A/N: This is my first Gossip Girl fanfic. I love Serena and Nate together and so just an idea I had while watching Season 2. This is not going to be Dan friendly and is going to have a lot of N-JBC friendship.
I do not own Gossip Girl. Please review!
Hey, Upper East Siders, rumour is that Nate Archibald has just been kicked out of the Humphrey Household. Does it have something to do with Little J? And why was the UES Golden Boy crashing in Brooklyn?

"The day has ended and apparently so have my chances to get into Yale." Blair dramatically said, getting into the limousine taking them to the Waldorf penthouse. Just the, their phones pinged alerting them of an update from Gossip Girl.
Hello Upper East Siders, rumour is that Nate Archibald has just been kicked out of the Humphrey Household. Does it have something to do with Little J? And why was the UES Golden Boy crashing in Brooklyn?
"What?" Blair asked confused. "Did you know?" She asked the blonde sitting beside her.
"Not a clue." She told Blair. "Take us to the Archibald residence. Now." She ordered the chauffeur.
Once the car halted, she motioned for Blair to stay in the car, while Serena went inside. Blair, though reluctant, surprising remained inside. Serena took the stairs down, and from the emergency basement door entered the brown stone. She quietly made her way up and hoped that Nate would still be inside. Thankfully, just as she entered the living room, she saw her best friend almost done packing up his things.
"Nate." Serena whispered.
"Serena, what are you doing here?" He asked.
"I read the Gossip Girl blast." She quietly said.
He looked confused and the opened his phone and read the latest update. "Great. She had to post about this too. God, this is one thing about here I will not miss." he dryly laughed.
"Nate, why didn't you tell me?" She asked hurt.
"I didn't want to burden you...and I was... embarrassed?" He said honestly.
"Nate, you can never be a burden on me. And how many times have I leaned on you to escape my problems? Please come home with me..." She requested. She could not see him leave.
"I... I can't.." Nate said.
"Natie..." Serena said using that name after a long time. Nate looked up at the word and Serena moved in front of him and held his hand. "I have come to your place, bags in tow more times than I can count. I even had a young brother with me. You, your family, never turned your back on us. Let me help you now, please." She pleaded. "You can't leave me." She said.
"S..." Nate held her face, when he saw her eyes were watering.
"Whatever it is... we will go through it togther. You're my best friend, Nate." She truthfully said, holding his hand tightly. "And you can't leave me alone with Blair and Chuck." She said to lighten the mood. Even Nate lightly chuckled hearing it. "Please?" Nate nodded.
Outside, Blair was standing by the limo, when she saw Chuck make his way to the brownstone. He acknowledged Blair and was about to go inside, when she stopped him. "Serena is inside. If at all he listens, he will only listen to her." Chuck paused for a second, nodded and stood beside Blair.
"I knew it was bad, but I didn't expect this." He told.
"You could have told us." Blair said.
"He didn't take help from me. I thought telling you would just make things worse between me and Nate." He replied. If Chuck had any idea that the situation would lead to this, he would told the girls long back.
Blair was about to retort when she saw the blonde couple leave the house and walk towards them, two duffel bags in hand. They just nodded at each other and stood smiling, for a minute before entering the town car and leaving for the Bass apartment.
Well... here is a twist. It is our mistake. Did we honestly think that the other three members of the elusive group would let their Golden Boy leave town? Sources say, it was our dearest S that came to the rescue. How will it affect her and Lonely boy? Things are certainly about to get interesting here.
At the Bass- Van der Woodsen home, the four friends were sitting in the living room talking about different kinds of stuff. Lily had been informed about their guest for the near future and had welcomed Nate, no questions asked.
After sometime, Dan came into the living room looking angry. "How can you help him, Serena?" He asked.
"Dan... what are you talking about?" She asked. Nate inwardly groaned.
"Nate... How can you help him. He first broke up with Venessa and then hit on Jenny."
