"You sure you'll be able to keep up, old man?" Vaggie snickered. "Don't mistake age for weakness, cadet," Husk chuckled, "Besides, speed only counts for so much. What matters here is technique. Let's see just how polished yours is, shall we?"

Vaggie smiled confidently and nodded, spreading her wings wide as she got ready for takeoff. Husk chuckled as he sidestepped a few feet and spread his wings out, giving them a few gentle flaps before pulling out his flask and taking a quick swig. Vaggie chuckled as Husk turned to her and flashed an excited smile. "Ready?" Vaggie smirked, "One," "Two… three!"

Husk and Vaggie made a mad dash for the edge of the roof, letting out an excited shout as they leapt up and flapped their wings hard and fast to catch the wind. Vaggie laughed as she felt the wind fill her wings and she started to soar up high into the air, "I'm doing it! I'm finally flying!" "You're doing great, Vaggie," Husk smiled, "Congratulations. But don't get too cocky; we're only just getting started. Follow me." Vaggie smirked as she flapped her wings hard and began flying faster to catch up to Husk as he started flying towards Liquor Lane.

"We going to pick up some more stock for the bar?" Vaggie asked. "Nope," Husk said shaking his head, "Just wanted to see how well you can clear the obstacle course." Husk pointed down towards a line of buildings with roofs of varying sizes and heights, "You know what to do, cadet. Show me what you got."

Vaggie nodded and dove down, coming down to the first roof and ran across it before jumping up and flying to the top of the next roof over and crossing it so she could glide her way across to the next rooftop and so on. Husk smiled and nodded approvingly as he watched Vaggie clear the last rooftop before leaping up and taking wing again.

"How was that, Husk?" Vaggie asked. "Not bad," Husk chuckled, "Not bad at all. Come on, there's a place where we can take a breather just a few blocks ahead." "Running out of steam already?" Vaggie teased. Husk groaned as he rubbed his forehead. "Is your head still hurting?" Vaggie asked, "From the withdrawal?"

"Ugh… unfortunately," Husk groaned, "It's not just my head, either… I just… need a second. Once my head's cleared, we'll do a couple of laps around Cannibal Town before heading back to the hotel." Vaggie gave a thumbs up and said, "Sounds like a plan." Vaggie followed Husk to a tall, flat-topped building where they carefully came down and gracefully landed a few feet past the edge. Vaggie felt a bit concerned when she saw Husk panting as he pulled out his flask.

"You sure you're okay for this?" Vaggie asked, watching as Husk took a big swig from his flask. "Ugh… I'm fine," Husk insisted, "Just having one of my… uh… one of my more off days. But, I promised you we'd go out and fly today, and I'm a man of my word. Whew… just give me a few minutes to catch my breath and we'll head out again."

Vaggie smiled as she sat down next to Husk and took a moment to relax as Husk rested up and took a few more sips from his flask before tucking it away. After a few minutes, Husk stood up, took a second to stretch his wings, lifting his arms above his head and gave a long yawn before turning to Vaggie and offered her a hand up and helped her onto her feet. "Okay… let's get going."

Vaggie flew next to Husk, being careful to keep just enough distance between them so they wouldn't interfere with each other's airstream as they headed towards Cannibal Town. Husk looked down and spotted a little store near the outskirts of the village and smiled. "I wonder if Bébé still serves that blueberry drizzle cheesecake." Husk pondered, licking his lips and giving a happy sigh. "Blueberry drizzle cheesecake?" Vaggie asked, "That sounds delicious."

"Oh, it is," Husk chuckled, "It's one of my favorite deserts. It's a bit on the pricier side, but damn is it worth every penny." "Well… we could go see if they've got any available." Husk looked at Vaggie in surprise and said, "Uh… I don't know, Vaggie. It's down in Cannibal Town, and the folks there are a bit, um… particular about their aesthetic. Plus, you and I both know all those Exorcists' bodies didn't just vanish." Vaggie chuckled at that, nodding in understanding as she knew Husk's concerns were valid. Still, she put on a smile, trying to act confident and reassuring as she said, "I'm sure it'll be fine, Husk. You once said that you were always welcome thanks to Rosie. I'm sure we'll be fine as long as we don't take too long."

"You sure, Vaggie?" Husk asked nervously. "I'm sure," Vaggie nodded, "Now come on. Let's get going." "Huh? W-whoa! Vaggie, wait, slow down!" Husk gave a soft, nervous grumble as he followed Vaggie, going into a dive and flew down into Cannibal Town, feeling very uneasy as he looked around and saw some of the citizens staring at them with many paying particularly close attention to Vaggie. Husk reached over and grabbed the fallen angel, keeping her close as they walked through the town, casually greeting a few of the townsfolk who recognized him as he guided her to a small shop on the outskirts of the town. It was a bakery; the sign read 'Bébé's Bake Stop.'

"Well, here it is," Husk said with a fond sigh, "You sure you want to do this?" Vaggie nodded and said, "I'm sure. Besides, it sounds like there's more to have around here than just cannibal food; I might buy something for me and Charlie while I'm here." "Alright then; if you insist," Husk shrugged, "Now tuck your wings away and come on."
