Kairi, being smug, was still questioning Willow about Sora's dance skills from that night of Grom.
Willow: OK, yes! He was an excellent dancer!
Kairi: *giggle* See, that wasn't so hard, was it?
Willow squirms.
Kairi: Oh, relax. I'm just messing with you.
Willow: I know.
Kairi: I already know the full story. You two went together to get the other girls off his back. For that, you have my thanks.
Willow: You're welcome. Also, there was one other reason.
Kairi: What's that?
Willow: I...never went to Grom before in the years I've been at Hexside. I've always wanted to go... So, going with Sora kinda fulfilled that wish.
Luz: Did I hear that right? You've never gone?
Willow: Remember, I was not well-liked because my magic power was weak in the past. So, no guy ever wanted to go with me. Every time Grom came up, I just...went home and tended to my plants.
The others looked sad by that.
Kairi: What? Someone as nice and sweet as you never went to Grom? Ugh. I swear, those boys clearly missed out by ignoring you.
Willow: That's nice of you to say. And for what it's worth, no doubt when you two dance, he'll make it as awesome and romantic as possible.
Kairi: Of course. He's always been like that. Willing to go the extra mile just to make someone happy.
Amity: Of that, I can wholeheartedly agree.

The others turned to Amity.
Kairi: Oh yeah. Sora was quite determined to connect with you, right?
Amity: He was. And so was Luz here.
Luz giggles.
Amity: You and Sora really were determined. Every time I brush them off after the..."abomination" incident...
Luz and Willow chuckled sheepishly.
Amity: Luz really tried to be my friend, and Sora really tried to nudge me in the right direction. And you know what, I'm glad they did.
Luz: Aww!
Luz hugged Amity gently yet firmly and nuzzled her face, causing her to blush.
Luz: Amity really does a sweet center.
Amity: Luz, please.
Gus: And there they go again.
Willow giggles.
Kairi: Oh yeah... If I recall correctly, Luz asked Amity out, right?
Luz and Amity widened their eyes and sheepishly separated.
Luz: Y-yes, I did.
Amity: Mmhm.
Kairi: Correct me if I'm wrong, but you two are dating now, right?
Luz and Amity blushed as they looked at each other and then back at the others.
Luz: Umm...not...quite.
Amity: Officially speaking, not yet. We're still...taking things slow...for now.
Kairi: Oh. I was about to say you two make a cute couple already.
Both Luz and Amity blush even harder.
Luz: That's sweet of you.
Amity: We'll know when we get there.

Kairi: Mmhm. I learned a bit of you from Sora's memories and Willow just now, but I'd like to learn more if that's OK.

Sora smiles as he remembers that night when Amity told him how she saw him.
Sora: That was a wonderful night. In that moment, it meant a lot to me, just as much as it meant to her.
The twins smiled at that until Emira suddenly had an idea in her head.

Emira: Ed and I wanted to ask you this for a while, but can you show us some of your Human Realm dance moves? Ed and I would like to practice them.
Edric: Yeah, dude. We've seen how you get down.

Sora stands from the bench, pulls out his Gummiphone, and looks through it.
Sora: Let me find some good music for this.
As Sora was doing so, a group of girls from Hexside walked by the playground. Among them are Skara, Cat, Luna, Eileen, and Amelia. Skara, leading the group, stops everyone and points to her right.
Skara: Hey, girls. Look, it's Sora.
Luna: Sora?
Cat/Luna/Amelia: What's he doing?
They all turn to see Sora dancing with twins.
The Gummiphone was playing 1980s-style dance rock/pop music as the trio rhythmically walked forward while snapping her right fingers in rapid synchronization. They then stopped in place, raised their right arm in the air while curling in their left arm, switched them twice, and repeated the steps while kicking out their right legs and then left legs. They then pumped backward while crisscrossing their arms twice; they then extended their arms parallelly while crisscrossing their legs spun their bodies around, repeated the previous step, and then spun around again. Next, they twist their left arm, then right arm close to their sides, waved their bodies in place while flailing their arms above them in a wavy motion, shook their sides right-to-left repeatedly as they turned to the right while snapping their right fingers, low kicked their left legs twice while moving their arms towards in front of them in a pincer motion, they then spun around fully once and finished it off by halfway curling core and fist pumped with both hands.
Sora: Boom. That's how we humans do it.
Edric: Dude, awesome!
Emira: You oughta teach us more!
Sora: Anytime.
Just then, they heard cheers and wolf whistles and turned to see it was coming from the girls. Sora smiled as he recognized them as Skara, Cat, Luna, Eileen, and Amelia.
Sora: Hey, Skara! Cat! Luna! Eileen! Amelia! What's up?
Skara: Hey there, stud!~
Cat: Sweet moves!~
Luna: Keep dancing for us!~
Amelia: No, no, dance WITH us!~
Eileen nodded enthusiastically.
Sora immediately blushed as he still wasn't used to his recently discovered popularity at Hexside. Meanwhile, Edric and Emira smirked as they elbowed his arm and ruffled Sora's hair. The girls then approached the trio.
As Amity was talking to the others about herself, she suddenly heard a ping noise in her head.
Amity: Ahp. Hold on.
The others tilt their heads in confusion until Amity summoned her scroll.
Amity: Oh. It's Ed and Em.
Luz: What's up?
Amity: They recently posted a new video on their social...lemme see...*widens her eyes softly, smirks* it seems like dynamic duo has used Sora for a little fun.
Kairi: Hm?

