Can you do a boom!sonamy prompt where amy and sonic are arguing like crazy at the hub and the gang left cuz they were to scared to stay, and so sonic accidently says something like a compliment and they both freeze and are like "what wait?" (this isnt very canon, is it? sorry XP)

lol, hon, that's VERY canon XD I think it's in Boom!Sonic's nature to slip up a lot, kinda like Game!Sonic, so him accidentally saying the first thing that popped into his head, which just happened to be a compliment on accident, could totally happen. (Well, in my opinion, anyway XP)

So, here we go!

Tails and Knuckles stepped out, as the two looked to each other, hearing the insults flying in the background as they sighed and started walking away. they've already tried EVERYTHING under the sun to just get them to stop arguing about there differences and just… well, not try and get the last word, they supposed.

Still, Sonic and Amy were stubborn people, and there was NO WAY either were going to just submit and let it slide, not without a fight anyway.

"Don't you think kicking butt is better than the 'perfect' dinner!? For heaven sakes, Amy! I don't care if I'm LATE!"

"You never think of other people other than yourself! Gosh, Sonic. Why can't you just CARE for once about someone ELSES feelings!"

"Feelings?! FEEELINGS!? I DESPISE feelings! All I ever hear is FEELINGS from you, woman!"

"What… did you just call me? I should be proud to be called a woman, it's better than being called a typical MAN!"

"I'm darn proud to be a man! typical, however, was a bit harsh."

"SELFISH!"

"OVER FEELING!"

"MEAN!"

"STUBBORN!"

"HORRIBLE!"

"BEAUTIFUL!"

"…what?"

"What!?"

Sonic looked down at himself, shocked by what just came out, as his eyes looked back and forth in puzzlement.

Tails and Knuckles's were pouting, heads squishing down on their raised hands as they held it upright, before their heads rose up, they looked to each other, and dashed to put their curious ears against the door in amazement at this new development.

"Um… wait, can I have another go? I think I thought this was a rhyming thing? J-just, one more time, let's take it from the top." Sonic stepped forward, licking his lips and thinking fast as Amy wasn't planning on going back for him.

"Why did you say Beautiful?"

"Why are you asking? Um.." he gestured his hand up, questioningly, before placing it on his face and trying to think of an excuse as quick as he could. "I-I meant that you were um… beautifully… tragic." he lowered his head as if trying to be convincing.

"…beautifully… tragic?" Amy raised her head up, and then dropped it, raising an eyebrow as she was suspicious of his reasoning. "So it was an insult after all?"

"Pfft, yes! Y-you just didn't let me finish! I mean, duh! Typical Amy! Barging in and not letting me finish my sennnnnnn-" he rolled his hand out, waiting for her to speak.

"…Sentences?"

"-tences! See? Typical!" he flung his hand up, gesturing to her, before folding his arms and looked away.

"…Okay." she put her hand to the side of her face, holding it with her other arm to keep it there. "What's so 'beautifully' tragic about me?" she stated this kinda snotty, as to trip him up, as he rolled his eyes slowly back to her, his face one of complete fear.

"Uhh.." he smacked his lips together to make a clicking noise, and rubbed his hands together, thinking… "Youuurrr… hair?" he parted his hands to gesture to her hair.

It was fine.

"…What about my hair?" she asked, her eyes still showing disbelief in him.

"…Okay, I slipped up, you win." he grumbled out, having preciously faked a smile before finally dropping the act, letting his hands hang down from gesturing to her. "Although, I was being pretty witty towards the end there."

"Uh-huh." Amy smiled, and then dropped her arms as she swung them seductively to her sides, moving her hand and letting it stroke his back as she walked by and then turned him around to face her. "I adoooore your wit. Especially under these-" she pulled him quickly against her. "intense … situations, where it's pinned against mine in… heated battles." (Well.. THAT turned her on, XD)

"…." he gulped loudly and moved away, laughing nervously. "Well, the tension can get high,…ehheheh…"

She dropped her act as she rolled her eyes and called out to Knuckles and Tails. "Okay, guys! We can eat dinner now!"

"Finally!"

"I'm starving!"

Tails and Knuckles burst through the door to the table, "Oh, and thanks for slipping up for us, Sonic! Way to take one for the team!" Tails nudged Sonic and then headed off as Knuckles tugged down his gloves and looked at Sonic with a sly smile.

"..Beautiful?" he teased.

"Shut up!" Sonic pushed him on towards the table, as Knuckles laughed, seeming to know that wasn't on purpose.
