Chapter 55 Return of a Scientist

In the morning Rai was walking down the streets with Cayna since he wanted to catch up with her.

"So you've been here for a long time." He said.

"Yeah, after I... You know, i've been trying this new life here." Cayna said.

"Well at least you have a chance compared to others." He said.

"Yeah." She nodded.

They went out and saw Caerina fight against a beast with her soldiers as they slashed at it, Caerina cuts it in half.

"It's done." She puts her sword away.

Rai smiles but then he saw something that made him shocked. "Look out!" He charges foward pushing her down as a pink blast goes by hitting a building making it explode.

"What?!" Cayna got surprised.

"What was that?" Caerina looks around.

Rai senses something and looks up with a glare. "Szayelaporro!"

In the sky was Szayel smiling down at them with his arms crossed. "Well hello Rai."

"You know him?" Cayna looks at Rai.

"Yes, even though I didn't want." Rai said.

"Oh Rai, you wound me." Szayel chuckles.

"How the heck are you even here? Last time I heard from you, you were killed." Rai said.

"What?!" Caerina and Cayna said.

"He's dead!" One of the girl soldiers.

"Well... If you must know, let's say a ally helped me come back to the world of the living." Szayel said as he comes down to look at Rai. "I must say your energy you have now makes me wanna study it."

Caerina goes foward with her blade. "If your a enemy of my grandfather than I will defeat you."

"Grandfather? Well how time flies by." Szayel chuckles.

Caerina charges foward charging up her blade.

"Caerina no!" Rai said.

Szayel takes out his zanpakuto and blocks her sword with ease surprising her.

The arrancar smirks. "If you think that would take me down, then your mistaken."

He then blasted her away with a cero, Caerina grunts and falls down.

"Caerina!" Rai checks her.

Cayna frowns and raises her sword up. "Magic Skill: Rapid Lightning Zan Lezi Sos !" She makes lightning to form ahead of the shi-shi lion.

It goes towards Szayel who makes a shield to block it and he got pushed back with some damage done.

"Impressive, it seems this girl is pretty strong." Szayel said.

"Freeze!" She tries to freeze him but Szayel uses Sonido to dodge it and Cayna got surprised. He's so fast.

He goes to attack her from behind and she turns around to block his sword.

"Not bad, but I am not even trying." Szayel said.

Rai kicks him away from her and stands next to Cayna.

Szayel got up and frowns. "So you wish to interfer."

"Give it up Szayel, I know your not even taking this seriously." Rai said.

"Wait, he's hidding something." She said.

"Yes, he can transform." Rai said surprising Cayna.

Szayel grins. "Then let me show you." He lifts his sword up. "Sip, Fornicaras."

"Ew!" Cayna said.

Skargo, Mai-Mai came with soldiers and they saw Szayel eat his sword before he start to change.

He was now in his released form and smiles. "Now Rai, shall we have our rematch."

"What a disgusting form, father dearest will take him down." Skargo said.

Szayel looks at the two making them scared. "Father, oh I see, your his children. Now that makes me want to experiment on you."

They got scared and Mai-Mai said: "Experiment!"

"Don't youd are touch them!" Rai said and he summons his chalice belt.

Cayne got shocked to see it. "Wait!"

Rai takes out the card. "Henshin!" He scans it.

CHANGE!

He transforms into Kamen Rider Chalice.

"Rai's a Kamen Rider!" Cayna said.

"Papa has a magical armor!" Mai-Mai got excited.

Szayel looks back at Chalice. "So you finally changed, good!" He sends his black liquid.

"Watch out!" Chalice said as he, Cayna and Caerina dodged it.

Mai-Mai and Skargo ducked while the soldiers got hit making clones of themselves.

They got surprised and Szayel laughs. "They will do!"

The soldiers attacked they're copies making them get distracted while more copies charged at Chalice and Cayna.

She summons fire and burns some of them away while Chalice takes out his two swords and slashes many of them.

He sees Szayel charges at him and he uses his bow to shoot at him, Szayel shoots ceros to counter him as they went around.

Chalice then scans a card.

CHOP!

He gets stronger and does a karate chop hitting Szayel and he grunts.

"Not bad, but i've adapted since last time." Szayel said.

He then tries to grab him with his tendrils making Chalice jump away and attach his rouzer on the bow to use another card.

BIO!

He shoots vines to restrain Szayel.

"Oh please." Szayel powers up to break free from them.

FIRE!

The bow gets covered in flames as he uses his own magic to make it stronger, he charges at Szayel and slashes at him making the arrancar to use his wings to protect himself.

Chalice then takes out his zanpakuto slashing at Szayel surprising him.

"Where did you get a zanpakuto?!" Szayel said.

"I got one on my way." Chalice said as he clashed with Szayel again.

Szayel gets sent back and then smirks, he then charges up a cero but this wasn't a normal one.

"No way! A Gran Ray Cero!" Chalice said.

"Of course, do you think you can protect your family from this along with you!" Szayel said and shoots the cero.

Chalice charges up his Zanpakuto with Kido and magic to power it up, he shoots a beam as it clashed with the Cero.

They grunted before it got destroyed pushing the two back.

Szayel got up and dusted himself. "So... You are able to combine all of your energies, not bad."

Chalice got up and he grunted from the pain.

Cayna then comes down towards Szayel and slashes at him making the Arrancar scream.

She saw that his skin was durable. "He has strong skin."

"Why you!" Szayel goes to attack but then a cero oscuras came down making him dodge it.

He looks up and saw Ulquiorra. "Ulquiorra."

"It seems your return." He said.

Szayel got worried and escapes surprising Cayna before she looks at Ulquiorra. He made that guy run away just be appearing.

"Papa, is he a friend of yours?" Mai-Mai goes to ask Chalice.

"Yes... He's someone I met a long time ago." Chalice said.

He wonders how the heck did Ulquiorra come here, did he find the portal too.

Cayna looks at Chalice and has a look that says, she wants to know everything later and he nodded at her.

They went to the city and Ulquiorra follows them with Chalice thinking of a explanation and how did Szayel get here, theres only one person he knows that can bring him back.

Note: Now the true danger of the arc has appeared outside of Shalltear, and it first came in the form of Szayel's return, as he pushed Rai and only really escaped because Ulquiorra appeared.
