Episode 12: Pink Hurricane

Around the corner on Rhythm Avenue in Heart District lied a large building with an array of lights shining in the sky. The lights themselves waved back and forth in the air, shifting their default colors into alternatives for merely a second until they switched back and then changed again. The building itself was violet and covered from head to toe with images of hearts and silhouettes of people shifting their bodies. Lastly, at the center of the building is a large sign illuminated with violet and pink lighting titled: Turn It Up.

Outside of the building a plethora of people were standing in large groups. Placed in organized lines, the crowds stared right at the entrance of the building biting down on their lower lips and with widened eyes. Most of them had their mouths hanging open, others had their bodies violently shaking, and most grinned with diamonds in their eyes. Standing in front of the entrance doors were five large men wearing black shades, black suits and ties, and black dress-shoes.

Pulling out a microphone the central man raised it up to his lips and opened his mouth.

"EVERYONE!" The central man yelled.

At the sound of his echoing voice the crowds slowly started to calm down, yet most of them still had traces of vibrations flowing through their bodies.

"The show is about to start! I'm sure you all are very excited and for that we're glad you all came to this event! Now, you all may enter the building! No bumping! No rushing! No violence!"

Putting the microphone down the central man and his buddies stepped aside, giving the crowds a clear path inside. Without any delays the crowds started traversing their way toward the entrance and making their way in.

Within the building itself...there...wasn't really a way to describe what the crowds were seeing. On the main floor right in the middle of the area there was a huge pink statue in the shape of a heart. In the middle of the statue were five other statues, only these were of various people smiling and winking while making heart shapes with their hands. To the left of the main floor were large posters showcasing silhouettes of girls with their backgrounds in pink. To the right were more posters, only these showed silhouettes of males with their backgrounds in violet.

Directly in front of them the crowds made their way through large doors behind the heart statues and right then and there most began to scream in pure bliss.

On the other side of the main floor lied a humongous area with thousands upon thousands of seats. All the way at the very back lied huge stage with a myriad of lights flashing everywhere. The stage itself held pink and violet curtains currently closed at the moment with images of hearts and musicals notes decorated on it. And if that wasn't enough a large booming collection of music was playing in the background as the crowds were finding their seats.

Once seated most of the crowds couldn't help but start screaming at the top of their lungs. They couldn't even believe that they were even here right now, but they were. This wasn't a dream, this was't a fantasy, this wa real. This was totally real and they just had to let all of their pent-up energy out, even if it was early to do that.

Soon...the lights went out, making the crowds gasp before silencing themselves. The entire area was covered in darkness with only small traces of light available for the people to see through. Turning their attention onto the stage a single ray of light shined right in the middle of it. The curtains then began to slowly open themselves up and a single figure made herself known to the audience.

The figure was Lepidolite Evans with her head lowered and her arms wrapped around her body while her legs were connected together. Around her body was a large white cloth, covering her and only showing the lower parts of her legs. The crowds all locked their eyes onto her. There she was...yet...what was she gonna do? What was gonna happen next?

Raising her head she opened her eyes, directing it right onto the large crowds of people right in front of her. Her lips slowly curved upwards as she moved her arms and pushed the white cloth. Without it the crowds gasped at what she was hiding from them. She wore a small violet crop-top with a short violet skirt, long violet knee-length shoes, violet elbow-length fingerless gloves, and the cherry on top: heart-shaped earrings.

Raising out her arms she slowly took a few steps forward and came to a complete stop near the edge of the stage. Spreading out her legs a bit she placed her hands on her hips as her lips started stretching upwards a bit more. It's time...

BOOM!

Right behind her a stream of explosions erupted right from the stage as an array of lights started shining all over the place. From the explosions several young women and men wearing similar outfits came out from different sides of the curtains and started making their way toward Lepidolite. As they were getting near her both sides quickly stopped in place and placed their hands on their hips.

As they did music started playing in the atmosphere.

[Song Start]

Lepidolite:

I don't need no-one to me me how to feel the beat.

And I don't need no beat to tell me how to move my feet.

Male Backup Group:

Just go and do what you do, cuz there's nothing to prove.

Lepidolite:

I'm just being me, w-watch me do me.

With the song starting up, Lepidolite and her crew started shaking their hips.

Lepidolite:

I don't need no magazine to tell me who to be.

And I don't need to pose for p-p-paparazzi.

Female Backup Group:

Just keep the camera's flashin', to try to catch this action.

Lepidolite:

I'm just bein' me, w-watch me do me, me, me, me.

