Hey Cutegirlmayra! I have an idea for a Sonic Boom prompt starring Sonic and everyone's favorite egg-shaped antagonist. Lyric somehow traps Sonic and Eggman together. Eggman does not have the aid of his robots or weapons, and Sonic does not have the aid of his friends. Eggman and Sonic have to work together to find a way out. (Could you include some awesome Sonic/Eggman banter with it?) Let me know if you have done this before though, and you are completely free to tweak details if you like! :)

Ohh! I love this idea! :D And yes, I shall make lots and lots of Eggman and Sonic banter~ can't have a good fic without it XD

Prompt:

Lyric turns on Eggman after successfully capturing Sonic, and throws them both somewhere he KNOWS will get rid of them for good this time.

Strapped to a metal beam together, the two are on opposite sides of the other, and quickly heading through the assembly line of robots and machinery all chopping up or cutting up metal scraps to make more pieces for Lyric's grand master plan of taking over the world and destroying it's natural resources, along with anything organic!

"Heh, You've really stooped farther than ever this time, Eggman. Getting scammed by your own boss? -whistles- Tough day at work, eh?" Sonic mocks, as they fall down a layer to another assembly line.

"You're one to talk. You couldn't play nice with your little friends either and now you're feeling the metal-melting FIRES of loneliness on your back." Eggman grumbled out, mocking Sonic too, as Sonic looked down beneath him worriedly, having an awkward smile on his face as he saw the fires bending and melting hard stone-cold metal to it's will.

"Heh, heh… any bright ideas on how we can get out of here then, Mr. Genius?" He continued to banter.

"Hmph. Even if I did, it's not like you'd ever listen to me- WHA-OHH! Okay, listen up!" Eggman's mustache got fried by a flame-torch just barely missing his face. He grew panicky as he moved his head left and right to try and get a view of Sonic, only seeing the tips of his blue hair behind him. "Alright, on three, we're rotating upward at 90 degrees and about facing, once our legs on our this blasted moving circuit of terror, we'll push up from our backs and stand, ready!?"

"…Uh,… Eggman? I think you forgot how long the iron beam on our backs are." Sonic commented, as Eggman looked back, seeing they would never be able to do what he was planning. He looked forward, and comically looked upset by this 'minor' setback.

"Oh."

The robots and machines for tearing into metal scraps and melting them down got closer, as both Sonic and Eggman flinched in fright. "Alright, new plan! In my pocket is a small laser knife. If you can use your legs to kick it out of my back pocket, I might be able to cut us free from these infernal ropes!" Eggman stated.

"Heh, kicking your butt for any reason at all? I'm game!" Sonic drew back his leg.

"Ah, wait, no, that's not what I HAD MEANT!"

Sonic thrust his foot down on Eggman's backside.

"YE-OUCH!"

"Ah! I see it!"

"Would you be more gentle-YE-HA! That's my tender- AH-HHAA!" Eggman was getting pretty beat up as Sonic kept kicking his behind to get the laser knife out, as it finally came out and Sonic watched it fall out and land near Eggman's face.

"Ah!" "Ohhh~"

Eggman reached for it, but couldn't quite get it…

"Use your nose, Eggman!" Sonic encouraged, as Eggman was trying to use his tongue, before looking to Sonic, and seeming embarrassed by how Sonic was having better ideas than he was.

"Oh-well-um-yes, quite right. Haha, I was just seeing if there was a more CLEVER way of going about it…haha." he had paused a moment, looking to the camera, before growing flustered and then getting serious again. He got the tip of his nose through the key ring of where the laser knife was attached too, along with his keys and some other things, before finally tossing it up and getting his hands on it.

"And wallah!" Eggman freed himself as Sonic wiggled out of the now loosened ropes and jumped up, rolling back as Eggman scrambled to get himself together and get out from the robots cutting arms and hammer pounding fists.

"Phew, that was close! I can't believe I'm saying this, but way to go, Old man!" Sonic smiled and nodded with a thumbs up to Eggman.

"Oh, you… you really appreciate that.. don't you." Eggman's face lit up a moment, before Sonic awkwardly looked away.

"Now it's just getting weird, Eggface." Sonic ran off, as Eggman tried to race after him.

"Oh, right. W-wa-wait! HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO GET OUT OF HERE?! SONIC!"

Sonic rushed ahead before-

"YOU OWE ME!"

He looked upset and just rolled his eyes, knowing that was true, and went back to help Eggman out.

After successfully getting away, Sonic let Eggman go after his friends were about to trash him.

"Just let him run with his tail between his legs THIS time, guys…" he looked down, and folded his arms while the gang all questioned why he was letting Eggman get away. "Because!… I said so." Sonic looked up and smiled to a fleeing Eggman, who looked back and snickered.

"Suckers! They totally let me away!" he laughed while his escape machine exploded. "CURSES!"