"I don't care, Dan. He is my best friend." Serena defended Nate. She knew that Nate, Chuck and Blair put aside their differences to help a just a while back. When one of theirs is in trouble, nothing else matters.
"Well then did you know that your best friend is a male prostitute?" Dan half-shouted. He knew this was a cheap shot but he couldn't watch Serena defend and take Nate's side over his.
"Excuse me?" The other three glanced at each other, Nate ashamed. Serena was the only one who didn't know the later arrangements between Nate and Lady Catherine.
"Catherine paid him to have sex with her." Dan elaborated. "You really want to be seen with such a man?" He asked.
"Yes. I do." Serena replied without even thinking about it. She would never not have Nate's back.
"He is gonna..." Dan started.
"You know, with the girl Amanda, you accused me of sabotaging her... that wasn't me. Say another bad word about Nate to anyone you will see what a Serena Van der Woodsen scheme can do." She challenged.
"You will see what a Blair-Serena scheme can do." Blair joined from behind. "We make your life so miserable you will regret crossing the bridge from Brooklyn to Manhattan." She smirked. Dan just shook his head, not believing what he was hearing.
"You're really choosing him over me?" Dan asked.
"Yes I am. " Serena replied crossing her arms on her chest. "We stick together every time." Serena walked to Nate and held his hand. "Come on. Let's go up." She softly told him.
"You're really..." Dan started but was interrupted by Nate.
"S... he is telling the truth." Nate admitted.
"I don't care, Natie. A few months back, I told you guys something way worse about me. You never judged me. How can I?" She reassured him. "Now, its sleepover time. Let's order food from outside, grab some DVDs and forget all about our problems for the day." She smiled.
"Yes. A sleepover is just what the doctor ordered." Blair exclaimed.
"Four us, one room. Count me in." Chuck smirked. Nate just rolled his eyes and smiled, grateful for his friends.
"We are the non-judging breakfast club, Nate." Serena told him, seeing that he wasn't completely free of doubts. "Come on." He nodded and took her hand, leading her to her room. "Arthur, if Dan doesn't leave in the next two minutes, please call security." She instructed their butler. She knew that the move would seriously strain her relationship with Dan, but Nate was priority... always.
They four high schoolers had set up single make shift beds on each side on Serena's queen bed for the boys, they knew they were going to be too drunk and tired to go across to Chuck's room. They had ordered pizza and Italian food from their favourite place which delivered only for them.
After two movies, numerous rounds of board games and uncountable bottles of beer and tequila, the four went off to sleep. Serena and Blair on the main bed, and each of the boys were on each of the make-shift beds.
A little while after they had gone to sleep, Serena lied wide awake. She gently shook Nate, who was sleeping on her side.
"S... what's wrong?" he whispered.
"I can't sleep." She whispered back.
He shifted a bit to make space for her and patted the bed next to him. Serena without a second thought slipped in beside him. He smiled at her and she smiled back. The two of them had had numerous sleepovers together. Every time, even if their mothers put them in different room they would find their way back to each other by the middle of the night and would sleep in each other's arms. He held her close, and she put her head on his chest quickly went off to sleep.
In the morning, Nate woke up and saw Serena lying half on top of him. He smiled looking at her tousled her and how she was holding on to him even while sleeping. He tried getting out of bed without waking her but failed as she opened her eyes and groaned due to the light.
"Good morning." Nate smiled,
"You seem way too happy this morning." She complained.
"I was able to control my drinking, unlike someone sleeping beside me." He smirked. This always happened, whenever they got drunk. Serena and Chuck would have a hangover and Nate and Blair would take care of them.
"Hush you." She lightly hit him. "We need to get ready." She told, groaning once again.
"Come on." he got up and pulled her with him. They saw that Blair and Chuck were already awake and downstairs.
Nate and Serena reached the breakfast table and sat in the two empty seats. They greeted everyone and filled their plates with eatables.
