As he awoke, Aleister expected to feel different, his body had changed, he was sure of it, yet he felt completely the same. He glanced to his table, two items sitting there harmlessly.
"Hah, as if the Dark Dark Fruit or that cursed spellbook could ever be harmless". He picked up the Devil Fruit and Prelati's Spellbook, he wouldn't be using the book, that he knew. He was evil, but he wasn't the sort of evil who'd use spells created by fucking Prelati of all people.
The Dark Dark Fruit was a maybe, but as far as he was aware it wouldn't let him use more then one Devil Fruit, that was likely a mutation within Blackbeard's body. In all honestly, he'd rather a Zoan for the enhancements it'd give to his body.
"I'll experiment with my Quincy abilities later, Blut and Spirit Weapons huh...?". He frowned, he didn't have a Quincy Cross, was the technique possible still? If Gaia hadn't given him one, he assumed that was the case. Well, he could work things out later, right now he had other things he wanted to get to.
Item gained!
- Dark Dark Fruit. A Logia Devil Fruit, once eaten the user gains the power to control darkness that can negate Devil Fruit Powers and even influence gravity. However, the user cannot transform into their element, and they will experience pain far more intensely.
Power gained.
- The Mist - Darkened Misty Metropolis.
The Noble Phantasm of Assassin Jack the Ripper, a mist made of magical energy that forms a Bounded Field that can be expanded at will. The mist is will force normal humans to faint from the pain of entering the fog, as it burns their throat and eyes, unable to breath in the heavy mist. Its effects can be controlled by the user, so they can choose who's immune to it or only make it cover a small area.
It will also lower the agility of enemies.
Weapon gained.
- Prelati's Spellbook - Textbook of the Sunken Spiral Castle.
A Demonic guidebook and summoning grimoire with a cover made of glistening and wet human skin. It holds forbidden knowledge of summoning Horrors, and even of an evil god (Cthuhlu) . Rather then a simple tome of spells and curses, the book itself is a monster with its own magical energy reactor, possessing immense magical energy independent of its wielder.
Spells learned!
- Blut (By making Reishi flow directly into their blood vessels, the user can drastically increase their attack and defense power to inhuman levels. A major flaw is how only one can be used at a time however.
- Spirit Weapon (Combines Reishi to form a weapon, while its more difficult without a Quincy Cross it is still possible. Spirit Weapons have the power to completely destroy spiritual entities instead of purifying them like a Zanpakuto).
"I can't believe you created them with no offensive abilities". Aleister sighed as he was working on a new weapon, giving a light glare to Nibelcole.
"They were made for infiltrating, not combat. I didn't want to risk a Thinker realizing they were combat models". The AI explained, it was annoying but he could see her view.
The Magician glanced to the four currently deactive androids, he'd already finished their internal upgrades, and now he just needed to finish their weapons.
And to think he'd have never known they were useless in combat if he hadn't thought to ask them what they could do. He'd given them all a basic upgrade package and some more unique powers for themselves, he was fairly certain they could take on most Capes and win with ease, but New York wasn't filled with just any capes, it was filled with some of the strongest and most dangerous on the planet, including Demi-Servants.
He glanced to the three weapons he'd already finished, and the one he was currently working. He'd already finished the younger design androids weapons, and it was just Irisviel's he needed to finish, but that was mainly because he needed Medea's help with imbuing it with cursed magic.
Irisviel's weapon was a Damascus steel lance, reinforced with a vibranium tip that would be imbued with cursed magic, making it harder for wounds it dealt to heal.
Chloe would be given two swords similar in appearance to Kanshou and Bakuya, made of Damascus steel with vibranium-tipped edge reinforced with magical energy.
Illya's weapon would be a Damascus steel scythe tipped with vibranium, with a yellow crystal imbued near the top allowing it to act as a focus point for casting spells. He'd need to have her study with Medea though to actually LEARN any spells.
Finally Miyu, she would be given a Damascus steel sword reinforced with both vibranium and magical energy, designed to look exactly like Excalibur.
"All in all, I'd say these four will be monsters on the battlefield". Aleister frowned, while he had a lot of offensive power, he was starting to realize he didn't have as much information as he wanted.
Maybe he should have one of the AI's focus on gathering information for him? Something to consider later.
Bonds formed.
Irisviel (Unit 00): 1.
Chloe (Unit 01): 1.
Illya (Unit 02): 1.
Miyu (Unit 03): 1.
"I keep telling you, it won't work". Medea commented, not even glancing at Aleister as he was working on a 'revival' system. "Thousands of Magus have tried this in the past, it just doesn't work. Even with a True Magic, there are miracles you still can't do".
