(Comic of Sticks telling Modern Amy to 'chill out' with her love for Boom Sonic)

This is pretty old, but… prompt idea

—-

Why not?

Prompt:

"You need to chill out."

"Chill out!? But look at this guy dressed up to look like some sort of-! Hmm… adventuring… scruffy-looking Sonic? Yeah! That's gotta be the image he was going for! And super accurate too! Oh! I love that bandanna!" As Modern Amy swooned, Sticks rolled her eyes.

"You're not like the Amy from around here, Miss Alien." She picked up her camera. "Now, change into that horrible original form of yours so I can prove once and for all that aliens really do exist!" she turned it upside down, not sure how to work the camera, and waited…

Modern Amy didn't heed her any mind, as she continued to look around the hut. "Oh~ So… uh…" she accidentally stepped on a weird looking stick with lots of strings and beads attached to it, picking it up. "…Cultural." She smiled and placed it on a desk.

"Whelp! Better get started!" She straightened herself up, looking around and placing her hands on her hips.

"Excuse me?" Sticks raised an eyebrow, "But could you stop cleaning and just morphing already?"

Amy started putting things nicely on the overpacked shelves, leaving space and dusting. She picked up the rug from the floor and shook it a few times, before crinkling up her nose and sneezing. "Ah! Ack! Pfft! … so much dust."

"Actually, that's dirt. You know, from earth? Where you landed on?"

She giggled to Sticks, "You're so funny! But I have to tidy up if Sonic is going to find me. Are you a fan of all of us?" She looked at a picture of the gang, "I guess you all like to dress up as us… but with a different style and feel, huh?" she put a finger to her lips, and picked the photo up, examining herself…

"…Eh." She shrugged, "It looks close to how I do my makeup." She looked at her outfit… the curves revealing more of herself than she personally liked, but in a moment of admiring, she traced a finger down her figure before it veered off from the wide dress.

"…Hmm." She looked a little sad and set the photo down. "I wonder if I should change my look too…"

"You aren't really trying to convince me your some other Amy, right? How stupid do you think I am!?" Sticks got up on her table, waving her arms around hysterically as Amy quickly walked over.

"Please don't stand on the table, you're indoors." She tugged on her skirt and Sticks flopped back down to sitting on it. Amy walked on, humming and finding more things to arrange in the small dirt-hut as Sticks seemed surprised by her actions.

"…Alright, you're good." She narrowed her eyes, "That's practically the exact same way Amy scolds me… but I'm not gonna fall for your mind-manipulations!" she placed an aluminum foiled hat on her head, looking very much like a child's folded paper hat.

She folded her arms, "I'm calling the team over, anyway…"

When the team did arrive, they were startled and amazed. Especially the Amys, who couldn't really figure out what to identify the other as.

"Clearly, she's a fan." Boom Amy laughed nervously, gesturing to the other Amy. "I mean, she's got a slight flaw right…rrrriiiiighhhtt…" She moved a finger around as if trying to quickly find something that was off before poking Modern Amy in the face.

"Oh!"

"Here!"

"…What is it?" Tails asked.

"It's clearly a mole she tried to disguise!"

"Hey! I don't have moles!"

"Then what do you call this!" she lifted her finger, but it was gone. "W-what? But it was just there…"

"Ah-ha!" Modern Amy pointed to her finger, "You have a burnt finger! Clearly, you're not me."

"Girls… that's a speck of dust." Sonic flicked the particular off Boom Amy's finger…

The two looked at each other again.

They suddenly screamed and ran away from the other.

"What if the dimensions converge!?" Boom Amy cried out, stuffing Sticks's pillows over herself. "Won't there be like… a catastrophe!? Like when that other Knuckles showed up?"

"I don't think this is similar to that. Or we'd already be having problems." Tails, still cautious, moved to the other Amy who was hiding under the table.

She looked a little startled and scared, and with a warm smile, offered her his hand. "It's okay. We'll figure this all out and get you back where you belong soon."

She looked up to Tails, and smiled, taking his hand and coming out.

"No! Don't be nice to her!" Amy threw a pillow away from her face, gesturing to the other Amy and Tails. "That's what the aliens want you to do!"

"Finally!" Sticks did a little gig. "Now let's burn her and take her galactical gob to create that green stuff we put on our faces at spas!"

"…Sticks, those aren't alien gob. Their face masks." Boom Amy looked a little annoyed now, still freaking out and not sure what to believe anymore.

"…Wait, so we weren't bathing in the gob of alien invaders? What kind of warrior retreat were we on then!?" Sticks looked equally disappointed and frustrated.

"Umm… I just want to find out where I am." Modern Amy spoke up, before pulling out some dishes. "Maybe over some dinner then? To get better acquainted?"

"…Where'd she find clean bowls?"

"She's been cleaning my hut all morning…"

The team looked to this Amy like an angel sent from heaven.

The rest of the day, Modern Amy was lead to each of the men's homes, as they pretended to try and find a way home for her or at least ask questions to get to know her- watching all the while as she cleaned and tidied up, enjoying the labor.

