Memories Of Her-Ch 26
When Derek and Hotch walked into the living room they had to fill the rest of the team in on what had happened and how that for now their part of the trial was over because not only was the judge in the video chat but so were Sam and Savannah and their attorneys.
Fran said, "so, when the judge makes his decision, you will be notified right?", Hotch nodded his head and said, "yes I will because I was the attorney representing Derek and Penelope during the video chat".
Dave said, "so hopefully we will find out that they will both be spending the rest of their lives in prison", Fran said, "after what they both did to my son and daughter-in-law they deserve worse then spending the rest of their lives behind bars", Sarah said, "I agree with momma, they let us all believe that Derek was dead when in fact Savannah had him locked up drugging him to make him forget us".
Desi said, "I never liked Savannah", JJ said, "she seemed nice at first and then she because all possessive over Morgan, she didn't want him to associate with any of us outside work", Derek said, "and we all know that I wasn't gonna agree with any of that", Emily said, "so true Derek soooo true".
Penelope walked back into the room carrying Hank and being followed by Henry and Jack and when they all sat down on the couch Penelope said, "he's changed and feeling a lot better, aren't you sweetie?", Hank looked up at his mommy and cooed at her, Penelope then said, "soooooo, what's on the agenda for today?", she looked around the room and saw that nobody had any idea.
Derek said, "wellllll how about since it's almost Halloween, how about we make plans for a Halloween party for after we get back home?", Jack and Henry loved that idea and said, "yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh", Derek grinned and said, "and after that is Thanksgiving and then Christmas, shew this year is flying by".
Fran said, "this will be Hank's first Halloween, he's gonna look adorable ina costume", Penelope said, "I just have no idea on what that costume might be", so while the women were all talking about costumes the men were talking specifics of the party and by the time the planning was over with everybody's costumes had been decided.
After a late supper Derek laid their sleeping son in his portable crib while the others settled in front of television with Jack and Henry to watch movies and of course after Nemo was over the boys fell asleep so after their daddies tucked them in the family watched several movies before turning in for the night.
As Derek and Penelope laid wrapped in each others arms they laid thinking about how lucky they had been and how she would always be thankful to the family for wanting to visit here to check out the beautiful surroundings, she sighed and said, "I love you hotstuff", he kissed the top of her head and said, "I love you too baby girl", after a few minutes the sound of light snoring could be heard coming from the tired husband and wife as they peacefully slept,
