so intensely to see what he was about to say to her.

"You're surprisingly easy to talk to."

Chloe felt like her heart had skipped a beat. She felt like hugging him and giving him a big kiss. Instead, she leaned in and gave him a kiss on the cheek. She smiled at him and ran into the hotel. Bakugo was left there feeling her kiss on his cheek. He reached up to touch it, realizing he was blushing.

He turned to walk towards the school and all he could think about was Chloe. She actually wanted to hang out with him. He had Kirishima and Uraraka but nothing like this. He'd never had someone that liked him in this way before. He remembered laughing with her and felt himself smiling.

He felt like he was home.

He felt the AllMight trading card in his pocket and pulled it out once more. After staring at it for a good while, he threw it in the trash next to him.

He left the trading card behind as he headed back to the school.

Another amazing chapter!

This was so much fun to write! I hope you guys like the little references here and there! This chapter was more about Bakugo and him possibly leaving Japan. Not only that, he went on a date with Chloe! I didn't think I'd like them together as much as I did, but I actually don't mind it. When Chloe isn't obnoxious, she's actually very pretty and a nice person like in Season 2. I really wanted to bring that back!

I do ship Kirishima and Bakugo, but I just wanted to try something different with a book like this one! Bakugo threw away the trading card! Oh no!

Next date: Marinette and Adrien's! Chapter 100 coming up!

More to come soon!