However…

"You don't have to do any of that. I already cleaned for spring." Boom Amy was acting a little rude, crossing her fingers, not liking how the others were 'cozying on up' to this other Amy…

"Oh, I'm sorry, I just…" Modern Amy put a vase down and gripped the edge of the table. "I… I guess I'm just keeping myself busy… I'd rather not think about what would happen if I was…. If I couldn't find a way home."

"You're not trapped. I for one have been looking into this. Unlike the rest of the team, I'm not so 'welcoming' of another me taking my place." She shifted herself around, not wanting to even look at the other Amy.

"… You don't like me?" Modern Amy looked distressed by that, and held a hand to her chest, bundled lightly in sorrow. "…Have I… made you feel unwanted?"

"Well, if that wasn't your plan, I guess it's not your fault." She bluntly retorted back, fluffing up a pillow and suddenly keeping herself busy as she unnecessarily tidied up her own clean home. "I just want you back where you belong so I can return to where I belong."

Modern Amy looked down, feeling unwanted now, before looking over at a scrapbook Amy had on the table near the couch.

She got a little curious and looked to make sure Boom Amy wasn't looking, before moving to the couch to pick it up.

"I do miss my home… all of a sudden, there was a flash of light, I felt wind pulling me in, and when I cried out for Sonic… I shouldn't have charged into the fight like that." She put a hand over her face, as Boom Amy picked up a broom, letting her anger out on the floor, before slowing her speed down and looking like she was sympathizing for a moment.

Though she didn't look back at her.

"Sonic and the others warned me. They wanted me to stay safe. They didn't know what we were up against… I wonder if that could help me get home." She looked up at the ceiling before placing the book on her lap and opening it up.

She giggled and 'aww'd at the pictures. "You all seem to hang out regularly around here…" she had some longing in her voice.

"Don't you?" It was a kinder response, and this made Modern Amy smile.

"No… I have to run an awful long time before I can find Sonic and the others…" She lightly skimmed her fingers over the pictures of the gang, posing for photos, or doing something fun together.

"…I would give anything… to…" she closed the book, wiping a tear from her eye. "Heh, you have no reason to feel jealous of me." She placed the book down, getting up and dusting off her dress.

Boom Amy paused in her work for a moment, before gripping the broom tighter and turning around.

"Are you leaving?"

"…Well, I…" Modern Amy bent her knees in towards each other, her hands up against the other in a shy look. "I wouldn't want you feeling threatened by me… I would hate losing what you have too. So I'll try and find answers on my own too. I'm pretty good at detective work on all on my own." She faked a smile to Boom Amy, before heading to the door.

"Besides…" she hesitated as she opened the door, looking over her shoulder slightly to Boom Amy.

"…You and your Sonic… You make a pretty good team together." She beamed a beautiful look of approval and love as she stated that, before walking solemnly out the door.

"NO!" Boom Amy dropped the broom, rushing to the door before Modern Amy paused.

"Hmm?" She looked genuinely shocked that she stopped her.

Boom Amy lowered her hands and tried to laugh off her strange declaration. "I-I was just thinking! W-what's your Sonic like?"

"…You want to talk about Sonic?" A sparkle immediately arose in Modern Amy's eyes.

"W-well.. I'm sure it's a little different, but we could…. I mean, it'd be nice to have someone understand instead of saying I 'complain' too much."

"…!" Immediately, Modern Amy's eyes alit and she ran back towards Boom Amy, looking like a swooning fangirl. "Does your Sonic do that… that thing?"

"Thing? What thing-"

Modern Amy mimicked Sonic's smirk, finger wag, side-profile, and then wink.

It was so convincingly realistic to how Sonic did it, that Boom Amy laughed and nodded her head, unable to breathe.

The rest of the night, the girls talked about Sonic and the boys, what they loved about them and what sometimes bothered them. But it was all in good fun. They watched Boom Amy's romantic movies and shows, did some fighting practice, and lastly said goodbye when Tails found the answer to Modern Amy's appearance.

There had been a rip in space and time, and it was triggered by Boom Amy apparently.

The two didn't realize how much they needed the other, and how much they were missing being who they truly were.

They hugged, cried a little but tried to hide it, and finally waved their farewells.

Before Modern Amy went back into the white vortex, Boom Amy reached out her hand to her, grabbing her back for just a moment before the wind pulled her in again.

"Write me!" she begged.

Modern Amy was touched, knowing that couldn't possibly happen, but nodded as she threw her other hand to grip Amy's hand holding her back. "How could I not? You have to tell me what happens when you finally tell him!"

She blushed, and Sonic didn't seem to notice it was about him.

She shifted her eyes and nodded sheepishly, before letting Modern Amy go and calling out, "AND TELL ME WHEN THE WEDDING IS!"

"APIIIRRRLLL!" Modern Amy called back, being drawn back into the swirling of the vortex before it flashed shut.

Boom Amy held her heart and nodded. "April sounds perfect." It was just a joke, the two knew that, but it was something that meant a lot to say at the time.

They would root for each other, keep each other on the right paths, and the Amys would never feel alone in their feelings ever again.

(This prompt went on a totally unexpected venture, lol xD)
