Chapter 31: The Last Final
Both Katsuki and Shoto entered the testing ground. Soon enough the test chime sounded.
"It's about time." Said Katsuki with a grin.
"This isn't going to be easy." Said Shoto.
"Whatever." Muttered Katsuki.
However right when she said that suddenly All Might descended from the sky. When he landed there was a shock wave that stripped away the pavement from the road as well as causing untold damage.
Both magical girls were knocked down because of that.
"What the fuck!" yelled Katsuki.
"So Heroes." Said All Might truly takin on the role of a villain, "Do you really think you have a chance of stopping me!"
That was when suddenly Shoto encased All Might in a an extremely large glacier.
Both of them breathed a sigh of relief.
But was extremely short lived as All Might managed to break out of the glacier.
"That was a noble effort heroes." Said All Might, "But it wasn't enough."
"WHAT THE FUCK!" yelled Katsuki in shock.
That was when Shoto sent out a wave of steam at All Might.
However All Might just punched away the steam like it was nothing. But the distraction was enough that the two were able to get away and hide.
In the observation room the ones watching were surprised.,
"All Might isn't holding back." Said Izuku.
"Do you think Katsuki will run away?" asked Tenya.
"I don't know… one of the things I admire about her is that she never gives up." Said Izuku, "But in this case."
"In order to win she need to learn to learn to give up." Said Yaoyorozu.
Izuku nodded.
Meanwhile back on the testing ground both Magical Girls were breathing heavily.
'Now you understand why we have to run away." Muttered Shoto.
"Well…" said Katsuki.
"That shouldn't get that reaction." Muttered Shoto.
"Fine… we'll run away if my strongest attack doesn't work." Said Katsuki.
Shoto glared at her partner. But hoped that seeing All Might take the attack might be the thing to get Katsuki to try to run away to the escape point.
"You better keep your word." Said Shoto.
"I can only do it once day so of course I'll keep may word. If he can take that it's better to run." Said Katsuki.
Katsuki summoned her wand.
"But I doubt he'll be able to stand it…" she said with a grin.
They peaked to see if they could see All Might.
Katsuki held onto her wand tightly waiting until they saw All Might.
And they saw him.
"You might want to shield yourself…" said Katsuki.
Shoto nodded remembering the massive explosion that that she caused pretty much emptied most of the flood zone at the USJ.
"You ready to die!" yelled Katsuki.
Shoto sighed as she created a large wall of ice to protect herself.
And soon enough All Might was engulfed in a massive explosion.
Katsuki smirked at the dust cleared.
"Look like that took care of him." Said Katsuki.
The ice wall melted.
"Just be prepared." Said Shoto.
"That was quite the explosion." They heard All Might's voice.
The dust was starting to clear and they saw that All Might was mostly unscathed. Expect for a torn up costume he seemed perfectly fine.
Both Katsuki and Shoto started to sweat.
But that wasn't the only thing that concerned them.
"What the fuck is that thing!" yelled Katsuki.
"That's the oldest trick in the book." Laughed All Might.
"I'm not talking about behind you or anything." Said Katsuki, "I'm talking about that thing on you!"
"What…" said All Might breaking character.
That was when he noticed how bad the damage to his costume was, his entire top was shredded.
"Well… you did… quite the job. I never thought anything would destroy any of Dave's costumes…" All Might said rather awkwardly while also trying to get them to stop focusing on the thing on him, "That attack is quite powerful Young Bakugo… you will want to be careful in the future if my costume wasn't able to survive it."
"It's clearly a scar." Said Shoto.
It was indeed a scar, and while he was in his muscle bound form it still didn't look good even surrounded by muscles. It looked like a horrific spider web. And even looked a little caved in.
"Shit…" muttered All Might seeing that they saw the scar.
This was bad for him. Only the staff including Inko knew about his injury.
All Might managed to compose himself and decided to work it into the exam.
"I got this in a really bad fight." Said All Might, "I beat him but he left this scar! It was a threat I defeated but in the end he left me with this scar… I barely won…"
Both Katsuki and Shoto stared at the scar.
Katsuki was shaking.
It wasn't just seeing the scar but knowing that All Might… someone she thought was undefeatable had such a scar shook her.
Shoto once again covered All Might in a large glacier.
She grabbed Katsuki and then created steam in the hopes of distracting All Might when he inevitably busted out.
"You promised we would go to the escape point." Said Shoto.
