"No fear of success," Tony and Sam joked (to their surprise) before they, along with everyone else, heard the scream of a teenage girl that took away any fun from the joke
"Have you had brain surgery!?" Sally Avril shouted
"He did," Gwen and Harry replied, seeing them a few feet away
"Why the hell do you think I would ever date the school's champion nerd?!" Sally declared as she was pointing her finger at Peter and making him back away.
"Well... that could have gone better," Sam commented at the girl's attitude
"I should have waited for it" Peter couldn't help but say
"Don't worry, that colonizer looks like a bitch," the African princess commented at the attitude of the blonde colonizer girl.
"Shuri!" the prince of Wakanda complained to his sister for her way of expressing herself
"What? It's true!"
"Don't be discouraged, boy. There are more fish in the sea," Lang said, noticing that Peter's face showed his opinions and feelings
"She didn't have to be so rude," Steve said
"They're teenagers, idiocy is normal for most of them, Steve," Natasha said
As soon as the screen, as it was the first day of school, other teenagers realized what had happened
"Hey, Rand, Parker is flirting with your girl," said one of the athletes who had blonde hair, which Peter heard and looked nervously at Randolph Robertson.
"Rand, I-I didn't know you two were..." the brunette tried to explain to himself
"It's okay," the African-American boy said calmly.
"He's very calm," some of the men commented
"Well, he's one of those who isn't an idiot," Hill said
"Are you okay?! Don't you mind?!" asked a surprised Sally at what her boyfriend said
"Why? Do you want to go out with him?"
"I want to live on a Parker-free planet, thank you very much," she said, looking at Peter Parker
"Don't listen to her," Shuri commented when she saw that Peter tensed a little at the blonde's opinions on the screen
T'Challa looked at his sister with a raised eyebrow, finding something peculiar about his sister's way of acting
The blond boy who spoke earlier grabbed Peter by the front of his short-sleeved shirt, "Lucky you didn't try this with my girl, Parker. If you come within a mile of Liz..." the blond threatened
"Now they're being ridiculous or stupid," Hill commented dryly, while Natasha thought the same thing.
"I agree," several of the men commented
"Neanderthal," Shuri commented at the blond boy's attitude
"They're normal teenagers," Black Panther said to his sister's remarks, but agreed with the opinions expressed
"Am I the only one who's getting bored of this part?" a bored Fury remarked dryly, but no one answered
"I guess you'll have to deal with sons-in-law like that in a few years, Legolas," Tony joked to Hawkeye, who glared at him, but neither realized that the comment made Lang a little anxious
"Back off, Flash. I won't be your punching bag anymore. Things have changed"
"Flash?!" exclaimed the arachnid at how different his schoolmate looks
"I guess it doesn't look like the one you know," Shuri said
"Not at all," said Peter, not knowing how to describe the radical difference.
Flash smiled before pushing Peter and making him trip over another teen boy, who was on his hands and knees behind Peter, making him fall and hit his shoulders and the back of his head on the fountain.
"Did you hear him threaten me, folks?" said Flash at the same time as he stole Peter's lunch, taking dessert and giving the sandwich to whoever helped him. "Hmm... Tasty"
"Oh, my lunch."
The spectators shook their heads at the attitude of the blonde, who had no idea that he was bothering a superhuman, nor how lucky he was that said superhuman restrained himself.
"He's pretty sensible about keeping who he is a secret," Bucky said, though he had other opinions as well
"Do you go through something like that in your own school?" Lang asked the arachnid himself, although he thought it was so, since he himself went through similar things with the popular kids when he was a student, but he asked because times have changed
"Something like that... it's more with social media that they bother others, not much physically," said the boy with spider powers, remembering what his Midtown classmates are like, but also remembering how different his school is from the counterpart he is seeing that looks like a more normal school than his that is the best science and technology high school in New York
The next scene on screen opens with the door of a warehouse opening and showing a type of radio on a stool, as four men enter
"Let's go. Big Man wants to talk"
They saw the man from before with the metal knuckles, who spoke again when he turned on the device
Fury welcomed the change on the screen, leaving the teenage drama
"All enforcers are present, boss."
"Thank you, Hammerhead. Gentlemen, I'll get straight to the point. For the past four months, a plague has ruined our operations. At first, I could hardly believe the reports" Big-man spoke through the device
"I thought the boys were trying to scam us. I had to be a little rough to make sure they were sincere," Hammerhead said
"Establishing movement patterns took the whole summer. But last night we had the confirmation. Spider-Man is real," Bigman said as Hammerhead gave the men pictures of Spider-Man)
"And you want the enforcers to scare this spider here?" said the trio leader
"No, Montana. I want you to crush it"
CLAP!