Amity turned her scroll around to show everyone a video of Sora performing the same dance he had previously performed with the twins, but this time with Skara and the others. As the others watched on, Luz did a little dance herself.
Luz: I love that song!
Kairi put up a cracked smile.
Kairi: How nice...he's having fun...
Willow: *smugly* It looks to me like your dance with him will have to wait. There's quite a line.
Kairi: Riiiight.
Gus: Oooooh, Sora's in troubleeee!
Kairi: He'll definitely get an interrogation when he gets back.
Amity: *thinking* Welp Sora, you're a dead man.

Just as the dance finished, the girls bid their farewells to Sora and the twins and went on about their day. Just then, Edric put Sora in a gentle stranglehold.
Edric: Oh man! You're my hero, Sora!
Sora: Gah.
Emira: So, what's your secret?
Sora: Uhh...natural charm?
Edric: *sigh* I know what you mean. I've had my fair share of girls lining up for me, too.
Emira: Edric, your illusions don't count.
Edric slumped in annoyance.
Edric: Wow. OK. Just expose me.
Sora laughs a bit.
Sora: I'm sure Edric has a few secret admirers out there.
Edric: *side hugs Sora* You really are a good guy, Sora.
Sora: I do what I can.
Emira: Speaking of, do you plan on asking anyone out at some point? Can't play single forever, you know.

Sora's eyes widened as he began groaning internally. But ultimately decided to come clean.

The twins' eyes widen in shock.
Twins: GIRLFRIEND?!
Sora: Aw, geez.
Edric: You FINALLY got a girlfriend?! Like. for real this time
Sora: ...Yes.

The twins gave Sora celebratory noogies and arm nudges.

The twins did so as they just thought of something.
Edric: Wait a sec. ...I don't think I've heard of that name before at Hexside. Emira, you?

Sora: *sigh* I wouldn't expect you to.
Twins: Hm?
Sora: Well, Kairi's not a student at Hexside. In fact, she's not even a native to this world. She's human like me.

Emira: ANOTHER human?
Sora: Yup. Oh, crud. I just remembered.
Twins: What's up?
Sora: Gotta head back home and get the others fed.

Just as they were about to leave, they heard someone whistling to them and calling out to Emira.

