I do not own The Hunger Games.

An outcry had run through the Capitol after the horror of The Hunger Games Simulator Hacking. So many of their children were dead, and so many families were angry at the loss of their children.

The fact that most of the perpetrators of the attack were dead meant little. They wanted blood to pay for the lives taken.

The Hunger Games Simulator had been shut down for good. Many teenagers in the Capitol were bitterly disappointed, but their parents had forbidden them playing, and no politician would risk another attack.

There had been some talk of forcing District children through what the Capitol children had endured, but others, loudest of all the victims themselves, were against such a thing.

And so, barely a month after the attack, The Gamemakers had got to work on a very special one-off arena.