Spinning themselves around, Lepidolite and her crew soon lowered their upper-bodies to the floor, smacking their hands on it and raising up their lower bodies.

Lifting up their legs they all twisted and spun their lower bodies before quickly pushing themselves from the floor, having gravity rotate their bodies until they landed back on stage.

Female Backup Group:

Light up the floor, play me one more.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Male Backup Group:

Click clack on the high hat, feel the bass vibrate.

Both Backup Groups:

Feel the room rock!

Light up the floor, just like before.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Female Backup Group:

Bass drop on the boom box make your heart stop-

All:

Feel the room rock!

Lepidolite soon started rocking her body back and forth, swaying her arms as she twisted her body while lifting her leg into the air.

Her backups started facing each other and walking forward, shaking their hips to the beats.

Female Backup Group:

I'm doin' all I want to do, and I won't until I can't move.

Male Backup Group:

I'm just bein' me, watch me do me, me, me.

Lepidolite:

Watch me do me.

Me, me.

Watch me. Watch.

Curving her body, Lepidolite placed both of her hands onto the floor, lifting herself up and spinning around until she landed back down and crouched.

The backups stood behind her, standing up straight with their hands on hips.

Lepidolite:

I don't need no music when I wanna sing a song.

I don't need what's popular to know what's right or wrong.

Male Backup Group:

I'm busy burnin' the track, not holdin' anything back.

Lepidolite:

I'm just bein' me.

W-Watch me do me.

Me, me, me.

Lepidolite slowly raised herself up as her and her backups were stretching out their arms and lifting their legs to the beats.

Female Backup Group:

Light up the floor, play me one more.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Male Backup Group:

Click clack on the high hat, feel the bass vibrate.

Both Backup Groups:

Feel the room rock!

Light up the floor, just like before.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Female Backup Group:

Bass drop on the boom box make your heart stop-

All:

Feel the room rock!

Stopping in place Lepidolite and the crew started twirling their bodies until they got near the edge of the stage and fell onto their knees.

Female Backup Group:

I'm doin' all I want to do and I won't stop until I can't move.

Lepidolite:

I'm just bein' me.

Watch me do me.

Soon Lepidolite and the crew pushed themselves up onto their feet and started jumping in place.

I'm ready.

I'm, I'm ready to go.

Both Backup Groups:

L-Let it, l-let it explode.

All:

I'm ready.

I'm, I'm ready to go!

Go! Go! Go! Go!

Stopping in place Lepidolite and the crew then bent their knees and pushed themselves into the air, rotating themselves backwards until they landed back on their feet.

Soon after they all started shaking their bodies.

Female Backup Group:

Light up the floor, play me one more.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Male Backup Group:

Click clack on the high hat, feel the bass vibrate.

Both Backup Groups:

Feel the room rock!

Light up the floor, just like before.

Lepidolite:

Let me hear that!

Female Backup Group:

Bass drop on the boom box make your heart stop, stop...

I'm doin' all I want to do, and I won't stop until I can't move.

All:

I'm just bein' me.

Watch me do me, me, me.

Lepidolite:

Watch me do me, me, me.

All:

Watch me, watch me...

[Song End]

Once the final verse had been sung the lights slowly started coming back on and the crowds quickly stood up before clapping their hands rapidly. They all screamed and shouted in pure bliss. Some men in the crowds started ripping their shirts off, showing off their bare-chests and tattoos in the shape of hearts.

Lepidolite and her crew raised out their hands and began giving out air kisses. They loved it. These people really, really enjoyed their performance!

Turning themselves around Lepidolite and the crew began making their way to the back of the stage right as the curtains started closing themselves up. Making a turn Lepidolite and the crew made their way down a long hallway before finding a door at the end of it. Reaching her hand out Lepidolite grabbed the knob and twisted it before opening it up, allowing her crew to go in first before she went in last and closed the door behind her.

Within the room Lepidolite and her crew saw a woman sitting in a chair looking at a TV screen before turning her attention onto the people who came in. The woman had short red hair ending at the base of her neck and teal-colored eyes. She wore a white collared shirt with a pink-blazer, pink dress-pants and heels, light red nail-polish, red-lipstick, and a small silver necklace with a silver heart at it's end.

The woman's lips curved upwards as she started clapping.

"That was amazing, everyone!" The woman said cheerfully. "All that practice really paid off."

Lepidolite's body started shaking violently as she covered her mouth. Her lips started stretching out as she started hopping in one place.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Everyone around her turned to her direction and witnessing her reaction. The crew merely smirked at her while shaking their heads while the woman merely giggled. Here was Gem acting like a teenager who just achieved her dreams, yet they didn't mind it at the slightest. They did just perform an amazing show.