Everyone heard Tony slapping his face hard, so they turned to look at him
"Tony?"
"Stark?"
Several of the onlookers asked
"Nothing, it's just that the kid, he seems like a big magnet for trouble," said Iron-man who never thought that the boy he went to recruit (with 'slight' blackmail) would turn out to be like this
The rest understood the millionaire's opinion and several couldn't help but think that this was just the tip of the iceberg regarding Spider-man, with Nick Fury being the only one who was completely sure that Stark was not wrong, while at the same time he was complaining mentally that the boy has the luck of his parents
As for the screen, it changed back to high school.
"Chapter one for tomorrow, ladies and gentlemen. Mr. Parker, Miss Stacy. One moment, please," The Professor said before those mentioned left, who approached the professor while the others left "I wonder if any of you remember the field trip we took last year to Dr. Curt Connors' lab at Empire State University?"
Perter remembers when the spider bit his hand, changing his DNA and his life. "Trust me, that's an excursion I'll never forget."
"Is that how you got them?" asked Lang, surprised when the screen showed a spider that seemed to be exposed to a kind of energy
"Was that radiation?!" exclaimed an incredulous Shuri when she noticed a certain symbol in the area and the machines "Are they idiots?! They didn't take the necessary precautions" she couldn't believe her eyes, and she wasn't the only one, before everyone turned to look at Peter
"How are you alive?!" several asked the Parker
"A mini-Hulk" Tony couldn't help but say it when he noticed the similarity, but on a much smaller scale
"Please NO," commented Hill, they did not need to go through the same disaster, which was the green giant in the first years
"Me neither. Dr. Connors' research was exciting"
"I'm glad you feel that way. Because it's offering two internships to promising students. I recommended my two star students. They start this afternoon"
"The spider wasn't radioactive, well I don't know," Parker said, somewhat nervous that everyone focused on him and stopped paying attention to the screen
"How do you not know, kid?" Sam asked
"It was on an excursion to a Science and Technology Expo, many companies were there, Rand Enterprises, Pym Technologies, Roxxon Corporation, Stark Industries and several others. I don't know where the spider came from"
Peter's lack of knowledge of the Spider's origin caused everyone doubt and concern.
"I think it would be better if you investigate all those companies," T'Challa said to the others, who agreed.
As for the screen, they had been mostly ignoring, it changed to show Toomes donning his flight suit and before departing in the direction of Osborn, before switching back into a huge apartment.
But the sight of the suit caught Sam's full attention followed by Natasha, Steve, Bucky as they noticed the resemblance to the equipment Sam uses to fly.
"Ah! Thank you for letting me kill time at your house, Harry. I don't have to be in the lab for another hour" said the chestnut as he sat down in one of the armchairs
"I'm surprised you're not in the school paper. "Aren't you his star photographer or something?" Harry asked his best friend
"Not anymore. Anyone can take pictures of Flash jumping across the field, I'm busy doing something better," said the teenager with spider powers
"Is this part of the same reality where Sally Avril is you..." with a smile Harry left the question hanging in the air
Peter still found it surprising and hard to believe what the other Flash looked like, but he was also trying to remember the name of the blonde girl, who rejected his counterpart, being almost certain that he had heard it at his school, but the girl's appearance on screen did not resemble anyone from his highschool
"A small stumble. But at least this lab work solves Parker's money problems. That is, look around. This all belongs to your father, and he's a scientist"
"I don't think he'll feel the same way if he really knows what Osborn's like," Clint commented when he noticed the admiration in the voice of Parker's counterpart, remembering what they saw earlier with Norman Osborn, who was undoubtedly the father of the red-haired boy
"The boy is young, he has a lot to learn," Natasha commented on the idealism and trust in people that the teenager has.
"Boys, come here!" they both heard Norman's voice, and both of them looking toward the terrace door in surprise
The two walk outside and meet Mr. Osborn on the balcony.
"I couldn't help but hear you" Harry's father said
"I'm sorry, Mr. Osborn, I-" Peter began
"Don't you dare apologize, Peter. I never do. What's that lab work about?
