Hey Everyone! Hope you're all doing well! Thank you all so much for all the support and comments, they truly make my day and I really appreciate it! 2 chapters this week because both are kinda short, but I felt like they needed to be separated. I tried to catch grammatical errors, but forgiveness may be necessary. Lots of Love - Lorna:)

Princesselsaamidala: Agreed Anakin, what are you doing?!

Guest: Obi Wan is slowly wearing away at Anakin's walls. No one can be stubborn forever. It just may take a little suffering first. I absolutely agree, Anakin's worse lies are the one he tells himself. One can only stay in darkness when they forget how the light felt.

DS2010: The worst lies are the ones you tell yourself, and Anakin lies to himself all the time. It's probably the only way he can make it through the day.

It was almost another 24 hours before Vader returned again, and Obi Wan was feeling rather irritable about it. He was grateful that there was a sink where he could get all the water he wanted, but food had been harder to come by. Anakin had the tolerance of a Bantha when it came to food. As long aș it was edible (and even sometimes when it wasn't) Anakin could eat it. Obi Wan used it find it both amusing but also a little worrisome. Apparently being a slave on Tatooine gave people stomachs of steel and immunity to various toxic chemicals. Now, Obi Wan just found it frustrating. How many expired ration bars could a person have?

Finally just relenting to being hungry, Obi Wan meditated and when he inevitable became overwhelmed by his lack of practice, he performed different lightsaber stances to move around a bit. He never thought that he could be more grateful for Vader's presence than he was when the doors finally opened.

"Where have you been." Obi Wan remarked, trying to keep his tone in check.

"Killing rebels and kicking clones." Vader spit, sarcasm dripping from his voice. "Why even bother asking?"

Obi Wan was very seriously considering smacking a Sith Lord, which deep down he knew was a bad idea, but hunger and confinement could make even the worst ideas sound tolerable. He took a deep breath and really looked at Anakin. What he saw was fairly worrisome.

"What were you doing?"

Vader didn't reply.

"Anakin, what were you doing?!"

Vader swayed on his feet ever so slightly, but he held steady.

"What do you want from me Obi Wan?" Anakin asked, his eyes flickering all shades of green. Obi Wan now realized that this was a physical representation of his padawans conflict. He tossed his master his lightsaber and a concealed dagger, hidden in the folds of his tunic. "Whatever you want, you can just take it."

Obi Wan grabbed both the weapons off the floor, but not for the reason Anakin seemed to think. He didn't want to use the weapons on his padawan, merely make sure they were well out of his grasp until he recovered from Palatine's mind games.

"I'm not going to injure you Anakin." Especially not now, when Anakin was covered in grime and blood. He couldn't decide whether he hoped it was from Anakin or some other victim. Both seemed bad.

Anakin scoffed, looking slightly unhinged. "Why not? What if I want you too?"

Obi Wan pushed the weapons further out of immediate reach, though Anakin could always grab them with the force. He took a deep breath to steady his racing heart.

"Fine." He responded, walking closer. His irritation had dissipated Anakin didn't move, but his eyes went slightly more yellow as though in anticipation of punishment. He was within arms distance when Obi Wan stopped. "What I want isn't from you Anakin, it's for you."

He put his hand on his padawans feverish cheek, the movement jerky and uncertain but it was there, and Anakin melted into the gentle touch. It was so foreign for both of them, Anakin to be cared for without abuse, and Obi Wan to reach out in such a blatant way.

"Right now, I want you to sleep." Obi wan whispered, though it had the same effect as a command. Instantly Anakin's eyes closed, his body relaxing without a fight. He slumped over, and Obi Wan lowered him onto the bed, making sure he was comfortable. He went to lay in his own makeshift bed, and slept soundly the rest of the night, albeit still hungry. He wasn't going to let that one go.