Emira stiffened in annoyance as she recognized that voice.
Emira: Oh, great.
The trio then turned around to see a group of three guys meeting them halfway.
Middle Guy: Hey there, sweetheart. You stepping out on me?
Emira: Shut up!
Edric stepped forward as Sora leaned towards Emira.
Sora: *to Emira, whispering* You know this guy?
Emira: His name's Jax. He's the jerk who stood me up from Grom.
Jax is a male humanoid demon with blue skin, silver hair, and orange eyes. He wears two shirts: a white wrist-length shirt and a black T-shirt with a red stripe in the middle. He also wears black pants, a gold bracelet, and brown boots.
The other two simply wore black hoodies and brown pants and boots to hide their faces.
Emira: Get lost! I don't want anything to do with you!
Jax: Oh, come on, sweetheart. I didn't ditch you by choice. I just had...an unexpected occasion that came up. But I can make it up to you. Come on by. I can give you a good time. What does Waddya say?
Emira felt her skin crawl as Jax quickly licked his lips.
Emira: You better get lost right now, or else.
Jax: Or else what?
Emira: Or else, this. Sora!
Both twins stepped away from one another, allowing Sora to step forward with his arms crossed.
Sora: We going to have trouble here?
Jax and his group flinched at the sight of Sora, even taking a few steps back.
Jax: Sora?!
Sora: One and only.
Jax: Wait. What are you doing with her? You trying to woo Emira? *notices Edric* In front of her brother?
Emira: Eww! No!
Sora: "No!" is right. It's DEFINITELY not like that with me and her.
Jax: Then what?
Sora: Emira's my sister. And Edric's my brother.
Jax: Wah—he's your brother?!
The twins became smug as Edric placed his hand on Sora's right shoulder, and Emira placed her hand on Sora's left shoulder.
Emira/Edric: *smug* Yup. He's a Blight.
Sora: And I'll show you what'll happen if you mess with us.
Jax and his group paused for a bit but decided not to back down.
Jax: Nah. I think we'll stay.
Sora's eyes turned stern and narrow.
Sora: ...Walk away...or you'll end up in body casts.
Jax: Oh please. I ain't a frail. And you know, I really don't like you.
Sora: Why's that?
Jax: You...a scrawny punk, SOMEHOW woos his way into girls' hearts. And then, you're considered the top student in Hexside, A freaking prodigy, all in a little over a month since you enrolled. The rest of us, who had been there longer, worked hard. But I bet you really ain't all that. I bet I could take you down easily.
Sora: *raises eyebrow* That right?
Jax: Yeah.
Sora: Hmph. I don't really agree with me being praised as a prodigy or Hexside's top student, either. BUT...I do have the skills to back it up.
Jax and his group snickered.
Sora: Last chance...leave Emira alone...now...
Jax: Again...nah.
Sora: Hmph. Alright, then. You asked for it. Ed.
Edric: What's up?
Sora: Watch over Emira. I'll handle these three myself.

Amity: All of you know the whole mess between Willow and me because of my weakness and my mom, so we don't need to get into that again. But my mom has a lot more power than you might think.
Luz: Whaddya mean?
Amity: First off, I was born as the third child and youngest daughter of the Blight family.
Luz: Sorry, but I don't know why I never asked this...but...what's so special about your family?
Amity: The Blight family is one of the wealthiest and most prestigious in all of the Isles.
Willow: Basically, they're loaded.
Luz: Ahh, rich girl.
Amity: Yup. And because of that, my mom always had high expectations of me, Ed, and Em for our career paths. In fact... my mom wants me to join the Emperor's Coven after graduation.
The others gasped.
Luz: That's crazy... Well, it's crazy NOW, considering we know that the emperor's coven is actually evil and our enemies.
Amity: Yeah. To do that, I had to join the abomination track since it promises the most opportunities for your future. And that meant I had to study day in and day out, make sure I got good grades, keep my nose clean...and...
Kairi: And...
Amity: And always being the top student. *chuckles brokenly* That's all that mattered to my mom. And for a while, that's all that mattered to me. *looks down to the right side of her chest* Sometimes, I imagine that stupid badge is still there. And I always imagine myself just ripping it off and smashing it into pieces!
The others were taken aback by Amity's sudden rise in her voice. Amity even seemed to take a crooked smile.
Amity: My mom was always obsessed with having things go her way. Ha! You already know that my green hair was because of her. She wanted me to look like her JUST because Ed and Em were born with green hair, and I was born with my dad's hair color. Did she like that?! Nope! Again, she wanted HER vision *standing up, throwing her arms up* over ALL ELSE! And every time I fail to live up to it, IT'S ALWAYS PUNISHMENT!
The others then became concerned over Amity's outburst. Luz comforted her as much as she could by holding her hand gently yet firmly with her right hand and hugging her left. Amity returned the hand, holding and hugging as she tried to calm herself down.
Kairi: Amity...?
Amity: I'm fine. I'm fine. Just...REALLY needed to let that all out.
Amity took some deep breaths to regain her composure.
Kairi: Wow...I...never would've thought that anybody would have that kind of problem. Much less in their own family.
Amity: Yeah...it's a helluva thing.

