Chapter 73 A Brave Heart

After camp Rai and Sunset were walking down the road together.

"So your okay?" he asked.

"Well having many girls is something I didn't expect, but is there anyone else besides Cayna?" She questions him.

"Well... Theres another." He admitted.

"Well I would like to meet her." Sunset said.

"But she's in another world." He said.

"Oh, well if you can get to her invite me." Sunset goes off.

"How am I going to find Merida?" He talks to himself.

"I can help." He looks to see Kouga.

"Kouga?" He said.

"I managed to find a way, so wanna see your other girlfriend?" Kouga chuckles.

Rai frowns but accepted it, Kouga makes a portal and they went through it.

They arrived at Merida's world and Rai looks around since they were at a cliff with a waterfall nearby.

"I'm back." He smiles.

"Well enjoy your time, we can use this area for your training." Kouga said.

"I wish Gizmo was here." Rai said.

"Oh you mean this little guy." Kouga brings out Gizmo from behind surprising Rai. "He followed me."

"Rai." Gizmo smiles.

Rai picked him up and he said to Kouga: "I'll be off."

Kouga nodded and Rai runs off towards the kingdom.

"She must be one lucky girl." Kouga smiles.

Rai goes down the path. "Okay, if I remember it's this way."

Gizmo saw a whisp and he makes sounds pointing at it.

"The whisps!" He said.

Rai follows them and wonders where they will take him, he arrives at the stone circle.

"This place again?" He said.

Rai looks around and sees nothing as he just sits down. "Are they making fun of me?"

He noticed the stone that Mordu was crushed by and it's still there.

"Man for a bear it's pretty strong." He said.

He sits on the ground with Gizmo as they wonder why the whisps brought them here.

Meanwhile

Merida was running down the road with Angus as she shoots with her bow.

"Okay, another shot." She said.

Merida then looks at her bow and it has the symbol of Blade since she made it to remind her of Rai.

"I wonder if Rai will come back." She smiles a bit.

Angus kept going before a whisp appeared scaring him as he stops, Merida got sent flying and screams.

Rai looks up and saw Merida coming down towards him.

"Merida!" He said before she crashed on to him.

He opens his eyes and saw they're lips connected because of it.

They got up and looked at each other.

"Uh, hey Merida." He smiles nervously.

Merida smiles. "Rai!" She jumps towards him.

He holds as they spin around and she kisses him many times.

She stops and chuckles. "Sorry."

"It's okay." He smiles back at her.

"Hi." She saw Gizmo on the ground.

"Oh hey Gizmo." She picked him up and rubs his head.

Angus came and Rai saw him. "Oh hey Angus." He rubs his mane.

"So you came back just to see me?" Merida asked.

"Well, yeah since I was starting to miss you." He shrugs.

"Well, your a real lover boy." She laughs.

He frowns before she drags him to her horse and they went off.

Eleanor was sitting at a chair as she reads a scroll and she heard Angus.

"Oh Merida has returned." She goes to see her.

She was outside and saw Angus stop and she got surprised to see Rai and Gizmo.

"Rai?" She said.

"Hello Queen Eleanor." He bows.

"Hi." Gizmo waves again.

Rai gets off with Merida and said: "Well we came for a visit since it's been some time."

"Oh, then welcome, you can stay in the same room if you wish." She said.

"Thank you." He nodded.

The triplets pass by and they saw Rai and waved.

"Hey little guys." Rai waves.

Fergus came. "Why, it's Rai."

"Uh, yes sir." Rai said.

"Well welcome back, it seems you couldn't be far from Merida." He laughs making the two blush.

"Anyway, let's go." Merida takes him inside and they went inside of the castle.

Eleanor saw Gizmo chase them but she picks him up. "I'll help you."

He got happy as she carries him inside too.

"I think this will be a good thing for Merida." Eleanor said.

Rai and Merida went down the Halls and She said: "Well I didn't expect you to return today."

"Well I wanted to surprise you, also..." He takes out a blue feather and presents it to her making her gasp. "From home, theres a legend about these, should someone offer the feather they are bound by destiny."

"So you came here to propose to me?!" She said.

Maudie was passing by and she gasped hearing that before running off.

"No, it's more like a sign of love, marriage is still the old fashion way, it's just something to show how much I love you." He tried to explain it.

"Oh I see." Merida takes it. "Still to think a little feather makes such a big thing."

"It's from a really rare bird." Rai said.

"Really? It must be the rarest bird ever." She said.

"Yup, and hunting is a crime." He said.

"Well good my thing dad isn't there." She said.

He nodded and they went foward together.

Eleanor was at a room knitting before Maudie came in.

She whispers something into her hear making her gasp.

"Really? Then we shall prepare a celebration." She smiles. "To think Rai would come and take her hand."

She was happy that Rai is starting to take action and she can't wait for the big day.

"Go warn the others but keep this a secret to most." Eleanor said and Maudie nodded before going off.

Eleanor also leaves since she needs to tell her husband about this.

Note: Rai's back in the world of Brave and something surprising will happen to the couple.
