A/N: Thanks for reading. I know it's a bit boring so far, I just needed some time to get the story set. This chapter is also short but the next few are a lot longer. Just stick with me. I'll have my first 3 chapters posted today and I'll try to update as much as possible. Keep reading!
Chapter 2
Liam was sure he was sweating and he could hear how fast his heart was beating and prayed to God that Artemis couldn't hear it too. He hadn't realized how cute she was when Kira pointed her out to Scott. But it struck him hard when she came over to them.
They didn't speak most of the way, Liam was afraid he would start babbling if he opened his mouth, but Artemis broke the silence, "So how long have you lived in Beacon Hills?"
"I've been living here for a long time, but I only transferred to this school recently."
"Oh, why?"
"I'd rather not say," he rubbed his neck.
"That's alright, I got kicked out of my old school."
"Really? What happened?"
"I'll trade my story for yours."
"Fine," he sighed, and he told her about how he was kicked out of Devenford Prep.
"Oo," she hissed between her teeth, "anger issues. We might have more in common than I thought."
"What did you do?"
"Well, there was this girl at my old school. She was so snobby and just thought she was better than everyone else. So, there was a play and I auditioned for it. I was perfect for the lead role. It was about a girl who gets bitten by a werewolf and then she has to defeat some supernatural creature. Anyway, the girl, her name is Shelly, she cheated. Her dad was the director, so of course he chose her. I was just so mad I didn't think clearly. So I attacked her. I mostly just scratched and bit her, nothing too bad. But the school decided I was too dangerous and immature and kicked me out."
"Wow."
"Yeah," they walked into the classroom and Liam sat at his desk. He motioned to the table next him and said, "You can sit next to me if you'd like."
"Thanks," she sat down and class began.

God, geometry is boring Artemis thought as she zoned out for the hundredth time that class. She looked around the room, at all the tacky maths posters and the other students who were actually interested. She sighed inwardly and turned her gaze toward Liam who had been looking at her. He quickly turned his head and looked away, she could see his cheeks redden and she laughed to herself.
Listening closely, she could hear his heart beating quickly and she struggled to keep herself quiet. She pretended to be paying attention to the class but she was actually thinking.
She knew Liam was a werewolf. Scott was one too. She didn't know how they hadn't realized that she was also a werewolf, Scott was a True Alpha for crying out loud. She thought it was cute that Liam acted the way he did around her. He must have a crush on me, she raised her hand, she needed to leave the classroom before she burst out laughing in front of everyone. She walked out of the class and continued on until she was in the woods near the school. She howled and waited.
Soon, the two teenage boys who had come to this horrible town with her showed up, "Hey Marcus, Matthew."
"What's up?" Marcus asked after nodding in greeting.
"I've just met True Alpha Scott McCall."
"You're kidding," Matthew said in awe.
"No, I met his pack and everything. It's strange though. You'd expect him to have the best team of werewolves but he only has one."
"That's some small pack."
"No, you idiot. He only has one werewolf but his pack has different supernatural creatures."
"Really?"
"Yeah, I know we're supposed to keep our werewolf selves a secret but I sneaked a peek with my werewolf eyes and one of them looks like a Kitsune. Another one smells similar to a werewolf but something's off, I think she's a coyote. But I'm pretty sure the other two are human."
"Humans, in a werewolf pack?" the boys started laughing.
"Ridiculous, right? Anyway, the werewolf's name is Liam and I think I can build the basis of a plan off him," Artemis looked down at her watch, "Gotta go. I'll tell you guys later, at home."
She stood up and ran back to the school. After class, she and Liam split up and, peeking around a corner, she saw Liam meeting with Scott for their free period. Scott greeted him warmly and seemed to really care for Liam, as if he were his younger brother. Yes, she thought to herself, this plan will work out perfectly
A/N: The next one is more exciting, I promise you. It will be the last one for now. I'll try to post maybe once or twice a week.
