Glad you liked my prompt! Have another one! Traveling gypsies come to town and the team decide to see what they are all about. As everyone goes their own ways Amy ventures to see a fortune teller. There, the lady reads her palm /cards and mentions something about her love life. Amy asks if blue and speed is involved but the old woman says no, that infact she should avoid that.A short lived sad relationship she says. Amy takes this to heart and becomes disconnected with sonic. What will sonic do?

OH MAN. DUDE/DUDETTE. THAT IS SOME DEEP STUFF YOU BE THINKIN'. …. I like it B)… okay, let's get this show on the road!

(Gypsy Amy! :D)

As the group of performing Gypsies came into town, performing magic and other such tricks, Sonic and the gang were there to make sure any 'robbing' wasn't going on behind the scenes of this lively affair, as was sometimes common in street performances that leave town right away.

Amy was walking with the gang before seeing a uniquely styled hut, and walking toward it. (I have a thing for fortune tellers, they're my favorite, especially in the Sonic universe, so buckle up xD)

The incense made her sneeze at first, wiggling her nose as an old lady's voice chuckled harshly, almost breezily, at her.

"The spirits like the strong smells of life. Forgive me for pleasing them with so much aroma. And you are?"

"I'm-"

"The rose within the garden of Eden. I know thee. It was a trick question to see if you believed me." she pulled out some cards.

"O-oh…"

"Sit down, child… let me reach into the spirit world, and see what they have prepared for your soul…" she gestured to a cushion in front of her.

The woman was draped in layers upon layers of decorative garps, mostly over her head, like in Indian cultures.

Her face was hidden, except for a large peak, as she looked to her cards.

"Draw three."

"I wish to know, if it's okay, about my chances for love..?" Amy felt asking might be wrong, but wanted to interrupt to see if it was an option. 'Might as well have fun with this, right?' she thought, always loving fortune telling.

"…hmm… such things can be done. But is it true love you seek? Or just merger love?" The woman laughed harshly again, before coughing. "My." she waved her hand. "The spirits have asked for too much scents this time."

Amy covered her mouth and giggled slightly.

"Behold!" The woman spread her arms out, as trinkets dangling from her head shook and made pretty dinging noises as they hit one another. "The spirits have come… they are here… they are your past, present, and future… I wish to know the future… guide this old spirit to awaken the destiny of this youthful one… oohhhhhhh~" she slowly moved her hands down, to each side of the cards.

One by one, Amy saw the cards shuffle themselves, and freaked out a little bit, as the woman's eyes began to glow a bright white.

"Quickly, child! Do not be afraid… draw three from the air… three that shall define your fate!"

Amy was freaking out a little bit, cards were flying everywhere now, and she quickly saw one dancing a bit in the air, and reached for it, but it dodged.

"That is not the one!" The old woman cried out, "Quickly! The spirits will reject you if you choose wrong again!"

"But… but how do I-?" Amy saw one card gently linger around her, as the others were wild or moving at different tempos, this one was gentle and seemed to flutter around her. she held her hand out, and it flew gracefully to her.

"Ah, the first has come. Now, for the other two!"

Amy found each card and placed them down.

The cards all flew back into the neatly stacked deck, as the fortune tellers mind stopped glowing through the fabric, and she took the cards and put them in her sleeves. "Which card did you select first?" she asked.

"This one. the one with the dove on it."

"Ah… innocence and faithfulness. You and you're future lover will be bond by your love. Neither shall stray."

Amy smiled, thinking of Sonic being loyal to her.

"Ah, the color of blue and quickness of wind has entered your mind… has it?" The old bird woman leaned up, as Amy was shocked she knew that.

"Y-yes… but how did you-?"

"You doubt me?" The woman sounded insulted. "Pffu-bah-ha!" she puffed her feathers out. "How dare thee. Leave then. I shall say no more."

She was picking up the cards.

"N-no!" Amy grabbed her hands, stopping them as the woman held them back, smiling.

"This love you seek, it is as breezy as the wind. And a rose can only drift in the beeze, so long as it is not cut by the world's cruelty. Beware reality, you are not to be." the woman then looked to the second card. "You're true love is versed not in love, but in something more. He shall draw you to him with more than just appearance. You shall know it's him, from the sound of his voice." she stated.

"W-wait…" Amy didn't want to believe that her and Sonic weren't meant to be… "S-stop, I don't want to know anymore!" she cried out, closing her eyes as the woman spoke on.

"The last card shows regret. Wishing for things that could never be-"

"Stop!" She flung her hands away from the woman, as she placed her money down and bowed. "I'm sorry, I … I don't want to hear anymore!" she jumped up and vanished.

"…Another hopeless romantic." The woman sighed, as she used her powers to have her children, little birds flying in the air, turn uninvisible, as was her parlor trick. "I haven't been that sucessful in a long time, hoho!" she cheered, taking the money as her kids snickered.

Amy was so engrossed in what the fortune teller had spoken, that she avoided Sonic all day, until hearing someone singing, and meeting a gypsy boy who played music and sang to his own tune.

Thinking this could be her true love, she panics, and runs, but for some odd reason, keeps bumping into the boy.

Sonic, growing a bit concerned for Amy's strange behavior, wants to try and find her, but Knuckles naps a thief, and the whole gypsy organization of thieves is found out.

"You mean… the fortune teller?" Amy asked, as Tails nodded.

"A phony! I knew magic didn't really exist, pfft!" Tails had been slowly convinced the whole day that magic could happen, before hearing about them all being wanted bandits, and sighing in relief that their 'magic' was just 'deception' as he had thought. "This woman has the power to turn her kids invisible, and they fly around holding the cards, making it look like spirits. The invisibility only works if your vision is blurred by the excessive incense, which is why you couldn't see them flying through the air and distorting the hut's look." he explained.

"Then… me and that boy aren't…" she looked thrilled, rushing to Sonic. "Oh, Sonic! I knew we were meant to-" she stopped herself, freaking out and blushing as he didn't know about her true feelings yet.

"Meant to..?" Sonic looked confused, pulling her off of him. "What?"

"Meant to… be friends forever! haha..ha…" she nervously laughed out.

"O-oh.." 'Gee, I hope not.' Sonic thought, wishing for something… maybe later in the future… to be… a little… bit more than just friends…
