A/N: Hello again, everyone!

Disclaimer: I don't own Criminal Minds, though sometimes I wish I did. I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter. This chapter starts on Saturday, so it'll be about another week or two until Spencer returns to work. I wanted to mention the special day in honor of Mother's Day.

Spencer was in the kitchen, preparing the baby formula for Alexei. After placing the cap on the bottle and shaking it for a good five seconds, he dashed out of there and into the living room, where he found Élise on the couch, lying crosswise with Alexei in her arms, rocking him.

"Hey," he whispered and passed the bottle to Élise, who then rotated her body and rested her feet on the floor. She cradled Alexei in her arms at a 45-degree angle while keeping his head and neck aligned before angling the bottle to Alexei's mouth.

"Aw, isn't he so cute?" Élise admired Alexander and bopped his nose playfully. "Yes, you are cute, little guy."

Spencer stood behind the couch, relaxing his chin on his sealed fingers together on the back. "A week and a half old, and he's growing so much."

Later Friday, while Séraphine was at school and Issac was napping, Spencer and Élise took Alexander for his first scheduled visit with Dr. Paterson. While surprised at the news of the adoption, she gave her congratulations to the couple for their new family member. The good doctor did a physical examination, checking him from head to toe. She inspected his head, neck, collarbone, femoral pulse, umbilical stump, and genitalia (and did his circumcision), trundled his hips, and tested his reflexes. Overall, she deemed Alexander as being in good health; a little underweight, though but still healthy.

Élise made smoochy, kissy noises while feeding him. "Where are the kids again?"

"Rose took them and Opal to the park; they should be back in…thirteen minutes," Spencer answered, staring at his favorite silver watch, and then something else came into his head. "Oh! Harold and Patricia's baby shower is next Saturday, so…"

"I already got my gift for them." Élise continued feeding Alexander until she and Spencer witnessed his eyes expanding—meaning he was full. She placed the bottle on the coffee table and started tapping lightly on his back. If anything, she had a white cloth on both shoulders in case Alexei spat up.

Spencer yawned—again—as he reorganized the white porcelain dishes in one of the upper cabinets in the kitchen since it's been a while. Before he did that, he hoed down the sink, the island, and countertops with environmentally friendly all-purpose spray. Once he was done, he turned on the faucet, thoroughly washed his hands with the nearby Dawn antibacterial hand soap for a good minute, and used a clean cloth to cleanse his hands.

"Daddy!" Spencer heard Séraphine call out for him nearby. When he walked out of the kitchen, he stopped in his tracks when he saw Séraphine standing by the door. She had on a purple polo dress, mismatched socks, and Converse. Her backpack hung on her shoulders by its straps.

"Fifi! Are you ready for another day of school?" Spencer ruffled her wavy-curly locks.

"Uh-huh!"

"Hey…" Before Spencer could say anything else, a tiny wail and a cry from Élise filled the foyer. It was Élise carrying Alexander in her arms. "Wanna say bye-bye to Mommy and Alexei?" asked Spencer before he locked in a kiss and then leaned forward to kiss Alexei's forehead.

"Bye, Mama," Séraphine waved at her mother brightly. Her eyes looked down at Alexander, appraising him and giving him one wave. Later, kid." She took her father's wrist and headed out the front door with him. "Come on, daddy…"

Spencer and Élise's eyes locked onto each other's for a moment, for the former left with their daughter and waved bye again. Sensing someone was getting a little jealous of their new sibling. And Séraphine wasn't alone. This morning, Isaac stuck his tongue out during breakfast and blew a raspberry at Alexei. Twice.

"Ziggy…" Élise stood at the doorway, watching Isaac staring down at Alexander, sleeping in his bassinet. She whispered in a quiet tone, "You wanna help me make lunch? You have to let him sleep."

Isaac thumb-pointed to Alexander. He talked a little loudly, and Élise flagged her hand down, advising him to lower his voice. "Hasn't he had enough sleep by now?" Élise used her middle and index fingers to make Isaac come closer to her, which he did. "Don't you and Daddy always tell us that too much sleep is bad for you?"

"Yeah, we do, but babies and toddlers like you and Fee need lots of sleep."

"And you and Daddy?" Isaac questioned her again.

Élise answered, stroking under her eyes. "It's different with grownups. Believe me, Zig; you just need to take all the sleep you can get, and trust me, being a grownup is not all that's cracked up to be." She ended the talk with a light smile and took Isaac's hand. Soon, the two began to walk down the upstairs hallway. Élise stopped her tracks when she turned her head and heard Alexander's wails again.

"Oh, I'm coming, Lexy…" Letting go of Isaac's hand, Élise galloped to Alexander's bassist and scooped him carried into her arms. "Mommy's here, sweet boy…"

"Mommy…" Isaac reached out to Élise when she traipsed back into his nursery just as Rose came up from behind.

Élise held Alexander's small palm, trying to soothe him. "Oh, sorry, Zig; Rose, please help fix up some lunch, and then I'll come eat you soon, okay?" She gave him a remorseful smile and went back to comfort Alexander. "It's okay, Lexy; I got you…"

Rose jerked her hand twice and took Isaac's hand, leading him down the corridor and stairway. She poured over Isaac and saw the pout and quivering lip he had on his face. "You okay, Ziggy?" she asked him.

