Ok so Idk y but i have a feeling that sonic is really good with little kids, so can you do a boom!sonamy prompt where sonic and amy are guarding an orphanage and all the kids run up to sonic and hug tackle him, and he laughs and talks to them and just fluffy stuff, and amy sees this and smiles? Cuz i think that sonic playing with little kids is death by cuteness

Lol, it would be, huh? XD I imagine it would take him some time… but after a moment of 'introductions' he'd be the 'big brother' and act like a kid with the rest of them, doing silly childish things with them, and teaching them how to get away with it, lol!

The orphanage was overrun with cheer at having the Village's heroes over for a play date.

Knuckles had his hands full with the rowdy bunch who wanted to wrestle, and a few girls who just wanted to swing on his arms.

Tails was with the smart kids, who played checkers as he taught them the best strategies and showed them some of his nifty doohickeys he's made.

Amy was with the other kids in a big circle, reading a story as one held a stuffed animal and sucked on it's ear, while the Child Care Taker (I don't know what they're called XD) would gently scold the young child for the behavior.

Sonic, after being swarmed by young boys who admired him, got the fame a little to close to heart and began trying to 'overly' impress the young boys with daring acts, which the Child Care Takers didn't approve of.

His bad example led Amy to hand the book off to another CCT(it's hard typing that all out XP) and marched over to Sonic. "Do you have any idea what your doing?"

He grinned, helping a kid make a sling shot, "Yeah, I'm playing with the kids." he smirked, giving the toy off as the child said, 'Cool!' and started shooting at a group of girls watching Tails fly a robot around.

"Hey!" Tails called, as the boys laughed and ran off.

Sonic chuckled, before seeing Amy's ticked off expression and began to get intimidated. "Hehe…" he bent his ears back, smiling nervously.

"You're just like them!" Amy cried out, and pulled him up by the ear.

"Owowowow! Hey! Amy, that hurts!"

"Act your age and teach these boys to be gentlemen! Don't make them outlaws!"

"..Coooool." the boys all chimed together. Sonic laughed, before Amy bonked him on the head with her hand.

"Hey! If I do as you say, then they'll hate me. They'll think I'm not cool!" he stated, rubbing his head. "And you're making me look bad…" he whined out.

"Go and be cool WHILE giving those boys MEANINGFUL advice and maybe tell them some of your adventure stories." she looked a little softer to him after he folded his arms rebelliously and pouted. "Look," she put her hand on his shoulder. "These boys could really use someone to look up too, not just admire. They've been through a lot for someone their age…" she gestured to them, as Sonic took a second look and noticed the boys playing around on the stairs, all looking like brothers. "They're not even related, but blood doesn't define family. They're all they've ever had… and you can be apart of making that brotherhood even stronger with some good role modeling. And not the strutting kind." she teased, posing like a model as Sonic 'pfft'd at her silly joke and rolled his eyes, but got the picture.

He let his arms hang down and nodded, "Alright, alright. I'll quit goofing around…" he mumbled, and walked over to them, as Amy went back to her station.

She was sitting with a group of girls playing a 'dress up tea party', and spared a glance at Sonic.

He was surrounded by the kids as he re-enacted his battles with Eggman, SECRETLY teaching the kids that good always triumphs over evil, but trying to be cool about it. He didn't want to lecture anyone, so he just lead by example, as Amy had suggested. "Now, let's see whose a true hero here today!" he turned around, grabbing a plant and spinning back to the kids, holding it up to his nose to make it look like Eggman's mustache, and holding his hand out like a monster.

The boys gasped.

"It's Eggman!"

"Quick! We have to work together!"

"I'll distract him while you spin dash!"

"No! Don't! Save yourself!"

"I'm not leaving without you, bro!"

"Whohoho! I'm Eggman, and I'm going to rule the world-ow!" Sonic was hit by the boy's sling shot, as his friends looked to him in awe.

"Woah!"

"Nice shot!"

"I couldn't let him hurt my friends!"

Sonic smiled, feeling slightly good about the message he got across, and began his epic death scene. "Ah! Oh! Urk! The l-light…oh wait-" he looked down, after having put his hand to his head and neck, before thrusting both hands down on his chest and then looking up. He was making an adult joke… but was suggesting Eggman wasn't going 'up' so to speak… And fell on the ground, throwing his tongue up and letting it lay dead on the side of his mouth.

"Is he… dead?"

"HURRAY! We won!"

"Yeah-ha!"

the boys high-fived, as Amy smiled, giggling at Sonic's cute performance as the boys gathered around him, looking a bit concerned.

"Mr. Sonic…?"

"…I thought I told you NO MR! ARGUH! BACK FROM THE DEAD! ZOMBIE EGGMAN! RAWR!" he got up and grabbed the boys, swinging them in his arms and falling down again as they all laughed.

"Aw, he can be good with kids." Knuckles stated, walking up near Amy and holding a kid in his hands as the others all gathered around, demanding to be held too. "Oh, come on, guys! I only got two hands!"

Amy laughed, proud of Sonic's turn around.

"That's a fine young man you have there, Miss Rose." one of the women said to her.

"H-huh? Oh, he's not-"

"Arguh! Defeated again! BLAST YOU KIDS! and your little sling shot to-OW! HEY! That's my butt!"

"HAHAHAHA! Egg-butt! Egg-butt!"

"Huh? HAHAHAA! hey, that's pretty good! I'll have to call him that next time, haha!"

"…Yeah, he is." Amy smiled, as she looked back to the woman.