"Yes, that's clear to us," said Tony, who like the rest remembered what happened to the man they saw a few minutes ago flying with a technology similar to the one used by Falcón, when he went to claim Oscorp
"You'll get what you sowed," Shuri gave her opinion
"I doubt it Shuri, the boy's counterpart doesn't know what his friend's father did" T'Challa contradicted his sister's belief, having an idea of how the Spider-man they were seeing would react.
"At ESU, working with Dr. Connors," Peter replied, not noticing that his friend was looking down with a resigned look
"Connors, huh?, A great opportunity," Norman left before looking at his son, "were you considered for honor, Harry?"
"Oh, no, sir," replied the son meekly
"He's the father of the year."
"And speaking of difficult parents"
"He's the best father in the world."
"He is given paternity"
Some of the spectators commented sarcastically, at Norman's actions towards his son
"It's not a big deal, sir" Peter said when he saw how his friend reacted, "but thank you... We-We'll leave him alone now" said the brown-eyed man before hearing a shout
"OSBORN!"
"Aaaaannd there he is," Tony said as he and the other spectators saw Toomes lunging at Norman Osborn, grabbing him by the shoulders and carrying him off the balcony, leaving the two surprised young men behind.
"Dad!" shouted Harry before they ran with Peter to the edge of the balcony. What do we do?, What do we do?" asked the redhead with panic and fear
"Call the police! Do it! Go!" said the chestnut tree, to which his friend immediately did
Peter waited until his friend left before taking off his shoes and jumping off the balcony.
"Is he's going to...?" /Did he...—
"Yes/It looks like it/He will"
They were the comments that were released in the face of the actions of that Peter Parker, where some like Natasha mentally noted mistakes that the chestnut made or precautions that he should have taken, such as making sure that there weren't security cameras inside the house that could see him, although apparently there were none.
While the screening returned with Mr. Osborn and his kidnapper...
"Tell the truth, Osborn. Can your tech flight do this?" said Toomes before making sharp turns and somersaults, making Norman scream
"AHH! Toomes?! Norman shouted during the flight, before recognizing his hijacker
"I'm not Toomes anymore. I'm not what you call me. I'm the Vulture," the kidnapper spoke before being interrupted
"I called you a buzzard" interrupted his captive
"What?! Toomes asked, surprised.
"You can't even remember a name."
"He shouldn't have said that," commented some of those present at Norman Osborn's proud attitude, which in the situation he was in should not have shown
And they were right when they saw that 'The Vulture' glared at him angrily before swinging his body forward and throwing Osborn into the sky, causing him to scream in the air as he spins before starting to fall, but he was caught again by Toomes
"Toomes, stop!, What will all this accomplish?" said Norman, changing his attitude because of how close he was to being dropped by the aforementioned
"A means to an end, Osborn. Something you know well. You will announce to the world that Adrian Toomes is the genius behind tech-flight... You'll pay me everything you owe me. And you'll publicly apologize for stealing my inventi-"
"I never apologize, old man," Norman complained, regaining his pride at what his captor was asking
"Stupid," said the African princess to Osborn's attitude, as did some others, although his brother let go of the way she expressed it, although perhaps it was because he was resigned
"Maybe he's an old man... but I'm not very patient," Adrian replied before flying higher and dropping Osborn
"¡AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" Osborn screamed as I fell, but Spider-Man saved him by catching him.
"Oh, gentlemen, you play extreme hot potato," said Spider-Man
"Your other self should have dropped it."
The Wakandan heir sighed at his younger sister's attitude, though part of him wondered if she was acting a little more... cynical in trying to ignore everything they've seen before about magic
"What's that?" These heavens are mine now!" the vulture shouted before chasing Spider-man and Norman
"Maybe you're right. I only rent," the arachnid joked as he swayed and shifted which arm he was carrying Osborn with
"What are you babbling? Put me down!" demanded Norman
"Hey, you're the rudest damsel in trouble I've ever rescued. Also the ugliest, the heaviest and the first," Spider-man said as he swung and switched arms he used to carry Osborn, over and over again
"Who are you?!" the vulture and Osborn sued
"I'm your friendly neighbor, Spider-Man, of course," replied the arachnid
"Spider-Man? I thought you were a myth!" exclaimed Toomes as he continued to chase the two
"I need a press agent."
"He should concentrate on what he's doing and not be joking," Sam said
"From what we've seen of his other versions, I think that's the way he acts," Steve said
"Oh, to relax," said Vision, who had remained silent so far