Luz looked on with sympathy and sadness while Dark Luz spoke to her.
Dark Luz: *to Luz* ...And here I thought we had issues with our mom.

Amity: But, it's not always bad...I mean...the rest of my family aren't bad. Sure, Ed and Em pull pranks and annoy me, but they can, at the very least, be helpful when they can. There's also my dad, who has always been the secretive lifeline to help me despite not always winning arguments over my mom.
Kairi: Aw, that's nice, at least.
Amity: Yeah.

Luz: Oh! Let's not forget a certain spikey brown-haired newly acquired big brother.
Amity suddenly remembered her memories of all her interactions with Sora, leaving her with a smile.
Kairi: I remember seeing that moment between you two. It was so sweet, and he was so happy when he learned that you had seen him that way.
Amity: And I was just as happy when he accepted me. Despite our rough start, despite what I've done, he still reached out to me with kindness, believing in me. And whenever I had my bad days or usual grievances with my family at home, all those troubles went away every time I was with Sora and the rest of you guys.
The others smile sweetly, pretty much in agreement with that sentiment. It was then that Amity had a thought about Sora.
Amity: By the way, he's been gone for a while now. What's keeping him?
The others pondered that, too, but shrugged it off as Sora is known to be able to take care of himself.
Kairi: I'm sure he's fine. He'll be back soon.

Sora tugged and tightened his gloves, stomped his right foot, coiled his body in a circular motion, and took an odd fighting stance with his fists held up like he was holding a cup in each hand with both index fingers into a hook shape, and positioned his thumbs into a "C" shape.
Everyone else was dumbfounded by his stance. Jax and his group laughed a bit while the twins, initially confused, decided to stay silent. They had just assumed this was some human realm martial art and that Sora knew what he was doing.
Jax: What are you doing? Fighting? Or dancing?
Sora: Come here and find out, wuss.
Jax: *angered* Wuss?! That's it!

Jax rushes in with a wind-up fist until Sora seemingly tumbles to his left, causing Jax to trip and fall on his face. This surprised everyone.
Sora: *chuckles* What are you doing? Fighting? Or falling?
Jax became livid at this point as he got back up and started to take another swing at Sora, but he blocked the attack with his arm, curled Jax's leg into a lock, and rapidly punched him in the gut four times until he finished with a harder punch with his right fist. Jax fell on his back, groaning from pain.
Sora: Had enough already?
Jax then looked over to his two friends.
Jax: Don't just stand there! Get him!
The two cronies then rushed after Sora, smirking at the thought that two against one would be easy. But they were sadly mistaken.
Sora: Bring it!
With quick reflexes and accuracy, Sora kicked one guy away in the chin and blocked an incoming right hook while he twirled around, punched the other guy in the gut, and blocked his left hook. This repeated at least twice until Sora finished them both by kicking the first guy away in the gut and twirled around to punch the other away in the gut with his left cupped fist. Sora then taunts them by tumbling around and about as if he is "dizzy," so to speak. Jax then got up and tried to rush in with another attack until Sora unleashed a combo of clawing and punching, then finished with a double palm strike to launch Jax away.
Sora: Hijinks Claw!
Jax rushes in again with a left arm sweep and then a right one until Sora grabs his arms, pushes him back, and leaps forward while spinning his entire body and hitting Jax in the gut to knock him back.
Sora: Spiral Horns Jammer!
Jax tries another rush forward with a 3-punch combo, but Sora tumbles backward, immediately opens both his hands, and slams them on Jax's face.
Sora: Batwing Double Slap!
Jax groaned in pain as he stumbled backward for breath room until...
Sora: Impette Flirting With The Witchling~!
Sora suddenly got close to Jax's face and cupped them while putting on the smolder look that he had learned from Eugene Fitzherbet (AKA Flynn Rider) in his time in the Kingdom of Corona. This made Jax blush and confused; the cronies became REALLY confused, and the twins tried their absolute hardest to not laugh, all while the girls, who walked back the same path, were watching, blushed immensely, inexplicably had nose bleeds, then fainted in ecstasy.
Jax: ...Wait...what's happening?
Unfortunately for Jax, he got his answer from Sora, who gave him a powerful headbutt and knocked him down.