"Mommy and Daddy don't like me anymore…"

"Isaac said that?" A stricken Spencer sputtered. Rose gestured her head, bobbing 'yes' as confirmation. Élise stood next to him and had the same distracted vibe in her stomach; one hand was on it and the other over her mouth.

Rose added apprehensively. "And he's not the only one who's acting like the green-eyed monster…"

The adults recalled the increasing moments of the kids' behavior toward Alexander. Just when Spencer and Élise finally got Alexander down again, Séraphine and Isaac screamed at the top of their lungs, and he started crying again. Another was after the family took Mother's Day photos when Séraphine and Isaac deliberately burped in his face and made him cry again.

"No surprise there…"

Élise shivered. "We both know why. I mean, we have been spending most of our time with Alexei lately…"

"We both told them no one's being replaced…" Spencer folded his arms across his chest. "Think we should have another talk with them."

Élise's eyes widened as she gasped. "I think I have an idea…"

It was still mid-afternoon in D.C., and Alexander was also being fed again. Élise propped her feet up on the ottoman in the living room. Spencer roamed in with a large album he carried under his arm. He joined Élise on the couch and kissed her cheek before Alexander's forehead again. It was an acid-free album with a brown faux leather cover and BASTIEN-REID FAMILY ALBUM on the front in large lettering.

He sighed as he opened it and smiled at one of their recent memories. The Mother's Day photo. From left to right, Séraphine, Spencer, and Élise carried Alexander in their arms, and Isaac smiled. It was a good day; Spencer wanted Élise to stay in bed all day while he took care of Alexander for the majority of the day. He got the kids to help make a full-course breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Along with the dozens of roses and the cards the kids (and Opal) made and signed.

At least he got to spend it with them since his mother, Diana, could not make it to D.C. over the weekend. According to her doctors at Bennington, they had to change her medicine over the weekend to try and stabilize her schizophrenia. He personally wanted to go to Las Vegas for the weekend. Still, his father, William, kept tabs on Diana for him and was now currently doing alright.

"Ooh!" Élise imprinted her finger on one of the photos. "This is one of my favorites!" It was taken on the day of their wedding. It was a photo of Spencer and Élise square dancing to Taylor Swift's Love Story. They flipped to the next pages, and there were more photographs of them in Las Vegas days before the wedding, like the silly-face selfies and sophisticated photoshoots they took at Lake Mead, Paris Las Vegas, and Red Rock Canyon.

Spencer chuckled, especially at the one photo of Spencer and a semi-miserable-looking Rossi square-dancing. "Oh, Rossi's face in this…despite the scowl, he actually enjoyed it."

Élise laughed heartily with her head tilted back before she poured down on Alexei, still sucking on the bottle's nipple. "You're such a cute little boy, huh?"

"Mommy…"

"Daddy…"

Spencer and Élise turned their heads when they heard Séraphine and Isaac standing under the archway. Smiling, the two parents motioned their children to come and sit next to them; Spencer even scooted over to allow them to sit next to them—Séraphine sat next to Spencer and Isaac next to Élise.

Élise elevated her eyebrow when she watched Isaac narrow down at Alexander (with some distaste and obvious jealousy in his eyes) before eyeing Spencer. His eyes darted back to her as he kept turning the pages in the album. "You know, Ziggy, you were this small, too."

Isaac folded his arms. "Mmm-hmm…"

"We heard from Rose what you said, Zig…"

Isaac sniffled. "Evar' ince he came, you and Mommy…"

"...Have been spending all our time with him," Spencer completed the sentence for him, and Isaac nodded, sniffling again. "You and Fee are not only feelin' left out but jealous."

"What's jellyous?" Isaac asked. "Is that something you eat, like peanut butter and jelly?"

Spencer and Élise snickered. "No, it's not something you eat, but jealousy is when you want something someone else has. For example, let's say Fee got something new and you didn't Zig; you'd feel so mad that the green-eyed monster emerges."

"Do you and Mommy get jealous, Daddy?"

"Everyone gets jealous, Zigzag," Élise finished feeding Alexander and dabbed around his mouth to clean up any milk residue. "We know, and Daddy and I will tell you something else: Séraphine was actually jealous of you when you were born."

Séraphine scoffed. "I wasn't jealous…"

Élise snickered in her head and had a humorous face. "Babe, you tried to throw a handful of lasagna at him." Isaac's jaw dropped, and he turned his head to face his older sister with a shocked facial expression.

Séraphine stifled up, looking away. "I don't remember that…"

"You were only a year old, so…" Spencer stroked his daughter's locks and patted the top of her head. "It's okay to feel this way, but you have to deal with your jealousy positively because if you don't, you'll miss out on being his big brother."

Isaac's arms were still thwarted around his chest, and he eyed away from Alexander, cooing his mother's arms. His upper mouth pout softened when his eyes locked onto Alexander's. "Well, he is kinda cute…"

"Exactly what we keep telling you," Élise smiled. Isaac uncrossed his arms and played with his fingers. "You feel a little bad you were a little mean to him, huh?"

"I'm sowry…"

Spencer gently nudged Séraphine's shoulder, knowing she, too, was not only feeling bad for being a little mean to Alexander but jealous as well. "I'm sorry, too…"

Élise lowered her arms. "You two wanna hold him for a bit?" Spencer helped the children cradle Alexander in their arms, making sure the baby's head and neck allied together.

"Hey, little bro…" Isaac smiled; Séraphine followed as well. "Me and your big sis luv yoo…"