"Fine…" muttered Katsuki, "Grab onto my back."
Shoto blinked but did so.
Katsuki launched the two of them into the air.
"You can fly?" asked Shoto.
"No… it's just launching myself in the air." Said Katsuki, "And don't fucking call it "Falling with style.""
"What?" asked Shoto.
"Never mind." Said Katsuki realing Shoto probally never seen those movies.
"Looks like you know to how to Fall with Style." Said All Might who had jumped into the air besides them.
However Shoto sent out a stream of fire at All Might.
It was just a momentary reprieve but it was enough to distract him enough that they landed not too far away from the escape point.
"One of us has to cross right?" asked Katsuki .
"I think so…" said Shoto.
"You cross it… I'll distract him." Said Katsuki.
"Are you insane?" asked Shoto.
"I know the perfect target." Said Katsuki with crazed smile.
Shoto was confused at first but then realized what she was referring to.
"That's dirty," said Shoto.
"So it hitting someone in the nuts, but I've done it before." Said Katsuki.
Shoto paled when she said that.
"You…" said Shoto.
"Barely remember being a guy… so it was fair game." Said Katsuki.
Shoto just glared at Katsuki.
"Fine…" muttered Shoto.
That was when All Might had once again showed up with a mighty land that destroyed quite a bit.
However Shoto froze his feet to the ground.
"I don't need that handycap." Said Katsuki.
"You clearly need everything for a crazy plan." Said Shoto, "Also please don't go for the nuts."
"Whatever…" said Katsuki.
All Might easily broke out of the ice.
However that momentary distraction let Katsuki ger her hit in.
By aiming a wand explosion right in the scar.
All Might started to cough up blood.
"Wow! I never thought a hero would go for such a dirty move." Mocked All Might.
"I learned when dealing with bullies and villains dirty tricks often work." Said Katsuki.
All Might sweat dropped realizing what she was getting at.
"Really young Bakugo?" asked All Might brefly breaking character.
"They were bullying Deku!" yelled Katsuki blushing.
She once again used this momentarily distraction to land an explosive kick right in the scar.
However when the kick landed Katsuki felt it cave in.
"What the fuck." Muttered Katsuki as All Might started to cough a lot.
It wasn't just All Might just coughing but there was a lot of blood too.
Katsuki noticed that Shoto still hadn't made it to the exit. And decided to create a bunch of smaller explosions with her wand to create something like a smoke screen to distract All Might enough…
Well to distract All Might enough and so that she wouldn't see the number 1 hero cough up a lot of blood.
Thanks to the combination of the smoke screen and All Might's coughs, Shoto was able to pass through the gates.
All Might coughed but smiled at the fact they managed to pass.
In the observation room. The students all cheered at Shoto passed through the gate.
"They passed." Said Izuku.
However Inko and Recovery Girl noticed the spots where Katsuki had hit.
"Is he…" said Inko.
"I don't know…" said Recovery Girl, "I just hope he doesn't."
back in the testing ground Katsuki was celebrating.
Should they won by escaping, but in a sense she had also beaten All Might distracting him long enough.
That was when the dust cleared from the explosions and she saw the blonde man standing there.
"Good work you two." Said All Might with a proud smile.
However Katsuki was staring at All Might.
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU!" yelled Katsuki.
All Might blinked and he realized that thanks to Katsuki's hits he had reverted to his thinner form.
Shoto had heard this and returned and saw All Might in this sickly small form.
"Shit…" said All Might.
Thankfully in the obversion room, Recovery Girl had turned off the feed.
"They passed we don't need to see the conversation afterwards…" said Recovery Girl.
"Yeah." Said Izuku getting a bad feeling from what was going on.
"Everyone in the team passed though." Said Ochaco, "So you should be happy."
"Yeah… I know…" Said Izuku with a smile happy that all of his partners (well the student -partners) would be going to camp.
However he didn't know but two of his partners had stumbled upon something they really shouldn't have…
Not to mention something else that happened in the one of the others.
Next Time: There quite a bit of aftermath of the exams. Not just what Katsuki and Shoto discovered, but also something that was said during the exams. What is it? Find out next time!
A/N: Yep... Katsuki and Shoto now know about All Might's injury. Something I realized while he does know in one of my other stories the idea about Shoto learning about All Might's injury before canon has a lot of potential as an AU... there's so much there and I haven't seen much about it...