Lepidolite soon halted her hopping and removed her hands from her mouth. Exhaling out some air she turned her eyes onto the woman, "Michelle. I really feel like doing another show right now."

Michelle merely giggled, "Lep. You know the rules we established."

Hearing this, Lepidolite soon puffed up her cheeks and crossed her arms. That's right... One of the rules were no extra shows right after a performance.

"C'mon, Lep. After what we just did, we need rest and another week of practice before we can do another show." Backup Girl#1 said, fanning herself.

"Totes. I wanna hit the sack and catch some zzz's before pulling something like that again." Backup Guy#1 added as he went over to a small fridge in the corner ad grabbed a drink a drink from it.

Lepidolite soon puffed her cheeks even more as they started turning dark pink. Shut her eyes she lifted up her leg and started stomping in on the floor.

It's not fair. Not fair! Totally not fair! She knows that the others are tired, so wouldn't it be better for them to rest while she performs a solo? Well...she can't do that either. Ugh!

Michelle's lips soon curved down as she watched Lepidolite's actions. A small sigh soon exhaled her lips as she stood from her chair and walked right up to her while putting a hand in her pocket.

"Lepidolite~" Michelle sang, making the pink Gem stop her stomping and open her eyes. Once she did her cheeks soon deflated as she saw what Michelle was holding in her hand, a large cherry-flavored lollipop. "Be a good girl and wait another week. If you do I'll let you have this, okay?"

A small moan exited Lepidolite's lips as she adverted her eyes. Her greatest weakness, yet placed in a hard bargain. She wanted to do another show now, yet...cherry-flavored lollipops were her all time favor type of candy.

"Okay... I'll behave." Lepidolite pouted.

Smirking, Michelle handed Lepidolite the lollipop and watched her unwrap it and placing it into her mouth.

BEEP!

Hearing that familiar sound Lepidolite turned her attention onto a small set of lockers nearby. Approaching it she entered the combination onto her lock and opened it up to find her phone inside. Reaching out for it she saw a Gem icon on and tapped it, making a map appear behind it before it got placed onto a location.

Turning around Lepidolite looked back at her crew and Michelle while taking the lollipop out of her mouth.

"I gotta go." Lepidolite said.

Michelle gave her a nod, "Okay. Please be careful. And if Kameron is with you, tell him to be extra careful."

Lepidolite gave her a nod and raised up her right hand before twisting it, revealing her Gemstone in her palm. Her Gemstone soon began to glow and from it a small pink Warp Whistle came out of it. Grabbing it she placed the whistle into her mouth and blew into it, covering her whole body in a pink glow before she disappeared.

In a bright pink flash Lepidolite arrived at her destination and removed her Warp Whistle from her mouth.

All around her there were a myriad of trees. The ground was covered in thick grass and held some small rocks with a snake slithering pass them. Raising her head she spotted some massive tree branches up above, covered in vines. In the air her ears picked up some caws and howls echoing all around her surroundings.

Putting her whistle back into her Gemstone, Lepidolite's body was soon covered in a small pink glow before her current outfit got changed into her default one. With everything in place she started making her way forward.

Raising out her hands she pushed away some large leaves blocking her path and kept her eyes on both the path and the ground. The sun up above shined it's rays among the trees without a cloud accompanying it. Due to some of the rays hitting her, Lepidolite had to raise on of her arms above her head, shading her sight.

Passing by a huge tree a collection of buzzing sounds entered her ears as she lowered her arm. Putting her eyes onto her arm a mosquito soon flew passed her and landed right onto her forearm. Pushing it's head back the mosquito's sucker pierced itself into her skin, but as it tried to feed the mosquito soon froze in place and fell right onto the ground. It's body didn't move nor flinched, it just...laid there in the grass.

Lepidolite huffed at it and continued walking. One of the many benefits of being a Gem, no blood for bugs to drink from.

"Ola, Gema."

Hearing the voice, Lepidolite stopped in her tracks. Slowly turning her head her eyes shifted from left to right. Slowly turning around she slowly lowered her body while lifting up her right arm toward her face.

*crack*

The sound of a twig snapping entered her ears, yet she remained in her position.

From the bushes in front of her a figure soon revealed itself to her. Getting a good look at it Lepidolite soon raised an eyebrow and slightly tilted her head. The figure itself was a canine, yet it's entire body was made of metal. It's head showcased small eyes glowing green and from behind it's tail held a long sharp blade at it's end. Moreso, the letters D.H.P. were shown at the center of it's forehead.

