After helping Sora from his earlier awkward experience, Kairi regained her composure. She and the others sat back down on the couch.

Luz: Seriously, what did you all see?

Kairi: Trust me...you don't wanna know. *thinking* Though, I have some choice of words for Eda.

The other teens looked at one another, then shrugged.

Kairi: *sigh* OK. Next up, Willow.

Willow: Me?

Kairi: Mmhm. I know you're fond of plants and workout routines and that you're quite strong.

Willow: Strong?

Kairi: Based on what I got from Sora, your plant magic was incredible when you first met. Oh, and in a physical sense, considering that you beat him in arm wrestling every single time.

Willow giggled as the other flat-out laughed.

Luz: That is so true.

Gus: But, let's be fair here, out of all of us...

Amity: Sora is the closest of us all to beating Willow.

Kairi giggled as she suddenly remembered all those times that Sora and Riku competed with each other to a standstill back on Destiny Islands.

Kairi: I'd like to know more about you, Willow.

Willow: Oh, well. Let's see. You already know I like plants. In fact, plant magic has been my favorite thing ever since I was a little girl. But...in the beginning...I wasn't any good at magic at all.

Aside from Kairi, all slightly lowered their heads in sympathy for Willow. Amity internally winced at those words; she knew all too well what Willow meant by that. Kairi, on the other hand, became confused.

Kairi: What do you mean by that?

Willow: Well...

[cut to the playground]

With King on his shoulder, Sora walks past the front gates and into the playground.

Sora: Alright, King, we're here. And remember...

King: Yeah, yeah. Don't ACTUALLY hurt the adversaries.

Sora: Good. Now, have fun. I'll be at the bench if you need me.

Sora went ahead and sat down on the bench as King went off to the slide. After Sora sat, he pulled out his Gummiphone and decided to look for any updates from his friends. The only thing he found was Axel taking a pic of Roxas beating up Seifer at the Bistro. Apparently, the bully of Twilight Town tried to hit on a French woman with short brown hair styled in a bob cut. Not only did Seifer believe the woman was around his age but also unknowingly did so in front of her husband who has red curly hair. Naturally, when he didn't take the hint, Roxas stepped in and delivered some much-needed diplomacy. After that, Seifer was permanently banned from the Bistro. Sora sighed as he shook his head.

Sora: That guy never learns.

Sora then noticed King doing his usual royal routine on top of the slide. Finding it adorable, he stood and faced his phone to take a selfie of him and King. Just as he was going to do it, a familiar green-haired duo jumped in at the last second and put up a funny face while waving their arms around.

Green-Haired Duo: BLEEEEHHHH!

Sora was taken back a bit as he snapped the picture. He chuckled as he recognized the duo and immediately turned around with a smile.

Sora: Edric! Emira!

Of course, it was none other than the dynamic duo of the Blight family, Edric and Emira.

Edric/Emira: Hey, little bro!

Sora: What's up, guys?

Edric: Not much. We were just walking around to get some fresh air.

Emira: Translation: Since school is canceled for the week, our parents made us go out to avoid laziness. We did whatever came into mind until we saw you a little while ago.

Edric: Good thing, too. We were getting bored.

Sora: Glad to run into you guys, too.

Emira: So, what are you doing here?

Sora: Oh, I'm watching over King over there.

The twins look to where Sora points to see King trying to command the other kids.

Emira: Awww, that's adowable.

Edric: Sorta reminds me of Mittens back in the day.

Sora: Really?

Edric: Oh, yeah. When she was little, she would always act like she was "Queen of the Playground."

Emira: It took us a while to get her to "surrender" when we had to leave.

Sora: *laughs* Sounded like a fun time.

Edric/Emira: Yeah.

That's when Sora remembered a thought that bugged him for a long while.

Sora: By the way.

Edric/Emira: Hm?

Sora: I was wondering if you could tell me more about Amity's past, back when Willow and she were best friends.

The Blight twins internally winced at Sora's request, as they knew too well all that had happened between them when they were younger. But they decided to oblige him. And so, they all sat on the bench together.

Edric: First off, how much do you know so far?

Sora: Well, they used to be inseparable. Amity was very into her magic skills, while Willow...

Willow: I am what you call a late bloomer. My magical powers developed later than everyone else's, and because of that, I fell so far behind that many people gave me a hard time.

Kairi: Oh...

Amity lowered her head, remembering all too well her involvement in Willow's ordeal.

Amity: ...And I was a part of that.

The others turned to see Amity, and Luz immediately went in and held her.

Kairi: Yes. I remember Sora's memories when you first met at Hexside and what happened in his heart and mind.

Amity: ...And I let others do the same. I wanted to stand by Willow all those times. But I allowed my heart to be too weak. *clenched her pants* All because...

Sora: Amity was too scared to...talk back to your mom.

The Blight twins winced even more. That was the confirmation they needed to know that Sora knew a lot more than they thought.

