Chapter 2

A night of passion leads to a surprise.

As the couple cuddled with each other in Eda's nest. Raine is becoming turned on by the sound of the rain, the crashing of the waves of the nearby boiling sea, and by the creaking of the trees as they moved in the breeze. And they are turned on by how good Eda looks in her nightgown. So Raine started kissing Eda on the cheek. Eda chuckled and asked "What's with you Rainestorm?"

"Sorry Eda I can't help it. I'm just so turned on right now." replied Raine

Soon Raine and Eda got up and got dressed. Eda found Owlbert and let him outside. The couple went to the kitchen and made breakfast together. Then they sat down and ate together. After they were done eating Raine. Realized what time it's getting to be.

"Oh my I have to be going. I will see you again soon." gasped Raine

They quickly gave Eda a kiss and left. Eda just smiled and cleaned up the breakfast dishes. A few weeks have passed and Eda is out and about. When suddenly she started not feeling so well. So she decided to head toward the clinic. Before she went in she put up her cloak's hood. Eda went up the desk and said "I would like to see a healer. I'm not feeling so well." The witch at the desk said "Have seat over there. And a healer will be with you. As soon as possible." Eda found a chair and sat down. And as she waited she started feeling worse and worse. Ten minutes later a healer came out and went up to Eda.

"Come with me miss." stated the healer

Eda stood and followed the healer to a room. She sat down on the bed. Then the healer said "Ok let's see what could be bothering you." He had Eda lay down and got to work. The healer waved his hands over Eda and said "So far I don't see anything of concern. Soon he got to Eda's mid-section and stopped. He smiled and said "Well I think I just found out. Why you're not feeling well."

"What's wrong with me?" asked Eda

"Nothing is wrong with you miss you're pregnant." stated the healer

"Oh my Titan are you sure?" asked Eda

"Yes I'm sure." replied the healer

The healer gave Eda an herb that will help with her nausea. Eda thanked him, paid the bill, then left. As she walked home she thought about that night. That she and Raine has sex and doesn't remember if either of them. Used a protection spell so that Eda wouldn't get pregnant. But as she headed home Eda likes the idea of becoming a mother. Because up until now she wasn't sure. If she even get pregnant. Considering her curse and there is family history of witches being barren.