"Adquirimos assistencia." The metal canine said in Portuguese.

Raising up her upper-body, Lepidolite narrowed her eyes at it while lowering her right arm.

"Onde estao os corrompidos?" Lepidolite replied in Portuguese.

"Me siga." The metal canine said as it jogged right passed her.

Turning around Lepidolite followed the metal canine. Picking up speed both her and the canine rushed passed numerous bushes and took quick turned among the path they were on.

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

Bang!

The sounds of gunfire entered Lepidolite's ears, making her push herself further and increase her speed. The metal canine watched her run pass it and began increasing it's own speed to match hers. Up ahead they both spotted a large rock in the distance and began making their way toward it. Coming up to the rock they both jumped high into the air and landed right on top of the rock before pushing themselves into the air once more, rotating their bodies and landing back onto the ground without losing momentum.

Up ahead the duo soon came to a complete stop and found the source of the gunfire. In their current location stood a large waterfall with it's roaring waters pouring right into a big lake down below. Near the waterfall the duo saw three soldiers pointing their guns at a creature in front of them.

The creature in question was large with fluffy pink fur surrounding it's body. It's head two large horns with sharp ends and jagged teeth. The creature stood on all four legs with sharp claws on each one and spikes pointing right out of it's back. Lastly, there was a Gemstone placed right on it's left shoulder.

The creature snarled at the soldiers and raised it's head up high.

GGGGGRRRRRAAAAAAWWWWWHHHHHHH!

Opening it's mouth a large echoing sound exited right out of it's maw, making the soldiers, Lepidolite, and the metal canine shield themselves from it's roar. It's roar even sent ripples through the big lake behind it and violently made the leaves from the bushes and trees shake.

Lowering it's head the creature closed it's maw, halting it's roar yet snarled right at the soldiers. Putting her arms down Lepidolite soon pushed herself forward, locking her eyes onto the creature. Skipping among the grass she shifted her lower body down and planted her hands onto the grass before turning herself over so her feet would go back onto the grass. Repeating her movements over and over she came in close to the creature and pushed herself off of the grass with her hands before twisting herself midair and stretching her leg out.

POW!

On contact her foot connected with the creature's, pushing it slightly away from the soldiers. Landing back on the ground Lepidolite started swaying her body back and forth. Shaking it's head the creature soon put it's attention onto her and starting charging, but right when it was coming at her she shifted her body to the left, moving right out of the way alongside the soldiers. Passing right by them the creature soon came into contact with a nearby tree, sending it's horns right into it's bark.

"E` hora de fazer valer a pena." Lepidolite announced in Portuguese.

Raising out her right arm her Gemstone started to glow and from it a small fan came out of it. Taking it into her hand she opened it up a she swayed her body.

Twisting her body she raised out her arms and started lowering her upper-body before raising up her lower-body and spinning her legs. Shifting herself she turned and spun her body again and again and again. With each spin her fan started to get covered in a pink glow. Lowering her upper-body she pushed herself into the air, rotating her legs over and over and over, making her way toward the stuck creature.

As soon as her legs made contact with the ground she hurled her right arm out, sending a large pink air slash right at the creature.

POOF!

Shooting through the air the air slash sliced off the creature's torso, sending it to the ground right before the rest of it's body exploded in a puff of pink smoke. It's Gemstone was the only thing remaining of it as it then landed right onto the grass near the tree.

Dismissing her fan, Lepidolite rushed up to the Gemstone and picked it up before encasing it in a pink bubble before tapping it's top and sending it away.

Turning her body around she locked her eyes onto the soldiers and the metal canine before approaching them.

"Todos bem?" Lepidolite asked in Portuguese.

The soldiers nodded their heads.

"Nos somos." Soldier#1 replied in Portuguese.

"Foi uma Capoeria impressionate." Soldier#2 added in Portuguese.

"Obrigado." Lepidolite said in Portuguese. " Mais alguma coisa acontecendo?"

The soldiers shook their heads.

Lepidolite smirked and nodded her head. Turning her eyes she directed them onto the metal canine. Raising out her hand she placed it right onto the canine's head, slowly rubbing it.

"Seja um bom menino." She said softly in Portuguese.

"Illogico." The metal canine replied.

Small giggles exited her mouth. Removing her hand from it she then summoned out her Warp Whistle. With everything taken care of there was no need for her to stick around. Putting the whistle to her lips she blew right into it and got covered in a pink glow before disappearing.