Edric: It's true.

Sora: And based on what Willow, Amity, and Luz told me, your mom forced Amity to kick Willow out of her birthday party all because of Willow's magic power level at the time.

Emira: That's also true. Ed and I were there, and we saw the whole thing—even before what happened when our parents argued about it.

Sora: Argued? Why? What happened?

Amity: My mom disapproved of my friendship with Willow. She kept on saying that Blight is only associated with the strongest witchlings in our society and threatened to keep Willow out of Hexside if I didn't cut her out of my life. Of course, that's no excuse for what I've done. I just wish I was as strong back then as I am now.

The others looked at her with sadness in their eyes. Kairi was really saddened to hear this. The idea of a small child being forced by her parents to get rid of a friend they held dear was appalling to her. That was when she had a sudden thought.

Kairi: You said your mom...what about your dad?

Amity: My dad...He was on my side through everything. He did not agree with my mom's views on how our family should be. When my mom tried to get me to get rid of Willow, my dad argued against her, saying that I should get to decide on who to invite and who I choose as my friends.

Sora: For real?

Edric: Yeah. Dad's always been the cool one for us.

Emira: Every time they argue about how our family should be or what paths we, as kids, could choose in our lives. But most of the time, mom always wins and gets her way.

Sora: Just...wow.

Emira: I know.

Edric: When we saw Willow running away in tears, we saw Amity doing the same thing upstairs in her room, and we did our best to comfort her.

Emira: Obviously, we thought our mom's actions were crummy, but there was nothing we could've done.

Edric: We'd even offer to cover for Amity so that she could try to make peace with Willow and keep their friendship a secret from our mom, but that didn't work.

Sora: Why? That'd seem like a good idea to me.

Emira: You'd think, but Amity was too afraid to even THINK about doing that. Our mom really messed up her mind.

Sora looked down with a frown as he clenched his fists.

Luz remained beside Amity to comfort her as the others watched in sympathy. Willow then got up and made her way to Amity.

Willow: Amity...

Amity kept her head lowered.

Willow: Look at me.

Amity then rose her head to do so.

Willow: Yes. You did falter. But not anymore. I can't deny that what happened between us didn't hurt. But ever since I learned the truth about it being your mom's doing, ever since the day you promised you'd change, I saw it through and through that you held true to your word and really have changed. You saved me in the 1000 Heartless battle memory, you cut ties with Boscha and her gang, you got away from the identity that your mom wanted for you by your hair, you supported me during my duel with Boscha, and even fought by my side and made to have my back during the raid to rescue Kairi. But most importantly, you've shown me that the girl...the best friend I had when I was a kid...the best friend I had hoped to see again...was still there within you. And I've never been happier to have you back in my life.

Amity: Willow...

Willow then took Amity's hands.

Willow: In fact...I...never got the chance to say this...but...I've already forgiven you a while ago. So, please do not be sad anymore. From now on, like Sora once said...smile and try to be happy.

Amity got teary-eyed as she quickly hugged Willow.

Amity: Thank you.

Willow was caught off guard a bit but happily returned the hug as the others watched with smiles. Willow then let go as she and Amity remained in eye contact.

Willow: You're not the only one who has changed, though. I did, too. We all have.

Luz: Although you changed the most, Willow.

Willow: Huh?

Luz: Girl, you look so "warrior" now. I mean, you're almost built like a brick house.

Amity: Actually, I have noticed that as well.

Gus: Same here.

Willow: Really?

Willow walks over to a mirror to see her reflection and is stunned to see her current appearance.

Willow: Huh...I guess I have.

Amity: In the years I've known you, you were always...a little...

Willow: Pudgy?

Amity: Umm—

Willow: It's OK. You can say it. Sora said it, and I wasn't mad.

Kairi: Say what?

Willow: Yeah. Since I got my Keyblade and started training with him, he had talked to me about that when I told him that I would always do workout routines early in the morning. He said that while exercising is great, it's also helpful to maintain a well-balanced, healthy diet. So, he offered to make me foods designed as such and gave me some recipes for my dads to make. And it looks like it really paid off.

Willow's last words really showed. When all their journeys began, Willow was rather pudgy. But thanks to Sora's help, She has lost an incredible amount of weight over time. Willow even began flexing her arms to show she had acquired some muscle. She turned to her sides to see her waistline and neck, which were much slimmer than before.

Willow: In fact, everything I am now is all thanks to Sora .*lowers her head with a smile* Meeting him was one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

Luz: *giggles* I'm sure we all feel the same way.

The others nodded in agreement.

Willow: He taught me courage, gave me more reasons to smile, and saved me from my own inner turmoil.

Kairi: That's what he does best; helping.

Willow: Aside from that, he's not just a hero to me. He's a great friend. We gardened together, studied, played games, and danced together.

Willow began to sweat nervously.