"I suppose your right, I was just hoping to have a backup system in case anyone died". The Magician sighed, glancing at the body he'd been experimenting on, some random criminal he'd captured. He had considered using a werewolf maid for this experiment, but considering the results, he winced. "But I didn't expect a self destruct of the soul".
"Why do you think experimenting on souls is so forbidden? Every little failure could lead to absolute disaster. Only madmen experiment with souls expecting success". Medea glanced to the corpse, casting a spell that caused it to disappear. "Maybe if you actually had more experience with Heaven's Feel, but it took Zelretch centuries to master the Kaleidoscope, and I'm sure even he's still learning new things about it".
"Sometimes, I wonder if I chose the wrong True Magic...". Actually, no Heaven's Feel was great, it just didn't have as obvious abilities as the other True Magics did.
Yeaaa, trying to make some kinda soul storage system? Not going to work. Not only would it functionally make us able to revive any of our deceased forces, its just broken. We already have a essentially immortal MC.
"Oh? And what does the little mortal want with me?". Euryale hadn't really caused much issues, but she had certainly been demanding ever since she came to the castle. But Aleister was determined to take advantage of a rare opportunity where the Archer was away from Ana.
"I want to know what your original plan was with Humbaba". He requested, it was a simple one he was hoping the goddess would agree to. "A simple request you should have no issue filling, with all I've given you".
"Hmm, alright, but this will settle our debt back to zero". Euryale leaned backwards into the beanbag she was sitting on. "I was mostly just planning to intimidate you with how powerful Humbaba was, maybe have it and Medusa throw around you and your allies a bit, get you to give me the Holy Grail, and then be on my way".
"Thats it? You weren't even planning to try and kill some Servants to fill the Grail?". It was becoming quickly clear the goddess hadn't really thought her plan through that much.
"Why make an enemy of a larger group when I could focus on those running about like ants in New York?". Euryale smiled, a hint of menace behind it. "Medusa could've easily torn through most of those heroes, and any she couldn't deal with I could just sic Humbaba on".
"That makes sense I suppose". Well, at least Aleister was confident that Euryale wasn't going to start planning a long con to betray him.
"...Mega Digimon are scary...". What else could he say? Was there even anything he COULD say?!
Aleister had always known Digimon were beings that could raze entire planets and galaxies, that the strongest of them made the very concept of space and time bow to their whims.
He had only sent Keramon into Shard Space five minutes ago, and yet he'd already returned, easily having hacked the shards of Kurumi and Maia in the time it'd taken him to make a freaking coffee!
(Yeaaaaa, I had thought we'd had more mid/low level Shards, but in turns out the remaining Parahuman allies are all high class Shards).
"Hehehe". Keramon only laughed about it, having found the experience to be an utter breeze. The only reason he'd even took so long was travel time between the Shards!
Yeaaaa, Diaboromon would not have any struggle hacking two Shards. I really thought we had more allies with low/mid level Shards, but the rest are high level. But at least we only have Iris, Lumine, Nia, and Meltryllis Shards to worry about. We could also hack our captives Shards.
"So your sure this is safe to eat?". Aleister looked nervously at the banana in his hands.
"I'm sure, it should taste and act like a completely normal banana, its just in peak health and can grow in even the worst of soil". Nia explained, confident the plant was safe.
Well, if the Biotinker said that...
He took a bite of the banana, slowly chewing it as he tested the taste. It certainly tasted like a banana, all in all.
"Its a complete success". Aleister smiled, glancing around to the garden Nia was working on. "Keep up the good work, these will be useful for charity donations and feeding people".
The Demi-Berserker nodded, quickly getting back to work on what seemed to be some mutated form of giant melons.
Bond up.
Nia Honjou: 3.
"...I really should've experimented with this first". Aleister was cursing his lack of experience with his True Magic, trying to jump straight into creating souls? While he was confident he could do it (Even Medea could create an artificial soul, even if she claimed it was nowhere as good as the real deal), it was no easy task. A part of him had considered using the homunculus method of creating souls, but that felt...
Ill-fitting, for a being as powerful as Oryou.
"Alright, lets try this again". He held out his hands, calling upon his True Magic, sweat began to drip down his face as an orb of white light formed. Alright, that was the first step, the bases off the soul, but it was empty, powerless.
Next, he called upon a small fragment of his Divinity. Oryou was a daughter of Izanami, so a soul tinted with Divinity would be more suitable. The white light quickly shifted into a dark pinkish-red, the edges seeming to shift like flames.
Aleister was breathing heavily, but he couldn't stop now, this was the furthest he'd gotten! He thought of what he knew of Oryou, her tastes, her desires, and her personality, he began to channel these thoughts into the soul.
