Can you do a boom!sonamy prompt that is just some emotional stuff? Like, anything cute and fluffy and comforting eachother? Anything fluffy please! Thank you, prompt queen! (I'm calling you that now XD)

Oh lol, thank you xD it's been a long time since I wore this crown… -dusts it off and gently places it on head, looking at it sparkle- …. I'm not crying, I swear. -wipes a tear- it's just been too long, old friend.

Emotional? When I think 'emotional' I think fighting and then making up. But you're asking for a 'comforting fluff moment' which would more or less be my definition of 'cute motivational moment' but eh, I'll see what I can do ;)

Drama is more emotional. Cute is more fluffy comforting advice so to speak.

Anyway~

(It's small but it's adorable! XD)

Amy has just recently lost her will to fight, after having failed to protect a villager, who is in serious medical condition after Amy was busy fighting and not paying attention to the villager who fell after a earth beneath him or her gave way and she just managed to grab him or hers hand. Well, needless to say, the hands slipped and it took everything Amy had, mentally and physically, to save the person from falling to their doom.

Amy felt her neglect to keep an eye on the most important thing, the villager's safety, and not worry so much about the battle, almost cost her a dear friend.

Grieving, even if the person was still alive, Amy couldn't escape the image of the terrified villager in her head, and how she could of ultimately caused that person's death. Putting down her hammer, she declared she would only be a 'assist' to the team, and nothing more. No more fighting, but plenty of cookies!

Trying to let her have her time, the gang enjoy the cookies, before getting stuffed with them, and just having enough. Amy has nothing else to do, so she keeps trying to feed them, stuffing them with more cookies before the team finally agree she needs to come back to fighting with them.

"You can't keep blaming yourself for that accident Amy! No one died! Let it go! Move on!" Sonic exclaims, after Amy avoided the conversation with Tails and Knuckles, even Sticks.

"O-oh, I don't know, I just think it's best I never, EVER, fight again, you know? Hehe…cookies?!" she holds a plate of fresh cookies up in his face as she nervously smiles and slightly giggles. "Haha…" she bolts for it, but Sonic stops her.

"Really?" he states, folding his arms and holding a leg out to make sure she doesn't try for the door again. "Amy, you're literally wallowing in your own self-pity. What happened? It happened. And now you really need to- Ahhh… you're not c-crying are you!?" Sonic stopped being so harsh when he noticed Amy started tearing up, racing away to the couch as she cried on it.

"You weren't there! You didn't see their terrified face! Or the fact that it looked like I betrayed them by just telling them to stay still and don't move! I was horrible! I was more focused on trashing some.. some robots then to comfort and stay close to that poor villager…" she wiped her eyes, as Sonic looked uncomfortable, not used to consoling people…

He sat down and looked forward, looking very, very out of his comfort zone as he turned to look to Amy.

He opened his mouth to close it and looked away, before finally sighing and grabbing her, pulling her too him so she wasn't draped over the couch's armrest like that.

"Look, you're right. I've never been that close to seeing someone about to die…" Sonic looked away, before trying to keep his composure and looked back to her. "But I do know this. You saved that villager's life. And when they wake up, I know the first thing they're going to do is-"

The door bell rang, as Sonic looked to it, and felt awkward having Amy so close to him with company…

Amy got up, trying to compose herself and look alright as she opened the door, and gasped.

"Miss Amy?" the villager walked in, and hugged Amy. "I just got out of the hospital today! I wanted to say thank you! You risked your life to save me, and I'm truly in your debt!"

Amy was shaken up by seeing the villager again, and didn't speak, as Sonic knew he needed to help her and got up quickly, looking to the villager. "She's been awfully worried about you, she's so happy you're okay, it's left her speechless." he explained, as Amy cried out some happy tears and held the villager, glad the villager looked alright.

She looked up to Sonic who nodded to her, patting her back as he let the two have a minute.

Later that day, Amy knocked on Sonic's door as he smiled, letting her in with a gesture of his hand.

"So? Everything worked out?"

"…The Villager's parents cooked me a meal." she smiled, and held herself for a moment. "Sonic… I've never seen you try and comfort someone before. And I want you to know, I'm grateful you wouldn't just let me bake cookies the rest of my life." she grinned, as Sonic felt his heart pause from beating before rapidly starting up again.

"Ah-well, you know, yeah, I mean… I try." he used to just worry about himself, but helping Amy out… and hearing her say that… he felt a good feeling inside. "No problem… Amy."

That week, Sonic wanted to have that same good feeling again, and so he tried to get Knuckles, Tails, or Sticks to let him comfort them or give them advise, listen to their troubles, anything he could help with!

"For the last time, the only thing I need help with is getting you to quit asking me if something's wrong!" Tails exclaimed, as Sonic pouted.

"Tails… Do we need to discuss that little temper of yours?" he spread out his arms. "I'm here for you buddy."

"GET OUT!" Tails flung his tools at Sonic as he laughed and ran off.
