Boom!Sonamy prompt: This time it's SONIC having bad dreams at midnight and Amy is the one to comfort HIM! (Insert Amy waking him up and he almost hits her out of instinct and fear, scaring the crud outta her! :D I know that is evil sorry) Very fluffy, and extra points for a kiss on the cheek and blushy sonic! :D

Sonic's noisey actions are causing Amy to have a hard time reading her romance adventure novel, and finally fed up with it, she slams the book shut and barges in, swinging the door wildly open as it falls off one of it's hinges slightly at the end.

She huffs and puffs, showing an ugly expression as she about to really tell Sonic what for, when…

He's tossing and turning in his bed…

Is it a nightmare?

Calmed by the worry and love that swelled in her heart, she quickly rushes up to his bedside, and looks puzzled on what to do as she looks at him left and right, not sure what she can really do.

"S..Sonic? Wake up. I think you're having a nightmare.." she gently shakes his body as his eyes are still tightly shut, as she sees he's been sweating a lot too. "..! Sonic! Wake up!" worry and compassion propel her to try harder, and suddenly Sonic's eyes shoot open as he quickly flings himself upright, banging his head on Amy's as they both move back and rub their heads.

"Ow, ow, ow…" Amy rubs her forehead and then shakes her head, looking back to Sonic would sort of did the same. "Are you okay?"

Sonic seems to be gasping, as he looks up to Amy. "Yeah… I'm uh… I'm fine." he gets his covers up and slowly turns around, trying to not have her ask any further as he seems to want to go back to sleep.

"…Sonic… I didn't come in here to just to hear that." she admitted, letting her arms move up and fall at her sides like a shrug. "I heard noises and I… I'm sure now that you were having a nightmare. Want to talk about it?" she offered, hoping he may open up a bit to her.

"Heh, heroes don't have nightmares!" he spat out, feeling a bit insulted as he bundled up a bit in his bed.

Amy blinked her eyes at his cruel words, showing he wouldn't really open up to her and talk about it… so she sorrowfully started to turn around.

"…E-especially nightmares… like losing friends and villains winning in the end." Sonic had looked over his shoulder, feeling bad about treating her like that, and ducked under again to state that. Though, it felt awkward to do so.

Amy's face turned around quickly, showing a huge open smile, as she raced back to the bed and hopped down on it. Startling Sonic, he leaned up again, shocked to see her sitting with one knee up and holding it on the bed with her, giggling. "I get those dreams too! The best way around them is to take over the dream, and have all you're friends fake their deaths, just stalling so you could gather you're true strength." she chimes.

Sonic looked at her, thinking about it, then looked away. he closed his eyes and let a smile escape his lips, before looking up to Amy. "Thanks! That might work!" he stated, feeling a little more at ease if he could just master his own dream. "I'll do my best…"

"You'll do fine! Goodnight!" she quickly blew him a kiss and got up, moving to the door, before stopping slightly, and giving him a wicked grin back. "Unless… you need something or… someone to help you fall back to sleep to-"

He quickly raced out of his bed and pushed her out into the hallway, "Goodnight, Amy!" he chimed and kissed his hand to then, gently, smacked her head with it. "And don't say weird things like that at this time of night! Hmph!" he slightly scolded her, and winked, before closing the door.

Amy blushed, recoiling a bit before laughing to herself and walking on. "Don't act like you don't like some of the weird things I say… haha!"

Sonic opened his door, only having his muzzle and nose show through though down the hall. "I DON'T." he shouted down, and closed the door.

"Ohh." Amy pouted and stomped her foot, disappointed she couldn't get away with that line…

(I wouldn't have made him 'kiss his hand and smack her head lightly' if I weren't going for the bonus points doubled XD how many do I have, anyway? can I cash some in? Cause I have like.. over 100 -not joking- sonic headcanons now… -sigh- I should be paid for the deciation I give to these things.. but I love them so much too /nxn/)