But not memories, and nothing of Ryouma. If he wanted a dragon in love with someone else, he'd just prefer having the original Oryou. Instead, he shifted those feelings of love and affection towards him.
Staring at the soul, it still held that dark pinkesh-red color, but now it was splattered with dots of bright pink. It was as good as he could make it, now it just needed to a vessel to stablize.
He summoned the puppet Oryou, who floated perfectly still as he held the soul against her. He channeled everything he knew from Heaven's Feel, his Shinigami nature, and Quincy techniques, to ensure the soul would be perfect for this body. Slowly, the flaming orb was absorbed into her chest, leaving the master panting.
He'd done it, he'd-
Thump!
"Master, you look tired. Do you need Oryou to get a pillow?". Oryou asked, seemingly not even realizing anything wrong as she held her exhausted partner.
"Hehe, I suppose I am, fucking worth it though...". Aleister grinned, he'd done it! It had taken a lot more out of him then expected, but he'd managed to fucking do it!
Bond formed.
Oryou: 1.
I will get to making her a character sheet soon, and with her fully having a soul now, she can grow even stronger then before.
"So you don't feel comfortable with a full transformation?". Aleister asked, observing FB as she was currently in her hybrid-Zoan state. Two purple horn-like intrusions from the top of her head, reminding him of Mewtwo's ears, a long and strong tail, and her hands had shifted from pale flesh to a pale purple color.
"Its... Uncomfortable, my emotions feel duller and its already hard to express them...". FB explained, that made a startling amount of sense.
"I understand, your powerful enough you shouldn't need to fully transform except in desperate situations anyway". Aleister began to equip his Faust armor, while they weren't going to spar he'd rather be extra safe when messing with something like Mewtwo's power.
Currently, the two were on Earth Alpha, so that FB could test the full limits of her power.
"First, weather manipulation". Aleister watched as the Digital Human's eyes began to glow, the sky visibly beginning to change from clear weather to dark and brooding storms. It didn't even take a full minute before it began to pelt down with rain, with occasional booms of thunder. "How far can you expand this?".
"I can cover an area as large as Australia with ease, likely the entire planet if I go all out. With the X-Antibody... Unknown". FB didn't even feel a hint of exhaustion as she expertly manipulated the weather, the storm vanishing from above.
Over the next few hours, Aleister and FB would do all they could to push her powers to the limit. Lifting things with her telekinesis, using Pokemon moves, a few durability tests. Now, they only had one last thing to test.
"Alright, next test is...". Aleister frowned, looking at the little USB in his hands. "...Actually, we're cancelling the X-Antibody test".
"H-huh?". FB was confused, wouldn't it be better to-
"Your already taken a massive power leap with Mewtwo, when using its abilities your easily one of the most powerful beings on Earth Bet. But at the same time, your inexperienced, you've never even been in an actual battle before". The master explained, putting the USB into the Gate of Babylon. "Its to risky to be using X-Antibody until your grown used to your current power set, I will not be dealing with you self destructing because of us taking an unnecessary risk".
"...Understandable".
Bond up.
FB: 6.
Yeaaa, FB is still very inexperienced using Mewtwo's power. She's experienced using the enhancements it gives to her mind, but her body is a very different case. X-Antibody upgrades EVERYTHING, and it would very much risk her self-destructing from the power she literally cannot control.
"Are you sure its a wise idea to summon two Servants at once?". Medea asked, a look of concern in her eyes. The ritual had been set up, but her master had insisted on only him and her in the room for the summoning.
"Suzuka Gozen and Uesugi Kenshin should both listen to me with no problems, trust me". Aleister promised, before turning to the ritual circles and sending a wave of mana into them.
Golden sparks quickly began to form into two bodies, two very confused looking bodies as they noticed each other and the third Servant here.
"Now this is a strange summoning even for me!". Uesugi Kenshin grinned, but still went on to introduce herself. "Ruler Servant, Uesugi Kenshin, at your service, master!".
"Like, totally uncool to be two-timing me already, but I guess I'll tots let it slide this time. Saber Servant, Suzuka Gozen". The foxy Saber introduced herself, her ears twitching. "But like, whats going on? Why are there so many Servants here?".
"Allow me ladies, its a... Long story". Aleister got himself ready to explain the situation, at the very least these two would willingly work with him.
No need to try and convince these two, Suzuka will go along for the chance for love and Kenshin is... A version of Kagetora, who even if she wouldn't like us from what I know, would agree to help as long we our actions are bringing positive changes.
Well we got some good work done here, and two new Servants! I'll probably not be updating character sheets today, but I will try and get it done by the end of the week.
