Chapter 10
Getting Ready.
A week has passed and the leaders of the three other. Wild witch encampments have arrived at Athena's encampment. Athena is there to greet Alexander, Logan, and Nora. Alexander has 50 witches, Logan has 48, Nora has 42, and Athena has 40. All together they have 220 witches. Athena smiled and said "It's good to see all of you. I'll have to send a message to my Aunt. To let her know that you all are here. And see how many witches she has recruited." Nora raised an eyebrow and said "Considering your mother was Eda Clawthorne. That means you Aunt is Lilith Clawthorne. Gwendolyn and Dell Clawthorne are your grandparents. And of course there is Raine's side of the family."
Athena nodded and said "Your right Nora I know the Clawthorne side of the family. Better than the Whispers side of the family." Logan snorted and asked "Wasn't Lilith the head of the Emperor's coven?" Alexander nodded and replied "Yes she was she also has a bounty on her head. We should capture her and turn her in for the bounty." Athena glared at Alexander and Logan, and spat "As much as I don't care much for my Aunt right now! But she is suffering just as much as the rest of the family! Plus it was her idea to gather as many witches. As we can to take down Belos! So leave Aunt Lilith alone!" Not wanting to mess with Eda's daughter. Logan and Alexander didn't say anything more.
Athena got out a piece of paper and wrote a quick note to Lilith. She gave it to Zeus and he flew off. Athena knows that she could send a message to Lilith on Penstagram. But to be safe than sorry they. Keep in touch through letters. Zeus flew to the owl house and flew into the house through a open window. He found Lilith and hooted. Lilith heard Zeus so she turned and took the note from him. She read the note and said "I'll go get the witches that I have recruited." Zeus hooted and flew back out the open window. Lilith summoned her staff and said "Hooty I have to head out. Please keep an eye on Luz and King for me."
"No problem Lu Lu." assured Hooty
Lilith went outside and got on her staff. She has to go to the night market, Palm Stings, and the toes. By the time Lilith got to Athena's encampment it's dark out. Luckily when they arrived there is a big bon fire going. Lilith spotted Athena, walked over to her and said "Hello Athena dear." Athena saw Lilith and smiled. She went over to Lilith gave her a hug and asked "How are you Aunt Lilith?" Lilith hugged back and replied "I'm doing alright. I brought 30 more witches." Athena pulled away and said "That's great now we have a total of 250 witches. That will be more than enough to take out Belos and the coven heads." Lilith nodded and said "We'll have to make sure that everyone can fight. And come up with a plan."
Athena also nodded and said "Not a problem Aunt Lilith." Lilith gave her niece one more hug then pulled away.
"Well I should get home. Have a good night dear." stated Lilith
With that said Lilith got on her staff and headed home. Once at the owl house Hooty let her in. Lilith went upstairs and looked in Luz's room. She started to worry when she did see Luz and King in the room. But she has a feeling she knows where they are. Lilith went to Eda's bedroom and walk up to the nest. Lilith looked in the nest and smiled. When she saw King and Luz cuddled up together fast asleep. Lilith hasn't touched Eda's room since Eda's passing. Still smiling Lilith decided to get into the nest with them. Lilith got into the nest and got comfortable next to Luz. She put her arm across Luz. Then she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
Two months have passed and Lilith and Athena think that everyone is ready. Today is the day they plan on taking on Belos, the coven heads, and coven scouts. Before leaving the owl Lilith summoned her staff. She made sure that she had plenty of elixir and glyphs. Then she went outside and said "Hooty take good care of and protect Luz and King while I'm gone." Hooty nodded and said "You can count on me Lu Lu." Lilith got on her staff and flew off. Five minutes later Lilith arrived at Athena's encampment. She got off of her staff and found Athena. She walked to her niece and asked "Are we ready?" Athena saw Lilith, smiled and replied "Yes we are ready."
Lilith also smiled and said "Good let's do this." They gathered everyone and they headed toward the castle. On their way through Bonesborough a coven scout. Saw the large group of witches. And noticed which way they were going. He paid for his supplies then high tailed it to the castle. Once he arrived at the castle he ran to the throne room.
"Emperor Belos, Emperor Belos I need to tell you something!" yelled the coven scout
"Scout you are interrupting my meeting." stated Belos
"Sorry for the interruption Emperor Belos. But I saw a very large group of witches. Going through Bonesborough and is headed this way. And I think I saw Lilith Clawthorne." informed the scout
"Ah it seems that Lilith has gathered. A rag tag group of witches. To avenge her sister and Raine. Go get the coven heads and the scouts. And meet me at the castle doors." mused Belos
The scout nodded and ran out of the throne room. Belos got up and headed to the castle doors. Soon the scout arrived with the coven heads and scouts. Belos noticed that Mason is missing. He figured that he too has turned against him. Belos wasn't very happy when he lost Raine, Darius, and Emberwolf. Just then Terra said "This better be good. I was taking care of my precious plants."
"Don't worry Terra you'll like this. It seems that Lilith has gathered a. Rag tag group of witch to seek revenge for her sister and Raine. I say we go out and entertain them. And show them who is in charge around here." informed Belos
Everyone nodded and followed Belos out of the castle and across the gangplank. Once across the gangplank Belos, the coven heads, and coven scouts. Can see a large group of witch. Belos can see Lilith at the head of the group. He smirked and said "Ah Lilith it seems that you. Have gathered quite the group of witched. To seek revenge for your sister and Raine." Lilith stepped forward and said "I'm surprised that you recognize me. All 250 of us are here to take you, the coven heads, and coven scouts down. To end your rule of terror and end the coven system. And it's not just me leading this group. My niece is also leading this group."
Belos raised an eyebrow and asked "Niece?" A young woman with red orange hair, sand colored skin, and light green eyes. Stepped up next to Lilith and said "That's right Belos I am the daughter of Eda Clawthorne and Raine Whispers." Belos growled and spat "That's impossible!" Lilith chuckled and said "Raine was a very smart witch. So of course they were able. To keep their relationship with Eda and their daughter a secret." Athena looked at Belos and said "I look forward to taking you and the coven heads down. Not only for my parents. But for all of the witches of the Boiling Isles." Belos extended his arms and said "Bring it on young lady. But if you win you will make the Titan very angry."
Athena shook her head and said "As far as we know the Titan is dead. And I don't believe for one minute. That you can talk to the Titan. Plus the one I think he's mad at is you. The Titan gifted us with magic. I don't think he would want us to restrict that gift. Now enough talk let's fight." With that said they attacked.
