Alix was sitting on a park bench looking at her new book when a shadow came over her. "Hey, Mini-Me," a voice all too similar to her own said.

Alix looked up to see her future self standing over her. "Bunnyx!" she cried, scrambling up. "What are you doing here? Is it another future akuma? Do you need my help? When am I getting my Miraculous?"

The time traveler laughed. "Slow down," she said. "And in reverse order, you'll get it when its time, yes I do need your help, it's not an akuma, and I am here about that book you have."

Alix blinked. "The book? It's just about cartoons…"

"You haven't gotten all the way through it yet," Bunnyx replied. "Fluff, Counterclockwise." After the flash of light had faded away, she pulled her past self to her feet. "Now come along, we've got to go."

"Go where?" Present Alix asked.

"We're going to go see a masseur."

Nino was confused.

He had barely taken three steps out of his house when Alix had appeared out of nowhere and grabbed his arm. His protests had fallen on deaf ears as the short girl dragged him down the street, occasionally consulting her phone for directions. When she finally let go, the two of them were in front of a storefront, leaving him totally confused.

"Nino!"

Turning around, he saw his girlfriend. "Alya!" he called back. He then noticed that two people were missing. "Where's Adrien and Marinette?"

"Long story," said the mystery woman that was just behind his girlfriend. "But for now, get in the shop."

It… has been a while.

There is still so much more that I don't remember, Dot. But more memories are coming back each day. It comes slowly, but I am regaining my sense of self.

It's these two kids I found in the studio. The longer I hang around them, the more like myself I feel. Them and the two fairies that they hold. One calls herself the 'Quamie(need to check spelling) of Creation.' The other is the 'Quamie(?) of Destruction. The girl and the boy say they are heroes. Like Superman and Batman! The girl claims that she will be able to fix everything in the studio!

I have to get them out of here.

Hurt.

Everything hurt.

It hurt like it never had before. Never in his existence had it hurt this much.

It was a searing pain, drilling into his head, clenching at the empty space where his heart should be, burning at his stump. He curled up in his chair, trying to will away the pain.

The pain didn't go away. But it started to change. It burned away the haze that clouded his mind for oh so long. Thoughts he had long put away returned, making themselves known.

Thoughts that brought with them… sadness. And despair.

And hope.

Joey Drew seethed as more of his paper blackened and crumbled away. That cat had struck again, this time infecting the villain of this tale.

This situation was requiring more and more of his attention, leaving him unable to spare more than the slightest glance towards his other two wildcards. Oh well, he would leave them alone for a little while. What were the odds they would meet?

Finishing inking a line, he breathed on the box he drew on the paper to dry it and watched as the rest of the picture filled in. soon, it showed the two strange children sitting around a table in Boris' safehouse. Or at least the limited view he could get through the protections. Words also began to write themselves on the lines he had provided.

The spell had a limited range, but he was able to pick up the gist. Unfortunately, most of it was in French, which was equally frustrating. Then, there was a sentence in English that caught his attention.

T: When the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous are combined, the user is granted one wish.

He clutched the edge of his writing desk. The Ladybug Miraculous? He had thought it was a myth, the delusions of a madman, written in the notes he had painstakingly decoded.

Then again, everything else had worked.

He began to scheme, focusing on the two children. This would take patience and planning, but in the end it would all be worth it. The Miraculous would be his and he would complete his masterpiece.

After all, dreams come true.

I remember a way.

The old freight elevator. If my memory is right, it should take us all the way to the ground floor, and the boy can break the walls and we can get out.

And then we get help and come save everyone else.

There is just one problem. It is in Heavenly Toys. The Angel's domain. If we attract her attention, well… someone is going to lose their head.

With any luck, we will be out of this place before she knows we were there.

Down in the trashed Sound Department, one of the closed doors tipped over until it crashed onto the ground.

Henry gingerly stepped over the fallen door and into the room beyond. The destruction here wasn't as bad as it had been on the first floor, but the strange force that had made a large hole in the studio floor had been at work here, if the loose doors and physics were any indication.

The red body shapes on the wall were also new.

Henry hefted the ax he had found and looked around. This time, he found footprints in the ink, cat paws and a strange 'S'-like shape. Humming, he placed his own shoe next to one of the more complete prints.

"The hell?" he asked himself. The mysterious prints were tiny, absolutely dwarfed by his boots. Had a couple of kids gotten into the studio? And if they did, how did they cause all of this? He had to catch up with-

A soup can rolled out from behind the corner.

Henry was immediately on guard. "Boris? Is that you?" he asked.

A feminine chuckle came from around the corner. "No, Henry, it said. "Not this time."

"Who's there?" he asked as the figure came around the corner. "How do you know me?"

A woman stepped into the light, ink covering her right side and a tiny creature hovering beside her head. "My name is Audrey," she said. "It is good to see you again."

The second Interlude is complete.

Ladybug will return…

AN: This chapter fought me hard. this was originally a section where the kids and Bunnyx talked with Master Fu, but I felt that it took away from the main part of the interlude. That section will receive its own story sometime soon. Stay safe everyone!