"Serena remind me to get you bed size increased." Lily said. Serena looked confused. "We wouldn't want you to fall off to the rother side whenever Blair or someone sleeps on it with you, would we?" She said with a glint in her eyes. All the other members of the table started laughing while Nate and Serena blushed.
"Mrs. Bass..." Nate started.
"It's Lily, Nate." She interrupted.
"Lily, nothing happened. I.." Nate siad nervously. They had no idea that Lily had seen them.
"I wasn't able to sleep. I went to him." Serena said, not wanting any blame to be on Nate.
"I know." She deadpanned. "God, I can't even joke around here." Both Serena and Nate let out a breath. "Blair and Chuck were in the room. I know you both have that much sense." She smiled.
"Weddings and bar stools are more their scene." Blair piped in.
"And Limousines are more your's and Chuck's." Serena retorted.
"Excuse me... You two have.." She pointed towards her daughter and Nate. "And you two...' She said pointing towards Blair and Chuck.
"I will pack my..." Nate said getting up, almost sure that he was getting kicked out of that house as well.
"Serena is not a virgin, I'm aware of that Nate. I needed a moment to digest it, is all. Calm down." Lily said stopping him. "Just make sure that I do not hear anything while you are sleeping in her room." She told the young man.
"What?" Nate asked. He did not think that he would be sleeping in Serena's room especially after what Lily came to know a minute back.
"You wanna room with Chuck, instead?" She said. "The guest room is not ready to be stayed in, yet."
"No one except Chuck Bass can sleep in Chuck Bass' room. I mean... no one knows what and whose bodily fluids you will find." Blair exclaimed disgusted.
"Mom, are you sure?" Serena asked. She was glad her mom had no objections with her friendship with Nate, but allowing him to sleep in the the same bed as her was surprising.
"Yes. I have an idea of the various bed-mates you've had, darling. I'd say that Nate is the most decent amongst them."
"It guarantess that I don't bring any guy home and I don't make a boyfriend. Mom, I'm impressed." Serena smirked, seeing right through her mother.
"Serena... I can't ask you to..." Nate started.
"Natie, you are here for as long as you want. Nothing else matters. I mean that." Serena said. "As it is... I do not want to even look at Dan right now."
"I'm sorry Serena. I don't want to come between you and him." He didn't want to come between Serena and Nate or cause Serena to make sacrifices for him.
"Nate. I am not gonna choose a boyfriend whom I have dated for just a few months and known him for about a year above the person who gas been my best friend since kindergarten." Serena told him, pulling him for a hug. "You're stuck with me." She whispered. Nate just nodded and gave her a wide smile.
"Today dinner at Masa?" Chuck asked as the were on their way to school in the limo.
"Sure. S and I have to shop for Thanksgiving and then the Snowflake Ball. We will meet you guys there." Blair said.
"Yes. I wanted to check out Bendel's and Saks too." Serena said.
"I will ask Mark to get the other town car for me and Nathaniel. I'm guessing with the amount of bags that the two of you will have, walking will be impossible and a cab too small..."
"You know us too well, Chuck." Serena chuckled. The two ladies started planning their shopping trip and their plans for Thanksgiving.
Serena knew that something or the other was bound to happen at the festival, especially as it was the first Thanksgiving for the Bass family. Even though Nate wanted to have his mom with him, he knew that she was with her family trying to convince his grandfather for help.
As the limo stopped in front of the school gate, the four of them got off. Many people got curious and started whispering amongst themselves as it wasn't often that all four of them arrived together. The four of smirked at the attention they got and headed up for their classes.
There's a sight for sore eyes. The four friends heading to school together, and did we see S and B look pointedly towards Lonely Boy? Wonder what's that about... Did he ask S to abandon Nate just as he did... Doesn't he know that the S & N bond is too strong to be broken like that? And we also see Chuck and our Queen B cordial once again. We shall see what happens in the future. Are you excited? I know I am...
