Could you do a Sonamy Boom! Prompt where Amy kisses Sonic? (Like this would be the 100th season of sonic boom, this would absolutely positively NEVER happen in all of infinity cuz SEGA would flip!) I have this headcanon where Amy grabs his scarf and pulls him in to kiss..?(...You don't have to to do this if you don't want to...I COMPLETELY understand if it's not canon at ALL😅)

It's… not canon, but I can try and put canon characters into a non-canon scene for you ;) I'll just say, um… they've gone through a lot together, and feelings are rising into a tension that they can't seem to get away from. It's getting awkward and weird for both of them, before they finally can't take it anymore. Does that work? Well, we'll see xD

After all the things they've been through… the duo missions, the awkward moments, the sudden fury of electricity over their first big fight that lead to tragedy, that then lead to forgiveness, and now this awkward pause of all and any normal contact between the two!

They were trying to just go back to the way things were… but that was impossible at this point…

Too much happened.

Too much that couldn't just be forgotten.

He would reach for something and their hands would touch a moment before a heat flashed through them and they had to walk away from one another.

Battles would need to be fought, and their signature duo move would come into play. At the end of it all, they would notice their hands are still together, and awkwardly part them and look away from one another, acting like nothing happened.

Well, finally, enough was enough, and the tension in both of them was going through the roof. When they spoke to each other, it was like 'facts only, no small talk' or 'small talk, real quick and let's move on'. It was barely a friendship now…

The feelings built up and there friendship began to fall apart, until finally…

"Stop." Sonic held up his hand and turned around, as Amy was running behind him, and looked confused. She tilted her head as he put his hands on his hips, his face looked troubled, looks like he was finally done with all the awkwardness and was just ready to go deep and talk about it.

which he dreaded…

Tails had strategically planned out that Amy and Sonic would be on this mission, not to complete it, but to FINALLY TALK about what they were both denying feeling for each other. Knuckles made sure the two agreed and that was that.

"..You know why Tails had us paired off, right?"

"..I figured as much." Amy admitted, looking down and holding her other arm. "…We've been really… distant lately. And I know it's because of everything that happened but… we can't keep living like this, Sonic.." Amy looked up, worry filled her eyes. "We're starting to effect the team, and Tails and Knuckles are starting to get concerned." she lifted her arm and gestured out, as if referring to her friends who aren't there.

"I know, I know! You think I don't see how awkward it is!? Even at the hub…" he turned around, getting frustrated as he held his hand and ruffled his hands angrily through his quills. "Man! I just wish… well.."

"What? That we weren't trapped together that one time? That none of this ever occurred? That we actually… were connecting on some deeper level of emotion but you chickened out and forced me to comply and try to bring things back to how they were!?" she spoke quickly, obviously, this came from sorrow and anger she dared not say before, but now, it was just too hard to stay quiet and be a good little girl. She was ready to take a stand against Sonic, and start calling him out.

"What?!" Sonic spun around, insulted by her words. "You think I chickened out!?"

"You don't want a serious relationship, I get that. But asking me to just… abandon my obvious feelings for you!? That was cold, Sonic! and you knew it when you said it! Why can't you just…just admit you like me!"

"Excuse me? I wasn't the one who asked for you to like me! I don't want a relationship! You said so yourself! I'm cold, and I'm selfish, and I can't have someone as special as you end up with a loser like me!"

…..

The two were silent for a long time, just staring at each other, as Sonic clenched his teeth, and looked away, his fists in tight balls. "I…I'm not a coward… but you deserve better… I'm not… I'm not the one that you should like, Amy… I don't deserve it, I never asked for it, and I don't feel I ever will. I'm not willing to change, and clearly, that's a problem for any relationship." he turned around, facing his back towards her. "..You should go back and find Knuckles and Tails. I'll take this mission solo." he started to walk on as Amy stopped him with a loud and defiant,

"WAIT!"

"…." he looked slightly over his shoulder, stopping in mid-stride.

"You think you can tell me who to love and for what reasons? I love you. There, I stated it." she looked away and hugged herself, not feeling comfortable about just blurting that out. "I always have. And I love you for YOU, not some guy you THINK you are. I see the good in you, and I know you're not willing to submit to your heart like normal people do, so I'll make this quick. That's you're preference right?" she walked up and spun him around.

"Woah! What are you-?"

She grabbed his bandanna and pulled him closer to her face, glaring. "I didn't want it to happen this way, but you really leave me no choice! If you won't do what your heart wants, then I'll do it myself!" Amy pushed up on her toes and kissed him as hard as she could, just shoving her lips on his as the brute force of it all made him step back to hold his ground.

His hands moved slightly in a circle, having to lean back as she pushed forward, kinda like the matrix but not as dramatically back. Suddenly, his hands slowly moved down, before being pushed up again, and then coming down on her back as he leaned into it.

They balanced one another out as they let go of all their resistance, obviously, they both really liked each other and wanted, or so it seemed, to hold each other for a long time. They just… never had it in them to start it first.

After parting, the two gasped for air quietly. Looking down before at one another, their eyes softening…

"..You're right." Sonic stated, through winded breath.

"…About what?"

"I'm not the man I think I am…" he put his hand behind her head, "I'm not strong enough to resist you…" he pulled her back into yet another powerful kiss as she completely surrendered to it.

Before long, Tails and Knuckles were wondering where the two awkward buddies were, before Sticks flew in. "Hey, you won't believe this! I just saw the weirdest thing!" she let go of the vine she swung in on and jumped on Knuckles's shoulders.

"Hey..!"

"Quiet, you! Listen and stop complaining!" She moved across his shoulders to lean down and talk to Tails. "I just saw Sonic and Amy trying to devour each other! Their mouths were all like, alaaaalalaallaaa." she put her hands up and started squishing them around, moving her tongue to make the sound as Tails and Knuckles's eyes widened.

"They did, WHAT!?"

"Are you saying that.. Sonic and Amy… were kissing?"

"Woah! What's kissing? I thought they turned cannibal!" she was biting her nails nervously, still holding on to Knuckles's head to keep her kneeling down on his shoulder.