Sora: Eeh hee hee!
The twins then suddenly burst out with wild laughter.
Edric: Dude! What the heck was that?!
Emira: Are you even fighting seriously?
Sora: *tumbling around* Nope. These punks are just that easy. And what you have all just seen is a brand new style of martial arts. Inspired by the Boiling Isles creatures, of which I just made up, I call it...Crazy Imp Style! *strikes a pose*
Twins: *laughing wildly* Cool.
Sora noticed that Jax and his crew had gotten back up and were ready to fight again.
Sora: Oh, you want more? Come on, then!
Jax: *snarled* I've had it! You two! Handle this kid! I'm going for Emira!~

Before anything else could happen, Jax grabbed a potion bottle and threw it to the ground, releasing a large cloud of smoke and disappearing from sight.
Sora: Fog Brew! Edric, Emira, watch out!
Twins: Right!
Just then, Jax appears in front of Edric.
Jax: Move it, Eddy!
Edric: You wish!
The two got into a fight themselves as Emira backed away while Sora took care of the other two.
Sora: Let's make this quick.
The two rush at Sora with kicks to his chest, but he blocks them both simultaneously with his arms, dodges an incoming right hook to his left, grabs hold them both by their wrists, uses his right leg to kick them both on their sides and kicks them both away by performing a full split kick. As one guy fell down for the count, the other tried to get in on Sora with left and right hooks, but Sora casually blocked each one with his left arm without even looking. As soon as the guy tried to get in another swing, Sora raised his right leg to stop him in his place by letting his gut meet his foot. Then, he ended the fight by performing a spin kick to the head and knocking him out.
Sora: And you're done.
Sora then heard a shout from behind him, which came from Edric. Jax kicked him in the gut, knocking him away. The punk then slowly approached Emira with a greedy smirk.
Jax: Come on, sweetheart. Just give me one more chance.~
Emira: Drop dead, you creep!

Emira slaps Jax across the face as hard as she could. Unfortunately for Emira, Jax was undeterred as he turned his head to face Emira again, only to slap her across the face and knock her down to the ground, causing her to scream in pain.
Edric: *eyes widen* EMIRA!
Jax: Tch...Dumb girl!

The area was dead silent, and the slap echoed all over. Sora watched the whole thing as if it had happened in slow motion. His eyes widened and his pupils dilated as he had a flashback of what Lilith did to Kairi during the rescue mission at Belos's castle. After that, he saw Jax aiming to attack Emira again, causing Sora to seethe with anger and his eyes to turn red. At this point, Sora had had had had enough.
Sora: HEY!
Jax stopped as he turned to see Sora rushing at him and was punched straight in the mouth, sending him flying and hitting the wall. Jax shouted in pain. But before he could do anything else, Sora kept him pinned to the wall and just repeatedly punched Jax in the mouth left and right. As this was happening, Edric ran over to Emira and helped her up to see if she was OK. After confirming that she was, the two turned to see Sora still wailing at Jax.
Edric: Uh...Sora?
Emira: You can stop now.
Unfortunately, Sora did not hear them as he kept punching Jax repeatedly. The onslaught became worse as Jax's mouth started to bleed, even splattering all across the wall. By this point, Jax began to cry and begged Sora to stop.
Sora: YOU WON'T EVER LAY YOUR HANDS ON HER! NOBODY WILL LAY THEIR HANDS ON HER AGAIN!
Twins: Oh, my titan!
As soon as the twins saw that, they grabbed a hold of Sora, trying to stop him.
Edric: Sora! SORA! STOP!
Emira: You got him! He's done!
As soon as Sora heard them, he stopped and let go of Jax, letting him slump to the ground. Just then, Sora turned around to face the twins, giving off a small glare, his eyes still red and a little teary. This scared them until Sora suddenly paused and shook his head, letting his eyes turn back to blue afterward. He looked at the twins again.
Sora: Hey, you guys OK?
The twins then looked at him, all surprised, while Sora looked confused.
Sora: What's wrong?
Edric: "What's wrong"...? Sora...? How are you feeling?
Sora: ...Fine? Why?
The twins looked at one another again, flabbergasted, then back at Sora.
Emira: Umm...do you...remember...what just happened?
